3721  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: how long you can stay without gambling? on: June 21, 2018, 08:57:40 AM
the longest I can stay without gambling is about a month and in that time, I never thought about playing the gambling games because I was busy with my work in my real life. I am glad that I don't have an addiction that only thinking about the gambling because I think my mind is attracted to the other else and I need to finish my work first then I can spend my time for another activity. I think every gambler can do this too if they want to get out from their addiction.
It would actually be hard for someone who is very busy in real life most especially when it is job related and takes bunch of your time to end up being so keen about gambling most of the time or not being able to stay away from it most of the time, because for someone who is totally addicted, and still on a job there is absolutely no way such a job will not be affected. I am not a hardcore gambler though, but I do once in a while and by once in a while, it could be once in a year.
3722  Economy / Economics / Re: World economy, what do you think? on: June 20, 2018, 06:49:19 PM
International relations have a direct impact on the world economy. The only question is if a country has a large reserve of its own resources, then why is it equal to other countries and foreign economy Huh
A whole lot of effect. In fact, it goes hand in hand. It typically helps every country in a way within that circle as it heralds the emergence of a global cultural system and this plays the part in which a lot of countries find ways they can achieve a symbiotic relationship so as to help each other in boosting her own economy and in a way typically affects the global system at large.

It is always good to have a healthy relationship with other countries, and if we are to face it, in the terms of an unhealthy relationship, there is a huge possibility of seeing that huge gap like you have said, no matter who was benefitting the most before.
After globalization from late 90's, we are having improved relationship among different political countries. When countries are not friendly to each other for the sake of world peace, they are now in relationship at least for economic reasons.
3723  Economy / Speculation / Re: Right time to buy bitcoin "again" ??? on: June 20, 2018, 06:17:07 PM
yes, right now is the right time to buy bitcoin "again" because the price still not increase higher and we have the opportunity again to buy at the lower price. but be careful because the price can decrease so we need to divide our order to a few order and I think with this, we can anticipate for buying bitcoin at the price now or at the higher price.
Right, as long as you understand the value bitcoin creates and the potential for the future, you really would not worry much about any movement in its price in the short term and will help more in focusing on the long term. Just as you have said, so far, we have been going up and from the look of things, we are obviously going to keep having this since the market is still growing anyway and nothing is going to stop it, not even this present condition.
3724  Economy / Economics / Re: How to regulate crypto? on: June 20, 2018, 05:04:02 PM
I am absolutely sure that the crypto industry need to be regulated. It need to organize  special organization(s) which has to control market and all participants and, of course, we must have logical and convenient rules to evolve the crypto industry. I mean something like CFTC.
This is something we should not even be debating anymore as it is so glaring that humans cannot do things all by themselves without some devilish punks coming to parade themselves just to want to evade the space and do things in their own way which may likely tarnish the image of a lot of things which apparently is what we have been experiencing.

Scams, manipulations, name them! However, we sure do know that the only way we can at least start getting to have a growing and matured space is when regulation comes to play.
3725  Economy / Economics / Re: Good news or bad news... on: June 20, 2018, 04:04:37 PM
Sure Warren doesn't like crypto at all. Just remember to put yourself in the mind and body of a rich old man - you would stick with stock, shares and currencies. Think with your own mind and like a younger millenial and you will see that some crypto's have a great future. Bitcoin was and is the trailblazer. However, more and more people are seeing their privacy being eroded. Privacy coins aim to maintain anonymity. Good ones to consider include: Shield, Monero and DeepOnion. All of the offer low cost and fast alternatives to banks. Personally, Monero has reaached ts peak and DeepOnion has maybe a 10x opprotunity for investors once the airdrop is completed. Cheers
I call those kinds of people archaic and simply borrowing a life that is not theirs, lol. This is a digital age and we cannot actually expect someone who has been used to traditional all his life, been rich through that process to just wake up one morning in his old years too adapt easily to the new world.

It is obviously one of those things we will have to live with for now until they start understanding they are living borrowed years.
3726  Economy / Speculation / Re: What do you think will happen in august ? on: June 20, 2018, 02:33:52 PM
My expectation in August will be the market price will increase, and most ICO projects will be successful and more people will focus on investing in ICO projects
Usually during summer, the prices of altcoins are always bound to increase hugely and that I am sure will be the case as well for this period.

We cannot say yet how things may end up turning out for most of the coins or tokens in the market, but let's just hope we at least get to see some upward movement around then. Like you said, with respect to ICOs, I am really and eagerly waiting to see the outcome of some of them around this time which I believe would be really worth the wait.
3727  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin going to $400 on: June 20, 2018, 01:28:05 PM
Giant ponzis do not run for more than 10 years. At $600,000,000,000 invested in Bitcoin the money supply has dried up. Bitcoin has crashed from $20,000 to $12,000

and high profile people calling Bitcoin a giant scam there is ever increasing risk of international police raiding Bitcoin mines

I think a $ 400 bitcoin is a nightmare that will never happen, even though bitcoin is down, but I think it will never touch $ 400. I do not know why you are too negative to bitcoin so make such predictions.
It is really a dream and for those who are looking forward to it like the OP, I hope they get to wake up from their dream eventually and then, face reality.

This is a market where nothing is guaranteed though, but not like $400. We have gone past the stage where there would not be some very huge support along the line for bitcoin, as long as it is simply not by any means dead which we both know it is not and I do not see anything yet that would warrant some serious level of dump on the market.
3728  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Technical or fundamental analysis: what is the best choice? on: June 19, 2018, 07:07:32 PM
When you want to learn how to trade, you have to learn it both. Technical analysis is usefull in day trading and for long term investment you have to learn fundamental analysis. Fundamental analysis consist of the team founder of project is solid or not and what problem they want try to solve. Technical analysis is does not work accurated in crypto trading but this is very usefull for short trading to understanding support and resistance area.
Yes, learning it both will be a great advantage, but to me, the best thing to learn as a trader most of the time is technical analysis so as to help guide you on making decisions. Even sometimes, most especially in the cryptocurrency market, fundamental really will not work. However, for those who may be in the long term style of trading, it can help combining some little bit of technical analysis and most of fundamental analysis but really, technical analysis gives a lot more advantage to a trader than fundamental analysis.
3729  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Master the trading on: June 19, 2018, 05:06:43 PM
there seems to be a lot of master traders and lots of developers knowing tricks and deeper trading tips, but I'm sure they will never want to teach you to trade properly and always be able to earn profits because that is the secret of their success gained from experience who once was in the past.
They all started learning gradually and then got better with experience and you cannot expect them to just spoon feed you. The resources are everywhere and it is your choice to use them or not to. A lot of people do not want to learn and that is the main reason why they flop a lot when it comes to trading. It is always good to learn, master what you have learned by taking your time to practice so you can get better and then seeing how that builds your confidence over time.
3730  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: WHAT ARE THE BEST SITES OR APPS TO START TRADING? on: June 19, 2018, 12:30:03 PM
Do not forget bittrex, I used it for several years. there is no serious problem there.
we are safe to trade. very suitable for long-term and beginner trades.
I have been using bittrex for a very long time now and I have never regretted it for once. The only reason why I am even considering binance right now is because of fees and volume, but at the same time, I just simply have not discarded my loyalty yet for bittrex. The most important thing is to find what suits one in terms of trying to do analysis and so on anyway but in terms of safety and longtime reputation, I give it to bittrex, with binance being my other preferable choice.
3731  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: thinking quiting after lose on gambling. on: June 19, 2018, 11:59:57 AM
everyone will always think to stop after losing. but all changed when it had money as a capital, and ambition to seize yesterday's defeat and get a big win instead. but not necessarily that can happen.
I like that word; ambition to take the opportunity with today so as to regain what you have lost yesterday. However, it is funny that the same thing keeps repeating itself for most people until it becomes a routine they will hardly be able to get out from.

Like they always say, it is only a fool that will keep doing the same thing over and over again and then expecting different results, but most of them just lose it completely to understand that they will just keep meeting the same thing unless they are just fortunate enough to get very lucky.
3732  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are some unique advantages of online gambling ? on: June 19, 2018, 11:24:14 AM
I will start with one to begin the discussion. If you are putting huge amounts at stake and want to keep identity private, online gamblign comes as a boon.

Sometimes if you win huge amount, most likely online casino will require you documents before you can withdraw your winnings. On good advantage though is that you can play it anytime you want at your convenience. But then again, not all gamblers really likes playing online and prefer the atmosphere of a traditional casinos like me.
I have always preferred casinos as this is where the major fun generally is and at least, I get to go once in a blue moon to unleash that spirit to the gambling world. Gambling online to me has been really boring and the only thing that makes sense to me is just sport betting since that gives you the chance to make your bets online, get paid into your wallet if you win and in this case I am referring totally to cryptocurrency gambling which we all know do have a lot of advantage over fiat online gambling.
3733  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why gambling is portrayed negatively almost everywhere? on: June 19, 2018, 12:31:30 AM
Gambling is portrayed negatively because it can affect someone's life in a bad way like putting all your time in gambling instead of spending it with your family and you will also spend your hard earned money in gambling until you go broke. These characters are the effects when you get addicted in gambling.
Gambling has negative vibes. There is no wise persons on this globe who once call this gambling a good source of income or entertainment. That is why it is presented as detrimental throughout the world. There are promotions who are working over the edge just to let others know how badly this gambling could affect you. So better is to make yourself distant from you, have a good life.
Right, the entertainment part most of the time is actually more like a consolation for those who may be looking for a way to control themselves but if we really want to face the hard truth, it is hard to see gambling as an entertainment without the mindset of wanting to at least win but the ability to now control the impulse makes it count.

Nevertheless, it is obvious a lot of people find that hard to do, so it is best to stay away if you know you have no control than to even think of giving it a try. Knowing all the dangers of gambling well and even after those awareness testing it for fun is the big mistakes most gamblers do.
3734  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price manipulation on: June 18, 2018, 12:59:57 PM
I read that they are investigating criminal price manipulations over Bitcoin. Manipulation of prices is really possible ? This happened before ?
I think price manipulation for bitcoin is possible. Those big investors can do it since they have the power to store large amount of bitcoin in their hands and at the same time release them the time they wanted. As a result it can affect the market's supply and demand.
Not like it is possible, it is being done every day. This is a speculative market and the fact is that the whales do take advantage of it a lot and try as much as possible to gain huge position and make a lot of money with it.

It is nor a regulated market, so things like this should be expected but the investigation that is being done goes right, and we get to see some regulations in place to limit or eliminate things like this, then it would really be a great advantage for the space as we either get to see a real non manipulated uptrend or a downtrend.
3735  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it true that a whale moved 8k BTC? on: June 16, 2018, 12:02:44 PM
Let's assume that's true. What is the impact of 8000BTC on 17,086,500BTC?
Honestly, this is not the most influential factor in the price, but I think there is a big manipulation going on in the price.
The price rose wildly last year and without any signs of it.
It sure do have a lot of impact when it is not done over the counter and it is rather done on an exchange which was the reason the MtGox sell off was so easy to get the market running down pretty fast around last year that almost led to some fear in the market. The liquidity in these exchanges may not be enough to help with all these and selling a huge amount all at once will simply affect the value.

You need to understand that not all the coins in circulation are on exchange. However, like you have said there may be several other reasons which this that you mentioned may be a part of it.
3736  Economy / Economics / Re: Reason we pay taxes and why we should on: June 16, 2018, 08:44:47 AM
There are stipulated responsibilities of government both in the constitution and administration often has their agenda and manifesto which they want to achieve therefore revenue is needed to execute them. Yeah this isn’t only beneficial for the government rather all the citizens over the country. This takes up economic growth and make a country strong financially to produce better results for its citizens
That is the funny part in it all. We may see it as something that would not have been necessary to do or some possibility of the government robbing its citizens by not providing all that is needed or doing something tangible with the tax and then just some group of people looting all the funds, but as crazy as that still sounds, it is a law that one must abide, unless if the law is not that strict, but as far as I know in most countries, tax evasion is a serious offence.

Even bitcoin will become a main stream momentary system, governments may get their income stream in terms of licenses for running business and when a transaction will be done with fiats. Fiats will stay with us for centuries hence governments need not to worry about the rise of cryptocurrencies kind of virtual cash systems.
3737  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin and retirement - how do you see your future? on: June 16, 2018, 05:26:52 AM
I won’t really try putting my life savings into Bitcoin, no way! It’s a very big risk for anyone that does such a thing and I can’t risk it. I know a friend of mine that did that and ended losing more than 50% of his money. Best thing is to divide the money and make use of about 20 or 30% for Bitcoin investment, save the next 30% while you make use of the remaining percentage to start up an offline business.
That would normally be an insane thing to do and a very risky one for that matter. It is everyone's choice to decide what they want to do with their money anyway, but with the way the market is; there is no point getting greedy as nothing is guaranteed and even though things are looking brighter by the day as we keep forging ahead, at least, it is always better to take calculated risks.

You are right as at least a few percentage of your savings should be enough at least to minimize the risk of any unforeseen stuffs and probably push it into other offline investments to diversify the risk.
3738  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can you hold my hand? on: June 14, 2018, 09:00:51 AM
[im g]https://i.redd.it/35htxr9719311.jpg[/img]

I might be the biggest proponent of "buy the dip" as a strategy in the forum. I always do it, and my resolve in the belief that Bitcoin will reach a 6 figure price is still strong. But sometimes seeing the price go down hurts. I need support.
I am able to understand your thoughts and situations. Shit happens and we just have to accept those shits as they come. I was actually a very big fan of buying the dips also for a while until I just could not any longer based on the fact that the feeling hurts so much and that made me to decide to just follow the trading path, learn so much about trend following and that worked pretty fine for me now but in any way, I am so happy to hold your hands. Grin

It still works though for those who have the strong heart to overlook the hurting feelings. If we look into the past where how people managed their holding when bitcoin prices fell down from $1200 to $180 in span of 15 months then we also will get some mental preparedness.
3739  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin may continue to move higher on: June 14, 2018, 08:23:51 AM
We are hoping positively. As we have seen, bitcoin price increases more than the price before.Although their is a sudden dip but the value is still far better than before when it recovers.
Yeah, we are all hoping positively for the long term, but this does not mean that whatever would happen in the short term will still not happen. The dip this time around was like a happy price this time last year and I wonder why people are just so furious. bitcoin has been moving higher in the long term right from when this whole thing actually started but in the short term, a little bit of downward movement should be expected, but because most people who bought at the peak did so out of greed, they end up seeing the dip as the problem instead of an advantage to buy more. I guess there will be more other people are already buying might be helping the market to revert back.
3740  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: is ETH will hit 400$ on: June 13, 2018, 02:34:15 PM
Huh
What a better smiley to use. This is more like a question that definitely no one can give an answer to. The whole market is facing a downtrend situation with nothing guaranteed at all. Presently, ETH is trading below $500 and so the possibility of it going down lower is still there which means lower than $400 is even possible. Whether it will hit or not is what no one can tell since we obviously cannot predict the future unless to just accept whatever comes.

Eth would be hard to predict yet, but there is a slight chance and possibility that it could go lower than that from the look of things. The market is in a state of uncertainty and it would be too hard for anyone to start predicting what could happen and what not could happen. However, the best is to follow the trend and so far, ETH as well as almost every other market is in a downtrend, and until that changes, any value is possible for any market.
