Not looking well for my bet.  Did not watch first set bet Zverev is playing like he is afraid to hit forehand. Had so many chances to attack shorter balls and did not take them. Hopefully he will throw caution to the wind and start hitting after he looses second set as well.
Yes, it seems that when Tsitsipas broke him early, it's done for him, losing the first 2 set.

Although he can go up ahead 3-1 in the third set, he seems to be timid with his forehand so Tsitsipas takes advantage of it and becoming the aggressor in this game.

So let's see, obviously, third set is crucial for him to win if he wanted to stay in the match.
3722  Economy / Economics / Re: Binance under investigation on: June 11, 2021, 12:25:05 PM
Binance is one of the largest exchanges in the world.  I don't think that binance is doing any evasion.  In the crypto world there are many competitors who might be able to create bad news to bring down their rivals.  The decline in coin prices that he is experiencing in this month is due to a lot of bad news that he gets.  And there are some countries that are against cryptocurrencies.  I personally think.  The decline in coin prices so far is because many are panic selling.  Because they are afraid that their income will decrease.
We can't really say for sure what fraudulent practices is Binance doing from behind. That's why they are in the hot seat right now. Yes, they are on top tier exchanges, but it doesn't mean they are not doing some malpractice and evasion, hence they are being investigated today.

We can't tie in this investigation to the decline of the market, there are a lot of FUD going around. In any case, if nothing has found on Binance then good, all they have to do is to cooperate on the investigation if they have nothing to hide.
3723  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcointalk Market Sentiment Poll 6/8/2021 on: June 11, 2021, 11:36:33 AM

And here we are today looking like maybe we are ready for another 40k test:)

Bitcoin looks up again and is trying to get past the $40k price, hopefully now Bitcoin can get past the $40k resistance price. But if it still fails to
cross the $40k price, and the Bitcoin price drops again, I'm still optimistic that Bitcoin hasn't entered a bear market yet. Because I believe
if crypto is bearish the price will drop below $20k, if it's still above $20k, I believe Bitcoin is still in a bullish trend.

I guess a lot more profit taking happened so we are now back again down in the middle of 30-40. Asians markets are selling I also can see so we need to see what happens in a few more hours when the other side of the world starts considering positions for the weekend.

I agree, for me above 20k is still bullish but it would be really weird to see us go below that again.
$40k is a big test, but so far we have failed, like what 5 or 6 times already.

And then we go on the $32k levels again, at least we have bounce back to $36k, but still short term the market sentiments turn to be bearish, although we have hear El Salvador at least accepting bitcoin as legal tender.

In any case, let's see how it goes at the end of the year, we might crack a new all time high, or better, a 6 digits in the horizon.
3724  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is shilling effective in the crypto community? on: June 11, 2021, 10:49:06 AM
I mean it would depend on what platform and all i suppose, but the devs of the project I'm in does lots of "coordinated shilling", things like raiding a telegram chat or commenting on twitter posts.

I really don't know how effective they are? What is the main marketing in crypto anyways?
Nah, because community members are very quick to identify shills here. And we are going to call it no matter what, on the contrary, it could backfire on the project itself. Read this one: Don't get tricked by hidden spam on this forum.

Main marketing? I would say the best is still signature campaigns. Getting a reputable and trusted bounty managers is also a plus for the project.
3725  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: June 11, 2021, 10:10:26 AM
Jokic is MVP and certainly carrying the team very well but without your second player you are not going to be playing that well.
He deserves it and although I'm not a fan of him but he's doing well. I agree that without any help from another team mate, he won't be able to play well.

But with individual performances, he's striving and he showed what he can do but we'll see if they'll be getting a win tomorrow against Phoenix Suns.

Michael Porter Jr, needs to step up as the second option for the Nuggets, he has been putting incredible numbers in the first round, unfortunately, it was reported that he has a back spasm, that might affect his shot making. But they will be comfortable at their homecourt, so I'm expecting that Jokic will play very well in front of the Nuggets crowd and to get their first win in their series.
3726  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: June 10, 2021, 11:49:22 PM

Yes i agree with you i think we will see a final between tsitsipas and nadal since they both are in a big form and they proved it against though opponents djokovic need to be 100% in order to win if he play poorely like he did against musseti and berretini he can lose 3 0.

I think the final will indeed be Tsitsipas vs Ndadal with Nadal winning the title.
On paper the semi final of Nadal vs Djokovic is interesting and could go all the way but it could also be a one sided match (as the final of last yeear).
Right, it could be over in 3 sets for Nadal, we all know that Djokovic is the top seed, but this is Nadal's turf. And we have seen the last time they fought in clay, as much as Djokovic really push Nadal on the edge, Rafa has responded very well.

I wanted Tsitsipas to win as well, it will be the young gen vs the old guard in the finals for this year. And maybe why the draw was pretty obvious in the beginning.
3727  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Naoya Inoue vs Michael Dasmarinas June 19 on: June 10, 2021, 11:20:08 PM
Hey guys! I'm just sharing, the odds are already out in one of the bookies.

Dasmarinas is x15.. will you hesitate to take that?

https://1xbet.com/en/line/Boxing/
-snip-

I know it's from a non reputable site, but it's up to you if you'll bet on the site.

for sure there will be other reputable bookies that will list this fight. need to wait for few days. but we have idea about the gap of their odds now, such wide one. if you will bet on inoue, you will gain only a lil bit and not really worth imo, but if you will bet on dasmarinas, and if in any case, this will be an upset, that's a huge winning. take your pick. wondering why other bookies is not listing this yet, considering the name of inoue in boxing?

Waiting is the key here, I don't want to touch so much on the reputation of the site, we know they have a lot of active scam accusations but they are still active in marketing now, maybe they have different odds providers.

I search on Sportsbet, stake, and Bitsler found nothing.

That is sad to hear if reputable crypto bookies haven't listed the fight yet ase we don't want to take risk on other gambling sites.

Could be true that this doesn't have so much attention in the US right now, but we all know that this could be a really good fight. And even thought that Naoya Inoue is the favorite, we have a solid Filipino boxer here willing to take the big challenge against one of the most feared boxer in the lower weight division.
3728  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: June 10, 2021, 10:39:56 PM
Nuggets never really had a chance during this playoffs without Murray, that dude is their second best player and even though MPJ stepped up and played decently, he is not at playoff level right now, so they needed Murray. It is great that they moved to second round, but I wouldn't be shocked if they get swept here, Jokic is MVP and certainly carrying the team very well but without your second player you are not going to be playing that well.

I personally care about the other side a lot more, Jazz versus Clippers, that is a very good series and I wonder what is going to happen there, we haven't seen anything that would dictate which team will win, sure Jazz won but I think it could turn around as well it wasn't that far off, without one block from Gobert we could have talked differently.

Nuggets might try something at home and try and make this series intresting.I watched the first half of the match denver couldnt hit a single bucket they were 0/9 for threes at one point they stayed close somehow but in the second half the suns knocked them down.Jokic is giving his best and carrying them but he cant do it alone like you said.
Yes, I believed that when the games shifts to Nuggets homecourt, it will be a different environment and so Denver will perform better here. To Suns credit, they really played very well, defense and then having a good shooting night. Chris Paul in double figures and then the rest of the team was ignited.

But I'm expecting Jokic to play big next game at their home court. We will hear "MVP" chants and this willl motivate him and the team.
3729  Economy / Speculation / Re: El salvador has become new history of bitcoin! on: June 09, 2021, 04:44:22 PM
Yeah, even if El Salvador is a small country, still, we should take his as very welcoming news indeed. We have been waiting for other nations as well. And maybe this is the start of a movement, in Latin American for bitcoin to be accepted as legal tender.

And at least we have some positive news to come, last 6 months or so, the headline was always, Elon and China FUD and negative news. Prices jump to +10% or more in the last 24 hours, good sign ahead.
3730  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: June 09, 2021, 11:30:33 AM

But another big name also knock out Medvedev, as others have said, he is not expecting to play high level in this surface and yet he reach this far.

Tsitsipas is really playing good, he will be facing his young rival in Zverev, maybe this will extend to 5 sets game now. I will still go with Tsitsipas here to reach the finals against either Nadal or Djokovic.

Nice victory of Tsitsipas but I expected that he would win with more margin, but still he managed to do it in 3 sets.
Waiting on the odds of Tsitsipas to win against Zverev, but here again a handicap on Zverev could be interesting.
Tsitsipas vs Zverev @1.83 -2.5 and probably a parlay with Nadal -8.5 against Schwartzman will be a interesting combination. I think both matches could end in just 3 sets. Surprised to see Schwartzman name here, maybe he has a easy road that's why he reaches this far.

I haven't check the odds on Tsitsipas vs Medvedev, did he cover it?
3731  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: June 09, 2021, 10:40:04 AM
We have a game between Jazz and Clippers, now it's Jazz time to comeback and making it close in the third quarter. Gonna be interesting how the game will turn out. Clippers just holding a slim margin and it's their turn to have a scoring drought. Hard to see, who will win in the end, perhaps defense will be the key here.

Great game so far they been going back and forth in the 2nd half and this is only game 1 this is going to be one hell of a series. But Utah looks great!
Yeah, just one game, but Utah shows its strength already, coming back from a deficit and then hitting there three point shot. And you are right, defense win the game as Robert block the shot of Kawhi.

So let's see what adjustments Ty Lue will do in game 2. They can steal one game and take home court advantage. Luke Kennard is the surprised by tallying 18 points, mostly three's.
3732  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bearish movement on the way? on: June 08, 2021, 03:37:17 AM
Quite evident that BTC chart plots a flag pattern after a strong dump, not really a bullish signal and this worries me a little bit.
Well, it's not just you that are worried, too early to see the bearish sign, but let's just be optimistic and hope that in the next quarter or two, the price will somewhat recover and hit a new all time high.

P.S: I took a look at the 2018 run, I've noticed that a very similar triangular formation was been plotted, followed by another bearish movement; I know that history doesn't necessarily repeats itself on this market, but I still found this interesting
Yes, everything here is interesting because the market is fairly young and we will see a lot of similar patterns. But it doesn't mean it will hold true though. Again, we have a long way to go till the end of the year to gauge if we really in bear market or not.
3733  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: June 08, 2021, 03:07:24 AM

Good call for the moment as Djokovic is up 4-1 in the 3rd set.
After going through two sets with a tie break Djokovic was able to win in the 3rd and 4th sets, 5th set He lead 4-0.
It looks like Musetti was injured so he decided to retires, Musetti gave a tight fight if he wasn't injured maybe he could have beaten Djokovic.
https://twitter.com/atptour/status/1401916863060189184

Too bad that Musetti got injured, would have been the biggest shock till now in this French Open. Djokovic will now play against Berrettini who got a walkover thanks to the forfait of Federer.
I liked how Djoko came back after trailing by two sets to zero, he returned with three consecutive days before the opponent withdrew from the match.
The mental fortitude that this man possesses is very mythical, and even as he breathes his last, you enter into doubt and he may return and defeat you.
Djokovic.the hardest player to demoralize, he is recovering from the middle of the pile of bad, and it is no wonder that the next is a myth, because I see many things related to history numbers that this iron Serb may be afflicted with. Run away with any number you have in the yellow ball, I see it exceeded that and much more.

That is something I have observed several times in the past when it comes to Djokovic. He was even accused once of doing that on purpose for more or less unknown reasons. He loses two sets and out of a sudden it goes boom and he just destroys his opponent. He sometimes also has that when he leads like 2-0, and then he plays a third set as if he never had a racket in his hands. It's really weird from time to time.

Anyway, for all the fans of the clash between the titans, we are on track for Djokovic - Nadal! Wink Sadly, it would be a semifinal though. Still worth watching a hopefully 5+ hours game! Tongue Have fun guys!
Djokovic needs to overcome another good clay player in Berrettini. Maybe we can see another come from behind win by Djokovic assuming that Berrettini will go out and play like it is final.

I also observed Djokovic style of play, we can't say if he is doing it on purpose or something, but he seems to take a dive early or even in the third set. Maybe he want's to take a rest or preserved his energy for more grueling game ahead, but it doesn't make sense. As compare to let's say Nadal who will really give 100% in the first set and will bully his opponents into submission both physical and mental. Like what he did to Jannik, 6-0 on the last set.
3734  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Floyd Mayweather vs. Logan Paul - June 6 on: June 08, 2021, 02:36:50 AM
Not good for boxing period. Those two clowns just stole money from those who were at ring side and you will here boos after the fight. But they doesn't care, they've earn millions in fight exhibition fight already.  And no winner? they can't fool boxing fans, only casual and those fan boys are willing to buy live gate.

What Floyd is doing is disrespect to the boxing community, organizations shouldn't sanction any of this kind of fights and not provide any referees for them.
3735  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: June 08, 2021, 01:47:09 AM
^^ I'm really surprised not by the Nets, but by the Bucks performance here. In paper it looks like they are a solid team as compare to like two years ago. I think Giannis has plateaued already and so is the team. And after the Nets win this series, a lot of decisions on management and players as well. To stay in this system or look for superstar players to complement Giannis (if he chooses to stay).

They have to win game 3 at their homecourt, otherwise this is moot. And if Harden's come back, will be difficult for the Bucks to win.
3736  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: After El Salvador, Paraguay Congressman announces Bitcoin and Paypal project on: June 08, 2021, 01:09:48 AM
Politicians aren't too different from popular businessmen entrepreneurs who are constantly talking about bitcoin on their social medias. Besides being a currency and a strong investment on long run, bitcoin has also became a tool for people capitalize more engagement on the internet. Some politicians started using bitcoin to promote themselves on the social medias, like businessmen have already been doing so far.
Due to the spot congressmen occupy I think they should talk about bitcoin seriously instead of only attempting to farm likes and shares. What important project is he talking about? How will it work on practice? What does a bitcoin adoption project has to do with a picture of the congressman displaying laser eyes? We need more seriouness... Let the jokes and the catchphrases for the clown Elon Musk.
It comes with time though, as we are in the social age, every politicians have this sort of media presence and updating what is happening in their country. Perhaps the congressman has taken advantage of the popularity of bitcoin, or maybe he is really serious of filing a bill later.

We can't really answer what projects are in the horizon, so your questions cannot be answered by this time. So let us give them some time, El Salvador, Paraguay and maybe neighboring countries will follow as well. And I will assume that he is all serious because he represent his country, and his tweet coincidence with the recent bitcoin conference wherein he is an attendee if I got it right.

3737  Other / Off-topic / Re: Anoymous message to Elon Musk on: June 05, 2021, 07:13:54 PM
Finally the community is bashing Elon Musk. Anonymous is a powerful group, let's see where they go.

Nothing much will change. The community can't stand before the whales. The cases like GameStop where WallStreetBets community initiated Short squeeze against Melvin Capital don't happen every day.
Anynomous as said, is a powerful, yes Elon can continue his anti-bitcoin sentiments, but he can't ignore what anonymous said or expose. Sooner or later, it will bite him in the ass.

Maybe one day, some groups will do cyber attack on his company or anything related to Tesla. Or he will be a pawn in this whole cyber espionage war, we will see.
3738  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dot, Next Ethereum on: June 05, 2021, 01:49:23 PM
I agree, DOT has a lot of potential and obviously, we can see that many investors are hype about this project, hence the price is really doing good in the last 9 months that I've been monitoring this coin.

However, ETH will be ETH, it has it's own strength and weaknesses and so is DOT. So for me they are two different projects, still really up to devs which platform to choose.
3739  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Manny Pacquiao vs Errol Spence Jr - August 21 on: June 05, 2021, 01:20:10 PM
Another Filipino will fight as an undercard of this fight.

https://tribune.net.ph/index.php/2021/06/02/pacquiao-card-features-magsayo/

Pacquiao card features Magsayo
Quote
Envy unbeaten Filipino featherweight Mark Magsayo for being told about a chance of a lifetime.
No, Magsayo is not getting a world title shot.

Not yet.

But the magnitude of what’s to come should have the same importance as that of an elusive crack at a world crown.

Good chance for Magsayo to earn an exposure in big stage, he should win this fight and he will surely get a big one after.
Thanks for the update, it's good that Mark will have another chance to show his ware as under card and we have to thank Manny as well for helping his fellow Filipinos to get exposure in the big stage as he knows how it is hard to have a chance if you don't have the right connection like well know boxing promoters.

So let's hope that Mark will take this opportunity and he has the tools to be a world champion in major ABC belt.
3740  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: June 05, 2021, 12:59:38 PM
Well , it looks like Clippers found a way to block Luka last night but to be honest I watched 1st half and it seems Luka wanted more help from his teammates in this game so I expect him to go all or nothing in game 7. However, I still want Mavs to win as my favorite player is clearly Luka Doncic.

After that controversial three-point airball last night, Kawhi Leonard bounce back strong and single-handedly dismantle the Mavericks in the fourth quarter.

Luka did not get the help he wanted from KP when it mattered the most. For them to win game7, they must have high percentage from the rainbow which was not present last night, they missed a lot of open shots.

This Clippers-Mavs series is the first one to reach game7, so expect another exciting finish and I think this would be a close and low scoring game.
Exactly, from one of the most clutch player to unclutch in game 5 to god mode in game 6 and carry LA Clippers and forced the first game 7 this season.

Saw interview of of Leonard, he wanted switch on Luka, seems he takes it personally, making this series one of the best 1st round we had in years. Now it's going to LA home court, I wonder though if the trend will continue, the visiting team always won.
