3721  Economy / Exchanges / Re: I sent bchabc to btc on: January 06, 2019, 03:46:36 AM
Op seems to be having a hard time speaking in english, so why not ask the ppl from your local board, we have a turkish board here: Türkçe (Turkish).

Ppl can't really help you or at least give you ideas if they can barely understand you, and pretty sure you would be able to fully express your side there.
OP please do.

Also, try to contact them via their social media accounts, I'm sure they will respond.

3723  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: im looking to sell bitcoin 10,000 and 500,000 seperate deals on: January 05, 2019, 05:50:08 PM
But why should anybody trust him to purchase bitcoin instead of using exchanges?
Common reasons, is first, of high fees in most exchange regarding of buying large amount of coins using fiat, and second, kyc procedures, since it's a must which some other people don't want to disclose their personal information.

But regarding to p2p transactions, I suggest escrow is a must.
3724  Economy / Services / Re: Content Writing Service $0.02 per word on: January 05, 2019, 05:19:09 PM
Edit: fixed hyper links.
Seems you edit the links manually from html page and there's some miner errors of compiling anchor tags.

Go back to your service, so you actually ask 10$ for 500 words?
3725  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / [2019-01-05] BitTorrent Is Launching Its Own Cryptocurrency on the Tron Network on: January 05, 2019, 05:13:43 AM
BitTorrent, which pioneered peer-to-peer technology for sharing files on the internet, is creating its own cryptocurrency.

Issued by the Singapore-based BitTorrent Foundation, the new BitTorrent Token (BTT) will run on the tron protocol, developed by Tron, which acquired BitTorrent in June of last year. The file-sharing software company claims to have 100 million users.

Justin Sun, founder of Tron and CEO of BitTorrent, said in a press release:

“In one giant leap, we can introduce blockchain to hundreds of millions of users around the world and empower a new generation of content creators with the tools to distribute their content directly to others on the web.”

The plan to issue a token follows the announcement of Project Atlas, which BitTorrent revealed at the end of August. Project Atlas is a new iteration of the P2P software. It provides users with a way to spend and earn crypto while sharing files.

Under the existing system, users need to put a file on the system in order to download something. As Sun explains in a YouTube video, the user has no incentive to keep a file on the network once they have finished downloading.

With BTT, users can pay someone with the file to send it to them and they can pay for more bandwidth, so it downloads faster. With the prospect of payment, file hosts have an incentive to keep more files available to the network, making it more likely that a given user will be able to download something they want more quickly.

3726  Other / Meta / Re: New BPIP report on Bitcointalk.org posts that are "merited the most times" on: January 05, 2019, 04:51:01 AM
My fault. I forgot to adjust the labelling on the table for the mobile view. Wish I had time to automate this piece but it's the best way I can scale the larger tables down until I have time to write out some jquery to do it for me. The current method works well.. if I remember to do it..  Cheesy
It looks good now. Thumbs up.
3727  Other / Meta / Re: Bitcointalk mass hacking... Look at seclog now! on: January 05, 2019, 03:36:10 AM
"Are there steps to see full data in the seclog page or at least several options like the last week/ last month/ last quarter, and so on ?"
Maybe if theymos implement sorting functions there, but I guess it will affect the forum's speed as it will load such immense data from server.

My account was hacked for few secs daaamn yeah they changed my password , luckily there's notification to my email and quickly i changed the bctalk account password and secured everything back!

Few moments later I figure out what the heck is happening with my account as far as I know I am using very unique password , then i randomly look at the seclog page ... the result is crazy!
There's nothing to do about it, woke up status  is different from password changed.
3728  Other / Meta / Re: New BPIP report on Bitcointalk.org posts that are "merited the most times" on: January 05, 2019, 03:24:45 AM
Seems there's something wrong with the table list in mobile mode as the time of visit, or it's just on me but it's okay in desktop mode.

3729  Economy / Speculation / Re: BITCOIN in 2029 on: January 04, 2019, 07:23:36 PM
Things are only sure
  • Mining reward is only 1.5625 BTC on that time, and that's not a huge figure and probably mining will not be profitable not unless if the price will remain in 5 digits, >20k.

But I expect,
  • All shops accept bitcoin as a payment means.
  • Lightning payment will be used to all merchants accepting btc--to any local or online shop.
  • Less sh*tcoins
  • I have my own Lambo once it reached back in 20k or much better if much higher. Grin
3730  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Wex.nz situation on: January 04, 2019, 07:03:49 PM
Just want to post this thread about that exchange mentioned above https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5092631.0 though never tried to use them or what, clearly I will stay away with that exchange for goodness sake.
3731  Local / Pilipinas / Re: May tax ba ang Cryptocurrency? on: January 04, 2019, 06:09:13 PM
If you're talking sa mga crypto business/establishments na naka based dito sa bansa like exchanges then its a big YES, not unless if they're outlaws. Pero if related sa mga freelancer na nag a'accept ng crypto payment or traders, siguro wala pang exact bill para diyan so it's a NO.

matanong ko lang, wala pa bang kumatok sa mga bahay sa inyo ayon sa usaping ito? I mean tax evasion.
Panu nila malalaman na you're a freelancer who work with crypto if wala kang record/registered papers sa kanila na nag gaganyan ka? Kung meron mang taong gumagawa ng ganyan maybe it's some culprit na alam location mo and alam nila na you are in this industry, that's why mag ingat-ingat din tayo when sharing personal info online.
3732  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: send or not send? using bitpay on: January 04, 2019, 05:52:37 PM
Thank you for clarification, I understend now. Well, I try to pay agen and agen but I get this screen:

https://i.imgur.com/MiElNsf.png

and when I click on "Copy paymanet URL" I get this:

bitcoin:?r=https://bitpay.com/i/BHjFJVqFN77cLnay9D5QU8

How do I pay from here?

When I click "Open in wallet" I open my bitpay wallet and it makes me pay in my own wallet like before

So how do I pay in this case?
Wait, so what actually are you trying to do? :bit confused:

Does the payment request (Invoice Page URL) made by you? or from some online shop you're trying to pay?

If it's made by you, why you have to pay for it?

And if it's from some third parties like a shop then it's normal and you should proceed.
3733  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: send or not send? using bitpay on: January 03, 2019, 05:54:09 PM
The transaction id is:
e71d11d858438f73c13712ecef82f673c5af917d69d6269791ef6ea59cd4ecbd

This is a print screen with the type of the reciver walle (is not this one, I generate a new one for example)
https://i.imgur.com/MiElNsf.png

I install bitpay on windows, I click "Open in wallet", open in bitpay and I process the payment.

Okay so you just send your btc to your own wallet address, right? by the label on your first screenshot Moved.

It just seems that your wallet address 17b8DJdfA4SLALDrwmRw6W2MtNjsbxyR6e has 0.23410000 BTC then you send the 0.00581535 BTC to your own wallet address 1G6kr3D68VwmkhRU8NjqxjBPgKLxCb73dv and the change (0.22826 BTC) goes here 1QAFEkZbDRnTRSCtDzE2r5aLaCc7C62tbY , that's why your total funds are now 0.234075 BTC because the fee of 0.00002465 BTC was deducted on the transaction.

And you're right it was sent, and you received it, but that's a waste of funds if you only sending your funds to your own wallet address.

I wonder why if there's no warning alert on bitpay that you're sending to your own wallet address, or you just ignore it.  Undecided
3734  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: send or not send? using bitpay on: January 03, 2019, 08:22:43 AM
Check the wallet address if correct coz 6+ confirmation will totally get through.

If yes, then tell us if what kind of wallet did the receiver used or what wallet he/she's using, coz for some reason it will be a wallet synchronizing issue.
3735  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-01-02] HitBTC freezes customer funds before proof of keys event on: January 03, 2019, 06:20:12 AM
HitBTC, a popular cryptocurrency exchange,
No they're not.

HitBTC’s account suspensions began on December 31, 2018,
As far as I remember, it happens months ago even not just in december. I saw many threads in this forum, twitter, and reddits about this type if scheme of hitbtc.

But seriously, this is not new to that exchange, there are lots of reports related to this, even lost funds without any notification and a breached 2fa of some accounts there.
People should stop using this exchange if they care for their money.
3736  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Floyd Mayweather set for New Year's Eve fight in Japan on: January 03, 2019, 04:52:19 AM
Actually it is said that Mayweather didn't make 9 millions but ten times that because of PPV shares he received.
Not bad for 2 minutes of sparring.

If that is true then Mayweather really pulls the best scam in sporting history hehehe. So thats $ 90 million without hard work and training in contrast to other sporting personalities like in NBA basketball which players make that kind of money in like 5 -10 years.
AFAIK he's one of the highest paid actors in sports, I mean athletes or maybe he's the #1. So that figure might be true.

The MMA experience of Tenshin Nasukawa is useless since its boxing rules. I was surprised that the fight was uploaded in Youtube after reading the rules set by Floyd, I thought the fight will not be uploaded since there's a media black out, I guess there's a change of plans and someone again earned from doing this.
Floyd - 1
Boxing and MMA Fans - 0
Of course it will be uploaded as Floyd wins, and the fight is actually with some kind of actor.

And how come a non-boxer will do boxing, while Floyd is one of the best in that industry, of course the out come is obvious.
3737  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Can't install BitPay mobile wallet on: January 03, 2019, 03:11:15 AM
You can download the earlier version of bitpay in their official github instead. As it's related to your security don't ever any sources besides bitpay as it may have any malwares that can steal information worst if it your funds with in the app or even with your device.
3738  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Overview of Bitcointalk Designers(Signature,Avatar, etc) Last Update: 1-Dec-2018 on: January 02, 2019, 05:04:16 AM
Bumping for visibility.

3739  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happened to ViaBTC? on: January 02, 2019, 05:01:54 AM
It's quite common by the way if you have an internet problem while loading a webpage.
My guess it's not a connection problem from any user who browses the site but a browser's problem or just from viabtc's frontend website.
