3721  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BREAKING: Square & Twitter's Boss, Jack Dorsey buys $50M worth of Bitcoin. on: October 08, 2020, 03:06:44 PM
I don't think the bad news is going to be that impactful knowing that in order to be manipulative, you should have incredibly enormous stacks of Bitcoin, and I doubt that companies that are investing in Bitcoin would collude together for their benefit. It defeats their initial goal in which thinking Bitcoin is the currency of the future.

I do believe that when companies start doing something like this, it's going to get more people in and learn more about it. It's going to be beneficial for everyone, and as long as they don't get scammed, Bitcoin is going to the moon. Wink

With Square's Cash App, it's going to be more impactful for them. That's the excellent news for use crypto enthusiasts.
3722  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Now Bounty Program totally worth less !! 90% Bounties are scam on: October 08, 2020, 07:08:36 AM
I have a question for Bounty Hunters.

If the reward of the bounty is their tokens, isn't it considered a payment to your hard work?

I know that some bounties and projects are a scam, but it's the bounty hunters' fault for participating in the project in the first place. For their liquidity is to be determined upon acceptance of the token of the exchange, then it will have value. There are still tokens, but most of the time, it's just worth zero.

Personal information is more important than giving your documents in exchange for a small reward.
3723  Economy / Economics / Re: rich people super rich are taking loans now why? what it means ? on: October 08, 2020, 03:18:27 AM
Just like what The Pharmacist said, they invest it in another asset. They are letting their money work for it. And banks also need people to take loans because how will they earn more with what they have? I know they don't want to print out more money and to flood the market as well. To make it look more comfortable for you, I will list things below that could help you.
  • Repay other debts
  • Invest in businesses
  • Cheap Assets caused by the Pandemic

And in the article you showed here, there's an interesting quote as well.

"We have more options than you would expect at this stage of the cycle."

The rich are taking this to their advantage to increase their value further and have more properties, I guess. I think you should comprehend the article more and see that you could get all the answers from there. If you think about it, they are just making more money to buy "discounted" assets caused by the pandemic by borrowing money. Let the money work for you as they say.
3724  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Bitcoin Photography Story in London/ UK on: October 08, 2020, 02:01:36 AM
Is this something to be like how photography at weddings is being done? Like from start to finish? Maybe you could find businesses that are utilizing Bitcoin, just like what franky1 said, and then form a timeline of that kind of business. From the Alpha phase to the Omega phase style of the company. Make sure to cover it front and back with that. Just an idea, lol.

Maybe you could make this further a package for your repertoire, like forming a story of the background of businesses, unless you are doing it already.
3725  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BEWARE OF THESE SCAMS!! on: October 07, 2020, 02:14:44 PM
Thanks for sharing. It's a great spreadsheet you have there. For all the ones who are interested in checking the spreadsheet, you can see there that the scammers are you reusing addresses in the attempt to not getting your tokens sold in any way.

More and more people are getting exposed to what DeFi is, and it’s A risk to participate in. I think in every goal that we have and every aspect that we choose to put our money in, you should know what it is beforehand And becoming more invested in it.

3726  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People Say btc is Not ponzi but its look like ponzi on: October 07, 2020, 10:45:19 AM
So you are talking about the liquidity and the volume of the trading in an exchange? just because people invest in exchanges and buying bitcoin it doesn’t mean automatically that they are going to receive that new investor money. It is nowhere near that and I think you have the wrong idea of Ponzi itself.

If you consider that as a Ponzi, then the stock markets as well is a Ponzi? As far as I know it’s the people who make it into a Ponzi and using it as the currency of exchange.
3727  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DeFi - The Scam Engine? on: October 06, 2020, 04:18:56 PM
I think it’s another excuse for collecting funding again. Just like previously known ICO, then come to IEO, and right now, it's DeFi. It's basically a cycle. I wouldn't be surprised if something like CBDC’s would be in front of digital currencies.

We all say this, but in the back of our minds, wouldn't you have like to ride those waves? I'm honestly envious of those who had ridden the wave but sad for those who have bought at the top.

If the DeFi hype is gone, I think it would come crashing down, for sure. Remember that market = people, and when people lose interest, market value loses as well.
3728  Economy / Economics / Re: I lost my job, how about you guys? on: October 06, 2020, 02:23:00 PM
I hope you have found something to cover your expenses continuously. It sucks the situation now. I'm anxious about the future Just because of this situation and what it has led to until now. It’s a crazy thing knowing that millions of people are affected, and I think it’s the ruling powers in the country that should take over totally. With all the businesses being down and people going hungry, I’m afraid of what people would do to survive. The human brain and will can be something else when it requires to be. Do you think the economy can survive with this in mind?
3729  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The digital Yuan is almost a fact on: October 06, 2020, 09:51:31 AM
Having 3.3 million transactions already with this Digital Yuan means it can really be a game-changer. It should be noted that the European Central Bank is also dabbling with that knowing that the digital euro is underway as well. [1]. We should all be hopeful that a significant digital currency would be issuing something accepted by everyone and is trusted. I want this to be Bitcoin, but I'm not sure how countries and governments would like that in general.
3730  Economy / Economics / Re: Australia to Spend $575M on Tech Including Blockchain to Boost Pandemic Recovery on: October 06, 2020, 08:58:31 AM
Those regulated barriers for economic recovery probably need that upgrading. It's not that much, but it still worth exploring. Australia has stepped up when it comes to investing in new technologies that and there is no denying that crypto has come a long way from before. I hope the other countries step up and follow it in a way that could benefit the citizens with them. The most important thing is that the citizens would get to benefit from that budget.

We all aim for recovery, and maybe crypto is the key. Let's see.

3732  Economy / Gambling / Re: LIVE - Playing Dice on Online Casino with Software Bot! on: October 06, 2020, 06:23:26 AM
I guess the reason is if there is someone upset or being annoyed because didn't work and report their channel, it could be that is the reason.
It’s possible, but I don’t think it’s like that. I think you need to buy the script first Before you can really try it out. Maybe it’s just illegal to show live gambling in the first place. I found some links regarding about their rules in twitch that they are not allowed to be live for more than 30 minutes.

https://tabletcasinos.ca/blog/2019/12/18/twitch-law-gambling/

However, upon seeing the live streaming video, it seems interested. I will try to understand the whole thing.
If you know Seuntjie bot, then you would have an easier time understanding it. It still is script dependent.
3733  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Read the rules and don't post plagiarised content. on: October 06, 2020, 05:17:28 AM
In plagiarism, I view it like this. Imagine it this way, someone copied your life's work and just made it their own, and it's the same replica, no nothing, no reference, not cited, no anything. Direct copy and paste. Wouldn't you get hurt by that? Knowing they just stole your work without any permission? I wouldn't be happy with that because the hours I have put in are just minutes for them, and they didn't even break any sweat. These ethics apply to everything, whether in the forum, scientific articles, journals, news, inventions, etc. It's bad.

I imagine this behavior could be reflected in how you are IRL. If your character and attitude are like that, taking shortcuts, it's probably the same in the forum as well. I like how you showed the beginners what your future could be if everything is proper with that. Once you have taken a shortcut, then it's down the pole you go.
3734  Economy / Economics / Re: Stocks fall down due to trump catching the virus on: October 06, 2020, 03:13:53 AM
What don’t I get why people would stop investing or pulling out their money within stocks in the United States just because their leader contracted the virus? I think it wouldn’t affect the outcome or efficiency of the companies that are invested upon, but yet prices still went down?

If the investors were always checking up on the leader's well-being, then I think they would have pulled out earlier or something like that. With all the news regarding Trump. Don’t you think so?

Trump's health is very fundamental to the world economy, especially for the investment world in America.
Being the leader of the united states Is definitely essential to the stock prices that are found in their territory. Because it is dependent on the government in what they impose towards their rules with companies.
3735  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: During The Last U.S Presidential Debate Bitcoin Price Was Only $630 on: October 05, 2020, 02:24:17 PM
Imagine after four years, the price has gone up so much. I believe that the debate in 2016 has nothing to do with the price, it just so happens to be volatility. It's just making it as an event that could be aligned with the price and for me it's just a coincidence. You could say it's definitely worth more now.

I just want to say I don't think the first presidential debate was effective because of the way they behaved. Even the crypto community is not amused.

“People are more embarrassed by Trump’s lack of debate decorum than by the thousands more civilians murdered by Obama,” tweeted Voorhees, CEO of crypto exchange ShapeShift, adding that “ if you want to win over the public, your actions matter far less than your charisma. Speak eloquently and you can get away with murder.”
3736  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Automated Trading Challenge - Start with $1000 on: October 05, 2020, 06:13:44 AM
Sorry that it took quite a while to update this but I stopped the bot and withdrew the funds because of an unforeseen event IRL. I really needed the money for personal reasons. I thank you all for the support but for now I stopped it because of funding reasons. I will continue this again when I have enough capital again.

I took Pffrt's question as referring to trading bots in general and not specifically Gunbot. I don't think all trading bots are tested as rigorously as others so there's always that risk of bugs and other errors from the developers end. Not all trading bots have the same level of support when issues occur. The risk may be minimal but it's still there.
I understand and there are still a lot to cover but it's all in the traders hands as well on how they will let the bot handle their trading.

I'd say, good luck with this. I'm still watching your update and I hope I saw progress before I will be using a bot and as what you've said, don't be shy to approach you.
Thanks for the good luck. For the next experiment it would be best. Right now, I need the funds for something else.
3737  Economy / Gambling / Re: LIVE - Playing Dice on Online Casino with Software Bot! on: October 05, 2020, 04:47:15 AM
I have seen a couple of YouTube Channels that are related to Dice bots live-streaming their performance. I'm not sure what they could make of it, but it shows excellent promising scripts that could make you money. It's always a risk, but if you are lucky, you can get probably get it.

I also see that their channels get taken down. It's probably because of the gambling aspect of the channel? Anyways, everyone seems to get on Twitch and show anything that you could do. Great platform overall.
3738  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: everything can happen on bitvest on: October 05, 2020, 02:01:42 AM
Not bad, OP. It's a win that you would remember for years to come. Turning cents into $230 (as of the time of this posting) is something to celebrate upon, IMO. Don't be so caught up with that too. You might get addicted trying to replicate what you did.

Maybe you could show us what you have gotten with that win? Lol. I remember people telling me that if you have won something in gambling, you should spend it right away. Don't keep that money or something. It has something to do with how you got the money.
3739  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Favorite gamemodes on: October 05, 2020, 01:42:01 AM
This is maybe the first time I see someone from bitcointalk to play monopoly! It's interesting game, I saw people winning a lot of money with small bets! I can't say I played monopoly a lot, maybe few times with some small bets, interesting game definitely!
It's one of the featured games in Roobet so I believe it's a great game for sure. Whenever it reaches the dice rolls, oh man I can't wait to see the outcome because you will never know what it's going to show next and how high the multiplier would be. It's really fun.

My favorite game mode is when I sit in my comfortable chair, of course before that I organize drinks and snacks, I turn on computers and it's how I start my gambling session!
You are definitely talking about your environment when gaming, not the game mode itself. Lol. Anyway, I don't think you have played monopoly in Roobet.
