3721  Other / Archival / Re: Betnomi 🏆 Truly Decentralized Betting/Gambling Platform 🏆 on: April 10, 2020, 08:43:21 AM
I was reading through the post to understand why you call yours "truly decentralized" but found nothing.
How about Provable fair by the way? You didn't mention that and I assume a truly decentralized betting platform should have it.
What does "coefficient" in the game mean?
3722  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Average Developer Activity in Last 90d on: April 10, 2020, 08:26:12 AM
Interesting.
Seems only three cryptocoins have Market Cap that are higher than Developers Activities(Ethereum, EOS & Stellar). What could this mean then?
Do you factor in the developers of Ethereum, EOS (and probably stellar) dapps or just core developers of the three cryptocurrencies?
3723  Other / Off-topic / Re: I'm starting to enjoy the lockdown on: April 10, 2020, 07:59:53 AM
Well, more or less same picture in the whole world. After 19 days I went to the market to buy some urgent medicine. I saw only medicine Shops are open in the market and a few people selling green vegetables on the roadside.

I saw only fear and panic in every human eye. At first I thought everyone might be scared of the Corona virus. But after a while I realized that they were more afraid of the police than they were afraid of the virus.

Anyway I am also enjoying lockdown. There is no work to do. I can spent more time with my family now, which is not possible a few days back.
Have a nice day and enjoy the lockdown.
The hawkers and sidestores seem to be doing well while most parts of markets are closed.

I haven't really seen the police/security people bothering the hawkers and stores. I guess they are more focused on places that encourage crowds like markets, schools, church buildings, supermarkets/malls etc
I have observed alot of strange things that  contradict alot of things researchers/scientists probably believe. I wonder if the authorities are paying attention or are just too cautious. I think such important information should be gathered to understand what really happened. Unfortunately lots of people would rather be controlled by their own agendas than let others  see the full picture or the truth.
3724  Other / Off-topic / How a decentralized News Media should operate on: April 10, 2020, 06:12:01 AM
If a journalist is reporting something about China, USA, Afghanistan, Swaziland, Bitcoin, Decentralization, etc, members of the community (who could be anonymous & spread across the world) should be verifying the information given and rewarding or penalizing the journalist and his/her content.

Example:

A journalist publishes something like this:
"Country A sets to destroy country B with nuclear weapon on 3rd of July next year. Soldiers in country A are forcefully conscripting children to the army all over the county for the bombing mission."

It's expected that the journalist who published that ^ has good proofs and members of that community will completely go through the content to find what is true or false and reward the journalist accordingly. Every bit of the word in the publication matters. So it good to be sure of what you are writing as a journalist otherwise you get penalize frequently and ruin your reputation and possibly risk serious punishment.
Now, If a journalist is unsure about his content, it's better he/his let the readers know it's speculations/guesses rather than writing like he has all the facts. No one will penalized him for guessing innocently.

✳Check out my article on decentralized voting for more on proper reward and punishment: [A more proper way to vote in decentralized communities

3725  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will religion save you? on: April 09, 2020, 02:55:19 PM
Believing in the One True GOD will save you.

. Whatever anyone is teaching you must align with the Word of GOD perfectly. otherwise becareful of such teachings & the teacher. He/she could well be what the scripture calls false prophets/teachers. "by their fruits (fruits = good/bad behaviors) you shall know them. A true prophet/teacher will never (knowingly) break GOD's law but the false ones will.

GOD is real my friends and HE alone saves. Never really took my faith very seriously until HE spoke to me directly in clear "voice". I was totally shocked and never understood why he choose to speak to insignificant me.
3726  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is your favourite sport and why? on: April 09, 2020, 02:23:58 PM
Swimming because I don't like sweat  Grin

Swimming is probably one of my favorite too. But I don't compete too much in it. I am not sure I can swim very well. I just enjoy emersing myself in water. The only competition i think I can do really well is holding my breath under water for a long time.. . I just calm myself under water back then and forgot I even exist... Or I go into deep hibernation/meditation/imagination to distract myself from the danger of being under water without breathing. Works great for me. Not recommended to any kind of person though.
3727  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are you involved with Crypto? on: April 09, 2020, 10:36:32 AM
Okay, why i am involving in cryptocurrency is simple, it is because i want to make some profit.
The way to making profit is varies, usually trading is the most simple, we can trade crypto coins anywhere.
Other way is by investing and trusting on new crypto projects, which has more risk than trading i think.

If you are only about the profit while ignoring the principles that make the profit possible and sustainable then you are not doing it the right way. The principles is way more important to me otherwise I will probably be with alot of crypto money that comes from unethical/immoral and anti-decentralization/anti-crypto-principle sources

The organization, MiPasa emphasized that its data analysis and privacy tools will not collect any personal information of any users, just to remind users if someone around them is infected with the new crown.

In my opinion, It should be "cannot collect " not "will not collect". A truely decentralized tech should be built in such a way that rules or principles can't be broken without the breakers(even a sophisticated lawless one) getting caught and punished. You don't promise, you hard code it into the system.
If something good needs to be done that violate the law, the community should know about it and your activities should be immutable for future use/reference by the community.

Not sure I saw that the other time I was reading and commenting on this thread.
I don't think attacking, killing and stealing from innocent people should be encouraged in any good game. People who do that should be punished instead.
3730  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How did Mr. Satoshi Nakamoto get inspiration about developing Bitcoins? on: April 09, 2020, 07:50:37 AM
He most likely understood how a proper currency should be ran. A major crisis probably pushed him to implement or try out his idea. Lots of people likely have real solutions to alot of things but keep it in their minds (or somewhere) until there is great need to implement the ideas.
Bitcoin (in it's decentralized state) solve alot of difficult challenges only few people are probably aware of.  There is one particular challenge it solved I am very exited about. I think keeping it in the mind until it is needed is probably a good idea.

The payouts from crypto games aren't that huge, it's like claiming faucets to me, infact few faucets are just better, for example freebitco.in
Yup, you nailed it.

If you are looking for a pastime and you want to spend your time playing while taking some incentives with those games, that's a good deal. But anyway, there's this list that I've looked for you.

Blockchain Games 2020: 15+ Best Crypto Games Reviewed

Nice one, I mean the link!
I find the Megacryptopolis really interesting and safer. My only concern with such game is how members would determine what city is the best and more valuable. I guess the best should be those that can withstand all kinds of attacks and dangers thrown at them. They're the cities that should be  value more. And everything the cities are made of should be easily replicable in real world

And the cities(the best ones) shouldn't be too expensive to build. Should be fairly easy for anyone to build. I think a city that is to move around anywhere in the world(good feature of decentralization) will do great.

3733  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Understanding Bitcoin Cash SV split on: April 09, 2020, 06:37:43 AM
When bsv forked off from bch, it didn’t add replay protection. What this means is that, any transaction created in one blockchain, would be mirrored in the order. In order to prevent this from constantly happening, you’ll have to split the bsv from the bch before you can use it properly.

This is even more technical, how does a layman split this himself? what I understand then was that some wallet and exchanges supported this split while some were supporting BCHABC.

You probably should ask bch community here:
https://memo.cash/all. That is where you will likely get a quick and satisfactory answer. Rickorick gave you a good answer, I think.
You should check out their community if you want the technical aspect answered to your sanctification: https://memo.cash/all

the Bisq software did not verify that this donation address was the correct one before signing & publishing the time-locked payout transaction.

Looks like the above statement is one of their major mistakes. They should have thoroughly audited the software before releasing it for serious transactions. That is a serious security flaw that shouldn't have been missed.
Besides I wonder how the hacker was able to change the default fallback address mentioned in the article just like that.
3735  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How is BCH∙BSV’s upcoming halving event affecting its prices? on: April 08, 2020, 02:44:28 PM
I guess the bch already happened today. Saw some discussions (and mild celebration) about halving on the cryptocurrency forum or something. Found the halving activity by accident while going through the forum. I already forgot that both coins will be halving at almost thesame time. I wait to see how well that does on the price.
3736  Other / Off-topic / How do you explain the old developing the antibodies while the young don't on: April 08, 2020, 10:30:22 AM
Natural selection or GOD fighting for them when societies are abandoning them or planning to sacrifice them? Be careful what you wish for others. The ALMIGHTY, our CREATOR knows all our thoughts.

3737  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will only the best survive? on: April 08, 2020, 10:19:51 AM
Depends on what you think makes a cryptocoin the best. The best cryptocoin has to be really good without sacrificing decentralization, anonymity/privacy, immutablity, safety/security, censorship resistant, trustless/permissionless transaction, transparency, etc.
I wonder why after writing a nice post you end up picking XEL and ADA without telling us why you think they are the best.
3738  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: These Anti-KYC Stuffs Tiring Non-Techies Up on: April 08, 2020, 09:09:36 AM
Well, I think majority will always choose the easy way. But always bear in mind that the easy ways always have dangerous consequences. So be careful what you go for. Nobody stops you from using the current kyc. It's your choice. The minority who are cautious know the risk and would rather go for a safer kyc when it becomes available.

Is words in quote(in English) the exact translation from his Spanish post to English? I was wondering what the "mythical ones of years ago" mean. Old players or some ancient creatures? Lol.
I see he is/was a goalkeeper. Probably old keeper? Guess I have heard that name longtime ago.
3740  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🤑💸🎰CryptoWild - The Wildest Casino in Crypto 🎰💸🤑 on: April 08, 2020, 07:48:12 AM
Hi Alex,

Thanks for this. You are 100% correct. The complaint was a new player who refused KYC to withdraw his no deposit bonus win. The 0.001 BTC is still in his account.

What site was the kyc required from the player that left the negative feedback? This or you have other betting sites? If this current one requires kyc, I think you should state it clearly so players don't get disappointed and leave more negative feedbacks when they  are unable to withdraw their wins.
