3741  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin, I salute your final ATH. on: November 08, 2021, 07:20:42 PM
Bullish trending on weekly bars and closing above prior closing highs, its very likely to challenge the whole area of 60k prices I think.   Till it shows weakness its best not to keep trying to guess a top and just being a near prior high isnt bearish by itself, especially as dollar is constantly losing value to acknowledged excess inflation this year, probably next year etc.
Wait for 50 day average to be lost and other negative indications to move to that view.  My take is still fairly neutral for this year but I'm not standing in the way of a freight train with my estimations of where it stops.

3743  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price: with 12 years from nothing to maturity on: November 07, 2021, 11:59:29 PM
12 years is a long time, during this time the Dollar has not stayed as one but now is a lesser version of its previous self.   The US dollar of 2009 is not the US dollar of 2021, we dont live in that fixed value world anymore.

Here is another perspective to view, just daily back and forth and in sum total we are queueing up for the elevator expected to take us higher.   Whether this is an unrealistic expectation or the lift simply breaks down we don't know but seems for now time corrects our position more then price:

3745  Economy / Speculation / Re: How much would you like to see Bitcoin priced in 2022? on: November 07, 2021, 10:44:25 PM
In 2022 or any of the years before 2025 I think 100k is the obvious objective now.   10k to ten times as much might be a bit much so it could take some time to stabilize near there but thats the kind of scale in estimate or expectation.    Right now we are just moving in circles like whirling dervishes in the desert, waiting for sundown or something to change no rush or real fuss.
3746  Economy / Economics / Re: Why criminals prefer cash (Fiat) on top of crypto? on: November 07, 2021, 10:39:03 PM
Liquidity and closed exchange where as BTC has a ledger for everything.   Dollar is still far bigger, a whole suitcase of even moderate size bills is enough to cover most transactions and nobody will ever know the details of the seller or any parties who received or gave the money.   If BTC wasnt open ledger I think government would have opposed it far more then anything now, if anything its an aid to government in that respect despite being the alternate to officially issued dollars.

Think I feel sorry for Spirit who did perfectly well this year and yet the squad is thrown up in the air, not sure where they land.    Plus I like their logo/sticker, they better come back :p

I went for Navi -1.5 @1.82, I don't know how G2 would deal with Navi after seeing their quick series win against Gambit. I'm also thinking of going for the round handicap but it felt too risky compared to the map handicap.
3.2x odds if I predict 2-1 to Navi,  has to be worth something of a sidebet.   Navi odds equate to over 80%   ok they probably do win but Im not a fan of throwing alot on there just to get a little back.   I'd rather try and predict the number of maps, Gambit collapsed a little surely G2 can put up more of a fight.

'Iron' Mike claims he won't receive a penny for his boxing comeback, insisting his purse will be donated to charity.

"It's going to be for various charities," he told TMZ Sports.
There are all sorts of side deals and promotions for his other company that might be of benefit to him also.   Donating to charity has quite a large incentive due to tax reasons, if you are on the top tier of taxes you can end up having to give away half of anything you receive anyway.    Could be the pay deal is completely true and a smart move in multiple ways that will benefit him long term also.
3749  Economy / Speculation / Re: How far can bitcoin price correction go? on: November 07, 2021, 03:49:21 AM
I have drawn in some idea for a declining pattern over the last few days or so but I dont believe it has much strength to it and we remain merely range bound around 60k area.  If we were to lose 59k it might move further and require confirmation lower but so far sideways is neither negative or positive in indication.

Momentum has us once again above a weekly average and so not effecting any regular decline for the end to this weekly bar.   My guess is positive action though its sideways up close
3750  Economy / Speculation / Re: [Poll] If this happens, is it time to sell your Bitcoin? on: November 07, 2021, 02:57:51 AM
Dont judge price by the peaks, its unreliable and without more to guide it then froth and hype.   What should determine various strategies is the pattern in the lowest pricing and the regularity of those gains, its more likely to be accurate in determining higher or lower.   Before the 2020 selloff we made a new high and also a pattern of gains faltered showing weakness, the new high was easy to throw off alot of people and encourage them to think we were still ok but there were cracks showing.  I hope I always pay attention to how we proceed in the higher lows accumulating, if we lose that I think we do have to retrace some ground.

Failing on a peak objective at some pre determined time is not bearish.   Sadly I can say from experience December selling is not going to be best, you could be selling into the lows for those years.   Theres more holidays in the western market during December, that has an effect and its not certain positive or negative.
3751  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ESports betting -CS:GO, DOTA 2, LOL, Valorant - Sportsbet.io discussion thread on: November 07, 2021, 01:55:09 AM
CSGO has been MIA for over a year anyhow, it is not a proper tournament if its not head to head in the same arena.   The game is different online without the low tolerances pro players perform with.

Navi just demolished the only team I thought could stop them.   G2 are good but the teams they just beat to get here weren't contenders to win overall, they just outperformed and then G2 put them back on the shelf.    Unless G2 have kept back strats for a few maps to beat Navi and Navi gets knocked off their horse and is in some disarray then G2 should not be winning.    I'll bet Navi so long as the odds dont get too far off, either team can still win in theory.
Its just that Gambit should have taken it to 3 maps but had no chance because Navi can confidently win on so many different maps, where is their weakness to exploit; G2 must find it.    A 2 map final will be disappointing, I'm willing to bet on 3 maps I think Gambit did falter in their performance some.
3752  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🕹️ Esports 🎮 Prediction & Discussion Thread on: November 06, 2021, 08:23:47 PM
Not sure why it showed me bad score line during the game, bad (live) bet there from me; guess I was distracted have to double check my data next time.  Good win by Navi anyway, completely dominant nobody should beat this now.
Heroic did great to take overtime very nearly the entire series from G2.   I did think they were a good underdog bet but not quite made it this time,

Does anyone have a recent interest payment showing, just wondering if its only me.    Last one that shows for me is :
RECENT INTEREST PAYMENTS
2021-11-03

After that it doesnt give a read out, I approximated it has added the amounts for each day but normally it would update the text log and say so.   Only thing that changed recently was I was due slightly more interest from going up a bit on premium bonus.   Slight bug perhaps or Im just being fussy,  guess I'll add it up manually to see it is adding the interest to check and compare.
3754  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: November 05, 2021, 10:08:52 PM
You can make a mistake and still correct to an overall gain.  The price in long term I think will rise but it would be characteristic to rise only greatly after testing support further down.   Support typically will be checked as a foothold during a move upwards, often on news we can see the price spike both up and down.   It still seems possible there is an opportunity to buy lower even if we resolve upwards.

95.95 on Dollar index 1st March 2020 and also relevant later that year.   Unless dollar does recover and trade above that point I'm not especially bearish, they continue to dilute dollar value consistently while making noises as if being careful in a policy to reduce inflation.

Is Gambit the only team that can challenge Navi now.    I see its just them and Big who list as recent losses for Navi.    All I did was put down 3 maps for Vitality but I see they on purpose chose Dust2 vs Navi, arrogant seems like or blind optimism.    Now Vitality must be Nuke gods which they did win vs Astralis but Navi chose Nuke for a reason and dust2 is a no reason aim map poor choice imo.   Shox and co. are old school greats but Navi seem like fresh out of the box not willing to stop for anyone
3756  Economy / Speculation / Re: 60k price recovery achieved on: November 05, 2021, 07:53:16 PM
We seem to be wavering, some call it consolidation and so expect future strength but I'm not sure continually sideways cant resolve downwards, test a lower price for support.   We are below the weekly average now, I'm not clear on the range we might be in as I would not change my longer term stance until we breach something like 50k or the 50 day average.

59k here is the monthly average and also I remember this being some significant price previously.   Perhaps a reasonable target for those lower price action, mostly we seem stuck to prices about 60.5k to 63k
3757  Economy / Economics / Re: Miami Mayor Will Allow Employee salaries in Bitcoin on: November 05, 2021, 06:15:17 AM
Everyone should be able to elect to arrange a pension in some percentage of Bitcoin allocated for the future.

What surprises me here is nobody cares the New York mayor is now announcing he will be paid in Bitcoin and will change the whole cities economy to integrate with Bitcoin.  This is news bigger then El Salvador to me due to the massive amount of commerce potential flowing through NYC every day, its a center of business for the entire country.   I take it as very bullish or are the hands of the Mayor tied as to real change.
3758  Economy / Economics / Re: Legalising would give a chance to Latin America on: November 05, 2021, 06:09:03 AM
The people who might benefit most would be the consumers due to all the unaccounted for negatives that are coming with it.   Supplied normally as any other drug you reduce the damage to society and increase information as to the true cost of usage.  The drug once legalized is just another way to distort your body in some way which we already have legally to some extent.  People would view it differently if legal then if something special pulled out, banned for being too good at its effect.
If you take a drug the user must constantly struggle to maintain levels in their blood stream while the body is rejecting and throwing it out as a poison, you cant work or do much else as you are involved with the constant task of replacing or balancing the chemical effect it has.   Most drugs are easy to make and supply, banning them just alters the distribution outside known paths where it can be controlled and accounted for in its side effects.

Even with a ticket every day it will take alot of luck to take home the prize.   Golden tickets are given alongside betting, some high roller bettor people do receive these every day like the rest of us might be getting weekly lottery tickets.   I dont expect to win but its a nice bonus
But, the selection has been horrible for a while, this has been talked for a while, iphone 11? I mean we had 12 for a long time now and now we even have 13, and yet it is still 11. I can give more examples but it has been talked endlessly so far.

I do agree they would be better off altering the prize text to 13 as everyone always wants the latest thing and sometimes even these brands are not available easily obtainable for any price so even more elusive.   However I think its been said the prize is paid immediately in BTC value so those details may not be as relevant as you imagine.

Taking it to 3 maps was a good job, I hope they get congratulated for doing so well.
Hard to call as G2 have been flawless in PGL so far.
I was all wrong on Nip match, I thought they'd easily take a map but G2 never let up as you said I underestimated them as just 'good'.    When G2 backed off stopping a bomb plant with pistols I took that as weakness (saving pistols is conservative) in not attempting the wild retake chance but seems they are so careful by the book and with combination of top tier skill that could be enough to challenge anyone.
On that basis I'll rate G2 over Heroic in their next match but surely its 3 maps.
