I don't think Real Madrid will be the best candidate for La Liga trophy. They still rely too much on old players: Casemiro, Modric, Kroos, Benzema, Marcelo. Those players shown well in the season 2020 - 2021 but I don't know they will be able to play as good as that in the new season.
Alaba need time to connect with other defenders and if Varane leaves the club, Alaba can not fix that hole.

Barcelona and Atletico Madrid look to be better candidates and I think Barcelona will be improved more in the second season of Koeman and with some good transfers.
