AC Milan are the better side so far in the game, and now early in 2nd half, they were very close to doubling their advantage, with Patricio clearly beaten already but the goal post bar to the rescue.

I don't see Roma getting back on level terms here, except of course if something odd happens. I'd take a bet of AC Milan scoring at least a goal more here.

So far (until the 70th minute), AC Milan has dominated the game from all sides except for shots on target. From the side of shots on target we can see that AS Roma have more desire to score goals at this time, the reason is clear that because they are 1 goal down, the game has about 20 minutes remaining before the end, and I have made a new bet for under 3.5 goals, I hope no more goals are created.

I hope you your bet does win, but the chances in my opinion, are slim. As Roma are now down to 10 men and the resulting freekick from Florenzi almost went in, but the crossbar to the rescue yet again for the second time.

With Roma a man down, I'm expecting AC Milan to pose more goal threat, but we'll see.

EDIT: AC Milan have just scored their 3rd goal, It's been coming all along imo.
3742  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: January 06, 2022, 06:54:46 PM

The first half of the AS Roma Vs AC Milan match ended with a temporary score of 2 - 1, 2 AC Milan goals were scored by Giroud from a penalty kick and Junior Messias in the 18th minute, while AS Roma's goal was scored by Tammy Abraham in the 40th minute.

What do you think? Can AS Roma Beat AC Milan or AC Milan will increase their lead by scoring more goals?

Two underhanded teams will face off later. Liliard is out for abdominal injury while Butler ruled out for ankle injury. These are the types of games that's really unpredictable but I'm still betting on Heat to win. It's too risky to bet on handicap.

If I were you I would have gone with the Heat too (I actually a bet on them. With Jimmy Butler out, I still believe the Heat have number of players the really can count on.

Who's waiting for this wonderful day of NBA?

Klay Thompson Could Make His Awaited Return on January 9
What can we expect on the first day of his return?

Will he be inserted in the starters right away? or will he earn a lot of minutes in his first game?

Maybe we could really see him playing as of their Cleveland game in a few days only. I have really missed watching him. He is just a pure shooting guard. The best thing he does is to score so many two or three-pointers. Stephen Curry has tried to carry the team in the absence of Thompson. And he has been successful most of the time also. But this can't go on like this all the time. By Thompson's joining the team finally, I expect GSW to be much stronger and definitely one of the biggest candidates to be the champions also.

I'm really glad to see him return, this will make the Warriors unstoppable once again.. I don't expect to get too many minutes or even in the starting lineup, He should get minutes gradually over the next games in order to get 100% game fit.

In recent days, Coutinho has been rumored to be leaving Barcelona, and Arsenal are ready to sign the former Liverpool. The transfer to be made is as a loan. There is still no further information whether Arsenal are really serious about signing Coutinho or not. Liverpool public may not expect this deal to be reached.  Tongue

Coutinho might be a good for Arsenal, and I think he would be a better player at Arsenal than he is at Barcelona.

After signing Ferran Torres, I also think they'd need to leg of of some players on the high wages and have been a unimpressive at the club.

I was tempted to toss a bet on the Nets for tonight with Kyrie's return, but the risk/reward didn't seem to be there.  Still, this should be a great game and an easy win for the Nets with their returning PG.  Might be a good one to add to a parlay for the day.  I'm expecting the Nets to come out firing to send a message.  They don't want to lose their first game with Kyrie back.  I expect them to be rusty, but the sheer amount of talent should be enough.  Now if we can get the Lakers to start playing like they should the dream Finals matchup could still be a possibility.

Yeah, I'll also be taking the Brooklyn Nets again tonight.. I'll like to see Kyrie's return even the the -8.5 seem a bit to much against Pacers.

Brooklyn Nets -8.5

Milwaukee Buck -3.5 vs Raptors

Warriors -4.5 vs Dallas Mavericks

Those are picks for today..

GL Everyone.

I have the Phoenix Suns -6.5 vs New Orleans Pelicans, The Suns are missing a lot of players including Ayton, Crowder and McGee but Chris Paul and Devon Booker are available, and If they could beat the Hornets convincingly I believe they do so Pelicans.

GL Everyone!

I have Brooklyn Nets ML on a parlay and that's because I don't think they'll lose for the third consecutive time. I like how the Grizzlies have been performing lately, and they do stand a chance of covering the spread, tbh.

That's a safer bet compared to the spread. I also believe that Nets will try to win this game, they can't afford to have a 3 losing streak and expect that Durant will take over this game and Harden will just be the support.

Nets ML is at 1.43 at Sportsbet, that's with a price boost. I guess that's good enough.

We were wrong at the end of the day. And the woes continues for the Brooklyn Nets, despite having both Durant and James Harden on the floor.

I finished with 0/2 for the night, as the Hornets also lost to the Washington Wizards after coming back from the 1st Quarter deficit and kept the lead all through until the 4th.

Memphis Grizzlies is also one of the talk teams recently because of Ja Morant's big performance. On their 4 game winning streak, he has a total of 122 points which is considered as an All-Star level. If he will put up that kind of numbers on their upcoming game against the big favorites Brooklyn Nets, they have a chance to cover the handicap.

Memphis Grizzlies +6.5 should not be a problem even Harden and Durant will be on their usual game average.

Riding with them is a good idea, I mean riding while they are hot. In the past few games, we see the struggle of the Nets, so this is the battle of a hot team against a struggling team, the result would be unpredictable but it's a good decision to ride with the hot team. I'm with you on this. GL to us!

I'll be taking the Hornets ML vs Wizards tonight despite their complete flooring at the hands of the Phoenix Suns last night, It's back to back game for them but most of their starters had a lot of off minutes yesterday, since the game was off reach early enough into the game.
3752  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: January 03, 2022, 06:35:27 PM
Wolves really destroyed United in the first 45 minutes. They are unlucky not to be leading, United is too static in all zones of the pitch.
The Cavani - Ronaldo forward line is simply not giving enough defensively, and everything has already been said multiple times about United's centre midfield. It is clear as day again today that Matić - McTominay duo simply cannot create anything meaningful. That is especially the case when forwards don't drop back to get the ball, which neither Cavani or Ronaldo are doing.

It would be logical to expect Wolves to win this one but we've seen United get out of these games with 3 points too many times before. Still, I think they are awful today and I don't see them getting anything out of this one. Wolves to win in the 2nd.

I really can't blame the Man United forwards for the lack of threat against the Wolves defense, the midfield and the wing backs and aren't creating anything the entire look really short of ideas, I really don't get why van de Beek and Bruno Fernandes are on the bench, I'd rather have either or better still both players in the midfield than having four forwards most times isolated with no creativity or supply from Matic and McTominay.
3753  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: January 03, 2022, 05:54:22 PM
Lineup just came in and its the same formation from last time but this time there is a very surprising tweak in that formation. We have Phil Jones back again in United squad. I wonder what's Ralf Rangnick is thinking there. Wolves are already in form and Phil Jones starting today seems like United is taking a risk here. What happened to Lindelof, Maguire , Bailly?
Seeing Jones play today is the biggest surprise for me, i hope it will not be a terrible decision that will cause them the game, it will also be a great comeback for him tonight if he scores. The game just started and Greenwood is already showing that he is a better option to Rashford with very beautiful passes. Sancho has to do better with the ball. I am also happy seeing CR7 captaining the team, hopefully they get all three points tonight.

Both Baily Maguire are out injured, Even if Bailly wasn't out injured I doubt he would have been available for today's game due to the African Cup of Nations. It's not been a bad game so far and Sancho have a couple of perhaps half chances, but Wolves have been slightly on the front foot in terms of attempts and chances created.

If Man Utd are going to win this. it's likely going to be marginal.
3754  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: January 02, 2022, 06:50:26 PM
Still 2-2 at Chelsea - Liverpool at the moment. A spectacular first half, you don't often see that it is already 2-2. Looks like it's going to be 2-2 now. Too bad, now City are even further out on Liverpool in this way. But still some time to play, I think the team who score the 3rd goal will win the match.

The game was spectacular from start to finish, It was worth every minute spent watching, maybe not for Liverpool fans, for the fact that they had to give up a 2 goal lead, which felt like 3 points was already guaranteed after the second goal.

The only winner from the game would be Man City, as they go 10 points clear, although Liverpool could cut that to 8 points if they win their game at hand.
3755  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: January 02, 2022, 03:03:14 PM
The last time Getafe beat Real Madrid was in 2008, if they can do it again today, it will be a momentous day! In fact, I didn't expect it to happen, for the leader of the standings to lose to an outsider! Of course Real often score in the final minutes, let's see how it goes today...

A really unexpected result, but the biggest kudos to Getafe, they were very solid and spot on at every part of the pitch.

After the Getafe, I felt it was too early and Real Madrid would get back at least on level terms, but the Getafe team were discipline and almost Real Madrid on the break a number of times, and when off possession of the ball they were highly organized defensively.

I have a parlay on Bucks -10.5 + Bulls -1.5.
Bro, sorry about that. It's a hit for the Bucks but the Bulls won it with a buzzer-beater from Demar and the lead is only 1.

Yeah, too bad Bulls couldn't cover the spread.

I was able to get even with the Warriors ML and I was able to make the most of one of my freebets on SportsBet with a betbuilder on the Bulls

3757  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: January 01, 2022, 10:23:49 PM

Hot streaking Bulls vs Wizards - I'm taking the Bulls even away from home, -2.5.

Last game they didn't cover the spread but this time, I think -2.5 is even better so I'm with you here. I hope they are not tired yet and all the starters will play. DeRozan dropped 28 points against the Pacers, I'm sure he cannot score below 20 points so let's get this win.

I'll be joining the Bulls bandwagon tonight, I really do fancy the matchup and everything about the odds, The Bulls are missing a few players Caruso, and Ball most noticeably but I still believe they'll win the game.

I'll be putting a small buck on the line for the Warriors to win against Utah Jazz as well, I'd have love both teams to have a healthy roster to make the game more interesting.

A very bold prediction from LTU there  Grin. I'm guessing he wanted to go for 1-3. Looks like the game is going to end 0-0 anyway so probably nothing lost.

A most definitely was mistake but still a funny one btw, and he's lost one point 😏

Dafuq ref in Watford game. Joao Pedro was through on goal, yes he was getting his shirt pulled all the way, but ref whistled for the foul and freekick but this is one of the worst decisions I've ever seen recently in EPL. Pedro took the freekick and blasted high but damn, English league's generally really good at playing the advantage and yet this one let down.

Yes, it helped as I bet on Spurs but was watching as a neutral anyway and it's really not fun to see that ruin the game.

I guess it would have been a different story case if the player (Pedro) had stopped running or lost the ball, but the fact we play go on for quite a while these days for a potential foul/offside made the call look really out of place.

Wouldn't have made any difference for me btw, as my bet was on Tottenham to win at halftime.

Happy New Year! 🥂

massive game about to kick off but the thread is super quiet...gotta go easy on the drinking , fellas  Grin

City, Spurs and West Ham, all to win today, should be free points for everyone in the pool...or is anyone here brave enougn to predict an upset

Arsenal doesn't seem to think so. they even had some serious chances to score more goals.
they’ve been really surprised with good games in last time, and they’ve started so badly.

and of course, Happy New Year to all people in this pool.  Wink

Happy new year to all the players in this amazing pool. Also City just scored a goal from a penalty and now its 1-1. I really hope that Man City can win in this match 1-2 to start this year with a bang. Arsenal is playing really good so will be hard that City wins.

Arsenal got a red card and that will be difficult for them to keep the score level until the end of the game.It will most probably end with 1-3 for Manchester City if they will push it hard for the win but may also end like you say 1-2 if City just waits for the right timing to score and end the game to get the three points. They have also the luxury of ending the game in a draw as they are 8 points ahead of the second place but I doubt they will go for the draw.

I really don't know what to say, but that's because I didn't watch the game live. However, going about the starts and live commentary I think Arsenal could have been said to deserve more from the game, or the result could have easily been different without the red card, since Arsenal were portrayed to have played pretty well in the first half.

I'm not sure I'll be following the tournament with all dedication at least except if my favorite team is doing really well, I'll be rooting for the Nigerian Super Eagles of course! I'd like to Victorh Osimhen and Dennis Emmanuel both replicate their form in their respective leagues in the national side as well.
