There have been rumors about Sergio Ramos looking to join PSG after leaving Real Madrid as a free agent. But there is something could be complicating things for him as according to the French "Le10 Sport" website, Nasser Khelaifi president PSG, specifically wants to return Brazilian defender David Luiz to PSG,
Luiz announced his departure from Arsenal at the end of last season, while French league duo Marseille and Rennes showed interest in the player.
If PSG manages to convince Ramos to join their team, then it's a very good recruitment in my opinion, PSG have one goal, and it's basically to win the champions league, acquiring the services of Sergio Ramos who is a multiple time winner of the CL can give then an extra boost and motivation to go on and win the crown for the first time.

I can understand why PSG's president want's Luiz rather, he is an ex player and prolly had a very good relationship with the club owner during his stay in France, thus Nasser wants to compensate him in this way, imo, I think it's what's best for the club that needs it be done, and the best looks like signing Ramos instead of David Luiz.
3742  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it worth investing in coins you believe in? on: June 24, 2021, 08:38:37 PM
Similarly to the stock mentioned above, I do have the same kind of interest for coin Oracle ($ORA), it’s quite new so I don’t expect many to know it. I really believe in the platform they want to create (just for context it’s a NFT market for ideas, so you just buy others’ ideas) and I would like to see their project created and support them long term,
I just hope you're not shilling for this coin above (Oracle).
But btw, when investing in a project, what's of most importance should be it's long term sustainability, users should not go after 'lottery' coins cause they are as well pump and dump coins and you could prolly not escape the dump.

If you believe in the Bitcoin network like most of us do, then you'd prolly not think too much about altcoins because they are more for the short period of time, unlike Bitcoin that has a network that will function for a very long time.
3743  Economy / Economics / Re: Founders of South African Bitcoin exchange disappear after $3.6 billion 'hack' on: June 24, 2021, 05:37:28 PM
I mean going by the name of the exchange, scheme, site or whatever and the amount lost in question, it's pretty simple that quite a lot of people still need to put Investing in Bitcoin on hold and learn what the network is all about, and inculcate the security protocols so as to use them in matters relating to crypto.

Having said that, the people whose money make up the $3.6 billion dollars prolly invested more than they can afford to lose, they failed to be their own bank cause if you're not in possession of your keys, whoever is with it can take it at any given time, they were also gullible to believe the trick of not reporting the matter early enough so it wouldn't slow down the investigation process, that's pretty silly for anyone to believe. The victims went contrary to quite a lot of tenets inherent in the network to keep users safe, thus it's no surprise their funds is in the hands of some boys hiding somewhere, or who prolly themselves might have given it up to someone else.
3744  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: To diversify or not to diversify... on: June 24, 2021, 05:00:16 PM
...and then add some good other altcoins that will perform well like ADA, SOL , depending on the ones that their project structure interests you.
The thing is if OP wants to invest in the network on a long term basis, then I'd remove altcoins from the recommendation, altcoins are more or less short term projects and quite a lot of them are shitcoins/pump and dump and lottery coins, thus they are not coins you just buy and 'sit back', they'll prolly dump on you if you do that.

Ones own research remains a very important key to investing, OP should make research into other viable investment options that prolly doesn't include altcoins, crypto isn't the only investment resource available to investors and if you'd want to invest only in crypto, then it's actually not a bad idea if all your coins is Bitcoin.
3745  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If China is so bad for miners, why aren't they moving? on: June 23, 2021, 08:38:32 PM
The first thing that always comes up as an answer is cheap electricity, but is it that cheap and a good enough reason to do business in a country with an authoritarian regime and hostile attitude towards Bitcoin? The electricity rate in China is certainly lower than in most of the EU, but there seem to be tons of countries with even lower electricity rates, some of which seem like viable options for mining farms (Ukraine, Georgia, Turkey etc.). So why is China still the #1 country for miners if there are other options and if China isn't that great?
Prior to the ban, you could say the number of miners in China was high for one reason such as cheap electricity, but that's not the reason why mining is still done in China in a large scale. After having established any business, it becomes difficult to change location immediately, and that's also applicable to the mining industry, you do not just expect those miners to change their locations so easily, it'd take quite a lot of logistics, that'll by extension take some time.

And having said that, the miners could also be closely monitoring the situation, maybe to see if the Chinese government would change it's stand on their decision regarding mining in China.
3746  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Can we post and comment by following the one section? on: June 20, 2021, 03:24:10 PM
So if we do post and comment following only one section then what will be its effect on our account how will we have negative effect is there chances of our account being bann because of this?
It's actually more productive than not posting in only the few boards you like and understand what's being discussed in them, some sections of the forum have sterner rules on what's posted in it than others, the mining board for example is strict in filtering the content posted there and anything not up to standard would be deleted or moved, but unlike the beginners and help section, here mods are more lenient with users, especially newbies cause this is the area of the forum were they make enquiries, it could be of low quality, but it doesn't matter all the time.

Having said that, it's basically now up to the users to choose the section they know they can communicate, and stay there, the good thing is, not posting in a particular board doesn't stop you from reading there, so you can still read posts in the section you can't really communicate in as a result of insufficient knowledge, and thus, if there's an improvement in your knowledge, you can now try out those sections of the forum.
3747  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: June 20, 2021, 01:56:23 PM
@Coyster for Liverpool to challenge they’ll need to splash the funds in the transfer market, and so far they haven’t made any moves for any player’s. Lastly in my personal opinion only Tuchel is the only real competitor for Pep, but if he too let’s success gets to his head then he’ll suffer defeats.
I don't really think Liverpool have to spend too much if they are to challenge for the title, it looks that way cause they had quite a lot of players injured and all of them will be back before the beginning of next season, thus they just need to strengthen in one or two positions and they are all set to try and win back their crown from City.

Having said that, Chelsea still looks like the strongest contender to challenge City cause Tuchel has been doing very well, but then, we can't overlook United and Liverpool as they'll as well push hard for the title.
3748  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin be the biggest bubble economy in history? on: June 20, 2021, 12:40:34 PM
What do you think, do you think Bitcoin will become the biggest bubble economy in history?
Why would anyone even think Bitcoin would end up being a bubble, except you do not understand the Bitcoin network. I for one do not even like the word bubble being mentioned with Bitcoin, there would be spontaneous plunges and price corrections, but Bitcoin being a bubble that would just plunge, without rising again like some altcoins do, is not possible in my opinion. Bitcoin is a long term sustainable coin, thus it can't be called a bubble, if you believe in the network and are a long term investor, there's no need worrying about FUD and the media spreading panic information.
3749  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: June 20, 2021, 08:35:46 AM
To be honest, it is a bad idea if Man United lets one of them leaves. Those two goalkeepers are very skillful, especially Henderson that can have a bright future. Man United just needs to manage those goalkeepers to have enough time to play every season. De Gea is the main goalkeeper, while Henderson as the substitution. I think these two players are enough, no need for other goalkeepers.
You must understand that it's difficult to keep two world class players who play in the same position happy, cause they both want to be the starter and no one will want the position of a makeshift, I know that way it helps the both of them to work hard for their place in the starting eleven, but even at that, one must start ahead of the other, and one must get more playing time ahead of the other.

If one of the two goalkeepers is to go, I think it's much better if De Gea leaves, there have always been transfer rumors regarding him leaving United for a very long time now, Dean is younger and could be the perfect goalkeeper the club needs; and then, if it's possible to keep the both of them happy, then it's a big plus to United.
3750  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mark Cuban Calls for DeFi Regulation After Crypto Investment Goes to Zero on: June 20, 2021, 06:14:43 AM
Mark Cuban prolly didn't do his research on coins like this, they are pump and dump coins, the days of the pump would be good days and it makes investors to forget that such projects are for the short term and they need to take their ROI asap, the crash really isn't anything new, and I don't even think too much will change with more regulations.

Mark is a billionaire, so prolly he didn't lose too much of his wealth, but for the average man out there, the effects of holding on to such pump and dump coins and then watching it crash as fast as it went up can be devastating, thus users should treat altcoins generally as short term projects.
3751  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA EURO 2020 Discussion Thread | Current Phase: Finals in June 2021! on: June 19, 2021, 09:20:19 PM
And Spain - Poland game has ended 1-1. I should say that I'm really surprised with this result. After drawing with Sweden 0-0, I'd expect a win from Spain in this game. But Poland did a really good job here. Lewandowski scored their goal as many people can predict easily as well.  Grin
Luis Enrique would be scratching his head at this moment, if Spain fail to qualify for the knock out stages it's going to be a big disappointment for them and thus will cause Enrique to lose his job. He left some key players out of the squad for the entire tournament, Sergio Ramos for example was one of the omitted ones, critics would quicky be on Enrique's neck if Spain be eliminated in the group stages, it can still be averted, but I'm sure they would have preferred a more comfortable position atm.
3752  Other / Archival / Re: BUY & HODL - is the surest strategy for crypto beginners on: June 19, 2021, 07:11:00 PM
All investments will be profitable if you know how to manage them.
This is not true. I don't think all investments are capable of generating profits even when managed properly, cause with some of this 'lottery' coins, you'd have to be really lucky to have bought them early enough and sell when it pumps, it's not really about good management, but just luck. And then again, on the grounds of long term sustainability; it's just Bitcoin and prolly Ethereum you can really trust. Thus I'd not advice users to invest in a coin cause it's in the top ten CMC list of coins, it's an erroneous method of research.

Tottenham and England striker Harry Kane, 27, has made it clear to his representatives that he would be willing to be reunited with former Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino at Paris St-Germain. Does that mean Harry Kane is really leaving Tottenham or is a new football soap opera waiting for us?
Kane to PSG, the French giants want to win the CL by every means possible, in my opinion, signing Harry puts them in a strong position to finally become champions of Europe, I don't know why Kane wants to move to France, I feel City would be a better option for him, staying in the same league, but then PSG are a very big team, the only thing I see wrong in this deal is in how PSG play and if Kane would be able to slot into their pattern, Neymar somewhat runs the show there, with Mbappe as well, Kane will definitely make them a very dangerous and scary trio if the three top players can understand themselves, though it would be difficult to.
3754  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much power does Elon still have over the crypto markets? on: June 18, 2021, 11:59:15 AM
Other than Satoshi none have control over the bitcoin network, but lot many people have control over the cryptocurrency market. This is all because of the massive holdings of cryptocurrency. Elon is very much active on the cryptocurrency market in the recent days after finding the massive fluctuation. Now he tends to make use of the market for wealth generation making common people suffer.
This is not true. Satoshi has no more control over the Bitcoin network than yourself, meaning he has none, cause you don't as well. Satoshi created Bitcoin, but control and freedom of personal funds is in the hands of it's users. Whatever manipulation Elon has over the network is only down to people's naivety, if some newbies to crypto are better informed, then we'd never even have to mention Elon Musk in matters concerning Bitcoin manipulation or control.
3755  Economy / Economics / Re: Aren't we the reason why BTC is becoming too much centralized? on: June 18, 2021, 03:07:47 AM
It's pretty difficult to convince a newcomer investor not to panic sell when the media is highlighting one negative news about Bitcoin or the other cause they prolly expect a crash to follow suit, and then again, apart from 'panic selling', people sell for other more personal reasons, thus I don't think everything is falling into the 'big' hands of institutional investors.

Having said that, I don't think it's possible that Bitcoin can possibly be 'completely' owned by institutional investors, and then again, as for the government, they do not even want Bitcoin, they can't control it, neither can they print out as many as they want, thus their focus can only be in the aspect of regulations. Bitcoins decentralized makeup gives us an advantage, at least we know it's not possible for anyone to 'control' the network.
3756  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: June 18, 2021, 12:49:28 AM
For Manchester city the opportunity in the season with I think it's still open whether it will be made the reigning champions or not, while Liverpool and Chelsea will now continue to be ambitious to chase the trophies they want to win and Chelsea now also have a great squad in the hands of Tuchel so this will be a tough competition for Mancity next season.
It would be pretty interesting to see how City defend their title next season, if all the big teams maintain their form all season long, then it's going to be tough; I'm particularly also looking closely at Chelsea, Tuchel seems to be a tactician and he prolly must be plotting the philosophy to use in order to steal the title from Pep Guardiola.

Having said that, City could prolly switch concentration slightly to the CL next season, and it could give the other contenders a slight edge, after losing in the CL to Chelsea, they'll want to get to that stage again, and try to win it this time cause it's the only trophy eluding them.
3757  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much power does Elon still have over the crypto markets? on: June 17, 2021, 09:41:15 PM
He doesn't have any power or control over the Bitcoin network, instead his control is on people who can be easily manipulated by FUD, if the Bitcoin network didn't have users who don't do their research and are thrown into confusion just by a single tweet, then even his manipulations wouldn't be possible.

Elon's tweets though can pump coins that are originally pump and dump coins, but his influence can't control such shitcoins and keep them up, cause with time they plunge/dump, in conclusion, if less users heed to whatever it is Elon has to say, the lesser his power/influence can be in the crypto network.
3758  Economy / Reputation / Re: Hero today, it's been all fun right from the start. on: June 17, 2021, 08:57:03 PM
Many congratulations @Charles-Tim, there are few users who rank up effortlessly and going by your stats, you're definitely in that group, since you burst on the scene, your efforts keep getting recognized by other members cause they are really of pretty high quality, you'd have to wait sometime to get to legendary only cause you're short of activities, that's quite impressive to say the least.

Congratulations mate (Hero), your posts are clear representations that you have a keen interest in Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies, cheers to your new rank and to legendary coming in many months ahead Tongue.
3759  Economy / Economics / Re: USD Inflation over the last century. Bitcoin can protect you even in the US. on: June 17, 2021, 05:47:22 PM
Will we face another of those spikes soon?
Imo, I think the U.S. will, inflation is the direct consequence of most of the actions of the government to control the covid-19 pandemic, printing money is one of such actions, the initial lockdowns were also detrimental to the economy, and the effects are still being felt till date, it's pretty obvious that the inflation rate in the United States is going to go up, definitely higher than in 'normal' years.

Bitcoin in this case can well and truly protect its users who understand how it operates and aren't just 'get rich quick investors', and since Bitcoin wasn't directly affected by the pandemic that's directly causing most of the inflation, then it's a good hedge/option in that regard.
3760  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best strategy to stay anonymous with crypto? on: June 16, 2021, 07:09:16 PM
The government wants our data by all means possible, they try every means available to make sure people don't stay anonymous, that way it is somewhat difficult to stay absolutely anonymous, they must have been one or two transactions you've made somewhere, sometime that leaves traces of your data.

Most crypto users carry out their transactions through centralized exchanges, and government has a form of control over them and can request your data from such exchanges if need be, you can prolly circumvent that by using P2p or dex exchanges, but the thing remains that only very few crypto persons can succeed in keeping their data totally anonymous.

Having said that, imo responsibility of funds is much more important, if a user takes responsibility and pays close attention to protocols, scammers modus operandi, etc, just basically understanding all the conceptions available for the coin in their possession, thus making it almost impossible for them to lose it, even if their identity is not completely anonymous.
