3741  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: POSSIBLE THINGS TO HELP US TO WIN AT CRYPTO CASINOS on: August 06, 2022, 12:47:33 PM
I think best tip for a gambler is to never keep playing when you are angry or low in mood. Its because it directly increases chances to lose. You make bad decisions and bad decisions always beep you over.
Also I always suggest people to properly calculate your winning/losing possibility. It help you to prefer and play better game, and in the long run you will have more chance to win. Its example to good decision making.

I wonder what calculations can be done if, for example, for dice, the house edge is always 1%? No matter how the player thinks, at a distance the probability of his winning tends to zero.
As for avoiding playing in a bad mood, I completely agree - anger leads to an aggressive game when a player tries to win back and accelerates the loss of a deposit very much.

There isn't any thing to calculate for luck-based games. They are luck-based for a reason, and no matter how you try to calculate your winning/losing possibility, nothing will change because in the long run, the house will win against you and there's nothing one can do about it.

On sports betting this is possible, but we're talking about crypto casinos.
3742  Economy / Economics / Re: Can the US become EU's oil supplier?? on: August 06, 2022, 11:34:19 AM
There's a plethora of reasons why this shift wouldn't be so easy for the Europeans, much more the USA. The US is a country hugely dependent on oil, and even if they can produce what they needed and keep some of it on reserves, they still can't supply the demand of oil in EU. Most probably, these European countries would still be buying from the Russians as things ease out on the war. They'd just hide it under the rug and pretend that things didn't happen because they need that oil more than anything else in the world.
3743  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔮 Futuur - Predict the Future! 🔮 on: August 06, 2022, 09:38:28 AM
Just yesterday, the whole world was betting on the question "Will Pelosi land in Taiwan, or will the Americans get scared"?
We now know that she visited Taiwan.   Smiley

I thought to myself: perhaps one can bet on such short-term predictions of the behavior of politicians, especially since many of their actions disturb people all over the world.  And accordingly, there can be much more players.  And the resolution of the dispute will be fast.
But the Pelosi story is just something that just came to my mind when the news was kept intriguing until the last moment.
Even a plane with a delegation of American congressmen was allowed to go along a tricky route, in an arc, and not in a straight line. Smiley

Hi!

Thanks for the message! I don't know if you guys know about that, but we had the market "Will Nancy Pelosi visit Taiwan by the end of August?"

For sure, prediction markets can work in both the short and long term to generate better predictions (and to have some fun too  Tongue )

I invite you all to suggest ANY market to us, we love to receive new ideas.

Personally, my favorite predictions are those related to world politics and finance.

Dang, this ended as soon as this was posted. Pelosi went to Taiwan on just the 2nd day of August. This market is a fast and easy win, though it is an extremely hard market to predict given that there aren't much signs back in July that can at least hint at Pelosi visiting Taiwan.

Taking advantage of the Taiwan theme, we have more of these related markets:

Will the US impose restrictions on its officials to relate with Taiwan by the end of 2023? Predict now!

Will China try to take Taiwan by the end of 2022? Make your prediction!

Seems like this is an interesting bet to take on. They most probably wouldn't, but that Nancy Pelosi thing is also a "most probably not" until it happened.  Cheesy

I'm not sure how things work with this. It made me curious to have a conversation with Stake support team and below is what I understood. I don't know whether this platforms were officially supported by the mentioned list of Casinos.

Did you read the homepage of our website ? Or the post ?
Maybe search google what affiliate is or referral is?
Maybe none of the casinos knows we exist.
As we simply get commission from referrals.
And yes we have good deals like in stake our commission is higher than the average.
Please search Google about your questions as it's basic or just read twice the post.
Also search what Cashback rebate Rakeback means.  You might understand

If your commission is higher than average, how come these casinos do not know you? If I remember correctly, the last service that offered this kind of affiliate bonus also stated that they do have some kind of deal with Stake, and that their rakeback and commission is also higher than most people, but they weren't able to provide exactly how were they able to get that kind of numbers. Maybe you could explain to us how and why you get that dealfrom Stake.  Smiley
3745  Economy / Gambling / Re: A New Era for Betting - (After Corona Circumstances) on: August 06, 2022, 06:30:02 AM
No more queue in the betting line. That's also one of the changes. You can just literally enter the dome and get ready to watch the game, use your smartphone if you want to put your bets because online betting now is exploding in numbers.
You just have to find the right bookie where you could trust your funds and have a reputation to give whatever the amount you will win exactly.
Safer too. You won't be handling cash as you walk out.

Well that adds to the convenience of things. Everything seemed to be orderly after the pandemic hit the world because almost everyone is observant of the health protocols and do not want to catch the virus. There are a few people that are oblivious from the fact that this virus exist, although they are very few and far between.

Online sportsbetting opened a new doorway for a lot of people to experience betting on their favorite teams. It is really one of the best things that's happened in the gambling industry IMO, and only proved its importance when the pandemic hit.
3746  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which use case or utility will lead in 2024 or next bull market on: August 05, 2022, 10:16:22 PM
Haven't we passed all these things already? We found out that most of these use cases are short-lived, and we're yet to see another use case for crypto that will allow it to boom. Web 3.0 is something interesting, though people can't still grasp what it really is. It would be rather interesting for coin creators to make people fully understand what Web 3.0 is, and not sell their coin by saying random jargons to make it look like it's extremely technical.

Maybe I should consider singles after all Smiley

Stick with two games instead of multiple games I think. Picking like two highly potential games and getting the best bet out of it, personally I think teams from the SA regions are pretty bad compared to the others though so probably I'll stick with it for a while. Betting against EG seems to be an option as well considering how bad they are

Way to start the Major for me, hitting 9x odds

SA is better than NA for most of the time, so I usually consider to bet on them when they're faced against NA. teams. Compared to the rest of the scene, both regions are pretty bad though there are a lot of talented individuals in NA that could make a lot of improvement if they move to EU.

Also, nice odds. Juicy picks and not a single event wasted in there
3748  Economy / Services / Re: Bonus earning 500 eur to 1000 eur on: August 05, 2022, 04:04:57 PM
I have a strategy too. You can double that money even more but you have to pay me first before I show you the technique. Payment can also be in escrow using one of my trusted escrow that I know.  Grin

Seriously though, if anyone fall for this scam, I'll offer no sympathy and I'll laugh my hardest instead. Who would, in their sane mind, share a technic that is 'proven' to give you loads of money? I mean, the amount you're asking for is only 4-5 days of work from your method, and since you're the only one who knows about it, chances are you'll milk whatever platform that is until they get suspicious of your actions.

Just stop mate.
3749  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [DOTA2] PGL Arlington Major 2022 Prediction Thread on: August 05, 2022, 12:27:28 PM
At this point , EG don't deserve to get out of groups nor qualify for TI because let's be honest and admit , EG are playing awful and there is no salvation for them. Cr1t and RTZ should think well if they are the real trouble on that team as one wants to do something in team fights and the other one simply bails out as soon as he "think" that the fight is lost. Then , I'm thinking what's the point of FLY ? if we cannot hold them together during team fights.

Cr1t is still a great support and RTZ is still a good carry. The thing that makes EG crumble is how their decision making as a team works. Most of the time you'll see Cr1t doing solo plays while his team are taking fights on the other side of the map. They couldn't get that chemistry and team work together even though they played together for years. They seriously need to change their leadership otherwise they'll never make it to big tournaments in the future.
3750  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Man Collapses after Allegedly Losing a $400 Loan at a Betting Shop on: August 05, 2022, 06:22:19 AM
I would never understand how people living from paycheck to paycheck and are on the brink of being homeless still think of using their last money to gamble. The chances of losing that money is extremely higher than doubling it. People should stop relying everything on luck and start doing things to turn their lives around. Nothing wrong with gambling if you can support your life without having to get a loan. Then again, the delusions of the poor and their greed would always get to them and that, IMO, is something that can't be fixed.
3751  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Government Owned Online Casinos What Do You Think Of Its Potential on: August 04, 2022, 10:12:24 PM
That's how money works, pushing people to greediness and not allowing anyone to compete,

Corruptions is the number one problem, the money that will flow around the business will be influenced by someone who has higher authorities, from that scheme those behind it will also add to the problem, as even in the lower positions corruptions will continue to flow
inside the system.
This is very real, even those in the lowest positions of government will try to make corrupt money from gambling. public trust in the government is already very low, if they manage the gambling business then it will further worsen their image in front of the public.

How could managing a Casino worsen a government's image to the public?  I don't think it happens here in my country since they are able to manage a government-owned casino very well.  Aside from that, they also give licenses to private Casino as long as it has all the requirements and documents needed to operate.
There are a bunch of things but number one that people thinks about it would be corruption, We can't deny that. There are also illegal things that could be involved such as money laundering and it could come to the point that there could be drug deals happening on those casino. There are many things that are happening inside those public/private casino that has ties with government officials. These acts will be imprinted on public minds especially if that casino has an history of it. It could vary depending on your country since not every country citizen has the same level of trust in their government.

Government-owned projects are always riddled with corruption and other irregularities that it has become common knowledge around the world that these guys are just there not to protect the public coffers but to create sub-standard projectes with the money and take some for their own pockets. A lot of countries are like this sadly, so even if a country proposes or pushes to create a casino, people will just oppose it because they know what will happen next. We are so aware of what's happening behind the curtain that we don't fully trust governments on projects like this.
3752  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino Games or Gambling Considered Sports, really! on: August 04, 2022, 05:09:12 PM
Skill-based casino games can probably count as sports, although it is obvious that other games such as dice, slots, and roulettes would not qualify. When we mention sports, basketball, boxing, and the likes come into play. Chess is considered a sport, although it does not involve lots of physicalities in order to be considered one, just two people using their minds to better the other. In poker or other card games, that is also the case, although luck and randomness play key roles in the success of the players in the game.
3753  Economy / Gambling / Re: CoinGames is back! on: August 04, 2022, 04:05:34 PM
.....

OP non of the sites provided by you is working. why? I dont believe that Coingames site is still working again. I have been hearing coingames in my locality and boys where playing their games and saying the games were good and the site was running smoothly. So, when you said, coingames is back so I was thinking to check the platform and the features of the site to know if I can place a bet. But irony was the case. But if there is another site that has been developed by them, the OP being the company's agent should provide the new site in the forum. But if the site or the company is not existing anymore. this thread should be locked to avoid spamming. Because if this thread is not locked and the so called coingames are not on existence then all the comments on this thread are useless. If they are on maintenance, you can also inform us. Instead of keeping us muted.
Naturally, in 10 years everything has changed and the old links stopped working.

It's just that I accidentally, while reading the news, found an advertising article about CoinGames.  And rummaging through the corners of my memory, I remembered that it seemed like there was already such a casino.  I looked at old topics and saw that such a casino was indeed opened a long time ago.  Then it disappeared for many years, disappeared on the Internet.

But here are the new links to CoinGames:

https://coingames.bet/en

Of course, the domain is different now, and probably this new CoinGames is not related to the old site coingames.in Smiley

Maybe someone was lucky enough to snatch the domain since no one else is using it for so long. It is still a catchy name for a platform and it can still potentially attract a lot of new comers into the space if only this new site offered something unique and gave out a lot of positives to the overall experience of the players.

Seeing how crude were the methods of old in order to place a bet, I couldn't be happier that we advanced and made a lot of things easier for gamblers.
3754  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you look down on Bushy or undeveloped areas? on: August 03, 2022, 11:06:27 PM
This is painfully relatable.

I had my eyes set on some parce of land some 30 kms away from the capital city. I always pass by those lots for years whenever I want to go on a quick drive to relax. Last time I inquired, the price per sqm of the said land was $15 equivalent to our country's money. Fast forward 4 years later, one of the premiere property development companies in the Philippines decided that they would buy the land on that same area where my prospect is lying on, and develop a subdivision of some sort. At that moment, I wish I just took that loan the bank was offering and buy a hefty piece of land to sit on for just 4 years. I could have made some quick buck without doing anything but I chickened out. It was one of the single, most regrettable thing I have ever done in my life.

There are still lots of land waiting to be bought on those mountainsides. It is a prime spot for diners and restaurants but the prices of land is still extremely low.
3755  Economy / Economics / Re: Crude Oil drops below $100 on: August 03, 2022, 09:11:33 PM
We've experienced rollback after rollback of petrol prices here in our country but it is still significantly expensive compared to where it was just over a year ago. We're still sitting @ $5 a gallon even though we've already had some rollbacks in the past two weeks. Hopefully it doesn't stay at its current levels and still go down further, but the supply is still not enough to cover around the world and we all know historically that when gas prices come up, they come down so long.
3756  Economy / Gambling / Re: 1xbit dispute on: August 03, 2022, 08:45:33 PM
Look, another one has been victimized by 1xbit. These guys are no longer proactively making their moves in the cryptospace, yet people still falls for their scam platform thinking that the guys at 1xbit already changed. A quick google search with the words "1xbit scam" would lead you to a lot of discussions describing how these guys are scamming people off their money without even doing anything. Even if you are not a bitcointalk member, you should see that 1xbit reviews from other people are mostly negative.

I'm sorry but you'll never see your money ever again.
3757  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will happen to BTC if China attack on Taiwan? on: August 03, 2022, 07:18:45 PM
There will be little to no effect, although I doubt that the Chinese will launch an all-out attack on Taiwan given that it houses one of the most important companies in today's age: TSMC. Should the Chinese attack Taiwan, the latter's allies would surely be backing them up, though not to the point of directly intervening what's going on in the said country as that would surely result to a global war. The Chinese are just showing their muscles against 'their territory' because they know Taiwan can't fight back, and that the US and its allies will not do anything rash even.
3758  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Micheal saylor and btc on: August 03, 2022, 06:03:03 PM
He didn't leave MicroStrategy, and what made you say that because of Saylor, bitcoin will be doomed? He's just a part of a company that controls a sizable amount of bitcoins. Even if MicroStrategy decides to eventually leave bitcoin behind and focus on other investments, bitcoin can most probably take the blow and come back stronger. There's no use spreading doom and gloom propaganda. We heard it all, and every single time, we just shrug our shoulders and carry on.
3759  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is It For The Money Or For The Sport Or A Clear Exploitations on: August 03, 2022, 03:51:20 PM
It was not promoted as an amateur or professional boxing match so I guess that is okay. It is done for entertainment purposes and obviously, for these two giant walking muscles to make some quick moolah. Now if it was advertised as an amateur bout following all the rules of the sport and they did this kind of clownfest, that is the time when I would be complaining and obviously call for them to stop this nonsense.

It's good that no major bookies took this under their events because a lot of people would be insanely mad given how foolish the guy in blue acted. Even amateur flyweights can drop this guy down.

One more day before PGL Arlington Major starts. I feel bad for Fnatic. They are yet to officially announce their needed 3-player stand-ins.

Really sucks that this upcoming major is plagued with lots of visa issues. I'm also waiting for their announcement regarding their stand-ins. Lots of options and free agents right now but team work and overall synergy would be sacrificed even if top pubstars agree to join them.

Another thing. I was surprised to see a new name representing North America. Did Quincy Crew disband or did they just rename it into Soniqs since all players are the same? I already forgot Valve's ruling on players leaving for another team. There are a lot of stand-ins in this last major and I can't wait to see how it works.

QC is just an organization created by Quinn and his teammates to qualify for Valve events. They aren't signed by anyone IIRC and are also not sponsored so it's just okay for Soniq to acquire them under their management.

calendar in the OP has been updated! thanks for reminding me, @arallmuus  Wink

looking forward to Arlington major. Heh, I just saw that RNG will have ana as stand-in, talk about strange crossovers in dota. Ame has a score to settle with ana  TI18

Actually, I didn't expect that this kind of announcement is real I just see this lurking around in the different pages because we know Ana is just waiting for the OG again and many people ask why Ana makes a standin in the RNG well we know he take some pub games most of the time I saw Topson having a Rivalry in Mid with Ana at the same time still he knows how to play as a 2x TI Champion I guess for sure most of us here waiting for the comeback of the HumbleGod.

Ana is just a free agent right now looking for his fill of Dota 2 tournament hunger. He's still technically and mechanically strong in the game but I don't think his talents matches those of the young bloods of OG. Yuragi is quite consistent as a carry and his gameplay is 'just right' for OG. Also, ana already lost that drive to win TI. He's just doing it to get his fill, though I highly doubt that he'll ever commit to joining a professional team again to play Dota full time.

EDIT: just found out that Topson has been released by OG as he expressed his desire to compete for another TI. I wonder if he has Jerax, ana, n0tail, and ceb's number on speed dial to create a new team just to see if they still got it?
