Fresh out of Newbie status and heads straight to Lending.  Check his post history of junk/filler posts.

Wait, so Shavers was already convicted?
3743  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Quantum Computer Invented on: September 24, 2012, 06:21:21 PM
No.  Quantum computing is being demonstrated on a microscopic scale in a lab environment.

It won't be productized for years, maybe even decades.
Hook, line, sinker...
3744  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: The pirate and the SEC - Alleged e-mails. on: September 24, 2012, 04:58:27 PM
Theymos might get a paper to turn over all logs, even if he is in another country, they do help each other out. 5 million in loss is a great reason to do so.
Forum accounts can't always be directly tied to BTCST accounts though.

3746  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: The pirate and the SEC - Alleged e-mails. on: September 24, 2012, 04:13:12 PM
Care to disclose your source(s)?
A raw Pastebin link is no source at all.

I did not receive the e-mail directly.....several forum members and depositors in BTCST have confirmed receiving the e-mail, and one pasted the content and shared it in the #BTCST channel.

I cannot verify the accuracy, simply sharing it here for discussion sake.

I'd like to see the e-mail header for that.

Blocked for me at work. Someone copy/pasta?
3748  Economy / Lending / Re: 3btc loan for blogging on: September 24, 2012, 01:36:30 AM
Funny how there's absolutely no mention of a donation address at all.

Edit: This does look fairly legit though. OP needs to tie her identity to the blog owner though. Ie. post something about Bitcointalk.org on your blog or something maybe?
3749  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: LTC mining with Reaper on a 7970 on: September 22, 2012, 05:15:58 PM
these settings get 600kh/s+, which is the estimated kh/s rate for one of these cards by their memory bandwidth:

worksize 256
aggression 13
threads_per_gpu 5
sharethreads 18
lookup_gap 2
gpu_thread_concurrency 10240

you need the latest sdk and 12.6+ ati drivers (tried with 12.6 and it works well, not sure about 12.7 but those are probably okay too)
Any time I go above 8192 I get an error saying the buffer is too large or some shit.  How are you guys getting gpu_thread_concurrency above that?

Oh look, they're trying to copy Google Wallet.
3751  Economy / Lending / Re: [LOAN] Looking for 3BTC on: September 21, 2012, 10:17:47 PM
BTC sent. Repay by 9/24/12

Just out of curiosity, what made you decide that lending 8668 was a good idea?

I added it to the bottom of topic pages.
I forgot to thank you for this.  The forum is so much easier to navigate now (at least for me).  Thanks!

3757  Economy / Lending / Re: The pirate speaks on: September 18, 2012, 02:12:11 PM
October 12th will come around and there will be no payments made.  On top of that there will be absolutely no communication from Trendon Shavers at all. BET
3758  Economy / Lending / Re: The pirate speaks on: September 17, 2012, 08:00:58 PM
I particularly love this line "Those looking to file a suit against me or BTCST will not be eligible for repayment".
Yeah, thats how it works Smiley.

But bro, didn't you know?  That's how the law works!
3759  Economy / Lending / Re: The pirate speaks on: September 17, 2012, 06:07:32 PM
he is stalling and trolling... and so far it seems it worked... many people who wanted to sue no longer want to sue...   they want to wait...

Unfortunately you're probably right.  Proof will come when October 12th rolls around and absolutely nothing happens other than more silence from Shavers.

Planning to be a lender in the future

But first let me borrow as much BTC as I can and then disappear
