3741  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I am not lucky in trading - what am I doing wrong? on: December 12, 2019, 10:09:39 PM
It’s quite difficult to give advice without any data in front of you.
As the saying goes: what question is the answer. You can make mistakes in many aspects of trading, but judging because you wrote most likely you just don’t understand when you need to enter a trade and when to exit. For starters, I would advise you to buy a subscription to Trading View and watch what the best traders in the world listen to their analytics and look at their deals, specifically at the time of entry and exit. Learning from the example of professionals is always easier than yourself.
I wouldn't advice someone to buy "subscriptions" (honestly, this sounds totally stupid) to watch best traders in the world are doing. I wouldn't also randomly believe what they are saying. As far as I know, most of these well known traders are bought by the project team just so that they can shill/advertise for them.
Instead of wasting your money on those shitty subscription, use it to trade. At least you will get some experience and be able to learn from your mistakes.
3742  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How about investing into altcoins? on: December 12, 2019, 09:48:42 PM
We are more focused on bitcoin than ever as most of the users wants to invest into bitcoin assuming a bull run post halving but nit many are planning to invest into altcoins, I think we need to focus on altcoins as well as there are coins like Tron, ADA and all which can pump anytime and priced extremely less as of now and even if bitcoin pumps it will have positive affect on altcoins as well so I think we should invest into reputed altcoins as well.
So how come you are so sure that "Tron" and "ADA" will get pumped any time soon? Like based on what facts can you back up your claim? Just some random guess? Or is it just that you have invested on those coins and now you also want others to invest on those coins?
You said it your self - the price can pump any time. I mean the they are really unpredictable. They can get pumped anytime or also get dumped anytime. That is why people don't want to take the risk involved in altcoin investment.
3743  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Warning for newbies on: December 12, 2019, 05:20:18 PM
Newbies needs to be prepared for this coming new year, scammers will try to take advantage of that year because bitcoin halving is already dropping the HYPE in crypto space  already, Learn to do research better, not all bad results in crypto are because a project failed, mostly are because of lack of research, with no good research you can easily fall for scam projects.

1) Do better research on new projects before promoting them or investing a penny on them

2) Visit scam accusation thread on the forum time to time, it will safe you a lot too

3) If you you have to invest always invest what you can afford to lose.

The projects now a days are good at hiding. They can easily cover their motives. They can act all good without people even noticing. Again, if a project looks all good, this does not mean they will not fail. There are projects that failed because they just couldn't achieve what they wanted to.
No need to continuously visit the scam accusation thread. Google is your friend. Just learn how to use it properly.
Your third point doesn't make sense. Invest where ever you think is good. You have to sometimes take risks!
3744  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Advice to bounty hunters that wants to quit on: December 12, 2019, 01:06:39 PM
Lets all get used to this present bounty condition, forget about the past, the more you are expecting bounties to be like what we have seen in the past the more you will feel like quitting, once upon a time there are not too many scam projects in crypto space but after the All time High skyrocketing of crypto it became a target for scammers so right now you have to do the hardwork to make gains, no more easy money making for now at least, get used to it and adjust as you go because money was never meant to be made the easy way, till date there are many successful bounties yet upon all the bad projects mixing with the few good ones.
So, you are telling people not to quit bounty hunting and get scammed or paid less. Well, you are the problem over here. You are just encouraging those scammers to scam more. To rip off more people who are trying hard. It is people like you "who are not quitting" and accepting less payment, thus has no incentive to do their "job" properly. They end up spamming every where. After all, if they get kicked (but they don't because those shitty projects don't care who spams or who doesn't), they won't be losing anything. If they were paid properly (take less people, monitor them regularly and give them better payment), they would at least be scared of losing their position.
3745  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What did you learn as a gambler? on: December 12, 2019, 12:57:56 PM
You probably heard the negative sides of gambling, some people who dont gamble has this bad impression towards it and we cant blame them for thinking that way because of the bad affect of gambling to a person who dont have control and let himself became addicted.

Now what did you realize or learn as a gambler (regardless if you became an addicted or not) that you can share to others?

As a former addicted gambler I realized that gambling is not the answer if you're desperate to grow your money and should not be our last resort in times like this because there's other way that can be the solution to our problem when it comes to money.
If someone who thinks gambling can help them earn money, then lets be honest, he isn't wrong over here. Gambling can in fact help you earn money over night. I have heard people and seen people earning thousands of dollars within few seconds. Though, the risk associated over here is extremely high, but the profits are also equally good. Think about investment. Investing on a good place will give you money, though slowly, but with risks. One bad investment and boom. All gone. I am not encouraging anyone to gamble to earn money. I am just saying the truth over here.
Just gamble what you can afford to lose.
3746  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin going to $9200? on: December 12, 2019, 12:49:25 PM
Just another pump analyzer.  Grin

Well, it could happen. It is December and people are receiving their bonuses.
If some do like the idea of investing that money into bitcoin then we might really see a small pump ahead.
But, it will not be fruitful in a sudden. It might bloom mid January or maybe even in the month of February.

Yeah, I am also speculating now.  Grin
He is probably talking about the next halving which will take place next year. People usually expect the price to go up during halving due to the general economic rule, demand and supply. Due to halving, the supply of the coin will reduce thus people will expect the price to rise. This in fact might cause the price to rise as people will start investing on bitcoin before the halving. Again, we have seen the price not being affected at all due to halving.
Holidays are coming. People might want to change their coins to fiat but I don't think it is going to affect the price much.
3747  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What matters most to online casinos? on: December 12, 2019, 02:11:21 AM
Most people that gambles online in a crypto casino will prefer privacy (but most casino can't provide that due to laws and people abusing the casino to commit illegal activities like money laundering). They prefer a smooth and easy to use user interface and user interaction. Some people looks for a faucet to try out their strategy while others are there to abuse the faucet. They also look for casino with multiple games and coin support.
You guys should try crypto-games.net if you haven't!
3748  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think of the current status of Bitcoin? on: December 12, 2019, 01:56:49 AM
Hi, all!

I just wanted to ask what you think we as a community achieved in 2019.

For me every year and every day has been amazing and awesome!!

Although, there are many issues with Bitcoin but considering what it was in 2016 what it is now? Bitcoin is known! Why?

If I only think about the Fiat value of Bitcoin now and what it was 4 years back there is a huge upward swing.
If I think about its adoption then and now there are so many websites accepting Bitcoin.
If I think about Is Bitcoin a Ponzi Scheme there are so many articles arguing Bitcoin legitimacy to those MLM schemes.
If I think about how difficult was to understand this concept, there are amazing articles on the Internet to help you.

I know there are so many reasons but, I cannot recall all of those.

Write it down below if I have missed something.

1. Don't compare price with "last 4 years" (i mean short term period), compare it from like the beginning. You will see on average how much we have developed and the price has increased.
2. Still less. Only few websites are accepting bitcoin directly.
3. Only those who don't understand the concept behind bitcoin, call bitcoin a ponzi scheme. just ignore them!
4. The concept behind the technology isn't some sort of rocket science, so its actually easy to understand if you try to understand.
3749  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price Rises to $20-$50k After Halving...Thoughts? on: December 12, 2019, 01:49:11 AM
What are your thoughts on Lightning Capital Hedge Fund Manager, Charles Hwang, predicting BTC price will rise between $20-$50k after Bitcoin halving?
Kinda looks like you are just trying to advertise your news portal site right? Look, those predictions are just bullshit. It is like they are randomly guessing the price based on no fact that can back up their guess or claim. We all know that due to halving of the reward in 2020, the price will actually rise (at least for a while before going back to where it was). Now people are making some bullshit prediction, just so that investors jump in and cause the price to rise further.
Honestly, $20,000 USD to $50,000 USD kinda sounds impossible to happen.
3750  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What’s the best coin to buy apart from bitcoin on: December 12, 2019, 01:32:25 AM
How do you define "best" in this context? Like best based on what? I mean based on features like Transaction speed or confirmation time? Anyways, every coin has its own features. You can't compare coins with each other (other than some shit clone coin). Again, you won't get a proper answer from the internet. You will have to do your own analysis. People will suggest you and be biased towards coins they have invested on no matter how shit the coin is!
3751  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Why Crypto Exchanges Should Lower Their Fees and Profit Margins on: December 11, 2019, 08:32:49 PM
The crypto industry has yet to evolve from exchanges which are nothing more than digital banks in reality. A couple are taking bold moves to slash their fees but how many others will follow and how will it affect the wider crypto industry.

https://bitcoinist.com/why-crypto-exchanges-should-drop-their-fees-and-profit-margins/
Exchanges are like digital banks? This is where you are wrong. No way exchanges can be compared with banks. You can say people use it as "digital banks" which is in fact the most irresponsible thing a person can do. Exchanges should never be used as a place to store your coins. Exchanges are prone to hacks no matter how secure they claim they are. Remember, nothing in this world is 100% perfect or secure. Everything has flaws.
They will eventually reduce fees and profit margins as more competition arises. But do know that, even exchanges has to earn money, so don't be expecting extremely reduced fee from them.
3752  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling for increasing and decreasing money on: December 07, 2019, 02:54:30 PM
Your post sounds really retarded (please no offense). You are encouraging people with financial difficulties to gamble and then you are saying people who have good amount of money to gamble and lose all those money? This makes no sense at all. If a person has loads of money and can afford to lose it, does not mean that he should gamble recklessly. No matter how much rich you are, you should be always be responsible with your financial aspects. You can end up being broke anytime, you never know.
3753  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling can never be a means of making money. on: December 07, 2019, 02:50:42 PM
Gambling can never be a means of making money. Gambling is just a game for spending time. After all day work is a bit of fun to gamble. I think If you don't gamble to make money, then gambling will be more effective. Because if the purpose of gambling is to make money it will create additional tension on the head. There will be no gaming fun in the meantime. So I think the purpose of gambling is to have one purpose and that's just fun.

Thank you
Yes, it is a form of making money. You are just thinking about those people who make loss. What about those who are making profit? They are making money out of gambling. What if a user has good number of active referrals? He will be making money off them. Again, the casino operators are making money every month from other peoples loss.
Just because some people make loss and some people make profit, does not mean that it is not a means of making money. If you truly believe this statement, then you can also say that investment is not a form of making money because there are chance of making loss.
3754  Economy / Economics / Re: Malaysia to Limit Cash Transactions in 2020 on: December 07, 2019, 02:45:19 PM
I have been following this news for months now, the truth is we will only find out more next year, this sanction was actually placed this year somewhere around March but the only people affected was just the minimum wage earners, big time businessmen was not affected but again we will see next year how much they push it, for crypto adaptation in Malaysia, it is already becoming a big deal, there are new people joining the crypto family from Malaysia but the second issue is that many of them have no experience and jumping in with two feet and i think that might be a problem because lots of them might fall to crypto scams and this will also cause negative effect in the community, i would advise more awareness be created for new crypto users in Malaysia for more understanding.
I think you are saying the exact opposite. How come people earning minimum wage be affected by this monetary policy and not those that are big businessmen or deals with large sum of money daily? The poor won't even reach the limit while those rich people will be affected by it within a day. Though I am not quite sure how this policy is being imposed and how this going to help reduce "abuse" (again what kind of abuse?) of money. Another guy over here said that this limit applies to only physical cash transaction and electronic transaction has no limit. Like how would they be tracing each and every physical transaction? They would be almost impossible.
3755  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Teach me how to fish on: December 07, 2019, 02:37:51 PM
Everyone keeps pointing to trading as the best alternative to earning in this bear market but my past experience about trading was bad and now i am willing to give a try again, can any one give me good guide? don't just tell me to find strategy without giving me any, teach me how to fish
No one is going to teach you how to "fish" (this really sounds werid. I don't know why you are saying how to fish  Huh). You will have to learn it all by yourself. You had bad experience in the past. Now learn from those mistakes. See what might have gone wrong when you were trading and try to find a way to avoid those mistakes. Keep trading and you will eventually master it. Don't just take random advises from the people on the internet.
3756  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Nearly $10 billion worth of BTC moved in just 15 minutes? on: December 07, 2019, 02:33:19 PM
As the article already stated, not much really seem to care about this phenomena. It's just maybe a whale trying to confuse such whale alerts and just kidding around, though he must have some guts moving such huge amounts on new addresses. Either the reason might be, the prices isn't affected contrary to what other people might think.
True such moving does happen a lot, but not quite sure what you are really trying to say over here. Why would someone be kidding with huge sum of money and coins? They are serious people and I think no sane person would be "kidding" with their financial assets!
What does moving coins have to do with "bravery". Are you implying that they might have lost their coins while moving them? LOL.
3757  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gambling Payments Processor Skrill launches “Skrill Cryptocurrency Service" on: December 07, 2019, 07:20:41 AM
My own wallet was closed due to matched betting.
I was using Skrill for many years before Neteller to buy it. Skrill was the perfect gambling e-wallet.
Then Neteller bought it and increased taxes. Then removed most of the VIP benefits, then the service become even worst. Now I'm playing only on crypto sites and I'm avoiding Skrill and Neteller at all cost.
That is the beauty of crypto currencies. You are the sole owner of your coins. There is no one who can stop you from taking financial decisions. Decentralized payment system can ban and close your account anytime they wish and want to without any notice. They can confiscate your funds without you doing anything. But no one can seize your bitcoins. They are all yours no matter what you do (as long as you hold your private keys).
Good you moved on to crypto casinos. They are far more better that normal online casinos.
3758  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Germany is going to be the Crypto Heaven but Russia Banned- What are the others? on: December 07, 2019, 07:17:20 AM
Yeah good thing this is happening. Not sure about Russia banning crypto currencies. Haven't heard anywhere about it. Though I guess they will eventually life the ban (if they did actually ban it) and become more flexible in case of using crypto currencies.
I guess Ghana and the middle eastern countries you mentioned are not talking about crypto currencies. They are talking about digital money which are backed my fiat currencies. More like digital payment wallet like Paypal. Those can't be considered as crypto currencies. They might just be using the blockchain technology to keep everything transparent.
3759  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Consider All Altcoins Bad on: December 07, 2019, 07:14:00 AM
I have never heard anyone saying all altcoins are shit/bad. In fact I have seen people using/recommending altcoins for making transactions at cheaper fee and faster confirmation. There might be some people "generalizing" all altcoins based on their some bad experience they have faced as a result of investing on shit coins. It all started when they invested on some random altcoins without getting to know about the coins. They probably saw the price skyrocketing, got interested, invested on it and then saw it getting dumped thus making huge loss.
3760  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: In the next decade, BTC and digital currencies will “fully” replace fiat? on: December 06, 2019, 11:35:18 PM
This is highly unlikely to happen, at least on the next decade. It might take at least few more decades before we completely replace fiat. Though I doubt that crypto currencies will completely replace fiat, but I am pretty much sure they will be used side by side in harmony with crypto currencies becoming the mainstream.
Crypto currencies, especially bitcoin won't be able to replace fiat. Lets be honest here, bitcoin does have a lot of flaws when it comes to using it as a mainstream currency for daily transaction. Do you really think the network will be able to handle millions of transaction with minimum fee easily when everyone uses it?
