3741  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Looking for best casino on: August 06, 2022, 09:06:13 PM
There are many legit and popular crypto casinos being advertised on this forum through their official threads or through our signature banners.

I advise you to check each of them by yourself, so you can take your own conclusions about each of them until you find your favorite one.

In my signature banner you will find Stake casino. It's a pretty famous one, going beyond crypto universe and partnering with celebrities and sportsmen who promote the company internationally. You can check what I'm saying by searching them on google or by searching on youtube for gambling content. There are lots of videos displaying Stake platform, which are posted very frequently.
3742  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: POSSIBLE THINGS TO HELP US TO WIN AT CRYPTO CASINOS on: August 06, 2022, 07:54:15 PM
OP presents useful advices for responsible gambling gameplay etiquette, but they don't help us winning at crypto casinos.

You can follow all of those hints and it won't be enough to reward you profit within time.

The only measure I see someone could use to recover losses and profit from gambling for a while is to always start a gambling session with a larger bankroll than you firstly started on the loss session, what unfortunatelly and inevitably will become impossible at some point, as the loss keeps increasing and accumulating more zeros or decimal places...

An example of that would be to use a 10,000$ bankroll to recover a 100$ loss or a 100,000$ bankroll to recover a 1000$ loss, since it should be relatively easy to make 1% profit, at least theoretically.
3743  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to take profits? on: August 06, 2022, 06:56:56 PM
If you are too afraid of losing money you should cashout initial investment and keep growing the profit generated by it. But if you don't bother risking your initial funds, and have the long term as your goal you can keep the investment intact to maximize potential returns.

Or you can even cashout initial investment to start a new one with another asset. This way you hold different assets while not compromising extra money from your pocket.

Just make sure to pick the right investments which have promising ROI chances for the future. Avoid the hyped ones.
3744  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think metaverse have a place in the world on: August 05, 2022, 06:46:29 PM
It can definitely work, because people love virtual reality and to escape from reality. There are many individuals who aren't satisfied with aspects of their currently life, so they enter virtual environments where they have total control over their appearance, where they can be powerful, rich, influent and even put in practice behaviors they wouldn't practice in real life.
3745  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Man Collapses after Allegedly Losing a $400 Loan at a Betting Shop on: August 05, 2022, 06:12:58 PM
He is still lucky for me that he only loses $400. At least, he can negotiate it properly with the lender and do some new agreement on how to pay it if the man claims that he will struggle to pay for that. The first thing to do is to do that action before the due date so the lender will be notified about the problem.

The man just needs to work hard to earn the money until reaching $400. He should pay the price that's why no room for any complaints.

He should feel lucky that it's only $400 and not more than that. It's a nightmare if the amount loss is really big.

Next time, don't gamble when there's no backup and established plan in case of losing the money.
That really doesn't look the end of the world for him. Even though the man lives in a poor country where dollar values a lot and local fiat currency is worthless, 400$ is still recoverable through another methods relatively fast. The man just needs to forget gambling for now and concentrate his efforts in working and asking people around for temporary support until he can pay for a new house.

Maybe his appearance on the local news will lead people to recognize and offer earning and living opportunities to him.
3746  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Borrow fiat with your Bitcoin and never sell on: August 04, 2022, 07:36:06 PM
It's simply better to avoid needing to borrow money because I don't want to have to sell my bitcoins, but I also don't want to have to pay interest to the bank over loans and unfortunatelly we can't predict how much percentage profit bitcoin is going to generate us in a year time period. Fluctuations can be positive, negative or nothing at all, therefore you are forced to prepare a 'Plan B' to repay your loan anyway.
3747  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⭐️Share Your Winnings Story. Why do people gamble?⭐️ on: August 04, 2022, 07:04:12 PM
For the sake of winning! It is the generous winnings that encourage players to bet in the casino and take risks over and over again in the hope of catching luck by the tail.
Correct. Gamblers feel incentivized by the experiences of another players who had sucess and develop a desire to reproduce the same experiences on their personal gambling sessions. They follow the principle if something good happened to others, it must happen to them as well, since they execute the same steps at the same platform.

Personally, I've never had any big wins.
3748  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino Games or Gambling Considered Sports, really! on: August 04, 2022, 05:35:57 PM
Billiards isn't a gambling game. It's a game where the most skilled ones win. If it were a gambling game we would see a larger variety of players on top positions, since they would rely on luck, instead of skills.

Just because people gamble on billiards' results, it doesn't mean it can't be considered a sport. Billiards is a sport people bet just like soccer, basketball, tennis, boxing and so on.

Regards poker, I believe it was a maneuver to legalize the activity in Brazil, while not legalizing another gambling categories of games, and consequently casinos.
3749  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shiba lovers lower your expectations on: August 02, 2022, 07:42:38 PM
Developers are profiting over investors like you. You should be careful with this investment because it's possible the huge supply is going to be dumped in the market by people behind shiba inu aiming their own good. And in my opinion you are being too optimistic. I would swap all those SHIB into something scarce, widely adopted, advantageous and valuable like bitcoin right now.
One thing about meme coins is that they are occasional or seasonal and their success is high dependent on the efforts of the project owners and fundamentals. When the media hype comes, swing with it and die off with it, don't hold. I made the mistake from the last bull which was over pumped and I was dumped in the market which has already reduced more than 85%. I don't my faith again in the coin. That is why I trust dodge more than any other meme coin because it has some utility values.
Doge is the best one considering its history and probably will remain demanded for a long time yet. It's one of the main cryptocurrencies from the initial years of crypto market, what guarantees some sentimental value to the currency till nowadays, which hardly ever will cease at some moment futurely, keeping the currency influent at crypto scenario. In my opinion it's the only memecoin with real potential to survive on long run.
3750  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto in Church. on: August 02, 2022, 06:51:38 PM
It's good religious people are adopting and learning about cryptocurrency, but the church isn't the appropriate place for this kind of apprenticeship. The preacher can incentive his community to persue wealthy and to thrive in life through Holy Bible, but can't mix religion with trading lessons.

For me it actually looks dangerous because his religious authority position can be misunderstood and have its meaning and purpose subverted. As we know, many crypto gurus attempt to impress the audience in order to profit over common people.

Unfortunatelly, in religious environments it's not different. There are many false prophets lurking around!
3751  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: So we've gone from 1 meme coin to one hundred now ? on: August 02, 2022, 05:42:01 PM
There are many memecoins attempting to surf doge and shiba inu hypes. They lure investors into believing it's a new opportunity for late investors to reach the same results early investors achieved through doge and shiba, although it's unlikely it's going to happen, especially because crypto is an unpredictable environment, therefore a predictable tendency like that shouldn't be expected.

Look for new tendencies and not the repetition of the previous ones.
3752  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can change of environment have an effect on gambling addiction. on: August 01, 2022, 11:44:57 PM
if you gamble online I don't think it will affect the environment wherever you are, but it will have an effect if you invite and teach people in your environment who have not previously gambled
if we can control ourselves, maybe we will not invite other people or close friends to play gambling. But a gambler will generally tell his winnings to his closest friends so that he is unconsciously able to influence other people to gamble. so environmental factors are the main reason someone is addicted to gambling because they will be curious about the wins that their friends get so they will try to play in the context of being curious.

so basically the environment will determine a person's fate on their nature if their environment is mostly gamblers maybe sooner or later someone will be affected by the name of gambling, but if the environment does not have gamblers I don't think it is possible that someone will fall into gambling.
Exactly. The more contact you have with something, more prone you will be to consume that for your life. That is all about the social environment of your conversations, the physical environment of your way to work which pass in front of a gambling house, the virtual environment which constantly bombards you with gambling ads and video suggestions.

Humans are susceptible to external influences and the brands or companies know how to work with this smartly to challenge, please and fascinate your mind as customer.

Portugal's offers look relatively good in terms of tax, am not sure about UAE, Turkey, Switzerland, Singapore, etc tax structure on crypto, The website did not really give many details on that aspect, you can always do more research on them to be sure.
This is a good option for crypto adopters, especially digital nomads. Life quality is high, criminality rates are low, it's one of the cheapest western european countries to live, since the minimum wage there is low, while being a beautiful and historically rich country with mountains and coastal regions for every tastes. Furthermore you are inside EU and will have easy access to every other neighboor countries.
3755  Economy / Gambling / Re: What is a game you would like to see in an online crypto casino? on: August 01, 2022, 09:31:51 PM
It would be interesting to see multiplayer flash games to compete against another players at popular gambling platforms. These games also involve skills, so it would be definitely possible to win on long run, since you are a professional player.

Although I think it could work nicely only with a large traffic of players, otherwise few professional ones would simple monopolize the environment.
3756  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you look down on Bushy or undeveloped areas? on: August 01, 2022, 09:07:44 PM
Been on this similar situation but my family do the reverse thing. We have a huge land property on a mountaintop and my family sold it for a very cheap price because no one is interested to take care or plant crops on it. After 5 years the lot area was used for government windmill project which becomes a tourist attraction in my province. The value of property nearby was insanely grow due to this new attraction because the mountain has a proper road already created by the government itself so nearby lots can be easily access by vehicles.

My family spend a lot of years just to sell but they just don’t sell it on the right time.
My family also chooses to live in the city renting apartment for quite long years now, even if we have a huge land property in our province. Since our property is also not developed, then we decided to sell it at a very low price, not knowing that it could cost tons of money if we waited for the right time to sell. However, my family never regret the decision after all as we also made used the money for some useful and profitable reason. But it also leaves me a lesson, to take advantage of the opportunity through buying a piece of land, because the value will definitely grow in time.
That is true. Not every bushy areas will develop fast. We might wait a whole life without seeing any development on that area, so it' not possible to adopt this as a guaranteed investment or strategy, unless we have as focus our future generations (our sons and grandsons).

One alternative is to purchase pieces of lands at brand new neighborhoods starting from zero. This way you have access to cheaper prices, while having the assurance of the short term structural goals for the area through the blueprints displayed by the contractor's company responsible for the project.

Or you can try to see ahead everyone else, predict what the promising regions of your country are for the next few years, and purchase a land there.
3757  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are Early Adopters rich? on: August 01, 2022, 08:38:31 PM
There are very few early adopters from the initial years of bitcoin. We can't say exactly how many of them got rich and maintained a solid patrimony till today, because financial management isn't a common skill to every individuals. Several lottery jackpot's stories show us that: people who won huge sums of money, but ended bankrupted because they didn't use their money wisely.

The same might have happened to some bitcoin early adopters.

Moreover, I don't know about living in castles, but there are indeed early adopters enjoying very confortable and pleasant lives thanks to increasements in btc's price since the beginning.
3758  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Discussion] Should Gambling be Banned? on: August 01, 2022, 08:27:37 PM
From what I've seen of you, as a cryptocurrency gambler you yourself have managed it well and you as a player on any gambling platform even in your gambling past have lost a lot of money as well. and maybe also because of your experience you saw the pros and cons here and that's why that pushed you to share it here in the forum that's why you made this kind of topic, and it's a good decision you made in this matter in honestly. Thanks a lot.

besides that, for me, gambling in other countries may be illegal and for others it is legal and whatever their reason is, they definitely have a good reason for it, and for me the influence of gambling is bad but I hope not led to the banning of this type of industry.
I think sometime we are not even gambling but we lose money and we are in problem and the trouble comes uninvited.
I believe if there is one thing one should keep oneself away from - that is scam and fraud and bad intention.

You have a point but that doesn't mean that we should still gamble because of the fact of we are still losing money even if we don't participate in these activities as there are other factors aside from that.
We must still have the correct mindset to only participate in the said activity when we are searching for entertainment or means to ease blow up some steam in our lives, it is still best to know if we can afford to lose some funds or not.

As for the OP's concern about whether gambling should be banned or not, I stand to allow these activities to continue because the government could highly the revenue that this industry could produce.
Gambling is a hobby like any other. Instead of going to the movies, some people prefer to place bets. The entertainment is the same, only the funds' destiny is different. Instead of spending on tickets, popcorn, soda and candies the money will be wagered for extra profit in case of gambling.

In every cases people are 'losing' money, but only when we talk about gambling it seems to get clear and highlighted.
3759  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casinos You're Playing That Are not On This Forum on: August 01, 2022, 07:10:49 PM
I've deposited and played only at crypto casinos promoted at bitcointalk, but I have already had interest for a fiat casino popular in my area named Blaze which has an interesting rewards program offering free spins as you advance levels on the platform. At first I thought they accepted btc deposits, but later on I saw they accepted only fiat currency, so I gave up.
3760  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Looking to start an online casino on: August 01, 2022, 02:19:38 AM
Hey guys!

So I am interested in starting an online bitcoin casino, yet i have no idea how to start from.
I have a background in coding, and I know the in and outs of integrating crypto, yet i have zero game development skills, and i have no idea how much it will cost, and will it even get users.
Any help would be well appreciated! and looking for partners if anyone wants to start that.

Thank you!
I believe game development skills aren't a big concern, because you can purchase games' codes from some companies. As you have background in coding, you will be able to configure the games as you wish after acquiring them, so you can adapt the style of your platform to the different games disponible.

I know popular gambling websites which didn't fully develop the games they offer by themselves, so it's still possible to be successful doing this.

Your main concerns should be security, initial investment and marketing. Firstly, a kind of hype is needed, so most potential customers as possible will hear about your site. If successful on this aspect, you need a large amount of funds to cover possible initial losses as players win, while having a top notch security system to prevent hacking attempts.
