Also, in the Network section it's set to "Static" should i switch it to DHCP?

It must be set to DHCP that is why it can't connect to the pool server or to the internet it's because of IP conflict and maybe there is another device using the same IP that stops your miner from connecting to the internet.

So you must set it to DHCP to make sure the miner is using unique IP from your router or if you know your router setup you can stay use static and set the IP manually, make sure no other devices use the same IP to avoid IP conflict.
3742  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Asic S19j Pro on: December 08, 2021, 02:37:35 PM
No banks yet that I heard offers loan for ASIC machines maybe in other countries but in my area, they don't allow me to take a loan.

Most banks only give loans to cars and mobile phones but it's impossible to get a loan and tell them that you are going to invest it in a Bitcoin miner.
Why not look for a trusted friend that can give you a loan and pay him monthly?
3743  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Which wallets are the safest and what can go wrong? on: December 08, 2021, 02:14:07 PM
Actually, there is no safest wallet it all depends on how you protect your wallet. Hardware wallets like ledger nano still need to connect or bridge through a USB cable to authenticate your online public wallet. So there are still possibilities that it can be hacked compared to the offline wallet(Never connected to the internet).

For me, if you want the safest wallet offline wallet is the best, and never connect it to the internet or even a USB drive. Only use a QR code scanner if you want to transfer unsigned raw transactions generate a QR code and scan it with your offline laptop/PC. That's what I think would be safe and far from any viruses and malware.
3744  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Possible Compromised Laptop With Seed in Password Manager? on: December 08, 2021, 11:37:28 AM
If you don't have any protection in your browser and in your laptop maybe you have already been infected after you visit the phishing site.

Based on what I experienced if a visits any phishing sites some of them automatically download a file that is unauthorized download and install.
That is why I decided to protect my PC with Kaspersky both my PC and browser are protected by any phishing sites and malware that silently transfer/download files in your laptop/PC.

So maybe your laptop is already compromised. What I think is try to install a Kaspersky total you can use the trial it's free and then fully scan the whole PC and also scan it with Malwarebytes before you access the password manager for safety purposes.
3745  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Antminer S19j Pro - shut down unexpectedly... any idea what happened? on: December 08, 2021, 11:01:25 AM
This is only partial logs from your miner it would be better if you can post the whole kernel logs here not the partial logs.

If you have limit posting the whole kernel logs here you can use pastebin.com and paste the URL here.

Where do you mine?
Recently there are few big pools that have DNS issues that is why some miners have issues connecting to any pool.
I don't know exactly what is your miner's problem but if it's related to the pool then switching to a known working pool will solve this issue. Try ViaBTC they solve the issue with their new domain.

Here are a few of their working pool server below

Code:
stratum+tcp://btc.viabtc.top:3333
stratum+tcp://btc.viabtc.top:25
stratum+tcp://btc.viabtc.top:443
3746  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to back test indicator on: December 07, 2021, 11:54:37 PM
I think what he looking for is a bot that could automate test any indicator and strategies.

There are lots of bots out there to automate them there are some paid and free trading bots. If you want a free one then there is one option that I know you can use to test those strategies and indicators automatically.

Check zenbot they have underdeveloped backtesting scripts that you can find here below

So the automate backtesting script is I think what you looking for.
3747  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Avalon A921 Blue and green Light but not hashing on: December 07, 2021, 11:14:43 PM
Would you mind trying the ViaBTC pool and use the new domain because their .com might be still affected by the DNS issue.

Login on viabtc.net and go to pool>dashboard scroll down and look mining guide or use this pool below
Code:
stratum+tcp://btc.viabtc.top:3333
stratum+tcp://btc.viabtc.top:25
stratum+tcp://btc.viabtc.top:443

Yeah, you will notice the domain extension is different but it's their new domain so don't worry.
3748  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tether fud need to be stopped its silly on: December 07, 2021, 06:02:54 PM
How safe is USDT is? Even it's popular it doesn't make USDT safe.

Does it seem that you forgot about the news before about USDT? It was hacked before and almost $30m was stolen by the hacker.
Read the news here Tether hack: attacker reportedly steals $30 million of digital tokens.

We know USDT was being held by a centralized bank so it is still not safe to hold USDT even they said it was secured there is no guaranteed that your USDT is safe.

About FUD it won't affect the price too much USDT is not actually 1:1 with USD sometimes USDT price is lower around 3 to 10 cents than USD or sometimes it's higher than the USD.
3749  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: cryptotab browser experience on: December 07, 2021, 04:57:58 PM
About the satoshi that you obtain, it depends on the price of XMR and Bitcoin and it also depends on valid shares and hash rate.
The calculation above is for Bitcoin not for XMR.

Cryptotab is not actually a miner for Bitcoin they only pay you in Bitcoin but they are mining XMR that supports mining with CPU.

The only machines that could mine Bitcoin are ASIC machines and nothing more.
3750  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: account with wrong password on FREEBITCOIN, and I can't reset on: December 07, 2021, 03:31:42 PM
Recently there is DNS issues on some websites so clearing cache and history should solve your issue or use incognito mode.

If you did reset your account and do not receive any email maybe it was also affected by the DNS issue recently.

I suggest you better contact their PR from their official thread here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=320959.19560
3751  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Antminer s19+ Error on: December 07, 2021, 03:25:11 AM
Do you have a multimeter?

It seems that capacitors under that mark are short that part might be the cause that is why the other ASIC is not running.

If you could check them with a multimeter if it is short then you can remove that part I don't know if it will work properly without it but based on my experience with any board without that capacitor it should work fine. However, it's still recommended to replace it.
3752  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: avalon 1246 won't hash above 79TH. on: December 07, 2021, 02:23:32 AM
Better give us more insight about your issue if you can copy the miner logs and paste it here maybe we can see the issue.

What I think is that your miner is automatically switched to normal mode. This unit has two working modes (Performance mode and Normal mode.) if you want to run at full speed then you need to force choose the Performance mode under configuration.

I guess 73 you talking about is Fahrenheit not the Celcius?
So if it's 73 Fahrenheit it should be around 22 or 23 Celcius?
3753  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How do paper wallets work on: December 07, 2021, 01:29:21 AM
I have a question also sir as a newbie and curious about this,

If bitaddress.org creates the public key and private key, where we can put that public/private keys? In any wallet/platform?

Thank you

You can import private keys to any bitcoin wallet such as Bitcoin Core, Armory, Mycelium, or Electrum and etc...

But be careful in choosing which wallet you are going to use there are many phishing sites and wallets out there that could compromise your private key. Only choose a wallet that is already well-known like what I mentioned above.
3754  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How do paper wallets work on: December 07, 2021, 12:53:05 AM
They do not store any private keys on that tool it generates unique private keys.
Bitaddress.org only contains HTML documents and Javascript it won't work on any browser with disabled javascript.

If you want to deeply check this tool then go to their GitHub to check their respiratory https://github.com/pointbiz/bitaddress.org
You can also check their old thread here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=43496.0

As you can see it was developed years ago in 2011 and the last update is after 5 years or 2016. If you do not trust their work better use normal or non-custodial wallets like Electrum or Bitcoin core for safety.
3755  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to improve a bitcoin site's Google ranking on: December 06, 2021, 11:51:17 PM
I think their algorithms are often times anti-bitcoin.

No, there is no anti-bitcoin algo their search engine is different compared to their Adwords campaign or Google ads.
Google search treat all website the same as another website any keyword can be used to rank up even Bitcoin as your keyword.
Just follow the guidelines from the webmaster tool if you don't want to be kicked out from the Google search engine.

Here are the proper guidelines for a webmaster
3756  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Antminer s19+ Error on: December 06, 2021, 11:39:43 PM
Would you mind posting the whole kernel logs here?
Maybe there is another issue before the ASIC chip drop to 40?

If this is a hardware issue there is a guide on how to repair the s19 hashboard but the problem you will need some tools to find which ASIC is broken.

You can follow the guide from here https://www.zeusbtc.com/manuals/Antminer-S19-Hash-Board-Repair-Guide.asp

If you can't then you can use Contact ZeusBTC for repair.
3757  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: KMSPico Malicious Windows Activator Stealing Crypto on: December 06, 2021, 05:01:08 PM
I think this is only on the latest KMSpico so the older one can be still used for activating Windows OS.

Actually, I'm only using it just to activate the office but if you use it would directly activate both office and the OS. I'm using the older one with my PC without any problem yet or maybe I'm just protected with Kaspersky total.
So only the latest one is infected with cryptobot malware/virus inside.
3758  Economy / Exchanges / Re: BITMART GOT HACKED $196M on: December 06, 2021, 04:47:36 PM
This is another story of an exchange being hacked actually I do not believe that they are hacked.
From the start, before they enter into this business they should focus on security.

What I noticed is that in every bear market just like before there are some exchanges being hacked so I think this is an inside job I don't have any evidence to provide but since they are planning to compensate their users it might be just a strategy to get benefits selling them right now before the huge price drop to any coins/token they have and then they are going to pay their users after the huge price drop.

3759  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to improve a bitcoin site's Google ranking on: December 06, 2021, 12:38:29 PM
You need to learn more about SEO first before you can rank up on Google. It's not an easy task and you can't get instant results.

If your domain is new then you will need to wait for 6 months to see rankings on Google the right keyword should be what you focus on because after 6 months you will rank up on top 10 or 20 rankings if you did SEO properly. Except on the keyword you use sometimes it's because of many competitors or poor SEO if that's the case it won't be able to rank in the top 20.

Improve your website or forum SEO always remove all spam and plagiarism because your website will be hit by penguin updates that could affect your SEO rankings and traffic and keep your website and topic unique. That's the on-page SEO. For off-page SEO having backlinks on top rankings, Bitcoin blogs, and sites would help to rank up your forum website just like what you did right now you posted a link above it's called a backlink the result won't be instant but I believe after 6 months it would help to rank up your website.

About the AdWords campaign, it won't be easy to get approved by google if you apply to any crypto-related sites. We know they recently allowed it but actually, you can't but if you want to force your website to promote on Google ads you will need to register your domain on FinCEN as suggested on their policy. That's not an easy task even you are trying to promote a forum site unless if it's not a crypto-related site.
3760  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Update Bitcoin Core on: December 06, 2021, 12:20:58 PM
One important note when backing up using that method:
Make sure Bitcoin Core isn't running when copying the wallet.dat file because you might backup a corrupted copy (by a low chance).

Actually, not a low chance it's 50/50 I have experienced before that most of my wallet.dat file is corrupted original file is around 3kb but the copied file is 1kb or 0kb even the Core wallet is not running there is still a high chance that copied wallet.dat can be corrupted.

The best way I think is to move the original wallet.dat and only put the copy of wallet.dat into the bitcoin core wallet folder. So that if the copied file is corrupted you can replace it with a new copy from the original file.
