You are absolutly right.

Lets bet about if more people disagree with you or agree.

Say 5 BTC? If I win I don't pay you 5 BTC and if you win you don't pay me 5 BTC.

Fine?

Not only is this a big mention for Bitcoin, it's also probably the first time Pastebin has made it to the mainstream media Smiley

Huray for Pastebin.

Hopefully it will now not be viewed as evil hacker webside.
3753  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Entire World Just Found Out about Bitcoin! on: September 06, 2012, 09:26:14 PM
Isn't that the right moment to do some advertising?

Doesn't anyone have an account there? Or would this be contraproductive?

Mr Wubbels,

the only thing you convinced me of in this threat is that you are indeed a sockpupped.

This won't work, just try again under a differnt username.
3756  Bitcoin / Press / Re: 2012-09-05 news.bbc.co.uk - Bitcoin theft causes Bitfloor exchange to go offline on: September 05, 2012, 07:20:05 PM
It is very well ritten. But the average office worker has no Idea what unencrypted "keys" means.

They just read hackers can easily access them and steal you money.

Had a lot of explaining to do today.

I explained it like this:

Having unencrypted keys would be the same as if your online banking account has no password and everyone knowing you account number could access it.

Most did understand this. I think I even got a few of my coworkers intersted and they will read a bit more about bitcoin.
3757  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Petition to Shutdown BTC-e and have all assests given back to the tax payers on: September 05, 2012, 07:02:53 PM
Who is Mr Supa and why does he hate BTC-e?

OMG! The Pedition has already 1 whole supporter, I need to move my coins out of BTC-e fast.

...

One moment, If you and this Mr Supa (LOL) are 2 different  persons, should this peditition not have at least 2 supporters? Unless..
3758  Bitcoin / Press / Re: 2012-09-05 news.bbc.co.uk - Bitcoin theft causes Bitfloor exchange to go offline on: September 05, 2012, 01:35:09 PM
Yep this is one of the better articles clearly stating that the theft occurred due to a serious mistake of the owner/operator and not some kind of a flaw in Bitcoin..

But most people don't understand it anyway.

I already got this article from a college nowing I'm into BTC. With the comment, "See I told you its a scam".

3759  Local / Deutsch (German) / Re: Bitcoin Crowdfunding - Los geht's! on: September 05, 2012, 09:46:12 AM

3760  Other / Archival / Re: GET YOUR PYRAMINING LINKS HERE (earn 10% on your BTC) on: September 05, 2012, 09:31:14 AM
You "lend" 15% of your hashing power to your sponsor, 7,5% to your sponsors sponsor and 7,5% to your sponsors sponsors sponsor.

As soon as one account is completed this % moves up the pyramid until it is credited to an active account. If there is no active account over you, you get it yourself.

So level and completion rate of you sponsor accounts directly affects you payout speed.

So if you have a high level account you get faster payout.
Your account will be fully rewarded anyway, this only affects the speed of your payouts.

Before joining you can preview you sponsor by clicking on sponsor in the upper right corner of the pyramiding page.
