3741  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Whyte vs Povetkin II on March 27, 2021 on: March 28, 2021, 09:49:47 PM

Yeah, his age really show in this fight, he is already in his 40's and with the effect of covid-19, it seems it will take some time for him to bounce back and recover.

There was a lot of speculation that Povetkin will have a good showing here, but Whyte really come prepared as he is more focus and really very careful not to get hit this time. It was a calculated risk, and then he caught Povetkin and it's over just like that.

It's the end of the road for Povetkin while, while Whyte's journey continues, there is no call for a third match it's obvious Whyte dominated the first two fights, this second fight is just a continuation of the first fight where Whyte dominate, only that deadly hook ruins everything for Whyte, his option now is open.

Probably there's one more fight left in Povetkin, but if ever he decided to quit boxing for good, then that's his decision. I agree that there should be no trilogy, it was not even close and we really know that Whyte will dominate again if ever there is a third fight.

There are a lot of option for Whyte, maybe Ortiz, Ruiz Jr, Hunter, Parker or Usyk.

Retirement is the best option I think , he is already 41 years old, it's already a big achievement for him to still fight at his age but as they say, he is not getting any younger therefore give this opportunity to the younger generation and he should enjoy his retirement as he has been a sensational fighter once in his life.

36 wins in his career, that's good enough - https://boxrec.com/en/proboxer/318081
3742  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Crypto trading signal work or not? on: March 28, 2021, 02:38:19 PM
I just want to join paid crypto trading group..anyone pls tell me ,this type of group doing scam or not? and does it work?

Signal group, as in signal for when the pump happens?, if it's just that then the answer is no, they do not work, mostly because bots will be buying the mentioned coin/token way faster than you and you will probably end up buying the top most of the time and there's actually more chance of losing money.

But if you're thinking about one of the TA guys that just send buy signals on good trading set ups then that's another story and the best would be to follow some of their free calls and see how they do and whether it's worth it, the good thing about following these signals is that you learn some Technical analysis along the way too and you're not just following signals blindly.
If we are going to rely on them, we are just simply ruining our future then. Not to say that it is 100% of these trading signal never works but it gonna be very closed to that. If we have an idea about crypto trading, will never know why it never works and that because we know that the market is not predictable. Because if these trading signal really works and those people who send it to their members, I'm not sure if they were going to share it but to use it with their own. But it won't and that they wanted to make others suffer losses just like them.
3743  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Madness/Insanity in sports betting/gambling on: March 27, 2021, 10:33:40 PM
I'm not treating it personally.

Regardless of who is sharing, what matters is his prediction and its outcome, if he continues to make good predictions, then eventually his followers will increase and it doesn't matter if we will have to pay as long as we will get our expectation, that's what gambling is for me.
3744  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING POLL ADDED] FURY vs JOSHUA: A Two Fight Deal Has Already Been Signed !! on: March 27, 2021, 10:03:04 PM
Bringing a new trainer or team member to assist in an already established group of highly focused people will create problems. Either a new member (be it Mayweather or anyone else) should have entered the training camp from day one to minimise disruption or should not enter at all.

You have a point though, why would they add new member when Joshua is going great in his previous fights, in fact he loss once in his career and he was also able to avenge is loss afterward, so for me he still looks undefeated which he can certainly match with Fury. He should trust his current staff though, just saying.
3745  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it smart to invest in Bitcoin? or in Ethereum? on: March 27, 2021, 01:59:29 PM
Is it smart to invest in Bitcoin? or in Ethereum? because NFT already in market.
They are both good for investment and definitely a smart thing to do.
is NFT (non-fungible tokens) are really good and proven already? That is something we need to find out before we decide to leave Bitcoin or ETH and switch to NFT. I know it was a practical way to choose which one will give us more profit and which is not. And we have no right to stop you from that but first, we have to know more about the project that we are going to move in just to acquire some assurance.

3746  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Alt Coins to buy with 200$ on: March 27, 2021, 01:39:00 PM
OP, $200 is really that not big to make a decent profit in here but as a start, it was enough. As a student, you don't need to choose numbers of altcoins to invest but just to focus on 1-2 coins. If I were you, I only took BNB or ETH. It supposed to be a long-term goal and there is no need for you to keep checking the market every day.

Cryptocurrency is not a money button.
Cryptocurrency is primarily a technology in its decentralized form.
If you need money then look for a job or additional income, without knowledge of cryptocurrency you'll most likely lose your money.

That is why OP is here as he took this as an opportunity for him to grow his $200. That probably he knows that risk in this field and he is trying to picture it out in order to lessen the possible losses he might get.
3747  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Pundi X - Any store can buy, sell and accept Cryptocurrency on: March 26, 2021, 10:07:29 PM
That's most likely, this is the classic bull run result, or FOMO to be exact, PundiX hasn't really deliver a good progress on their real product, what they highlighted now is just a supply reduction which made investors thought it would increase the price as a result, but that's just speculation though, if the hype will die, the price will go down, expect that.

Investors might be enjoying the ride right now but once the fun stops and the real effects of the latest token swap kick-in then we will see lots of people with losses as the inevitable dump takes place.

Too many token swaps and too many mistakes by the Pundi X management team. They have tried to save the project but to be honest what is left to save? What do they intend to actually save now when they have let investors down?

I agree with you. Most of the big updates here are token swaps. It seems whenever they want to bring in something new, a swap is here. But these are only cosmetic changes, new name, ticker, contract address and maybe a new logo.
increased activity in the last month, I guess it's not because altcoin bull run but "redenomination" does not instil confidence that it is a stable currency.
3748  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it so hard to make one Good coin? on: March 26, 2021, 09:51:56 PM
So basically your problem is only the high transaction fee?

I think that can easily be solve by using an altcoins, I believe XRP is fast and the transaction fee is also cheap, other that XPR, we also have DOGE and TRON, they have good liquidity as well but with cheap transaction fee. Go for a high volume coin, with higher supply and less price, you won't worry enough for a high transaction fee.

Bitcoin now is more for traders and investors, not for daily transaction purposes like payment, etc.
3749  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: March 25, 2021, 10:42:01 PM
Denver got Howard and McGee, Miami got Bijelica, Boston got Fournier. Chicago for Vucevič. 1 hour 20 minutes to go. Now things will got really busy. Markkanen, Lowry, ...

Looks like Denver got Aaron Gordon too. One of the bigger prizes on the block. Woj said that the NY Knicks are finalizing a deal to get Lonzo Ball and the Lakers are making a last minute effort to get Kyle Lowry from the Raptors. Usually takes some time for the dust to settle and deals to finalize even after the deadline hits, so we could be in for a little more news yet.
It looks like the Heat is also trying to get Lowry, not just the Lakers, and I agree with you that we can expect an announcement about the deal with Lowry in the last minutes before the deadline. By the way, the Raptors already have traded Powell to the Blazers.

IMO, it's not a good idea because that is in exchange of Garry Trent Jr. which is doing pretty well this season and the last season as well.
https://www.sportsnet.ca/nba/article/report-raptors-trade-norm-powell-trail-blazers/

Hopefully the Blazers will not regret this trade.

With his increasing stats.

https://www.basketball-reference.com/players/p/powelno01.html

I guess he is a steal and it's just worth acquiring him as he can certainly help the Blazers, he is a great 3 point shooter as well and the best thing is he was a champion, and that's big already for a roster that no experience in championship game.

let's just see but I believe Powell with be effective with the Blazers.
3750  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: March 24, 2021, 10:06:29 PM
I had quite a really profitable night yesterday but I couldn't share it on the thread...

There are so many games lined up for today so picking just one is really hard, but I've however decided to go with Milwaukee Bucks -6.5 vs Boston Celtics...

I'll be adding my player props soon

I would say that's a confident pick knowing how good the Celtics is as a team also. In their previous game, Boston won by 1 point only against the Bucks, however in the last 10 games, Bucks had a good performance against the Celtics who are currently in 4 losing streak, so I guess this pick is good.

Good luck @Harkorede .
3751  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coins are easy to trade? on: March 24, 2021, 02:11:09 PM
You probably know the answer that...
All coins that are listed on the market can easily be traded but the question is that how about the price?

If you want to sell instantly your coin/s, sell at a low price. And if you want to buy, set at a high price. But if you are looking for a profitable buy and sell transaction, you have to look for coins that have huge liquidity, not just to look for a cheap price. It is a big factor for a profitable trade.
3752  Other / Off-topic / Re: Corruption and Sports on: March 22, 2021, 08:59:56 PM
Refs and star players have big impact in the game, so if they'll rig the game it could give a big impact to a certain sport.

I don't think the star players are involved in corruption. The top athletes have very good contacts and earn a lot. Besides, they have contracts with big brands. I don't think they would risk everything for a few hundred thousand dollars. After all, if they were found out that they were involved in corruption, they would lose everything they have.

I don't think a star player would want to put his career at risk. The amount of money they can earn is huge, so it can be very dangerous for them to be attracted to more money. Again many times the intoxication of money prevents people from thinking deeply so they make wrong decisions.

But in the past, many stars were involved in various forms of corruption so that they were caught in such activities. So players often get offers of something huge and they do not hesitate to risk everything.

Most of those superstars in any sports events are already being offered with huge amount it ill lessen the chance of any participations with fixed gamings.

The managements understand the flow of events around this business, in order to secure their assets providing a very competitive
and alluring offers are being provided to every deserving stars.

Though the accuracy can't conclude if there's no big names that's been involve to this kind of activities.

You can't guarantee that though, human  are greedy by nature so even if they are already receiving a huge salary or contract, they can still cheat if it's not that too risky to get caught. Thing is, with billions of money being wagered in sports, a star player depending on how big the league he is playing if he will participate, $1 million could be easy for him in one game and that's a huge bonus aside from the salary they are getting.
3753  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bull run is over? on: March 22, 2021, 08:47:21 PM

I think we should just let people say what they want to say. Bull run over, bear winter coming,,, but the market and the price, the trading volume and the demand from people is what matters. People are not yet over Bitcoin and fiat is deteriorating more and more, everyone wants something to keep their value. Gold is not accessible. Crypto is the next best thing.

The fact that the cryptocurrency market is doing so well this year and I think it will do even better, is not only due to the popularity of Bitcoin. I think one of the main reasons is what you wrote - which is the deteriorating situation and large-scale reprinting of fiat money. This has been going on for years and if someone calls Bitcoin a bubble, he have no idea how huge the fiat money bubble is.

Smart investors understands how bad fiat money is, that's the reason they are shifting to bitcoin or at least moving their fiat to bitcoin, however, for most people, fiat is still the most reliable as it's controlled and created by the government. I believe that adoption in crypto would make the value to grow substantially, but not during the FOMO or hype, it should be in a constant wait but slowly, and what we are seeing now that we are currently enjoying, might end with some big correction.
3754  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk name once again used to fool people by hackers! on: March 22, 2021, 02:12:16 PM
Poor Elon Musk, it's no surprise though, if someone has the name and fame, of course there will be so many people that want to take advantage of those things. But, tbh it's such an obvious scam, I can't believe someone really fall for that. Like, if we think about it logically, it is almost impossible to double your bitcoin in just 30 minutes, even using Elon Musk name, people should be more aware if things are too good to be true.
But well, now things happened already we can make it to be more cautious and careful, shouldn't fall for that kind of traps. It's kinda sad though his name got bad without doing anything lol.
we find it a ridiculous and funny thing that someone had fallen into a very obvious scam. Yes, we laugh at it because we know how a scam works but to innocent people, that simply think of money and double it for just a few minutes, they can be instantly rich. This what we mostly end when we are not asking other's opinions or even listening to others who have knowledge about crypto.

I don't blame Elon Musk for this and probably he never scams a person and a reason that could ruin his reputation. He actually supports Bitcoin and that it gives the advantage for the scammers to use his name in order to trick innocent people and caught in their trap.
3755  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trade + study = great combination on: March 22, 2021, 01:49:58 PM
I think the best possible combination is trading + experience + good platform + knowledge = good profit. There are different things we should consider to make trading. We have different expertise so it depends on their adaptation to the environment they have just to earn profit regarding trading.

Trading becomes harder if your self still in the void.
Two major things that every expert trader should have are knowledge and experience as these two combined are sufficient enough to bring ones trader a fortune and profit. But yes, there are minor things such as the platform, emotions, and capital can impact your trading progress. These minor factors can hold you back from earning and trading on such occasions but in the long run knowledge and experience can make up for those.
Anyway, trading takes time but it also depends since I've known people who got literally lucky on the coin they've invested which boom on the short run.
The successful traders never quit. I know that these people never succeed instantly but they suffered losses at first due to a lack of knowledge, trading skills, and strategy. But that because they wanted to reach their goal, they find a way to improve their knowledge and that it can only be possible if they don't get lazy to study the market behavior, keep searching, and applying learnings from their mistakes.

Trade + study = not enough to win this challenge, it also needs to have strong determination and goal setting. This will create motivation to achieve what we aim for.
3756  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A book to read on when to sell (before a crash) on: March 22, 2021, 01:16:21 PM
Hi,
I need to know APPROXIMATELY when I should sell.

Thank you!
Sorry, but there is nothing to find in a situation where the market is volatile. You can't simply predict the next surge to come nor the dump as well. You can just be a lucky person if you got the timing to sell at high, the same thing we do to buy at a cheap price.

TA's, chart analysis, books, and many other tools used in trading are just a tool, it can't be enough to give us the exact direction where the market trend will be going. All we do are just pure speculations and more often we get wrong.
3757  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Teams on your personal blacklist on: March 22, 2021, 11:06:48 AM
I would never put a team in my blacklist, what I do if I don't like them is I just bet against them, simple as that.
I hope we are talking about gambling here since we are in the gambling section.

When we bet, we just bet on the better team to win against a weaker team, so if we know that a certain team is weak, then it will give us an advantage if we bet against them. For me, this is purely entertainment and business, I'm not a kind of a die hard fan or a consistent hater of a certain team.
3758  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Lopez vs Kambosos ordered by IBF on: March 22, 2021, 10:06:07 AM
Quick update on this fight.

Looks like we already have a date, per Teofimo Lopez it will be on the 29th of May via Triller PPV who won the purse bid for the fight.

Just don't how if this fight will sell to the boxing fans as this date is close to the Canelo vs Saunders bout which will happen on May 8 and the hype for this fight might not be there.

Quote
Teofimo Lopez spoke with Ak & Barak about his upcoming fight with George Kambosos Jr — which he says is happening on May 29, likely in Miami

https://www.badlefthook.com/2021/3/13/22328660/teofimo-lopez-next-fight-oscar-de-la-hoya-originally-co-feature-triller-ppv-boxing-news-2021

I think fans could still save money for this fight, Lopez is a rising star, he deserved a good PPV revenue so both fighters could make good money in this fight.

His opponent is also undefeated but this should be an easier fight compared to Lopez previous fight.
Let's see but I have it Lopez winning this fight and good thing it has been already finalized.
3759  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have anyone tried to stop gamblers from losing while they keep on wagering. on: March 22, 2021, 08:21:42 AM
I don't have the time to worry about others when usually its all loses for me, i regularly bet in dice games and got tired of breakeven profits so i tried to be more greedier and started to bet high amount. That was a mistake and instead lose money even more. Maybe i'll try full time sportsbet my luck might be there or i might get good at it analyzing games.
Especially if you too are losing money, your altruistic nature seems to wane but I mean trying to intervene when someone keeps losing in gambling is kind of rude because you are not minding your own business. I don't think that stopping some stranger from losing money is going to be good for anyone, maybe to someone that you know but a complete stranger or just an acquaintance at the place is a different story.

It will create commotions if you'll going to intervene with a total stranger.

You should mind your own business and let alone the person do whatever he wanted to do with his money.  Whatever happens
it's the owners choice and you don't have any business it won't hurt your pocket if he lose it all or if he bounce back and win
it won't add to your bankroll.

Worst thing is if you will be in trouble because you are not minding your own business, such attitude is not an attitude of a gambler but more on a preacher or something and it's just that the place and the timing is wrong. When someone is losing, just let him lose as eventually he will realize his mistakes.

Gambling is fun and this is only for smart and responsible people, however, we can't prevent those people who lack of control from gambling as they have their money, so they follow their rules.
3760  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Being impredictable on: March 21, 2021, 10:04:56 PM
Anyone there knows techniques or trick to avoid being easy to read?

Simple, learn how to hide your emotion, be more unpredictable so you can maximize your profit if you have a good card. Sometimes you have to convince them that you are predictable in order for you to exploit them. Eventually you'll learn the right technique, but the most important thing is not only knowing the game but knowing your enemy.
