How is electrum centralised when your private keys never leave your pc and you can do what ever you like with your coins. The only thing electrum needs is an internet connection. Centralized mean some central supreme authority watching over you and making decisions for you, decentralized mean no central authority, you are free to do what you like, thats the big difference between Electrum and Coinbase which don't let you know your private keys. Electrum's wallet connects to the Bitcoin network through one of a number of servers. One of those servers is what relays all your transactions to the Bitcoin network. You have to trust the server isn't malicious. If it's malicious your Bitcoins are less secure. With the full Bitcoin core wallet it doesn't matter if your wallet connects to a malicious node because it connects to multiple nodes at the same time, and ignores any malicious one. Is that part of the system decentralised, or is that part of the system centralised?
Electrum is stored on your device but relies on servers for transactions information. Some wallets store the entire blockchain but electrum does not. Wallets that do not store the blockchain locally are called lightweight wallets. Lightweight wallets have to query their servers each time they are run. So are you suggesting me to switch to Bitcoin Core, I can install it in my laptop as in my PC I don't have that much space left. Is Bitcoin core more secure than electrum, if thats the case I am giving it a try, hopefully it will run on Linux. |

yes, I am currently on hold while collecting bitcoin. I have a hunch that is strong enough that the price of bitcoin will be higher than at present, and perhaps when the price of bitcoin rose to the highest price, maybe I'll sell bitcoin I have, then I will bring them together again, well I hope that it will made me get profit very much
That is what everybody is expecting actually, but let me tell you that even if we sell know (I personally exchanged some of my coins to USD now that the price was over 500 USD) we can still make profit, I got this coins when price was 395-400 so I think I acted right as I don't know the future, although I believe price will rise, nothing except death is sure in this world and no taxes are not sure anymore  |

I think you're mistaken. Not your bitcoin address (that's nowhere close to an ID  ), but your ID. A proof of identity. A selfie of you holding up your driver's license, or showing a bill payment receipt. I heard that works. Not at all mistaken, I send them my real ID , jpg format but as I already said they only know I am using 1 Bitcoin address used in their website, they don't know for example if I have 99 other btc addresses so I am not mistaken at all. |

Sorry to hear that, but 2FA is an absolute must nowadays, anyway you said you deposited 0.386btc which you would have never got back as eobot is a ponzi scam, it daily drops the amount you earn until you earn nothing. But I repeat this is an error of the user, 2FA adds 99% substantial security to any account if done right (in a clean safe PC).

Even if some people don't want to admit it , everyone should understand that both exchanges and debit cards services defeat the whole purpose of using Bitcoin in the first place because they ask you to send your real information's while you are probably using Bitcoin because it's anonymous .
So , It really depends on you and you only (and how much you care about your privacy) . I personally wouldn't send them anything .
I will also prefer to not send them anything, but if you need badly that debit card, I can send them my ID. Of course this way they will have only 1 of my btc address, while I can remain anonymous with for example the other 99 addresses I use, so not a very big problem for me in the end. |

Cloud mining most of times is a bad way to invest. The halving can make it much more complicated.
I will not invest in the cloud mining now. I will wait until the S9 comes out and evaluate the situation then. Situation then will be pretty clear, S9 is based on 14-16nm so the performance will much better than S7 , of course we can expect at least 6 months of profit as a beginning with S9 but maybe more so it should be a situation to invest in mining for at least 6 months once S9 comes out. |

That happens when you rely on third party to use your bitcoins, if this problems would have happened in Multibit for example, you just needed a rysync with network and problem would be solved. Not good final score Norrkoping 0 vs 0 Elfsborg no goals really weird usually they always score but not for today Elfsborg controlled the game until the last minute but all the attacks did not succeed Norrkoping defensive play at home with a better ranking than Elfsborg really weird. It may look weird but is not, Elfsborg is the team who have spent most on buying the players, in fact Elfsborg coach needs quite some results as he got all the players he wanted.
