3741  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Are Your Greatest Fears As a Bitcoin Holder? on: January 28, 2018, 01:04:28 PM
in my opinion my fear experience is the value of bitcoin will 0 and about security issues what happen if we lost the private key.

In which is pretty impossible. Bitcoin has a lot of investors and users, yes it is possible, I am saying impossible since it is still profitable for some of the whales and they won't let go of their bitcoin as long as they are earning profit. In terms of security, if you lost your private key, that is not part of Bitcoin's issue on security that will be counted on you being an irresponsible digital currency holder..
3742  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: $500 million go missing in largest cryptocurrency hack ever - News on: January 28, 2018, 12:18:34 PM
i'm using different ip address and password for every exchange i'm on. and 2fa if it is possible. you cant be to safe.
change passwoord regulary and if they hack one you still have all others.

Changing your password is good for your own digital currencies but if we are talking about hacked exchange, even if you are regularly changing it, it will not help.

it has to be resolved. crypto is so fragile right now. we can use a few weeks without bad news

Crypto Currency is not fragile, the exchange is. If cryptos needs an improvement, it will not be on the security but on it's transaction speed and fees.

If you are using a centralized exchange, you are also at risk, no exception, poloniex, bitfinex, binance.. all can be hacked in the future. Exchange is for trading not to hold your coins.

That is the reason we need to be careful. Don't let your exchange hold your coins, just use them if you will be just selling your coins, don't save it there.
3743  Economy / Economics / Re: 2017 Was Bitcoin's Year. 2018 Will Be ....... on: January 23, 2018, 01:01:46 PM
2018 still be the best for bitcoin because the prices keep moving high and bitcoin still to be excellent this year but i'm sure the other coins also will go up

It is 2018 but the price are still not moving high, in fact it is slowly going down. The price of bitcoin is going down so slowly while the price of other digital currencies are having a good pump. We can't say still that this year will be for other digital currencies since it is still the first month of the year, but this month is really bad for bitcoin while it is the best for other cryptos.
3744  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin end? on: January 23, 2018, 10:53:29 AM
bitcoin is the king of coins. I don't think it will end, to be honest. I suggest you still invest in it because its value will still shoot up!

Everything has it's own ending, and I think bitcoin also have it's own it is just that it is not now. Bitcoin will be having a long time of reigning in the world of crypto currency in terms of price and I think we will be seeing a lot of improvements of it in terms of transaction and transaction fees, without those improvements, I don't think that bitcoin will still reign in the future.
3745  Economy / Economics / Re: Can you start from zero cash and make a living with the opportunities in crypto? on: January 23, 2018, 10:11:19 AM
Is not my case, I do have some savings so I didn´t start from absolutely nothing, but I had not much to start with. I am having a decent go at cryptos and I think it may be possible to make a living... What could be a good strategy?

Yes it is possible to start from zero because there are free token or site that can get free bitcoin, but its not that easy and you cant earn in free in just a day, it takes a month. But if you have patience and you can wait then you can earn in bitcoin.

I don't think that is possible. Even if you say that you don't have any money to start with, there are other things you have invested. Not only money are invested, there are also time and also, you invested money but in the way that it is not directly to your crypto investment like your electric consumption if you are mining and internet connection if you are just trading.
3746  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: In what situation would Bitcoin die? on: January 23, 2018, 09:18:44 AM
There will be some reasons but most probably value decrease and government legalization issues. hope it will not happen though.

I think government legalization will not be a problem since there are a lot of people that say that even Bitcoin is banned in their country, they can still use it as an investment online but just can't use Bitcoin in their country. Value decrease is happening mostly, and I think a lot of investors are taking it as an advantage since they want to invest on it. If there is something that will bring bitcoin to die, I think that will be no development and no upgrade for Bitcoin.
3747  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should we support altcoins ? on: January 23, 2018, 04:54:21 AM
yes of course we should support altcoin market because the market cannot survive only on one coin (bitcoin) and there are some project with so much potential even better visions why should we focus only on bitcoin

That is right, there are a lot more digital currencies and not only bitcoin, we are just setting ourselves in one crypto and we are being blind to the new others that has a lot of good potentials. At first I just set my focus on one and that is bitcoin, but while I am here in the forum, altcoins are emerging and they become more profitable than bitcoin through time.
3748  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What to do with the people who don't like Bitcoin? on: January 22, 2018, 04:42:17 PM
It's not really our loss for us CryptoUsers if they hate bitcoin. Unsuccessful person don't really know how to risk, they're afraid to know more things ...

I think it is not that they are afraid to know more things, it is just either they do not care or they know what it is but just have some mistakes that they have done using it. If they do not like it, just let them, I am not the type of people who really forces something into someone that don't really like it. But just clear some facts like there are other digital currency he can use and not only bitcoin.
3749  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: trading or faucits on: January 22, 2018, 03:45:14 PM
The faucets are an almost unreal way to earn Bitcoin due to high transaction fees. You better to earn some scaled coins (for example, Dogecoins) on the faucet and then exchange it to Bitcoin.

Faucets will be the same no matter what digital currencies is in it. If you cannot invest on some of the good digital currencies in circulation, then I think you must find a way to earn yourself in. These forum has a lot of ways to make yourself earn some currencies, but if you have some skills that can be used to them pay you some digital currencies, then use it, it is the easiest way through.
3750  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is Freedom on: January 22, 2018, 12:11:31 PM
Absolutely, bitcoin if freedom. But for a lot of people who didn't understand the game, in these day bitcin is just a nightmare.
Crypto market is a new and risky fiels, with lot of opportunities an lot of dangers.
Freedom, if you don't know how to use it, can be a trap.
It’s freedom, but that doesn’t mean you should put all your trust in it, cause this is just an asset and is mainly for an investment. Tomorrow, there might not any chance to use it as a payment method. I’m just saying, though I don’t really mean it’s bad.

Well even these days you can't pay that easily using bitcoin since the fee are so expensive, unless you are not paying the right fee, you will be waiting days, worst, weeks to send your transaction. It is still not that bad though there are some that can't really keep up with it. I think it is freedom since the governments can't tax your transaction or deduct any thing from your profit.
3751  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is asset, not currency. on: January 22, 2018, 11:20:54 AM
That's because people are using Bitcoin as Asset and the scope of using Bitcoin is kinda limited due to high transaction fees and time, as several platforms are trying to make the faster and minimize the transaction fees, I guess bitcoin will return to its true destiny soon - as a currency.

Bitcoin is not a currency because it is an asset. Asset because it gives profit or income to people in time. As said by Wikipedia An asset is an economic resource. Anything tangible or intangible that can be owned or controlled to produce value and that is held by a company to produce positive economic value is an asset while a currency is a system of money (monetary units) in common use, especially in a nation(Wikipedia). From these words I think it is enough that it is more of an asset than a currency.
3752  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin benefit of saving for a long time? on: January 22, 2018, 10:06:20 AM
It depends on the majority of the marketers we have because every year number of users are increasing in the market due to strong growth in bitcoin. So then if you hold bitcoin for the long term then you will make more amount of money for sure.

It is a good thing that you can get profit out of holding or saving your bitcoin not doing anything with it, it is also safe since you are not moving it to other hands or wallet, it is just there. But I don't like the idea of waiting to have an income. Most of the people do that kind of stuffs but my idea of earning is not mostly waiting but also finding and risking. I can't just be rich automatically if I will just wait and do nothing, it may be common to traders and I sometimes do it especially to some of my digital currencies, but mostly, I invest and risk my money.
3753  Economy / Economics / Re: Is the economy situation in your country that bad? on: January 22, 2018, 09:26:01 AM
No in our country the economy is considered as the most stable economy because despite of all ups and downs in the world market still our country the Philippines can still able to do its daily task.

Not still, but Philippine's economy are now having a good increase. Since the new president, Duterte became the president, the economy of the country are now starting to improve this year. The statistics for the country's economy are still not done based on Rappler.com but I think this is quite an improvement. Well, it is the 17th largest economy in the Southeast Asia and 34th in the whole world (Wikipedia).
3754  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Indonesia bans Bitcoin on: January 22, 2018, 07:57:30 AM
I believe any third world countries banning Bitcoin will not affect the price so much, but I believe its really bad for the Bitcoin ecosystem. the uneducated will think Bitcoin is bad because of government banning, while the truth is a really different perspective.

It will not affect so much but it will have an effect later on. Third world countries bitcoin users are not that many since there are only some people there who are exposed to the technology and know such thing as digital currency. I think the people are not misunderstanding the reason why the government are banning digital currencies in their country since they are explaining it to the people why.

I do not think it is really banned.Maybe at some points there are just implementations of rules that of course you have to follow but they could still not even take to control others to stop or do something they get use to. But of course, you could not expect that think could still be the same.

Yes, I sees it at that way too.
3755  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 60% of world population cannot access computer so Bitcoins will fail. on: January 22, 2018, 07:08:54 AM
...compared to say u.s. dollar bills which you can hold in your hand or stuff in your mattress.

this is why bitcoins will not go mainstream because majority of human beings on this planet do not have access to a computer.

successful gold standards are things like toyota trucks, ak-47's, u.s. c-notes which thrive in places like afghanistan and africa.

This is new for me, I've never thought that there are less computer users than that. I thought it would be like close to 70 to 80 percent of the World population but I think these proves me wrong. Also, not all of that 60 percent computer users don't really know digital currencies but still, I don't think that Bitcoin will fall. The bitcoin price reaches $20K with that population and not all of them really know what bitcoin and digital currency is, so I think it will not fall.
3756  Economy / Economics / Re: Is time too late on: January 22, 2018, 04:53:30 AM
I think still not too late in bitcoin.Time will come that the price will rise again dont lost hope.Just always think positve.

The price is surprisingly stable these days if you ask me, it is now staying at the price of $11K for weeks now and still not moving. The altcoins are the one pumping right now, I don't really know why but I think that bitcoin will be having it' time to pump this year and we just need to wait for it. Maybe this summer since last year it all started in the summer.
3757  Economy / Economics / Re: Cashless society on: January 22, 2018, 04:07:01 AM
Abiky i believe a paper currency less society is possible but not in the recent future. First of all this will require universal free internet access which will not be possible until probably thirty years time that is even if the developed world is ready to make sacrifice to help the less endowed get to that le
Everybody needs physical money.  But what if their is no money in one society its not progressive.  Because all of us needs money.

They can't just remove or replace fiats with bitcoin or any other digital currency that easily. We all know that digital currency is not stable, it is still unstable and not suitable for being a national currency or even global currency. If digital currency is used in a country as such, I think that will be a big threat since the price can be manipulated and that country's economy will be done for.
3758  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best source of bitcoin nowadays? on: January 21, 2018, 03:59:58 AM
For me, this is gambling, but especially sports betting. This is the only option where you know all the variables, and this is near to zero based on luck. Moreover, this is for me the best option if you want to become rich overnight. But! You need to have talent, as trading. This not magical.

Well, not all of the people can get bitcoin there if they don't have any bitcoin to bet with right? So I think the best one and still the common source to get yourself a bitcoin is by Signature Campaigns here in the forum. If you want to invest, then buying is still the most easiest way of earning yourself a bitcoin.
3759  Economy / Economics / Re: Do bitcoin millonaires deserve their wealth? on: January 16, 2018, 11:01:38 AM
It is know that bitcoin has made a few millionaires, but many of these people don´t have any particular knowledge of the economy nor business. Do you think that is a fair situation?

I think they deserve to become a millionaire if they really work hard for it and they do not cheat like they scam, hack or something.

Not all bitcoin millionaires are deserving to be millionaires, why? Most of them work hard and became patient for it while the others bought it, forget it and then just remembered it when the time it hits a good price in the market making them millionaires or billionaires. Still they do not deserve it but it is there, it happened, they become millionaires and the best thing we can do is to continue using bitcoin maybe in hope of getting millions or maybe billions of profit out of it.
3760  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is Freedom on: January 16, 2018, 10:34:09 AM

Yes, Bitcoin is free, Bitcoin is financially free. It does not depend on any particular bank and does not depend on any person or assumption. Bitcoin is free to commercialize. But now there are countries that do not allow Bitcoin
Freedom if we are doing it at our free time, free to invest what we want and how much we afford to, free to choose coins, and for how long we are going to hold it,  I am glad that there are a lot of here people who don't need to work and be at your desk for 8 hours facing your computer for just a couple of dollars.

Using bitcoin is freedom since you do not need anything even a lot of documents and signings. You can use it in everything you need as long as there are people that accepts it. A lot of transactions are close to being anonymous and so you can have any transactions or payments you want as long as you can afford it and I think avoiding crime transactions is good too.
