3741  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: April 17, 2018, 05:29:55 PM
It looks like things will get ugly Bitcoin is currently on its 2 hoursly chart it is forming a Head and Shoulders and we are currently completing the right shoulder. After several failed attempt to go back up above 8,500$ or more we might be going back down below 7,000$ if BTC will not break this formation we need to think of shorting is now until it is up above 8,000$. Volume is also decreasing which is an indicator that the market is still bearish on Bitcoin. MACD also formed a bearish divergence which signifies a momentum going down.
3742  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-04-15] Will Coinbase Report My Bitcoin Gains to the IRS? on: April 17, 2018, 03:21:45 PM
The news article answered it directly:
Quote
What many investors don't understand is that even without the lawsuit, Coinbase was complying with IRS rules in providing certain information returns to the IRS.
But they are only providing information to customers who have at least 20,000$ in cash for sale of virtual currencies. So basically they are only targeting people who are earning a considerable amount with their exchange.

Looking at some response to this news it seems like they are seeing this as something negative when in fact they are helping the IRS get accurate tax information for their government. Imagine a lot of people earning thousands of dollars and not informing it to the government. It would be a not fair for people paying their taxes right.
3743  Economy / Gambling / Re: ▂▃▅▆█ BITSLER █▆▅▃▂🎁3 NEW COINS★★★24nd BILLION BETS PROMO★★★🎁 on: April 17, 2018, 01:27:15 PM
I decided to give the site a try... I deposited a bit of BTC, won a couple games, and requested a withdraw. It has been over 30 minutes now, and the withdraw is still pending due to "manual verification". What happened to the instant withdraws?

I believe instant withdrawals already long gone but it does not mean they have take really long just to let you withdraw some amount. I tried to withdraw every montu and it always be in my wallet in no time, almost instant but of course with thr highest fee as well. Dont you think that by using low fee, you are expecting such a fast withdrawal. It will never happen
BTCevo
He says that his withdraw needs manual verification and that has nothing to do with transaction fees offered by bitsler.
I am on bitsler for more than year and have never had any problem on withdraw, maybe it's new that they do manual verifications on new accounts. I think as you level up, you won't have any similar problem.

I have been on bitsler for more than year and to use a manual verification if there is huge withdrawal as I believe but what I do know there is no way they gonna make this as instant withdrawal without big transaction fee. It is pretty normal thing to have this thing or may be hot wallet is empty they will manually process our withdrawal too
I have also encountered a manual withdrawal during the time where Bitsler suspected something wrong with their system. They suspected that their system was vulnerable because a lot of withdrawal request are incoming but there are no or less deposits made. But the problem was solve quickly went I sent a ticket regarding that, after that I received a reply with the tx id of the withdrawal.
3744  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Question about sending profit to other bank account on: April 17, 2018, 11:22:18 AM
52% extra of what? Are you talking about some kind of tax you be able to skipped if you do this Belgian Bank transfer method? If that man is claiming that technique it is either looking like a big con on his part or he does not know on what he is talking about. One is there is no such kind of tax that is more than 50%, max I see is only 35%. Secondly is after they transfer back your earnings (if you will receive it) you have to be dealing in some kind of money laundering in order to make your bank transfer look like legal, they will question any bank transfer above their limit, U.S. requires KYC on 10,000$ and above transfers.
3745  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price raised by $1000 within one hour. Is it a good signal? on: April 17, 2018, 09:16:38 AM
As we all know that all other cryptocurrencies prices tend to follow the fluctuation of Bitcoin. Today morning BTC price went up by $1000 only just within an hour. It's been a while since this big jumps. What do you guys think? Is it a good signal for all of us?  Cheesy

This raise made a positive impact on the price of bitcoin.By this the new investor will inverse their money. And old investors will buy more bitcoin, finally the price of bitcoin will increase. In a couple of days, bitcoin price is stable. So hold your bitcoin for a week, then you can sell at next peak. The price of bitcoin will reach 8500$ by the end of this week.
It can touch 8,500$ this week but we need to be realistic. Do we really need Bitcoin to go up this fast? I mean 1,000$ in just 30 minutes is fast enough. Rather than Bitcoin gathering up market confidence a lot of people will see this as some kind of huge manipulation. It barely has touch 8,400$ which means the bulls and other people are now scared of attempting another price rally because of how the way Bitcoin broke from the 6,800$ level. If we want to see Bitcoin go up in  good manner we must see it crawl its way back up.
3746  Other / Meta / Re: This guy (or bot) is so crappy on: April 17, 2018, 07:14:56 AM
Unfortunately its more than 100 post in the manner of his spamming, in the span of 4 days he managed to create 336 posts (and counting) and I found where it all started the post seems to be labeled "D1" and something tells me if its not a bot he might be leaving letters/numbers/words after his posts in order to have some kind of signature to identify that it is his post for other members to recognize. In his way of posting I think he is in the thinking of "the more I post, the more chances I will receive merits" which is obviously the wrong idea.
3747  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-04-16] Alibaba Subsidiary Taobao Bans listing of Cryptocurrency and ICO Se on: April 16, 2018, 04:11:50 PM
If they are "Ebay of China" then selling or cryptocurrency services or services in general is not right. The real Ebay for instance only allows you to list real goods and not services, or even products that intend to lead customers to your real business (eg. MLM). Pulling out ICOs and its related services is their right to do as their reputation is on the line if they allowed a listing of a potential scam ICO or service. Handling with real goods is their only option just like how ebay use to handle things.
3748  Economy / Speculation / Re: The importance of staying positive, no matter what (the price is) on: April 16, 2018, 01:45:32 PM
But False Hopelessness is way different from staying positive. I'll give you a scenario you are inside a burning house where you are near from the exit. Will you wait for the firefighters to save you or you can save yourself right away just by going out your front door? See that staying positive in the wrong scenario could place you in a wrong position and I don't think you want to be trap in a burning house waiting for help to arrive. People think just because Bitcoin is going down all they can do is hold on to their losses, what people don't see is that even if their position is on a loss they can still make money just by selling it and also buying it at a lower price. I have done it and now I have accumulated a lot of Bitcoin because of it.
3749  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Which country to Immigrate for making fortune in crypto currency on: April 16, 2018, 08:51:08 AM
Are you earning your money from a U.S. based exchange like Binance? If yes then going to another country won't save you, because even though you can withdraw it from another country you will still be taxed by the IRS. You will still be classified as a "Non-Resident Citizen" where you are earning money from both the U.S. and the country you will be moving in, you will also be taxed twice because of it. A more quicker solution is to exchanging your cryptocurrency directly with a person, go visit sites like localbitcoin and find a buyer with a good reputation.
3750  Economy / Economics / Re: Factor to Consider on: April 15, 2018, 02:30:38 PM
Glad to see that a lot of people have mentioned whales as price movers. But I think they should be the number one or main reason why Bitcoin is moving fast. With the capital they have their buying and selling power could literally influence the market on what direction it will go. Their buying and selling action is so powerful that it can start a panic selling and also a panic buying when they are also buying in huge quantities. It overshadows news, supply and demand as nothing influence it more as what the actions of whales are doing.
3751  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-04-15] Bitcoin is ‘Like the Internet in the 1980s,’ Says Brian Kelly on: April 15, 2018, 12:57:46 PM
I somehow agree on what he is saying. With the internet is paved way on some of the famous websites and services that is being used by consumer until now. With Bitcoin it paved way on Altcoins which are somehow different to Bitcoin in terms of features that have different advantages and disadvantages. Bitcoin's technology is somehow new and I think I like how some uses the idea of Bitcoin in creating their own cryptocurrency. This alone shows us that the cryptocurrency market has a bright future.
3752  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: April 14, 2018, 12:17:19 PM
It is the 2nd time Bitcoin rejects to go above 8,250$ which means we are having off a little resistance in that level. RSI is on the 50 level which means it is neither bullish or bearish but the MACD is still on the bearish side. We might have a little correction and Bitcoin might go down at 7,500$ anything bellow that will mean a continuation of the downtrend. Also to put a lot of confusion Bitcoin has formed a converging triangle which is really showing us that the market is still indecisive on where it will go.
3753  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are There Any Regulations for Bitcoin Casinos? on: April 14, 2018, 10:20:41 AM
That is the tricky part because online gambling on some countries should be licensed first before they can even operate in that country. Now this Bitcoin gambling site do not cater to one country only as most of them accepts players internationally. I don't know whether what they are doing is legal or not but it maybe has something to do with them operating on cryptocurrencies and not involving Fiat Currencies, it maybe is there legal loophole that is why they can operate without even the government shutting them down. They are like Faucet sites or any Bitcoin related site.
3754  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-04-12]Pakistan Disallows Banks from Cryptocurrencies and ICO Transactions on: April 12, 2018, 05:46:33 PM
Another Headline that is misleading the public Look at the official statement that I read on their pdf link. Given in their Twitter Page:
Quote
Further, Banks/ DFIs/Microfinance Banks and Payment System Operators (PSOs)/ Payment Service Providers (PSPs) have
been advised not to facilitate their customers/account holders to transact in Virtual Currencies/ Initial
Coin Offerings (ICOs) /Tokens vide BPRD’s Circular No. 03 of 2018.
It is just a common understanding "Advised" is different from being disallowed, they just merely gave a suggestion to the banks. This kind of headlines intended to increase their audience is really not a good read not unless you do your own research to it. But reading the whole pdf file I am furious to see that even this level of government is still having bad reasons on why they are against cryptocurrencies for the main reason of:

Quote
Virtual Currencies/Coins/Tokens provide high degree of anonymity and potentially can be used for
facilitating illegal activities.
This in itself is something that the government can handle without even cutting out Bitcoin or any other cryptocurrencies. Because if cryptocurrencies is the source of crimes then they must cut out their own Fiat currency as it is doing the same effect as well.
3755  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: April 12, 2018, 03:18:31 PM
So, where are all the bear posters now?
Please post something shitty. So we can all fuck you up real good.

I'll do my best to be bearish for you.    But I was holding because it seemed to me the risk reward didnt favour selling, simple as that.  Nobody ever knows for sure but at times its silly be bearish and thats true when the price is drifting sideways because that isnt a negative.   no news is good news meta, because underlying BTC is progressing anyway.  I often think similar for gold, the dollar has great problems ahead ditto yen and many parts of Europe etc  weakness in FIAT relates to use of crypto

So a negative price target now is 7200 because that was my short term upside target previous.  We broke through, massive bar, big volume thats a good break but also I'd expect confirmation.   So we play out the most negative scenario but even so overall its quite bullish.

There is a theme of surprise to the upside at the moment because short interest is at all time highs.   Which means buyers, forced in the same way leverage buyers are stopped out on the way down and price becomes surprisingly weak there

I dont have it drawn on this graph but 7200 is the long term uptrend line.
I agree we are now in the bullish side of Bitcoin as long as it stays above the 7,200$ line. Next target to confirm we are on a reversal is at least breaking above 8,200$ level where we last know to have took a plunge and reaching as far as 6,500$ level. Reaching 7,700$ is still not a confirmation that we are in an uptrend as this might just be just one last bounce before a big dip will happen.
3756  Other / Meta / Re: Merit requirement for jr.member on: April 12, 2018, 09:27:35 AM
Hi,

I thought merit would help with the spam but i still see as much crap from newbies as before.
Took a look at marketplace and found out why! Jr. member accounts are being sold as well. And for third world the sum is probably quite decent.
Here we go on blaming the third world countries again. Do you have any proof that the ones buying the accounts are from a third world country? Because you are saying that they are "quite decent"? Also nobody told us that the improvements in the forum in terms of reducing spam and shot post will be instant. This people who recently joined or still is in a low rank account still has time to improve their writing skills. We cannot expect them to adjust quickly on the new merit system right away.
3757  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: ECB Official Calls for Tax on Bitcoin Transactions on: April 12, 2018, 07:56:41 AM
And they are right about it. Buying and selling transactions in Stock Exchanges are taxed what made you think that Crypto Exchanges should be exempted from it in the first place? Also a government has the right to regulate something foreign entering their market as it can affect their economy. Simply letting cryptocurrency move freely on a country without enforcing any laws is like inviting and encouraging criminals to make business their. When seeing news like this I see that a government is showing its support on moving forward with the cryptocurrencies, I see it as a good news in the whole market and for its investors as well.
3758  Economy / Speculation / Re: Expected predictions on: April 12, 2018, 06:38:38 AM
I never pay attention to figures mentioned by people to happen within a certain time frame. The only thing I do pay attention to, purely because I'm curious, are certain semi-plausible events that could potentially cause the market to increase again. In the last weeks I have repeatedly seen tax season be the main subject of discussion, where even more high level individuals have stated that it will translate into an increase once we have left that date behind us. If we look at the charts last year, the price did actually start to increase around April 17th, which gives things a tad bit more credibility. I'm not at all expecting it to happen once again, but I'll look towards that date with more interest now.
In my own opinion statements, predictions, as well as news whether bad or good are the same. They are always being linked to price movements of Bitcoin, but its not always accurate. Just like how they predicted that when Lightning Network and also SegWit is implemented Bitcoin's price will soar, which is still yet to happen.

People who are searching for reasons of the price movements will always come after the price movement has happened, which will always be 100% accurate as the price movement of Bitcoin will always come first after the news. If you want to really predict Bitcoin's price movement accurately you must look at its price chart and analyze it technically.
3759  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [11-04-2018]China Launches $1.6 Billion Blockchain Innovation Fund on: April 12, 2018, 05:45:29 AM
Ironic that the Chinese government is willing to invest huge amounts of money into developing blockchain technology when they shut down their biggest exchanges and are trying to stop Bitcoin miners from continuing.

I suspect that they oppose the current incarnation of blockchain tech (Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies) and think that they can create something better for them.  It'll be interesting to see what they come out with and whether it'll be in direct opposition to BTC.
Last time I checked (which was before posting this reply) China's top 2 exchanges which are Huobi and OKex are still currently operational, both of which are in the Top 10 crypto exchanges globally in terms of transaction income. This huge cloud of incorrect information are hiding all the truth away from China, we must know that this country will do whatever it takes to generate more income just to be stronger than other global powers like Russia and U.S. simply banning their exchanges as well as their citizen's mining operation will make them lose a lot of potential income. This news is a proof that China is indeed taking advantage of the blockchain technology and a lot of countries are falling behind from it.
3760  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Does the Media Keep Referring to Ver as "Bitcoin Jesus"? on: April 12, 2018, 04:45:52 AM
I get your point but why do we need to start campaign for it? When he can discredit himself with one false move or when the time comes that all people are not believing him anymore. Just like what Twitter did to the suspected account of Roger Ver, as a result of real Bitcoin supporters reporting the misleading tweets of that account. Price manipulation of Bitcoin Cash shows that he is in fact greedy and doesn't care about other people but other people as well are doing price manipulation especially whales, what makes him different from them?
