3741  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: SCAMMER: ParleFrance scammed me on: December 01, 2020, 12:30:24 AM
I hope you consider this as a lesson OP. I think we all experience this at one time or the other. Make sure to do the right research in order to prevent this kind of stuff from happening. That's the convenient thing about Telegram, you could clear chat for both participants. I hope you are able to recover from that. Don't trust newbies, use escrow.

bruv you okay? and why thefuck there is -2 on my profile
i never ever trade or chat with this guy in telegram
where is your proofs idiot?
and which retards put that -2 on my account for no reason
this kid never had conversation with me outside this forum, thats why he can't provide chat.
his telegram is public and even not registered members can find him and pretend to be anyone.
use brain before deal moron don't blame people who were interested to deal with you
my telegram is public, show proof thats my  wallet or i gave you that wallet
or at least show proof of some conversation or chat
A reaction like this is definitely what a scammer would say.
3742  Economy / Speculation / Re: What's next for Bitcoin? on: December 01, 2020, 12:07:49 AM
We have seen multiple posts on different boards and possible local boards as well that Bitcoin can go to the moon. Now that we are reaching a new ATH, don't you think it's something we should be ready for? There's nothing much we could do but take advantage of it. Imagine being unable to cash out once it has reached a higher high and putting more once it has done its correction. HODL or trade your profits.

I think you might have missed another 0 in your first post. Tongue
3743  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Mechanism of Funding Rate for Perpetual futures on: November 30, 2020, 05:07:48 PM
I think this is another helpful thread for those interested in the possible long-term holding of positions. The topic I linked below talks about where is the best exchange to hold a long-term position.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5293948.0

Anyways, maybe you could create another post for other exchanges and show examples? It would be easier to understand for users who are getting into trading.
3744  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: who are those real rich elite who invest in bitcoin ? on: November 30, 2020, 12:21:54 PM
Would it be a big deal for anyone? I believe that if there are people with multiple followers, they will follow, but do you think it's a wise idea for them? It's not so much-publicized, but I Google searched famous people who back cryptocurrencies and quite surprised by the few listed names.

https://www.businessinsider.com/13-celebrities-who-back-cryptocurrency-and-may-own-millions-in-bitcoin-2019-1#paris-hilton-3

Maybe you could check it out, and please explain why you want to know as well.
3745  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Opening a longterm long position on: November 30, 2020, 12:03:19 PM
It's not bad to open a long position in any of the exchanges. It's just that you need to have extra funds for the actual maintenance fee for your position. As long as your position is out of reach with the liquidation limit and the stop-loss (if you have set it), then you shouldn't worry too much.

Personally, I would use Binance, but it's up to you.
3746  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: PayPal is sending the wrong message on: November 29, 2020, 03:28:00 PM
His first impression was that Bitcoin wasn't even needed at all. And he is right. It doesn't have a use case if it is trapped inside an app and you can't move it.
It's just being used as an instrument to profit from your actual balances in their accounts. I have read a couple of threads about PayPal and into what they have done with it. It's just weird that they cannot get their actual Bitcoin.

This is not Bitcoin that Paypal is offering but perhaps it is something similar to Grayscale Bitcoin Trust stock. It should be classified as such, a share of Bitcoin with restrictions.
People should be aware that this is actually happening. I know some people who have been looking at Bitcoin differently and was taught to see it just as you have told. It shouldn't be like that. I think the truest people who have been loyal to BTC are the ones who have been there from the start. People who have come along the way are looking for ways to profit with Bitcoin.

3748  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stop wishing Ethereum dead or overthrown on: November 27, 2020, 09:52:49 AM
I think those people who are wishing Ethereum to die are the one's trading. Imagine holding a large position, shorting it ever since it was $300, you would really be pissed off with the price right now and hope that it dumps. I think we should all know that they are probably never going to surpass BTC and ETH and they are just out there putting out hate. The scam projects should be the ones to die though.
3749  Economy / Speculation / Re: ATH will be in 2021! on: November 27, 2020, 05:22:56 AM
With the current trend, I think it's not bad to invest some funds on the side, and you are willing to risk. We can never know the reality until it happens. Imagine those people who bought in the 2017-2018 bubble that are looking at Bitcoin now. It has come back, and they probably regretted their actions. I think that's what we need to be on the lookout for, being firm with your belief. Either BTC will rise or not, you should believe and not be emotional about your decisions.

ATH will probably happen in 2021. That's just what I see today.
3750  Other / Off-topic / Re: Ratings and Reviews on app stores can't be trusted on: November 27, 2020, 01:10:29 AM
I know those developers could spend a few thousand dollars to provide their application a "legitimate" review and then turn scam after. You better watch out on the developers/makers as well, you could do research on them and check out their other projects.

Have you been scammed OP?

He could move it there but he is not pertaining to a specific service that has scammed him. I think he just put out his frustrations in this thread.
3751  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: Gigatree - each transactions for a green planet on: November 26, 2020, 04:02:37 PM
Great idea for sure, but I doubt transaction fees would be given to this initiative. Maybe start your mining pool for the benefit of the environment? Source of energy is renewable resources? Better show how you are going to change all this.

It makes little difference as the trees are more valuable today as charcoal.
I disagree with this, lol. Charcoal cannot convert CO2 to O2. It cannot remove the carbon from the CO2, but a tree can. If you compare planting a tree and burning charcoal, you should know what’s better for the environment. Planting a tree, of course. A little bit more planting wouldn’t hurt. Besides, it takes a long time to grow one. It’s better and has more impact in the future.
3752  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: XRP (0.7$) and ADA(0.17$) Crypto Expert Help on: November 26, 2020, 10:32:53 AM
You do know that experts can make mistakes sometimes. It's hard to tell someone a recommendation because if you were ever to act on it and it became a negative result, you would be mad at the expert. I can say that I'm an expert, would you still follow it easily and buy it? I suggest you do your own analysis and learn from it. And then you can only blame yourself and find ways to improve upon it.

Invest it into a learning opportunity, whether it's for a webinar or something. It's still best to invest in knowledge.

3755  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Follow a trading process. on: November 24, 2020, 10:14:23 PM
There is one L that you would experience in trading, Losses. Cheesy

No matter what you do, you will lose, and you will charge it to experience, which would hurt a lot for sure. Even if you follow a trading process, there would still be a trial and error phase because of the assets' volatility, especially in crypto.

Unless you are like a robot, there would still be emotions that could cloud your judgment and possibly give you more losses. I believe that you should have a bot that would trade for you, like Gunbot.
3756  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: I see $0 balance in Blockfi.com where is my money? on: November 24, 2020, 02:27:18 PM
How was the history of your account? Maybe it's just a bug and just needs that Ctrl + F5. Make sure that there are no other people that could access your account. It's unusual only to lose your balance there.
3757  Economy / Services / Re: Bitcointalk Charity Program - Give Hope To Everyone! on: November 24, 2020, 12:06:56 PM
You mean the Christmas activity you mentioned?

If yes, I would love to know where, when, and how I can help. If you plan anything in Bulacan, let me know. We may be able to provide assistance.
Yes. For the Christmas activity. I planned it in Rizal, and I'm still trying to contact people for transportation, and after that, I think we are set. This week we are waiting for different suppliers for their commitments etc. Sure, you could help. Message me with your plans.
3758  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: {help me} i lost my bitcoin on: November 24, 2020, 05:29:09 AM
Did you manually copy the address? The c in the first post should be Capital.

This is the address of OP: 14cac8EzqBKs8Wrwt5ZXippow8ZCmtYfzb

@OP Your accounts are now compromised. You should change the passwords etc. I think that's what you should do for now while waiting for the experts to check who had your funds.
3759  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: {help me} i lost my bitcoin on: November 24, 2020, 04:58:12 AM
The address doesn't have any transaction in it.

Nothing happened. Any idea of how you came up with your conclusion and what wallet you are using as well?
3760  Economy / Services / Re: Bitcointalk Charity Program - Give Hope To Everyone! on: November 24, 2020, 02:41:23 AM
I have already finished budgeting and finalizing my activity and location. I also received some quotations for the items I would be buying and finalizing on how the pick up can be done. I will update my progress here as well.

Don't forget the water since flood victims need clean drinking water, I saw it on interview that they are asking since they don't have any available for now.

Also if there's extra budget they need boots since the roads on every streets are muddy and they need that for extra protection.
I included this in the budget and I would probably include 2L only. It would provide better mobility for the package as well. I like the suggestion of @jamyr but I'm concerned about how they would use it though.

Regarding the shortage of available drinking water, it is more efficient to carry aquatabs because it is very heavy to be carrying that especially in Tuguegarao. The bigger challenge is explaining how aquatabs work.
I'm not sure people would trust to see these tabs and would use it correctly. It's the best solution for the transportation problem but I'm not sure how they would use it correctly. That's my only concern. I would opt to use the bottled waters already and would just hire bigger transportation for it.
