3741  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: November 17, 2020, 12:57:56 PM
Manchester City miss the constant which Liverpool has. They have a lot of up and downs during a season which greatly limit their chances to become Champions this year. They need to be consistent and win the majority of the games and above all to not waste points with the so called smaller teams.Until they fix this chances for them are really low to win the title this year.

Remember also that City have a wider squad, which is generally good for a big team that wants to challenge on many competitions,,, but it does not give them the sort of team cohesiveness that Liverpool (or even Spurs did 2 seasons ago which showed us why we beat City in UCL).

Consistency comes with playing with the same guys in training and on matches.
3742  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin 2017 - 2020. Better price not yet to come. Be careful on: November 17, 2020, 12:14:20 PM
Definitely this is the time to be cautious. On one hand we are seeing new ATH for 2020 time and again. And the charts seem to show us that there is a lot more room to grow,,, but on the other hand we have not seen the much-needed corrections that should give us some safety space to think that we have made consolidations. Still far too early to call anything.
3743  Economy / Gambling / Re: FAIRLAY - SPORTS BETTING for experts - highest liquidity, provably best odds on: November 17, 2020, 10:37:48 AM
Sites have rules, and they have put it there so people can read them and agree,,, if they do not like it, they leave. Sites can choose to enforce, but then you go down a whole different route of enforcement and have to start implementing blocks to prevent people who want to cheat the system, which not everyone would like. I agree like danshan said, if sites do not know how to detect that, they need to stop any business.

Fairlay is OK for me,,, personally feel no need to change anything.
3744  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if China wants to takeover bitcoin? (Assuming controllable majority of hash on: November 17, 2020, 10:05:08 AM
It has been discussed many many times before and the consensus is that there is no one with any amount of hashpower enough to successfully do this.

And in the worse case scenario that it can happen, the majority of hashpower does not equal the majority of blockchain users. They will simply reorganize and throw out that bad actor.
3745  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔶 YOLOdice.com 🔶 commission on LTC investments is at 35% till 31. Dec on: November 17, 2020, 08:37:04 AM
Agree with above comments that we should not be too overly worried, my post was not meant to do so. I believe the updates coming have always been well thought out, as was every decision, from bringing back investments and also from the point of wager contests.

I have been seeing my referral numbers also stagnant a little,,, still increasing but probably more slowly from before. So I wonder if it is just a period of low activity for anyone and everyone.

Agree with maus also about Lightning (which I mentioned before). Maybe this is the way to do it?
3746  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: New way to do an ICO safely (DeFi Project) on: November 17, 2020, 06:38:30 AM
Does anybody ever heard of initial curve bonding method? I read an article about it recently but cannot remember where (Hackernoon I thought but now I cannot find it),,, basically the token supply is not fixed and adjusts to how much people buy. Buy more and more supply is produced. Sell it back and supply is burnt. So apparently price adjusts accordingly. Seems a fair deal for me. Thoughts?
3747  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io Betting discussion thread rev on: November 17, 2020, 06:07:38 AM
Oh wow the new one is already up so soon. The last 5 games ended up all being favorite winnings at home,,, so I lost many points there in the end. Second place is always the most painful, as a Spurs fan I know that very well so we feel for you arralmuus:)

But we all try again, right?

Leicester to beat Liverpool? The entire defence is injured, plus their captain,,,
3748  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Chainlink is a shitcoin and will dump to zero on: November 16, 2020, 03:36:43 PM
You should not take a joke created by chainlink hater as a serious thing that needs a lot of attention.
It's normal to see there's someone or even groups who have been hating the coin due to the various reasons like it was making their portfolios in the competitor of chainlink dumped so hard and many more.
I have been seeing the same case so many times. It's mostly of the haters who came from the supporter of a competitor.

This is just a common thing for sure.

I am not a Chainlink hater, this coin cannot even get me to have any passionate emotions about it;) But for me,,, one clue to show that the coin actually really does not have a real utility is when people seem to rise up to defend it. Bitcoin defenders are different,,, they laugh about it and then also just get so unoffended. Because unlike shitcoins, they do not need to be worried about competition. Competition should be good!
3749  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: November 16, 2020, 02:07:25 PM
It's not really an issue that they will find adequate replacement(s). I am confident that they will do so. But Alaba is only 28, he can still play some years on a world-class level. And where ever he goes, it really sucks that Bayern don't get any financial compensation for him.

Also the way Bayern is handeling the situation with Jerome Boateng isn't really how you should treat a longtime and valued player. Apparently nobody told him that they won't extend his contract and that he has to leave the club ...

What really really gets me about all these so called big clubs is how terrible they have done their normal relationship management. I know in some countries without transparency or where the state sponsors a lot of clubs, you get this lack of clarity about salaries and status but when you hear about things like this in big clubs, it really, really gets to me. They really just do treat humans like meat it seems. I would tell all those players to get out and play where they are considered like real people.
3750  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are we getting better over the years on: November 16, 2020, 12:51:07 PM
Adoption wise we are better as people who previously said negative about bitcoin, themself have started adopting it. So this proves that why bitcoin is here an going to last for long time. Scam would continue to happen as newbies fall in the trap easily but over time it will get much better and will be reduced as well.

Nah,,, I think there is no difference. In fact, I would rather people who are not convinced at first and negatively view Bitcoin then go through a whole period of education and awareness before finally adopting. Then what you get are people who have been convinced. Even in real life you can see,,, the ones who are most fanatic are those who are converted;)
3751  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔶 YOLOdice.com 🔶 commission on LTC investments is at 35% till 31. Dec on: November 16, 2020, 10:52:37 AM
Not so very sure we can correlate the lowering in userbase and volume to the bankroll of Litecoin,,, after all, I see the same happening even with my referral numbers during the period plus in BTC. I do agree the wager competition probably has to become a lot more interesting for people, although out of curiosity I wagered last week on almost 2 days of autorolls and saw I was in around 44th place. In the old days I remember I can go much higher, so maybe volume is not as low as we think?

Have to really dig through stats but could be a way to look at long term and current effects. It must surely not just be about the bankroll effects though.
3752  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BCH panic sell - Support and Resistance Levels - Binance+Kraken Responsibility on: November 16, 2020, 09:33:40 AM
People need to get over the hysteria of forked coins,,, BCH to be fair I give credit they actually still survive after 3 years but as you can see from the value it is really just a handful of people. Other than places that already accept Bitcoin, I have never in my life seen anyone ask for BCH payment or even seen a BCH wallet. Sorry but this is unnecessary stress on a limited ecosystem.
3753  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin dominance hits 57.7%, alts lagging behind on: November 16, 2020, 07:03:52 AM
Bitcoin shows everyone else again time after time that the true value of crypto lies not in all the hype circles of altcoins of ICOs and STOs and IEOs and DeFI,,, but in actual coins with actual utility.

Of course, we will continue to find other uses and other things. You know people will keep on coming up with them. But you cannot go wrong with faith in the one true coin;)
3754  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io Betting discussion thread rev on: November 16, 2020, 05:59:16 AM
It seemed so good the first few games, but yes, I picked many draws that did not at all turn out, and it was a night for favorites on Sunday mainly, which means anyone who did not pick them would not have done well.

Congratulations to our topper arallmuus!

3756  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA EURO 2021 Discussion Thread | Current Phase: Qualifiers! on: November 13, 2020, 02:38:15 PM
I'm not happy about today's results at all. All 4 teams which I preferred to see in Euro lost their games.
North Macedonia qualified to EURO for the first time in history. It's nice that their legend, 37 years old Goran Pandev scored decisive goal.
After amazing performance in Euro 2016, this time Iceland failed to qualify. Pity for them, they didn't played bad today.
Scotland qualified to major tournament for the first time since 1998. They won after penalties, bur IMO they deserved it more than Serbia. Maybe now England, North Ireland and Wales fans will stop laughing from them Cheesy.

I never thought North Ireland would be laughing when they are equally poor in terms of football quality:P But yes, nice to see that and as I commented in another thread, nice to see teams who attack all the way to the end get what they deserve (except North Ireland who drew and then lost in the additional time).

Serbia losing probably is the biggest upset of the night even if because of penalties.
3757  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: help me analyze/predict YFI on: November 13, 2020, 12:41:05 PM
Hey, I'm kinda new to this world and I tried to analyze how will YFI perform in the future. I have also done some research and saw some graphics but since there are a lot of opinions and it gained a lot in just a week I would like to know yours.

Will it renounce to 40k again? Is it going down even more than the first time?

Thanks!

This is that same coin created by that guy whose first coin was a failure right? For me it seems pointless to try and analyze all these defi coins. Especially suspicious when the coin pumps so fast so soon when there really does not seem like there is a future for growth. Lots of opinions and they seem all equal to each other when you look at them. Utility is similar, so is the hype:)
3758  Economy / Gambling / Re: FORTUNEJACK.COM |Deposit 777 play with 1777 mBTC |Live Casino, Slots, Betting on: November 13, 2020, 12:03:07 PM
super slow withdraws, rude customer service.
do not recommend at all.

Hmm,,, not my experience. I was requested to confirm the withdrawal manually by email is all that happened but it withdrew almost immediately after that.

He's trolling.  I could be wrong but I think online books outsource live support to third parties which employees are trained and maintain a high level of standards of dealing with customers.

I think so, but not for crypto ones. Stake have people actually employed by Stake, same as other support at crypto ones I have used. FortuneJack I think so too as my support email came direct from them and they knew the site unlike normal bookies who seem to not even know their own site.
3759  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: YOUC a good example of project recovering from dump because of it's potential on: November 13, 2020, 10:51:00 AM
Hard to say a coin has recovered when it is still only 2% of the ATH. I mean, ETH fell to below 8% of ATH, and others like Litecoin also did the same, and Dogecoin too;) but these to me are what tell us are good coins. They will drop maximum 90% and not for long, and stay long periods in between 10-20% but eventually, they push back.
3760  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: November 13, 2020, 10:18:12 AM
Sadly there won't be any PL matches this weekend. So it's going to be a boring weekend. But I might check out UEFA National league. There's some good fixtures like Portugal vs spain.

That aside, looking at the current premier league table, I have a feeling that we would see a similar standing before the first half 9f the season comes to an end. Leicester, Southampton and Tottenham looking really good thus far.
In Pre-Season Aston Villa was @1000 and three new entries in EPL was nearly around your figure like @2,500 or some sites was offering near @5,000 for them as they feel these are very weak to acheive this mission.

The chances of Aston villa winning the title is pretty slim despite some impressive performance so far. At best, they would get either an Europa or UCL slot.

Ronaldo will play again for Portugal do you think? Some of the best players playing will make it look interesting for Premier League I think. Usually those who play well, come back and play better for their teams (thinking like of my very own Harry Kane for example).

5000 odds for a team to win? I do not think anyone did that anymore after Leicester;)
