3761  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SQUID GAMES TOKEN CRASHES on: November 05, 2021, 01:10:13 PM
I saw how were the people promoting it thinking it will become other cryptocurrencies like bitcoins or other top altcoins where they think success in the crypto industry just like that. where you will gonna just choose a random token and when you see people flocking to invest in it in a crowd, you just blindly follow them without a second thought. Man! we are talking about money here, all your move needs second thought where you don't want to doubt your decision. They've just become victims of pump and dump coin where the owner of the coin uses the popularity of the drama (Squid Game) to convince their investors about their tokens.
3762  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: November 05, 2021, 12:37:20 PM

They have Davis and Westbrook, these two are high paid players and the main star of their previous team, so there's really no excuse, they have to understand that if they can't win against non playoffs team, how can they win against strong teams that are consistent in the playoffs?

They should know that to be defeated by the OKC two times, will make them prone to lose their spot in the playoffs. I mean, if they continue to give easy wins like that, they might find themselves struggling to get to the top 8 again. They need to sweep those easy teams and continue to gather wins as much as they can to hold their spot in the Top 5 in the Western Conference because if they continue to lose like that, we will see another Lakers Team again just like what we have seen the last season where they barely make it to the NBA playoffs.
3763  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Best thing you bought with Bitcoin? on: November 05, 2021, 09:13:28 AM
Bought some PC parts and some books from my earnings in my signature campaigns. I have 70+ books now which range from 20$-100$ all bought with bitcoin earnings from signature campaigns. There are also lots of things I bought from an online shopping store where they also accept BTC as payments. I cannot count how many items I bought but there's is only one thing I can say about it, through the years until now, I haven't encountered any problem using it.
3764  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: November 04, 2021, 12:16:06 PM

JP3 already had the potential, he just really needed to improve his decision making, I actually like how Curry and Draymond are to the young guys, not putting any pressure and hyping them up, I like how Curry doesn't use his accolades as something to put pressure on his teammates, JP3 could potentially be the next all-star for GSW, let's not forget the high school star rookies, Moody and Kuminga.

Their roosters besides their star players can also lift the team to win the games what more if Klay Thompson will play again this year and rumors that he will be playing this December. every GSW fan has been waiting to see back their lovely duos that will bury back-to-back threes to bury their opponents with points. It's been a long time since we saw GSW score like that with Klay. It's been good news from his side while he is practicing he managed to do those things when he was healthy.

Quote
Klay Thompson was in full uniform in Warriors’ new ‘City Edition’ jerseys!
Klay nailed a bunch of threes in a row & even threw down a dunk! 💪

3765  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Necessary reminder: watch out for $5 wrench attacks on: November 04, 2021, 11:32:33 AM
This is why you should make sure that you don’t have access to your coins. There are people in this world who will take your life for $50. You can take every security precaution available and still be at risk. I have a similar take on passwords. I have no idea what my bitcointalk password is, so I’ll never have it stolen from me by force because I don’t know it. The downside to this plan being that a pissed off criminal might murder you anyway, or make it look like you drowned.

That's why I'm against wearing a printed T-shirt that has a print of symbols of cryptocurrencies in it because I often walk alone and I may not know the people I encountered on the road maybe some of them will hunt me thinking that I'm one of those whales who owns a huge amount of cryptocurrencies. In this era, we need to stay low-key as if we don't own anything in this world. Sometimes when you hide who you really are, you always free and no need to hide from anyone.
3766  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's so “convincing” about Craig Wright? on: November 04, 2021, 03:36:14 AM
Just as there are people who put up altars and pray for Pablo Escobar, there are also people who truly believe Craig Wright is the real Satoshi Nakamoto. In other words, there are people who are extremely misled. Indeed, there's more than a handful of them. Calvin Ayre of CoinGeek is one of them.

What's amusing is that just as we are confused why these people believe in Craig Wright as the real Satoshi, they are also confused why we can't see the obvious thing that Craig is Satoshi. It's a funny thing.

You're right and Craig Wright is a decent guy who has a lot of money and connections. that's why some people believe in what he is blabbering about him being the real Satoshi. Unfortunately, these people will not go anywhere and as days pass, they will realize that they are on the wrong side where they only get false promises from him which will never gonna happen anyway. The only people left there will be those fools who still think they are now one step closer to changing the fortune of their life.
3767  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: November 03, 2021, 12:46:57 PM
Miami Heat has made it in the finals like 2 seasons ago. While the Utah Jazz was the top team in the West last year, so I would say it is expected of them to be good this season.

But the biggest surprised is still the Bulls, they have ensemble a good team this year to help Zach Lavine and it really pays off big time for them as there on the top now.

I hope they continue to dominate every team in the NBA and continue to make their way through the NBA playoffs. It's been a long time since they were having this kind of record and they just start to win every game from every contender team. I think we can really say they are improving and finally can face every team in the NBA with no problem. They might seem struggling at first in their last game but their comeback was amazing and shut everyone chants inside the GYM.
3768  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China Ban and the mining exodus on: November 03, 2021, 12:15:47 PM
Good for their neighboring countries since they're where the miners will go first but it's still a consideration about the electricity cost if they're cheaper or close to what China has. I just wish that the Chinese government won't chase those miners especially the bigger farms that have been operating in their country and then forced to rehabilitate because of the policy that they've implemented about mining which made them ban it.

The good thing about it is the other countries are open to it and they could choose which countries they wanted to migrate to and they can spread from one country to another to avoid congestions and I think Canada is offering them a secure place to build their mining facility without fearing for a possible ban again. In other countries like Iceland, although it's a country where it's nice to build a cryptocurrencies mining facility, they cannot flock to build there in one place, they've been spreading all around the globe to avoid getting banned again in one single place.
3769  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: if country has fully adopted crypto and they are releasing their own stablecoin on: November 03, 2021, 09:35:01 AM

If they released an official stablecoin and it is much more convenient to use than mainstream crypto like Bitcoin, it's pretty obvious that people would use the stablecoin. Especially when we are talking about fees and transaction speed. Stablecoin can have those advantage.

Of course, people will use it and make it like the traditional stable coins where they will gonna convert their BTC and other altcoins to it. so it will remain at the same price when it was in its ATH. It's helpful to have a stable coin with us and what more if it comes from a country where you could convert it easily to their local currency. That would be great for us and will be convenient for the others who don't have any technical knowledge on using exchanges.
3770  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Lomachenko vs Commey - December 11 on: November 03, 2021, 08:54:51 AM
Finally a good (or I'd say better) opponent for Lomachenko. His fight against Masayoshi Nakatani was quite easy. Commey is not an "easy running" for Loma.

I would not say that Loma is getting left-over from Lopez, he is just chasing him Cheesy Soon Lopez will run out of opponent and they with Loma would be again. Now that will be a real exiting to watch. To watch if Loma could regain his fame and titles, or Lopez prove his words that he could beat him anytime anywhere".

It will be possible for him to fight back against Lopez after he defeats Commey in their upcoming fight. I think it's better for him to clean up the mess first for his warm-up before being given back chance to fight Lopez to regain back what he had lost. That's just how boxing works, when you are a great fighter and knocking down opponents, there will come a time when you will face another man who is greater than you that will knock out the best of you but as long as you are fighting, you always have a chance to try to beat him back.
3771  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrencies in Schools on: November 03, 2021, 08:14:16 AM
There are already some courses that will teach you regarding cryptocurrencies and blockchain courses but are only limited to some sites. You can look at the lists here: https://learn.saylor.org/course/view.php?id=468 and learn how they effectively teach people about it.

I'm sure if you follow the step-by-step guide, you would have an idea of how they will be in schools.
3772  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: November 02, 2021, 01:01:58 PM
But they have to find a way to make a profit on this fight as this fight will happen since it's a mandatory fight. Both fighters are just waiting for the schedule of the fight to be announced by the promoter so they will start their training. Don't make that promotional thing the main concern here, it should be the readiness of the boxer as without them, no fight will happen.

Casimero should find a way to knock out his opponent to show everyone that he reached the peak of the battle in their division and all he needs to fight is Inoue because we cannot deny that he is also getting old and he might lose some of his skills and stamina and they delayed the fight next year. I mean, what's really the problem of how they weren't able to do anything to make this fight come true? I hope they won't consider money as the priority if they really wanted to be the unified champion in their division, they should fight whoever is strong.
3773  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Verified Information - Missed Opportunities on: November 02, 2021, 12:27:06 PM
I think there are lots of people like him who sold it when the price was increasing a little and regret by the time when the price was increased 10 folds. Now it increased thousands of times after 10 years and not only who are those who bought it from the start regret selling it in its early days, those who didn't even pay attention when was bitcoin introduced to them are now looking back and regretting it as if they've just lost a chance to turn the table of their life. Too many people have lost their chances of gaining huge profit when they didn't even care and now they are trying to get on the train with the current price on the market.
3774  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Gambling increase due to the pandemic, stats, UK on: November 02, 2021, 06:43:02 AM
I tried to reread the article again and felt that the writing of the author of the article looked ambiguous, the percentages generated from their research were really confusing. however if the data they produce is correct then this is serious homework for the UK government, they must urgently provide a healing place for those addicted to gambling during this pandemic.

Obviously, the new numbers are from those who have stuck in their homes during the last lockdown and they are probably don't know when to stop especially when they are feeling the excitement, and at the same time, they both win and lose. They really need to make some advertisement to counter the increase and to let them know how to be moderate on anything.
3775  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Tesla make 1 billion profits from it Bitcoin holding on: November 02, 2021, 04:00:24 AM
This is the motivation for us to follow Tesla, I believe the big impact of Tesla investing in bitcoin will make many big companies to enter bitcoin, and this makes me optimistic that the future of bitcoin will continue to shine and this year can reach at least $100k .

It's not a problem to invest a huge amount of money as long as you know what you are doing and you have confidence that the result will gonna be the same or more than you expected. But as most of the users here say, bitcoins don't really need you to do hours and hours of research because people have already done it for you. All you need to do is invest in the right time where the price is not at its peak and when you found the right timing, all you need to do is patience and perseverance because the wait will gonna be long but surely have good results.
3776  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: November 02, 2021, 03:29:26 AM
Did anyone also just watch Celtics blow a 12 point lead at the beginning of the 4th and lose the match by 14 points at the of the quarter, fr Huh!

It's the second game in a row they're doing this, the blew a 9 point lead woefully just a couple of days ago at, that's with a few 2 minutes plus change minute at OT. Damn, I can't kind the right words, "🤡🤡🤡" would have been a befitting costume, If that's what they all dressed up for hallowing as

The comeback by the Chicago Bull to keep their number 1 spot is amazing where they able to beat the Boston Celtics with awesome runs in the 4th quarter where they were behind by 19 points.

You can't really close your eyes with this team or else you will end like the Boston Celtics.

3777  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SHIBA Fever on: November 02, 2021, 02:56:38 AM
those who use the word SHIBA generally want to get the hype share,
somehow when more and more popping up people will get bored assume SHIBA is something common and notting special.
and I've never been interested in meme coins no matter how much hype there is in the market, because one day the market it will self-destruct.

I think like the other platform or project that has been trending the last few years back, it will also get old and another new project will overtake it. But right now, they all have the means to get that popularity since everyone has been talking about how successful they are investing in one of the SHIBA projects. I wonder, up to how long it will last, and do we still have a chance to choose the right project to invest in?
3778  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] Logan Paul vs Mike Tyson on: November 01, 2021, 01:16:37 PM

You are wrong, Logan is not blooming because he has not won a single fight yet, but his brother probably affected his career so he also become popular in boxing. But either way, it's just an exhibition fight and both Tyson and Logan have a huge fan base, so this fight will certainly generate the income they are expecting to flow.

What's important with this fight is money and the result might not as we think since Mike is already old, he might get some offers from Paul that their match will gonna be a man to man fight. Without just making it just like the last time where he got the win from his last opponent. because obviously the fight was rig and fixed.
3779  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why ethereum gas price is very high? on: November 01, 2021, 03:45:49 AM
I try to stay away from any ETH tokens as we speak, even withdrawal from cex exchanges are insane and yes uniswap is the worst of them all, most of my tokens are on matic and BSC chain, if market pumps harder in coming months it will be very difficult to buy ETH tokens

Ethereum blockchain is not reasonable anymore since they don't fix the fees and when you only decide to send small fees, you end up paying more than you send for the transaction fees. I wonder how will they be able to fix this since no end to this kind of problem since everyone is rushing to send their transactions, they don't really like to wait any longer. They just gonna pay whatever the current gas fees are and it will continue like that till the gas fees rise in just an hour.
3780  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: November 01, 2021, 03:13:37 AM
I'm currently watching Lakers vs Rockets and LBJ is playing along with the other star players and they are leading by 12 at the end of the first quarter. can they keep it up?

Looks like this will gonna be an easy game for them, they won't gonna give this one easily since they already learned their lesson vs the OKC last time.
