3761  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: EHERUEM, THE BIG GAME THAT SPOILS THE SHOW. on: January 08, 2021, 05:31:23 PM
2020/2021 a year of rocket for crypto world. But not so convincing as the second largest blackchain (etheruem's gas fee) is making it impossible to justify your explanation to newbies.

A clear situation where a newbies buys an altcoin, tending to sent to his private wallet and his meant to pay 50% fee for the transaction.

I just wished for eth2 comes as quickly as possibly to set us free from this gas fee assassination.

Gas fees will be constantly changing in ethereum network so don't consider the high fee will remain the same. For now the network is clear so you can pay less or just wait for the network to be completely clear if you don't want to spend huge money on your transaction cost. Well this is not the only issue with ethereum its just common at the time of bullish trend.

binance locked my account within 1 trade...
In one trade? So what you actually done there?

Deposited everything at once and traded there or part of it? Quite shocked after reading the locked when you quoted my post.

Well, Binance isn't anonymous nor is it fully KYC-free, at sums as large as almost 800,000$, I am quite sure they will request identity verification to proceed with the withdrawal.

OP, your best bet is Bisq if you really want anonymity and privacy. Exchanges keep your IP and fingerprint besides deposit/withdrawal addresses. It might take a while as liquidity isn't Bisq's best feature, but privacy always has a cost.
When there is not enough liquidity for the coin which OP wanted to trade on bisq like platform then he have no other choice than choosing Binance where no need if KYC for anything under 2BTC per day to withdraw.

Binance is the best place to convert such big amount without KYC because other p2p platforms will have liquidity issues which may take too longer for the trades to get completed.
If the exchange has a KYC program already in place that means they can force anyone at any time to comply with it and block their accounts with their funds until they submit their documents. It is not wise to use centralized exchanges if you are looking for privacy and don't like to give up your documents to strangers!

I would also advise against using stablecoins for storage under any circumstances. They are highly risky even if it doesn't look like it because they are all centralized altcoins.
Yes, exchanges may ask for verification if they found any suspicious activity like change of location too often or the trader follow particular pattern for withdrawal amount every day alart from this there is less chance for KYC verification as far as I experienced.

Which you planned to buy with bitcoin? Better consider alternatives of USDT like DAI which are truly decentralized.
3765  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: First Bitcoin Transaction and i dont know where by Bitcoin has been sent on: January 08, 2021, 02:36:23 AM
Is zengo wallet is actually a legit one meh? Haven't heard the name anywhere but there is no scam reports yet available and its actually not really a new wallet.

If the wallet is legit then OP send the funds to the wrong wallet by mistake or just by the malware installed on his device.

OP, anything confirmed on bitcoin network is irreversible so you need to make sure the address twice or thrice is accurate before sending your funds.
3766  Other / Meta / Re: How about new sub section 'Investment discussion' on: January 07, 2021, 04:42:57 PM
I am actually interested in reading such discussion all around the internet and in bitcointalk economics section occupied such kind of things but mostly generic than any actual discussion so even if we create a new child board for investment strategy discussion still it may leads to spam but good to have if it is possible to put heavy moderation like what we have in mining section. It is clear you said:

Quote
Cheating is also an art which needs some special skills so I will call it as smartness to be honest but its morally wrong and discouraged for sure.

But never mind. I can accept it, and I can apologize to you if feel what I am saying is not right for you.

I do not think that the casino will cheat the gamblers. Even if they cheat us, we can not do anything because that is their business. If they cheat, we can move to the other website, and I am sure we will find it easily. But so far, I never think about the casino cheat or not because I do not think too far about that. All I want is to playing gambling, that's all.
Even looked at my previous posts where I can't find when I said cheating is right but never mind.

Casinos are not cheating us, they are working based on the structure they made centuries earlier but just look at it deeply gambler has less while house has more chance then is it not fair right.
3768  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The gambler who manages to beat the casino through cheating on: January 07, 2021, 06:49:25 AM
I agree to that but we should bear in mind cheating is cheating. Exploiting somethings flaw doesn't make you clean, and there are rules that you agree to before playing so you should as well follow them and never cheat against the casinos.

Even if that is art, but if someone is cheating, that means still cheat. But yes, it will need special skills, and not many people can do those skills. But it is too risky to do that thing because if the owner knows about cheating their system, I am sure the owner will try to catch them and get them to jail. Well, there will be people who still try to cheat the system, but only some people who can succeed to get the casino's money.

I never said cheating right, just said it is also a skill which can't be done by someone like you and me against the secured casino interface.Well Did you ever felt that we are getting cheating by the casinos all the time since house has winning percentage of 90% but when the player has only 10% which is also unfair and can be considered as cheating right?
3769  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: PornHub on: January 07, 2021, 02:36:18 AM
Seems like the crypto plan has failed from the start and they are starting to beg Visa and Mastercard to get back.
No surprise here, who will spend cryptos right now, not only on porn but on much anything? 0.01% of previous customers?

Pornhub just removed most of its videos

I looked in the archives and indeed this is the case on 18 Nov 2020 the archives show 13 million available videos.
Right now there are barely 3 million, I wonder how the sales have gone down, probably to less than 1%, manyvids and onlyfans are probably right now praying to every god in the universe to not become a target.

I wonder what's their next move, accept ripple?  Cheesy Cheesy

Seems they are removing videos for violence like child abuse so basically they will allow only verified users to upload content on their website from now on which has positive and nagative side for both the user and the site itself. I don't think there is not going back to cards by porn hub they may advertise more about crypto and will help the crypto adoption. Cheesy
3770  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: how to sell own erc20 token on exchange website for free on: January 07, 2021, 12:51:47 AM
yes you right but i have token and i don't want to trash my token
Your product token will have any value only when it has demand so you are the only person having the tokens then it won't be having any value even if you list on any free exchange. Lot of process involves in creating a project and advertising it and creating a community which you don't have any knowledge about so better leave your token as it is and learn the other things about ICO,IEO,etc.
3771  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The gambler who manages to beat the casino through cheating on: January 06, 2021, 01:11:44 PM
Those all people managed to beat the casino not by luck just by their cheating strategies which can't be considered as actual beating the house because it is actually possible in long run no matter what. Well, these are some interesting stories behind the great minds who used to be smart but get caught at the end. Cheesy

I wouldn't call them "great minds" though. Cheating isn't something a wise person would consider performing. Take the MIT team, prolly the wisest people of them all. Being scientists they could direct their efforts on inventing something which would make millions of USD for them legally. Many people could benefit from their inventions, while they could make good profits themselves. And yet they decided to engage in card counting, or, in other words, stealing money from casinos and other gamblers.
Cheating is also an art which needs some special skills so I will call it as smartness to be honest but its morally wrong and discouraged for sure. Those person worked on how to cheat the system when all the people were just blaming their fate for their results which is something to be consider for smart mind.
3772  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: PSA: Fees are cheap right now on: January 06, 2021, 09:03:49 AM
Mempool is not much congested like 2017 scenario but still some wallet's wrong estimation is pushing the fees higher when there is no need if it. So if you are going to make a transaction just check what ks the actual fee should be used, don't trust your wallet estimate it is now showing wrong calculation even in Electrum - Mempool feature.
Are you sure? My Electrum is telling me 9 sat/vbyte for 1MB from tip which is what the mempool estimation sites are also telling me, within a very small margin of error.

The only time it can be regarded as inaccurate is their ETA feature. It's designed to intentionally overcompensate so that the user's transactions can confirm within the specified period of time.
For me it was showing 39 sats/byte when the actual fee needed is something like 8 sat or above and I started to notice such kind of errors in the recent times which I already debated on another thread.

You made a token and you want to sell it easily for actual money? Interesting but bad idea man.

How can you expect someone will buy tokens from exchanges even if you list on any shit exchange?

3776  Other / Meta / Re: Can we, forum users, affect the bitcoin price? on: January 05, 2021, 03:57:17 PM
Actually google will give results of bitcointalk in their first page when the user used the most accurate keywords along with bitcointalk apart from this any deeper question will leads to bitcointalk so no matter how much we improve the actual quality here the goggle is going to give the paid ads in the first page along with shit exchanges and articles when simple keywords used while searching.
3777  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Comparative Features On Top Phone Antivirus For Crypto Wallets Protection on: January 05, 2021, 03:07:49 PM
Clone and fake apps are the ones stealing crypto assets from the users so spending our money on Anti virus and feel like we are completely safe is also stupidity so we should be aware all the time or better keep crypto wallets on secondary smartphones and never install any apps other than stocks and wallets.
devices that are always connected to the internet have a very high risk of being hacked. Even if you have a secondary smartphone and never installed anything, when it is targeted on your local network or on a public network it will still be hacked. All systems are not safe.
A good and safer option for now is to store assets on hardware wallets such as ledge, trezor etc.

never use an unknown public network because there will be many risks.
Almost every device connected to internet are prone to hack but it doesn't because every devices can be hacked.Only we will be hacked if we give an opportunity for the hacker to let in to our device which can be anything like a by installing an unknown apps, using public network which aren't protected, etc.

If you have a secondary smartphone it can be used as hardware wallet too and we never have to connect that device to internet to make transactions.Make the second one as offline air gapped wallet then pair the wallet on watch only mode on your primary mobile.

Someone actually made a guide regarding this, if I can able to find it will leave the link here.
3778  Other / Meta / Re: Multiaccounting? on: January 05, 2021, 01:45:38 PM
Why there are no rules against multi-accounting on the bitcointalk forum?

I see many multi-accounting cases exposed in the Reputation section, but the accused are not banned from the forum. What would be the value of users who create multiple accounts? What are the positive things that can be expected from them? They're probably all potential scammers and cheaters.

Multiple accounts are allowed here so they are not going to get banned unless they found to be a ban evader. People need multiple accounts for different reasons so Bitcointalk is not going to restrict people from doing it. If you found anyone is cheating with multiple accounts then their reputation will be ruined which is almost a worthless account to be here.
3779  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Old story. Exchanges get profits from users' withdrawal fees. on: January 05, 2021, 09:29:12 AM
Most of the exchanges have very less trading fee like 0.1% which is not going to be enough to bring the revenue they wanted so they are also making money from the withdrawals as well so they are telling their customers to not to withdraw their funds too often if they want to save the expenses. As a crypto trader there no other way than accepting this and the fees are pretty less compared to the hidden fees collected by banks.

This also can explains that why someone should use a wallet for storing crypto not any exchanges.
3780  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Comparative Features On Top Phone Antivirus For Crypto Wallets Protection on: January 05, 2021, 06:29:39 AM
For example all these fake Electrum wallets for both desktop and android have nothing malware-like but they still rob users funds all the same.
Clone and fake apps are the ones stealing crypto assets from the users so spending our money on Anti virus and feel like we are completely safe is also stupidity so we should be aware all the time or better keep crypto wallets on secondary smartphones and never install any apps other than stocks and wallets.
