Vega is ... hot. In stock it takes about 400-450W in dual, 300-350W in ETH-only mode at about 33MH/s. And it's throttling like hell. It's very good in dual mining mode, but it's too hot.
Undervolt it - DUH. I forced mine to never go above 1.025V, and she mined Sia under Linux at 1600Mhz stable! :3 yeah but what was the wattage, even a 120 mv uundervolt on an RX 580 8GB only saves 30-40 watts 250 watts for 31 eth and 1600 SIA is garbage for a FE card that costs $900 I can get 37 mhs eth and 1300 SIA out of a gtx 1080 ti for 230 watts , and its a cheaper card |

Help pls !! I have 6 RX 570 gpus connected to the PC and they all are enabled and seemed to be working fine (Windows 10).. I want to save the bios of the 5th GPU, modify and flash it with ATI Flash.. When I open ATI flash, it only lists the first 3 GPUs.. No way to scroll down to the 5th..  How do i scroll down and save the bios of the 5th and flash it back? I do not want to unplug the other 5 from Mobo and do it.. It will screw up the already configured and working ones.. You should always BIOS flash cards in the primary 16x slot directly connected to the mobo, and should always be done individually before you try connect all the GPU's. never had to do this, I flash my cards in any slot even connected to risers no problem after reboot |

Well, if Inno can really deliver according to specs, I see their price justification because if you are limited in power/space, the A5 would have higher density since it's only 750w compared to 1200w for D3. for the D3 to have same hash rate, it would be 750w to 2400w. That's a premium that they are trying to set. Sort of like how the smaller the laptop, the pricier it gets.
Edit: If someone can get a group buy going for 10 units and get 1 free, then that's actually about $9k a unit. I wouldn't mind buying 1 for $9k if it happens.
Inno has never delivered on thier specs , I cant see them delivering this time either either way 10k is a joke man 7k at the higest would be a decent buy but 6.5k should be rhe price. unless the gro buy gets terms 7 to 6k ill wait for the D3 thank u |

From the ETH dev meeting.... looks like there is going to be a big relief and continuity for ETH mining.... hope this happens. ETH mining has gone into crazy ultra-madness difficultly level, next jump is expected to be up by +40% (according to BBT), if the ETH devs dont do anything about it...
Since a week, it is quite stable. Something is going to happen to surge +40% 
so I think if you caught by this jump up...... example: if you have a few rigs and see ethpool dashboard saying your reward in 5 days.... in the next five days.... you see the same dashboard, I am not surprised, if it says "reward in next 4 days" !
3g myslef here and i prefer ethpool since at least 10 percent of the time i get an uncle , I preorders a few d3s probbaly just gona sell them though, Ive had bad experince with bitmain gear thank god i sold all my baikails , got some really salty buyers out there l feel bad for them paying $3k for 300 mhs baikal smh you would be better served to part out your 25 mhs farm roi or not even if you get a 3rd of what you paid for it , then put that new $$ towards d3 or any if the othercnew asics |

Yeah in last 5 days there are more than 300 mining rigs for sale while 2 weeks ago there were only few adds for few rx cards.Btw about 90% rigs for sale are amd

I have the Powercolor RX580 8Giga (Hyn).....my question, with this cards is only max. 27,5MH/s possible to mining?
I had change a lot of things, but everytime the same value 27!
Maybe is that the best one with Powercolor?? or you have someone idea more for me??
I had flash BIOS a lot of times with different values.....nothing change!

Is it a red devil/red dragon one? Sorry....that is a RED DEVIL! and I had try all what I see in youtube for example....no more then 27 and I think the problem are the Powercolor card?? Use bios uploaded/made by anoraknophobia https://anorak.tech/t/powercolor-rx580-red-devil-8gb-hynix/11180/22Check hwinfo for any memory issues. Then if needed, downclock mems by 50 MHz and it should be fine. Hello...THANK YOU VERY MUCH!! Now is working with 30,4MH/s and "only" 110Watt.....i hope I can reduce to 100Watt.. Thank you for help! Hah, I noticed a flood too. Secondhand prices sometimes still higher than retail, even though they are new in stock now.

We were able to pick up a few 1080 Ti GPUs for $620-630 a couple months back, now it's difficult to find any for less then $700. Thankfully, we're almost finalized with what we wanted to do this summer, so we should be fine as is until either good sales happen again, or profitability bounces back up big time.
i wasnt sold on TI's but i did buy 10 of them when 107s were clsoe to 500, i figured why buy a 1070 for 500 when i can get a ti for 670 man , these things are monsters , Zcash at 700 heck 750 with good cooling which i dont have , currently they are doing 22 mhs each on that new pumped coin basically a 470 or 480 can do 6 mhs at max at 150 watts If i could source good 4000 watt PSU's id be buying more 1080 tis , but I just cant find a way to power more than 3-5 on one rig withoute the server PSU's and PICOs at 200 watt a card or min 150 if in under power them thats over 1200 watt , so 1300 watt total system ore more Yeah Marvell1 I moved off desktop PC's to server PSUs to power my 1080Ti rigs. A DPS-2000 works like a charm and I just grab the PICOs from Deepinthemines and breakout boards from Optimizer. No complaints here with my setup other than having to either buy the new risers with 6pin power to replace my SATA ones or sidehacks setup to power the SATA risers off the server PSUs... Ill check with optimizer and on ali express then, still need to source the 2000 watt psus, do you have a link to optimizers thread? Ive used finsky in the past but he is constantly backlogged lately |

OK guys, I've been following this thread and I realized I could really use some ADVICE!
I'm pretty new to the mining scene, meaning that I just got into it. I started ordering my first GPU's about 3 weeks ago when ETH was around $350 but since then things have really changed...
Right now I'm mining with 5 nvidia GPUs 2x 1070, 2x1060 6gb and 1x 1060 3gb. I didn't overpay for these cards, actually I got a pretty good deal on them. Currently I'm mining ETH with ~130MH/s but after reading this topic it's clear to me that maybe I should switch, although it's not clear to me to what and why.... I check whattomine.com regularly but ETH is almost among the most profitable coins to mine, and even if it's not, the others are maybe about 5% more profitable.
Anyway, the thing is that I still have some GPU's that I pre-ordered (at a normal price of $320-$350) and I'm still waiting for them ( 5x RX580 8Gb) but after reading this thread I'm starting to have my doubts and thinking about cancelling these orders...
The most important thing to me right now (since I just got into the game) would be to ROI my GPU's as soon as possible. Ideally I should cancel my order for the 5 RX580's that I pre-ordered and should arrive in the next 2-3 weeks, and wait 'til august to see what happens to bitcoin and to the whole crypto market. However this also means another 3-4 weeks of waiting if I decide to re-place those orders again in august. On the other hand I see people here not recommending to buy AMD GPU's at all, since ETH mining will not be profitable very soon...
(By the way, returning those orders is NOT an options since they were ordered internationally and would imply a lot of costs)
So right now my mind is racing and I'm full of doubts if I should invest in another rig with RX580 or maybe in something else. I do have a limited buget for another rig, around $2000
Whatever you do, I promise you if you there will be no shortage of cards going forward and very good prices on them. So, I'd cancel, and when you have no doubts you want them, reorder again. Chance are you'll be able to pick them at half price with the selling flood too. Now, if you want to keep them, make sure you commit to no regrets and buyer remorse. Win or Lose, be confident. i dont know about all that but I guarntee if you cash on the sidelines you will do far better buy buying into the bear market like the others have said , the only reason to build a rig is if you are building one to learn the proccess for the next pump and to experiment or IF you pay RETIAL for your cards $350-400 is NOT retail for a 580 , and $500-600 is not retial for a 1070!!! |

UPDATE so far 40+ hours no blocks  I think you need at least 5ghz to solo, i went 24 hrs with 2ghz no blocks using parity and claymore this weekend if eth prices were better and margins were not so tight id have run it for a week as a better test |

Yup, ppl still have hope that prices will go up after Segwitt and bitcoin news is over and ICO's slow down eth dumps , Crypto is still relatively strong almost 85 billion still in market cap until we get wiped down to say 20-30 billions I dont think anyone will fully panic yet. On a side note I saw microcenter now has a stock of 570s, I will pick them up tmw if they dont sell, retail prices 200 or so |

You can't, You will need to contact them directly thru skype or email to purchase. then they tell you 7K for 2,000mh (vs 6k for 10.5gh on ibelink) and you disconnect from skype lol i told them id buy 2 for 4k each they disconected LOOL |
