3762  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Unknown Blockchain.com employee is stealing customers funds on: February 04, 2021, 06:44:53 PM
It's true blockchain email verification was disabled a few days back and I had tried several times to log in to my blockchain account. Although my wallet is empty, just sometimes it was necessary to open it in order to help others by getting real time information from the wallet. The claim is quite serious and the writer should provide a reasonable explanation with proof. If you simply claim someone they are hacking your wallet, then it's not worthy enough. I haven't found such as case till now where peoples lost funds after disabling email verification. Password recovery is impossible on blockchain and files wouldn't retrieve without email access. So moving funds in this situation is quite complicated and there is a required second password to make transactions nowadays. So, I am quite suspicious about such as blam.
3763  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Lost my word phrase, was deleted on cell before I could see it. on: February 04, 2021, 06:20:08 PM
What does mean word phrase on coinbase? I have been using coinbase for a long time as my cashout wallet. But I hadn't found anything like that. Are you talking about 2FA? Your post isn't clear and is quite complicated to understand the problem. Coinbase is a custodial wallet and doesn't require a word phrase. What's wrong with your old wallet? Anyway, you are able to create a new account by fresh email id. But I will discourage to do that. Rather than I will suggest using a noncustodial wallet or a hardware wallet. I will refer you to read this thread to compare wallets. Choose the best wallet for you from there and don't use any web wallets. Keep secure your seed phrase, so you will never lose your assets. Just don't invest your valuable assets on any scam sites.
3764  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bisq exchange 100$ Warning on: February 04, 2021, 05:42:48 PM
Often I have been receiving such links. But I never click there and just use the report and delete chat. There are many scammers groups that are spamming via telegram since it's a safe haven for them due to anonymous chat. They will come such as greedy offers, so crypto users would fall into that. My personal thought is, nothing is free in the world, so when I see something like that then act very carefully. Rather than click such links, I try to verify from the original source if really there is something like that.

Thanks for sharing it with the community. Here is the lesson for newbies. They should learn and avoid these scam attempts.
3765  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Avoid Fake Giveaways And Ponzies on: February 04, 2021, 07:57:18 AM
These all scam methods already well-known in the crypto industry. So I am not much worried about existing crypto users for such as giveaway scam methods. The real concern about new crypto users who aren't familiar with this kind of scam technique. But it's quite surprising when I see any forum users fall into this type to scam although I haven't seen many cases lately.

Anyway, there are many warning threads on the forum from where we can learn. But if we can't prevent our greedy behavior then we can't prevent loss as well since it's the most important to scamming someone.
3766  Other / Meta / Re: Should all scam busting techniques be made public? on: February 03, 2021, 05:49:24 PM
Do you believe those participants are doing a signature campaign on the Chipmixer they don't know about address connection? Of course, they know, but he/she wasn't imagined that he/she will be caught. I assume you mean that we shouldn't reveal all the methods of exposing scammers. But fortunately when you will try to prove someone as a scammer, ultimately the methods of investigation will be revealed. For example, nutildah exposed signature by investigating bitcoin addresses, if he doesn't show the connection between each other, will you believe all those accounts are connected. No one will believe verbal explanations without solid evidence. Yes, we can keep secret investigation tools.
3767  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: An interesting thought about spending signature campaign payouts on: February 03, 2021, 05:23:00 PM
Honestly, I have been using coinbase to receiving my signature campaign payments. The reason for using it for payout is an easy sell in my local markets. Coinbase doesn't require fees for the internal transaction. Also, buyer and seller would avoid volatility since its instant off-chain transaction.  I have been receiving payments from gambling and mixer as well. Although I hadn't mix those rewards from the mixer, coinbase doesn't ask me anything till now. On the other hand, I do not hold on to coinbase my rewards. I just sell my bitcoin rewards when it's being quite pump. If in case I intend to hold, then simply I move on my Electrum or Ledger wallet.
3768  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Is this recoverable ? on: February 03, 2021, 05:09:39 PM
I am curious to know what happened with OP's wallet. Had you recovered your funds? If so then how? Your information you be quite helpful for others. Because it seems many users have the almost same issue. Seems OP is active on the forum till today, but not hearing anything from him. Hope OP's will back here with some good news. Just update here if you recover your funds. Best of luck.
I am really sorry for late response because I was unable to sit in front of computer for some health issues but today feeling some better so posting here I send all required information to (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=240779.0) for recovering but sadly today I received email that until now they are fail to recover this so still trying hopefully something positive will happen otherwise its already gone but if I will able to do something then surely I will try in the way which is shown in video because its also good but need some good work which is right now not possible for me.

Sad to hear about your health issue. Hope you will recover very soon and at the same time, you would able to recover your funds as well. However, I believe they could recover your funds, just a matter of time. If they fail, then you would try yourself. The amount isn't small, so you have to work hard since there is an opportunity. If you fail as well, then you can choose someone from the forum who has knowledge about it. Of course, the person should high trusted. Just try and try yourself, then you can seek the right person. I am not a tech guy, otherwise, I would help you. Felling sorry for you. Anyway, just let us know the final update, so we can prefer who would help you from the forum.
3769  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: the payment has not been transmitted yet on: February 03, 2021, 02:34:36 AM
From where had you installed wallet software? Are you sure you had redirected from bitcoin dot org to download and install wallet? It seems to me your transaction has been confirmed on the blockchain, still, it isn't on your wallet? Double-check you wallet and identify the address 1FjJTdWeEN5WSGpTYDkAsCsAsrBLRkUiaV. This is the receiving address according to your transaction id. If this address doesn't exist in your wallet then most likely you are under attack. If an address exists on your wallet then make sure your wallet synchronized correctly, there would be a network issue as well. The amount seems already spent, so balances shouldn't reflect on your wallet. Did you spent it?
3770  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi Nakamoto Latest: I Am Not Craig Steven Wright. (CSW v SNW) on: February 02, 2021, 03:48:58 PM
Reference? Hadn't found anything related to your post. Another controversial statement. We can't believe such as statement without valid proof. Whoever claims as Satoshi Nakamoto he should sign a message from his bitcoin address. Otherwise, there is no other verified way to prove who is the owner of Bitcoin. Lost Bitcoin private keys of Satoshi Nakamoto means we lost him forever. All other things like email would be hacked, that's why the only reasonable evidence is to sign a message from the private key.

3773  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If you buy 1 bitcoin and hold for years in your own offline wallet, taxes? on: February 01, 2021, 06:25:57 PM
If you want to skip tax then perhaps you would fund many ways. But if caught, then you would be in problem. I am not familiar with how authorities detect Bitcoin transactions and ask for tax. But I am pretty sure you will be in trouble during cashout if you are intending to skip tax. If you want to cash out via an exchange like coinbase, then your bank will know the funds came from where and ultimately you can't skip tax. The only option sells your bitcoin from your noncustodial wallet by a face-to-face transaction which is quite risky. If you sell peer-to-peer decentralized exchange and accept money into a bank then they might detect unusual transactions and could lock your funds as well. Isn't better to follow the government's rules about tax since they allow you to use Bitcoin?
3774  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: recent negative statement against Bitcoin on: February 01, 2021, 05:59:47 PM
The bank, a centralized organization wouldn't like a decentralized ecosystem. So I am not surprised about that statement. Anyway, it's his/her own opinion, this isn't any regulation from the central banks. They want to stop bitcoin where it is adopting worldwide. Personally, I think we shouldn't afraid of these comments. I don't see any way to lose the entire investment. Because it's a community-backed cryptocurrency and it's quite impossible to break this community forever. There will always someone who will use bitcoin, doesn't matter if it's not supported by the central government or banks. I will say, they should prepare to accept bitcoin as a global digital currency.
3775  Economy / Exchanges / Re: exchange.blockchain issue - probably scamming me on: February 01, 2021, 05:34:37 PM
I don't know if you can export the private key from their exchange but you can export the private key from their wallet according to this link below.
Blockchain exchange is custodial exchange. So it's impossible to export the private key. Their wallet service is noncustodial (according to them).

Sorry to hear OP in trouble with Blockchain exchange. Some exchanges have the opportunity to recover funds from cross-chain although they require a fee. But I have tried to search in their terms and conditions and I am unable to find something like that. So, only exchange can help you in this case. Just try to contact them by various media.
3776  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I am new here please guide me on: February 01, 2021, 04:40:25 PM
Welcome to the family. I am sorry to say, but I am pretty sure someone has suggested you join this forum and earn from here. Nothing wrong with it since many existing users earning from this forum in various ways. But your intention of join on this forum shouldn't earn money. It's quite complicated because this forum isn't an earning platform. So how are other users earning from here? Yes, this question would in your mind. The answer is either they are selling their skill or doing bounty or lending business. So, if you have something like that, then probably you would earn something. But before that, you should be an established member of this forum. Otherwise, you might earn a few shitcoins or scam coins from here by bounty campaign.

Anyway, I will suggest read more as much as possible you can. Learn about forums and cryptocurrency. You can't do anything without gaining more knowledge. Don't forget to read forum rules and use the search button.
3777  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Altcoin's loss become Bitcoin's gain? on: January 31, 2021, 04:34:19 AM
Based on your post's theme, the thread is more fit into the Altcoin discussion board. So you may move it from the lower left. Anyway, come to the topic. I have experience from markets, a few Altcoin follow the Bitcoin trend, and a few Altcoins go against Bitcoin trends. So the question is where you had invested. The time and coins will say you either you should move into Bitcoin or a stable coin. That's call trading. So it depend on you are will you trade your coins and raise your portfolio.
3778  Other / Meta / Re: Account stolen, please give negative feedback on: January 31, 2021, 04:23:48 AM
The signed message has been verified. This means the account has been sold or stolen. Somehow account ownership has been changed, so based on this I feel it's appropriate to add negative feedback to msarro. When I saw the post first I visit the OP profile, because on first look I assumed there is something wrong. And eventually discover I have left negative feedback to OP a long time ago due to account sales. Based on my opinion, OP is trying to get a few extra money from msarro if he sold it. I don't believe someone would able to hack an account from the account farmer. If so, then OP should make this thread a long time ago.

Anyway, the account in question has been tagged. Let's wait for his response.
3779  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading on up trend and stop losing on down trend on: January 30, 2021, 06:43:49 PM
The question is which coin you are trading. If you trading Bitcoin/USD then it's changing within minutes. So how will you act then? Don't forget there are trading fees as well. I think most day traders following this strategy. They buying when the candle is green and hold. They selling when the candle is red means when starting the dump. You have to calculate your profit always, who knows if the coin starts dump after you bought it? Still, will you sell in 1%? What if coin pump after you sold? I think 1% is too narrow. In crypto trading, you wouldn't gainer always. Luck wouldn't favor you always. It looks like stop-loss, but you are doing it manually. I think you should increase your percentage.
3780  Other / Meta / Re: Meriting a user who just merited you on: January 30, 2021, 06:24:47 PM
For me, just merit for good. Doesn't necessarily always make a high-quality post. Otherwise, a good poster will miss merit from me. But I don't use this policy receive>send. If someone sent me merits I even don't visit his post history. So there is no chance to send him merit as a return for received merits. Although this doesn't merit abuse in my opinion, but I don't feel this is a better way to spend your merits. As a merit source, wherever I notice a good post at least according to me, then I send merits. I don't care even he had sent me merits or not.

But I have to admit, I visit post history sometimes to send merits especially if someone very near to rank up. I just try to help them to achieve their desired rank.
