Under his 7 years tenure, India become number 1 test team and stayed there for like 5-ish years. Without any doubt best Indian test captain, who changed the Indian test culture single handedly . Well done skipper, you led the team very well. Changes are part of the life but i'm going to miss him as test captain.
Am not really surprised to hear about this news. After resigning as captain from the T-20 and ODI formats, it was only a matter of time until he resigned from the test format too. Recent DRS controversy added fuel to the fire.

Kohli was easily the best Indian test captain so far and a decent ODI+T-20 captain. Will miss him as test captain and I wish he resigned in a better manner from all formats.
3762  Economy / Economics / Re: US inflation jumped 7% in December as prices rise at rates unseen in decades on: January 15, 2022, 09:55:54 AM
LOL.. net disapproval ratings in the -15% to -20% range and most of the polls are showing a fair advantage for Republicans in the 2022 Generic Congressional Vote (even if the GOP and Dems receive the same amount of vote, it is going to be a Red landslide because of concentration of Dem vote in the inner city areas). With or without inflation, it is going to be a wipeout for Biden/Kamala during the Senate/House elections later this year. And as far as the senate is concerned, the GOP is going to regain some of the swing states such as Pennsylvania and New Hampshire, and probably Arizona and Nevada as well.
Nonsense. Biden's net approval ratings are bad, but they aren't that bad. They are closer to -9.1 points currently. He is performing badly, but still better than Trump whose approval ratings sunk into the 30s.

Also, polls aren't always reliable. Best example is the Hillary vs Trump polls. The democrats and the republicans are locked in a neck and neck battle as usual.
3763  Economy / Economics / Re: US inflation jumped 7% in December as prices rise at rates unseen in decades on: January 14, 2022, 11:09:25 PM
I feel like some of these companies are exaggerating the repurcessions of rising inflation rates in the USA to be honest. USA isn't a small country that would need to depend on BTC thanks to rising inflation.

They probably have multiple plans in place in order to overcome these issues just like they have done so many times in the past.
3764  Economy / Gambling / Re: 1XBIT.COM ᐉ 7 BTC WB ᐉ Altcoin Betting ᐉ no KYC ᕗ Instant payouts on: January 14, 2022, 06:16:44 PM
The level of your posts is so low that I just ignore most of them, but this one is completely stupid, so I will explain you again, but this time read it slowly.

I'm grateful now, so no matter how long this campaign will run, later I'll be grateful too.
Wrong. A person like you who scams others for a couple of dollars and edits Wikipedia content for shady purposes is in no position to offer advice to anyone. Wake up.

You ignore some of my posts because your peanut sized brain cannot come up with effective replies which is pretty obvious shill. Your debating skills are below average and you should focus on improving your grammar.

The same is with the red flags. It works but not in the way it was intended to work...
How exactly isn't it working? Shills who were willing to support this scam site were assigned red flags so that other legit campaign managers can steer clear about them. Facts!
3765  Economy / Gambling / Re: LuckyDiamond.io - multi crypto casino. Faucets, contests, special events, dice on: January 14, 2022, 02:58:23 PM
Conveniently, the provably fair system for mines is not implemented. I am currently communicating with support to see if this is some sort of error or mistake, will keep you posted.
This is the first time that I am hearing about this site. I usually avoid gambling site names that start with lucky since they tend to be scams in some way or another.

I wouldn't call this particular site a scam yet, but their provably fair system failing is a big red flag and these results don't bode well for the future of this site. Check whether the provably fair system is working properly before gambling here people.
3766  Economy / Gambling / Re: What are the best ways to choose a casino on: January 14, 2022, 12:10:42 PM
Most of these so-called "review" websites favor casinos with the best affiliate terms and are neither a little objective nor transparent about their methods, so the results are highly questionable, to say the least. These are merely promotional websites that generate revenue by referring casino traffic to their sponsors.
True, but this can be said about literally every single review site out there since this is how they manage to keep their site running in the short-term and the long-term.

Moreover, these good review sites are a lifesaver tbh but not all of them, in this forum we recommend these two as the best when it comes to this craft.
They do help in various ways, but you shouldn't completely depend on these review sites(Good/Bad) in my opinion.

Since you guys brought up this topic, I would like to thank you and all DT members for giving red trust everyone who want to join 1xbit signature campaign.
Thanks to this, no one with neutral trust joined the campaign, 1xbit was forced to accept red trust accounts and thanks to this I had a chance to finally join the campaign that pays well and honestly in Bitcoin.
You won't be thanking them when 1xbit wraps up their signature campaigns in this forum since they won't run permanently for obvious reasons.

Also, many posters would have gladly joined this campaign if 1xbit's reputation was positive, but they avoided it primarily because of their negative reputation which was why they were forced to accept people like you.
3768  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: January 13, 2022, 07:29:13 PM
The sudden Indian batting collapse surprised me. Pant was playing well after a long time, but no one could support him properly. The South African bowlers were on fire and they deserve a lot of praise for putting India on the backfoot.

India still has a decent chance at winning this test as long as they remove the in-form SA batsmen quickly. I wouldn't count them out just yet.
3769  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcasino.io 💜 — Pragmatic Play Masters tournaments 🏆 550 mBTC prize pool on: January 13, 2022, 07:16:10 PM
Guys,

Our Head of Casino CRM reached out to me a asked if he could share some feedback.
He prepared a thank you note and let me share it with you:

Dear Bitcointalk community,

I would like to thank you for all your feedback related to our Christmas promotion. Countless people from different departments were involved in the planning and execution of this campaign and reading your feedback really made it worth every minute spent. In fact, I was so happy that I shared it with pretty much everyone that dared to talk to me Cheesy

I am proud to have such a friendly bunch of players on our site and want you to know that your feedback and improvement suggestions are taken seriously and are much appreciated.

I personally read what you guys write in here when I find a free minute every now and then - so rest assured that your voice is heard Smiley
Lastly, I hope that you will stick around for another year, as we have many exciting things planned for 2022 which I hope you will enjoy even more.

Thanks again and best of luck to everyone!

Wolfgang

And I would like to add, you guys are just great Smiley Let's rock on!

Cheers,
Karl
Bitcasino.io
You guys deserve the praise for conducting such great Christmas related events in a problem-free manner. I would even go as far as to say that your site held the best Christmas 2021 promotions among all crypto gambling sites that I know of.

My favourite part was the 'Daily Santa Presents' which helped me earn decent profits by not risking big amounts.
3770  Economy / Gambling / Re: Vikingbet.io launched this week. on: January 13, 2022, 11:21:30 AM
This site is easily one of the worst gambling sites that I have visited so far for several reasons which I listed below:

- Bad first impressions due to Poor ANN.
- The design is boring and the UI elements are all over the place.
- Nothing happens when I clicked on some of the buttons on the bottom of the page(Terms, Fair gambling etc).
- Complicated KYC rules.

Basically, this site looks like it's in its alpha stage and is not ready for the public.
3771  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: January 12, 2022, 10:41:50 PM
India are in full control of the match currently. If they manage to post a total close to 270 or higher, I feel South Africa is screwed unless they somehow manage to survive Bumrah, Shami, Thakur etc.

Excited to see the end to this test series between both these teams.

More 300 runs will increase the chance of winning, if not this will increase the winning chance for South Africa.
300 more runs? That implies 370 runs which is completely unnecessary. A target above 270 is more than enough against this South African side which is clearly over-dependent on certain batsmen like Petersen, Bavuma etc.
3772  Economy / Gambling / Re: 💙Allstarsbet101.com 💙 - More than 2000 Titles | Crypto + Fiat on: January 12, 2022, 07:13:42 PM
We raised a case with the service providers to raise the KYC limits for now then try something to reduce the KYC all together. With that being said, KYCs will be approved quickly if a player chooses to go ahead with current policies.
It's good to see you guys listening to player feedback and trying to make proper changes asap which implies that you value your customers.

No KYC gambling is easily one of the biggest plus points of a gambling site. Very few gamblers don't have a problem with providing their KYC while the majority including me do which is why I hope your team can get rid of that requirement completely.
3773  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I want your happiness. on: January 12, 2022, 03:02:54 PM
This is a different topic when compared to what I am usually used to seeing in this forum. I like the fact that you are trying to help others through your own experience with cryptocurrency trading even though you aren't fluent in english.

Truthfully, whatever you stated is common sense in the crypto world, but I respect your positive intentions. Long-term HODLING>>>Day-trading in my opinion!
3774  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: January 12, 2022, 10:51:22 AM
Agree! I know it sounds ridiculous, but wouldn't people with the listed NFT be able to take out a loan, receive actual money from Rollbit, then default on the loan and simply disappear? The issue of defaulting is not even mentioned or discussed in their article. In fact, this NFT Loan craze has the potential to be abused by money-hungry turds.

On the bright side, if someone intentionally defaulted on a loan with their NFT as collateral, they could end up losing hundreds or even thousands of dollars if Rollbit successfully sold an artwork worth far more than the loaned NFT. One example is this[1].

[1] https://www.theblockcrypto.com/post/123165/someone-took-out-a-1-4-million-loan-with-an-nft-as-collateral?utm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss
This is a risky endeavour. NFTs themselves are gimmicks basically and taking loans by using them as collateral is absolutely insane if you ask me.

Rollbit is basically gambling using this high risk, high reward approach and I don't think it will be feasible in the long-term. On the other hand, the risk factor for NFT owners is way lower in comparison.
3775  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: January 12, 2022, 01:58:26 AM
There need to be no excuses that if they bat first, they could have won. Teams should be capable of showing performance batting first or second. Bangladesh did not play well in this match and New Zealand won this test by an innings and 117 runs.

The main highlight of the match was Ross Taylor took the last wicket of bangladesh on the last ball of his final test appearance.
Spot on. Excuses related to toss and other factors are downright silly and stupid. NZ demolished Bangladesh thanks to a spectacular innings by Latham and amazing bowling performances by Boult and Jamieson.

Ross Taylor had a fairy-tale ending to his test career thanks to that wicket. Another legend is out. Will miss him for sure.

Now this match also looks likes the second Test match and if the bowlers are not able to restrict South Africa then it will be hard to get back in this match as it looks like a difficult pitch to bat.
I feel like I am watching an ODI series between India and South Africa at this point. South Africa definitely has the advantage currently though they could lose it if we witness a batting collapse.
3776  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcasino.io 💜 — Join & Share 🚀 30 mBTC GIVEAWAY on: January 11, 2022, 08:25:24 PM
5 mBTC can be used in any game on Bitcasino!
Possibility to win 5 mBTC for such simple tasks? Count me in. Great stuff Bitcasino team! Also, when will prediction contests return?

Yeah, although I have a couple of favorites, like Money Train 2 by Relax Gaming, Book of Dead by Play'N Go and Book of Shadows by No Limit City, I do try new slots from time to time. If you normally play high volatility slots, like I do, you can see how relaxing it is to play low volatility ones for some time: it feels like you win all the time! Smiley Then you are bored to death by those "wins" that are either only a little bit higher than your bet or even lower than your bet, which happens most of the time, and you return to the good ol' high volatility beasts.
High volatility slots like Money Train 2 are some of my favourites even though I never hit a crazy high multiplier so far. Low volatility slots are great too for long sessions though I don't consider them relaxing at all.
3777  Economy / Gambling / Re: 💙Allstarsbet101.com 💙 - More than 2000 Titles | Crypto + Fiat on: January 11, 2022, 06:38:29 PM
Just checked the site out and l liked the blue design which looks trendy. There are a large number of casino and sports betting games available which is another plus point. FAQ(Help) section answered whatever queries I had.

However, I am disappointed with the KYC regulations here. It's very easy to cross the 500 euros barrier for KYC which is the primary reason why I have lost interest in this site.
3778  Economy / Gambling / Re: 1XBIT.COM ᐉ 7 BTC WB ᐉ Altcoin Betting ᐉ no KYC ᕗ Instant payouts on: January 11, 2022, 11:14:31 AM
OMG, guys, I was looking for some details about this hell of a gambling site:) great I avoided depositing there prior to looking through this thread. What would you recommend as a reliable online bitcoin/altcoin casino?
Good job. If more people did their research like you, the 1xbit victim numbers would drastically decrease forcing them to shut their business down.

Also, there are plenty of great options out there like Crypto.Games, Stake, Rollbit, Primedice, Roobet(Requires KYC), Sportsbet.io, Bitcasino etc. You can find more information from the thread that I linked below.

Your point of views are very different from others. You still think that  D/L system is fair? I don't think so. This is one of the poor systems which gives a lot of benefit to the team batting first and making the target unrealistic for the chasing team. If you remember the Semifinal of 1992 world cup, where South Africa, despite being in a better position in the semifinals, was lost to England on this D/L Method.

Who else thinks this is a fair method  Huh
Nonsense. If it wasn't fair, it would have been scrapped a long time back. The example which you gave is valid, but it is part of a minority of cases. It provides fair conclusions majority of the time which is what matters the most.

Other systems like the VAR in soccer perform in a similar manner. No system is perfect basically.
3780  Economy / Gambling / Re: BC GAME and HASH GAME Scam wit full legit proof on: January 10, 2022, 05:46:23 PM
You should bring it on and do not post threats on this post you are not proving anything only allegations, based on your post it will damage the casino's reputation, you should not post this it here if you are not posting anything you are just creating FUD for not showing any proof,
He is a complete idiot clearly who probably lost money in those sites and is trying to take revenge against them by ranting in this thread which is pointless since his wild claims meaning nothing without proper proof/evidence.

Also, these kind of pointless accusations would cause negligible damage to a casino's reputation.
