3761  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is Betting Double After Losing is Really a Good Decision? on: March 28, 2020, 08:44:04 PM
Would that make a huge impact to your funds? I haven't tried it so far, but for me, I don't that is really effective as if we lose, we aren't really going to win right after, because there is still a possibility of losing once again.

Just by understanding fully what house-edge means, you can take a picture by yourself if a martingale is an effective way to apply in dice, slots or any casino games. Even if we say 80-90% winning chance, it's not an assurance that we can nail that round.

I know you are already aware of some gambling tips, tricks or any advice so I think martingale is not a new term for you. If you see martingale as not an effective way to apply in gambling then trust your own view and thoughts. It will save you a lot.

The same goes for other betting methods.
3762  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Any Casino with good Investment Returns? on: March 27, 2020, 08:47:16 PM
Hello everyone!

I used to be an investor in CryptoGames casino.
Some days ago they announced that they stop getting funds from individuals as they believe that this is not beneficial for their organization.
I didn't make a lot of profits thus I wasn't happy, but I think that I can try one more time to invest in a casino.

Do you know any online casinos that accepts funds from individuals and provide decent profits in return?

CryptoGames is one of the longest-running crypto-gambling casino sites that exist today.

Since they claimed that bankroll investment, that runs and operates for several years, is not beneficial anymore, we can make a conclusion already that even for any sites that offer this kind of service, it will be the same. And to add for that, that kind of method isn't appealing to anyone even way back the early years of reputable sites today.

You can try other sites but don't expect to have a "decent" profits in return. And besides, your expected return will be based on how much capital you have invested. Not discouraging you but you won't feel the profit in the long-run even you will invest BTC1 today.

This is an interesting one,

https://www.spin.ph/basketball/pba/smb-coach-leo-austria-good-or-lucky-championships-a2437-20200325-lfrm2?ref=feed_1_section
Quote
Is Leo Austria a great coach or is he simply lucky?

What do you think my fellow PBA fanatics, is he only lucky or he really has the skills to make the SMB successful?

He is a good coach but I can't tag him as great for now. Sorry about that. Maybe if he will transfer to another team or take the SMB into the championship without JuneMar. No need to win but just execute a strategy that seems effective.

He is not known for having a unique and signature strategy that is effective in the long-run like the strategy made by Tim Cone (iso off/def), Yeng Guiao (fast phase), Norman Black (1 center/4 perimeter off/def play), Chot Reyes (he handles the PH teams for several years). Austria's strategy is seemingly basic but because he has the most and best players in the league it was easily executed. And JuneMar doesn't seem to have a good and close rival up to this day contributing to the success of SMB franchise. I mean, don't get me wrong here. Just my opinion.

But on the other side, SMB players are already comfortable with Austria. They respect Austria. Their bond is strong that's why we can see that SMB does have a good relationship with each other. If players are not comfortable with their coach, no matter how simple the strategy is, it will be useless.
3764  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: March 26, 2020, 09:20:21 PM
Another bad news from the NBA, KAT is now also infected, why is it most NBA stars were getting infected by the virus?
With this new cases in the organization, I doubt the management would still push to resume the season soon.

Karl Anthony Towns is still virus-free up to this point. He might undergo a test. If I'm not mistaken, KAT isn't living with his parents so the test isn't necessary to do. Like in any other country, those who will just show symptoms will be tested as a priority and for those suspected ones or got contact even a bit for those infected ones are meant for 2 weeks quarantine period. There's no report that KAT will be tested too. When she talks to her mother at the hospital, he is in full protective gear.

The virus should be taken really seriously. Others don't understand how deadly it is that's why they are comfortable going outside or not following the government protocols.
3765  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casinos that allow bch and ltc and eth investments? on: March 25, 2020, 11:30:34 PM
Hi, i am looking for sites that allow bch and ltc and eth investments, either public bankrolls or private is okay. for bch i am also looking for bchsv investment opportunities. crypto-games cut out theirs and that's where i was at so hoping to find new places to park coins Smiley

thank you

I doubt there's a BCH investment included in the history of gambling site bankroll investing.

I've never seen that before. Mostly, it's only limited to BTC, ETH.

Just-dice is the only gambling site I know that still running today that has a feature of altcoin investment through CLAMS and the site was really designed for CLAMS users.

You may now locked this thread which you can see at the bottom left of the page and we focus the talks on that other thread instead.
3768  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Casimero Bantamweight Unification Fight on: March 23, 2020, 09:16:37 PM
But I noticed his mouth is beginning to throw words to Inoue. He should be humble. Too much overconfident by talks is not good while the other party is just silent.

I like his personality, and he has showed that he can fight and not afraid of anyone in his division, in fact he choose the beast even if obviously people think Inoue is greater than him, its a big challenge for him and if he will succeed on this, better fights waiting ahead for him for sure.

It's not that he is not afraid to anyone but he really should pass Inoue that's why he chose that beast. It's a mandatory fight for him that will make his resume good.

Beating the Japanese will result in him getting a high ranking, raised his market value as a boxer and gaining more fame. As per some analysts, he will also get the opportunity to unify and take home three titles.

There are lots to gain so that's the reason why he considers Inoue as his next match.
3769  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Anything could be gambling on: March 23, 2020, 08:57:27 PM
It's not appropriate to consider gambling in real life as the same in gambling with money. So literal.

It has lots of difference and just because the word gambling is used, it's now become the same.
It is all about how your perception on things. I guess it will be appropriate to consider the real life gambling with what we are doing in casino with money. I'm not seeing big differences. Instead of dicing online, I guess we can toss coin against a friend and even with martingale strategy. I believe it will bring same kind of excitement and profits like how online dicing will be. Still, it is all about how you are able to adopt things; your level of perception will play here a big role.

I agree the term 'gambling' being misused everywhere and I believe there should be some differentiation must be needed so that we can distinguish things respect to each other. I read some people are suggesting about real-life gambling as betting and money involved-luck based-professionally done things as gambling. They might be right Cool.

Try to read the examples of the post that I quoted:

Quote
-because even how good you are and competent in your position but things sometimes happen that we are being kicked to be replaced by others and that is gamble.
-gamble to choose Wife, because it can happen that what you chose is not the one that will be yours forever so another gambling.

It's clearly not appropriate to consider these the same as gambling with money. How come it become the same?

Gambling in real life, facing challenges in society is DIFFERENT from doing gambling with the involved money. The factors are different. We should separate those things.
3770  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you think this is a good strategy ? on: March 23, 2020, 08:40:13 PM
Hi all  Smiley

Do you think this is a good strategy:

I buy bitcoin by putting a stop limit at the same purchase price to lose nothing

Example: I buy 1 BTC at $ 5200 and simultaneously place a stop limit (loss) at $ 5200, if the price goes up then it's good for me but if it goes down then I would lose nothing

Thank you

Are you sure about that?

That's not a good idea for a fluctuating market. You might end paying more if the price sustains on that level.

Stop loss is not design for that. If you want to minimize your loss then you can set a lower limit in a few percentages.
3771  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Anything could be gambling on: March 23, 2020, 08:16:12 PM
i don't need to understand the whole topic to favor the title.

though this is different from your story OP but i do believe that everything in life is gambling, even our Work is gamble because even how good you are and competent in your position but things sometimes happen that we are being kicked to be replaced by others and that is gamble.

gamble to choose Wife, because it can happen that what you chose is not the one that will be yours forever so another gambling.

and yeah,we can do anything to gamble either with stake of money or services.

That's not clearly the picture that OP is pointing to.

It's not appropriate to consider gambling in real life as the same in gambling with money. So literal.

It has lots of difference and just because the word gambling is used, it's now become the same.

What I am saying is, "WE NEED CALVIN IN THE PBA AND IN INTERNATIONAL GAMES".

No matter how good or best a player is, there should be no exemption if they violate or do something bad in the league. It's kind of spoiling the player as they can get away easily because they are good at playing.

I'm also with you, we need Calvin but if he will return to being arrogant again then I like to see him done in the league.

But I'm sure he already learned his lesson. I want to see him back in a new form. As of the last update, he just needs to comply with a few guidelines and he can now come back to the league. Maybe once the PBA commence, there's a chance we can see him back at playing.

Rudy Gobert gives the community a latest update on his status:

Quote
Just to give you guys an update, loss of smell and taste is definitely one of the symptoms, haven’t been able to smell anything for the last 4 days. Anyone experiencing the same thing?

https://twitter.com/rudygobert27/status/1241811796891066368

Haven't heard or read yet that people with Covic-19 lose the ability to smell and taste. Improving or just leading into another case?

Ohh man. I'd tried to do searching a bit in the internet and good gracious no videos of their has been uploaded yet, even to any of phornograpic websites. Cheesy

That's what I Iike in other countries where people don't easily judge others in just doing one mistake. Here in my country, opposite.

Here's a bit of preview:

I will delete the link in few hours lol.

5. Dice games included.

Primedice.com
Stake.com
Wolf.Bet
Bustadice
Windice

Actually there's a lot more.

Come back here if you want some recommendations about sports betting sites. The reason I don't include it here is you might not interest in it since you special mentioned the dice game so I will assume you are looking at casino games.

3775  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 3 Online Casino Sites Considered as the Oldest on: March 23, 2020, 07:02:30 PM

3776  Economy / Speculation / Re: Convert or HODL? on: March 23, 2020, 06:44:43 PM
I fear that if I transfer my balance from bitcoin to digital dollar (USDT), I will not have a new opportunity to buy bitcoin from lower prices because I see that bitcoin is currently fluctuating in a narrow field and then either up or (by a small percentage) to the bottom. I currently prefer to HOLD bitcoin and I'm waiting for a good buy or sell signal.

You can have some tests if you have guts to put some percentage on it on buying USDT. In that way, you will have a view on what will happen if you do that in the current situation. The always and the most recommendation you will see is to just hold bitcoin no matter what but you are free to test strategies if you think what's the best thing to do.

Converting or holding is really a tough question that everyone is facing whatever the trend is. But if you are not sure about what to do, then better hold to death and learn to accept anything that will happen.
3777  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: March 23, 2020, 12:21:36 AM
Although its very unfortunate to on what happen to him but still you cannot blame people to get angry with him especially on how he deal those things when he's not infected, but the incident happens and for sure all those things will settle up since for sure there management will do their best to make sure that their valuable assets will get back in shape.

Not angry at all but they are just disappointed. But I believed they are all move on. Who's angry?

There's no room to be angry about something that a person can't control. They must understand it's not intentional.

We didn't even know who's the first infected NBA player. Take example on Brooklyn Nets and Los Angeles Lakers, they have confirmed cases but in the span of over a month, if I'm not mistaken, they never faced the Utah Jazz.
3778  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Things you shouldn't do when gambling at casino this time... on: March 22, 2020, 11:46:24 PM
You must have a body temperature checking machine to find out and even then it's not necessarily..

That's not actually enough. Sometimes body temperature rose within 37 to 38 degrees depending on circumstances. That temperature is actually normal but now within a range of possible first symptoms of the virus.

But prior to that, casinos should be closed. Test kits only available on those who show symptoms and not recommended for those who still feel healthy but the virus is now inside their body. There is no way a casino can detect if one of their clients is now infected so a full closure is necessary.

For physical casino gamblers, just take a break. The outbreak will end soon. China, the source of the virus is now showing good progress which is a good sign. Other countries will follow soon.
3779  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Anything could be gambling on: March 22, 2020, 11:24:13 PM

OP, that's actually nice, having fun out of boredom. Although money is involved, as long as the activity will not lead to negative things that can happen to a usual gambler, it's just fine to continue.

I never tried yet any of those fun games that involve gambling with the use of crypto or basically just money with the current situation we are into. The fact is, I busy too with my other chores that's why no time for other activities.

I will follow this thread for some ideas. Want to see some fun games that can turn into a gambling game to fight boredom.

Literally everything could be gambling.
I have remember betting with my friends while sitting beside the highway, guessing what brand or color of car that would pass us by next.
While on the current quarantine, the most accessible and easiest way to gamble for fun is card games, which we have been doing since the quarantine began. We didn't placed any money bet, but we came to an agreement that who ever losses would clean a specific area in our house lol.

That practice is currently not recommended for playing against friends and neighbors. But within the household, that's good.
3780  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why there are so many people who get addicted on gambling? on: March 22, 2020, 11:03:11 PM
addiction is the thing that will happen when someone is used to it...
the hormone dopamine is released by the brain when an addict gets his needs and in this case, gambling addicts experience the same thing, when they gamble and win then they will feel very happy, learning to control yourself is difficult but not impossible.

I like the fact that Science is put here which is actually TRUE.

The dopamine is called a happy hormone.

Experiencing a winning moment in doing gambling triggers that hormone. Who doesn't want that feeling as even how we treat gambling, either for fun, past time or just a casual activity, we all desire to win? And if not controlled by the user, it's now the first step in leading into addiction.
