Is China going to dominate the world?
China is the second largest economy in the world. The cold war between China and USA and the tension between India and China on the line of actual control. China is challenging USA in every filed. What do you think is China going to dominate the world or USA will be the super power.

China was no doubt considered as a next super power of the world but they have been badly effected by covid-19. This has put them in the back foot and they need to recover well from their declining  economic situation. Also at the same time, India has created tensions on their border. However they dealt in a good way but still when you have a lot of enemies especially in your neighbor, its always hard to focus on development of the country.

Although I don't use cryptotalk but made an account long time ago and received this email recently. Anyone knows what are these tokens and cryptotalk has stopped payment in bitcoins ?

Guess they're running out of budget to paid their users, so they decide to print token from thin air and i doubt it have real usage. I wager this token exchange will hit 1 satoshi/talk token within a month.

As most of the people thought initially, this was their plan to start the forum in the first place. After getting some reasonable traffic, they would use this forum promote their shit coins.

I still think that this won't work either because all of the traffic which cryptotalk gets are from shit posters who are never interested to buy tokens.

3764  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why is Bitcoin volume so low? What effect on price? on: June 25, 2020, 04:46:56 PM
Bitcoin volume is extremely low right now. It’s still higher than the 2017 bull run but way down from March 2020 highs (im assuming that was the RONA Crash of 2020?)

What effect does this low volume have on price? I understand what it really does is allow bigger swings to happen as less money is needed to move the market.

I’m curious if anyone can give me some insight?

No one can give you right information as why the bitcoin volume is low. The good thing about low volume is that bitcoin can pump quickly and also dump quickly. If you ask what will be price of bitcoin due to this low volume, I am afraid no can tell precisely. You need to watch the market and see the movements on daily basis.

3766  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: "NEW NORMAL" Betting on: June 14, 2020, 10:16:19 AM
The certainty of the vaccine is still gray.. we can't wait until the vaccine is found in order to start a sports match.  I see some countries have relaxed "LOCKDOWN" because it is no longer effective and submitted "NEW NORMAL".  I read that the English league will start again, this is the best news;

Quote

billions of dollars have been lost (betting, broadcasting rights, tickets, and merchandises) because sporting events have been postponed waiting for vaccines to appear. sports matches without spectators must be done (to support "NEW NORMAL" & and slow the spread of COVID-19)..

I was very bored watching the old football match and then repeated so on and so on sports TV stations Cheesy.  so that the "stay at home" program is effective, entertainment (sports matches) must be continued..

The Spanish League has started and soon other leagues will resume soon. I hope we will resume all the tournaments soon and then we will also have the sport betting activities resume as normal.

After a long, hard week, there is nothing better than an insanely wild party.

That's an interesting way to start an online survey for crypto currency Cheesy

I am not a Bitcoin guy  Huh That's very sad. Just another ETH guy, looks like most people here ended up with ETH.

Can you show an breakdown how many different kind of people there were at the end of your test?

It will be interesting if OP can conclude the results and give us the percentage of which cryptocurrency is at the top based upon the survey results.

Also there should be a reason of why a certain answer will result in the selection of which cryptocurrency and the logic behind it, after we give the quiz.

Does anyone knows if anyone has won the highest prize by getting the "10000" lucky number ? Some one must have been lucky in all these years.

If the odds are 10,000 to 1 then its going to take 10,000 rolls to just get an even chance, not many of us have that many rolls on that game.   If I ever get it I'll report in but Ive only got the minor ones so far and I dont know anyone whose done 10k rolls personally.    Collectively the website is going to have alot more attempts then that per day so its going to be a regular pay out like is shown in history but most people arent forum members and they have alot of non english speaking players I bet.

I just recently came to know that some people are actually claiming the highest amount. I am really happy to know this.

I just won $200 at FreeBitco.in!

My user id is 37337220.

3769  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: India may again ban cryptocurrency on: June 14, 2020, 06:44:06 AM
There's a possibility of India to ban crypto again. According to an article by decrypt, "A new bill in India may be proposing up to ten years of prison or fines up to $3.3 million for using cryptocurrency."
If the bill passed, the chance of having Indian into the crypto space will be very low as the punishment is too high.
Source- https://decrypt.co/32160/india-considers-another-widespread-ban-on-bitcoin

If a person has a bitcoin or even less then a bitcoin, how can he pay the fine upto $3.3 million ?
Using bitcoins does not mean that a person is a millionaire. I don't understand what government thinks of those who posses bitcoins  Shocked
3770  Economy / Speculation / Re: TA indicates a sharp drop soon on: June 14, 2020, 05:37:40 AM
$10,000 will end up like many other strong resistances in the past, it’ll get breached 100%. We may see a dump in the near future but so what. I’m more interested in the long term price direction not short term movements.

Of course.

The more times a level gets hit it becomes weaker and it's like that in both directions. We've been hitting 10 thousand for a while now and it's not going to keep resisting forever.

Bullish expectations point towards 10 thousand this year but I can see us at least touching last year's top of 14.

TA does not predict everything correctly. Since bitcoin is fundamentally strong I don't thing it can drop sharply. I think it may retest 10,000$ few times before breaking it out.

impressing on the success of that one person who won the jackpot.

Lottery organizers have perfected this art

The winners in lottery are widely and wildly advertised, they make headlines and talking points in the news, their happy faces are welcome in TV shows. No one wants to talk about thousands and thousands who failed to make it. This inevitably skews and distorts your perception, and makes you fall for the seeming easiness of winning a lottery or jackpot. If someone like you has been lucky, you should be at least as lucky, right?

This is called business. If you are doing any business who will only present the brighter side of your service or product and will try to hide the darker side. Gambling sites will never disclose that how many people have lost from gambling and they will also not tell that how much the casino has made profit from people losing. Instead they will only tell you the big wins from the players which are very few in number

It's a difference that makes the difference

And you know where it lies? In a casino you could actually win. I'm not even talking about using complex approaches aiming at beating the house edge and squeezing whatever small profits you can take home at the end of the day. Even when you toss a coin, your chances are 50%, i.e. you will be winning in half of all the cases. Indeed, there's the house edge. But then you will be winning in a little fewer than half of all rolls (if we are talking about dice on x2 multiplier). The point is that the luck is there for real

I understand that luck is there and a 50% chance does give you a 50 Percent chance of a Win. But the point is that we play many times with small amount of money. So even if we won few times, we lose equal number of times. If you play more, the chances for you to be in overall loss are greater. Another reason is that people wager more because they think that by doing this they will recover their pervious loses. Sad

3774  Other / Politics & Society / Re: How can a country eradicate covid19 in a country without senators ideology. on: June 13, 2020, 08:03:21 PM
Why is that some senator's are earning more than governors and them can't donate finance for proper eradication of covid19 cases in their constituency alone, the problem some country is having is base on their law maker and their ministers who is handling some potential ministries and them fails to support for proper building of their country.
Many countries are turned up side because of members of upper national house assembly whose function is to decide and plan for the growth of their nation, by now some countries suppose to be free from covid19.if are may ask how can we eradicate these if u happen to be a senator or minister of your country.

No country is free from covid 19. People have stopped following the lock down and resumes their businesses and government have also ease the situation but the threat of coronavirus is even more now because people are freely meeting each other in these days.

In the end, whatever we choose, we've got to be extra careful with our security practices. The word "obvious" is very dangerous when it comes to Bitcoin and cryptography in general.

Two tips:

Don't put all your eggs in one basket.
Plausible deniability -- A $5 wrench is too damn cheap.

I am not gonna lie I love this new PR person and they do keep notifying us all the things that goes on in the freebitco.in world and that is great, sometimes I am not aware of what is going on and reward point increases and all that are awesome to get notified about, however I still do miss thequin a lot, he is still around here somewhere, he still lurks and reads I am sure, and he might even respond to this Cheesy.

But he used to be much more active in "chatting" with us, like not even has to be about freebitco.in, just regular chatting with us. That was one of the things that made this place special because you get to talk with the team directly right away. In the end this was needed and I am glad we have a PR person here now, it is definitely taking it to a whole new level of professionalism.

"freebitco.in PR" has been updating for all the major updates and news for a long time. I also do not visit freebitco often but also happy to know what's going on there through this chat. Good that we have an active official representative from freebitco to guide and update us always.

I can see the original post is deleted but I doubt it can be artificial work by photoshop or any photo editing software.

You can check here we have very long list of winners and you can find someone with this 10000 numbers as well https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1850855.0

I can find few people claiming 200$ which is very good indeed.
Majority of the people have claimed 20$ and it's give us motivation that if we have time, we can keep on rolling free and one day we may be lucky to get 200$.

3779  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin going on the major bull run in 2020 on: June 12, 2020, 04:13:05 PM
I also believe that Bitcoin has indeed been Bullrun since Bitcoin was halving finished, although now the price of Bitcoin is corrected by more than $ 500, I still believe the bullish sentiment is still coming, it's time to buy not selling for cheap

Bitcoin is pumping and dumping  too much after the halving and no one is able to make the right prediction of bitcoin next movement. I think it is very risky to trade in bitcoin and altcoins at the moment. No one knows if bitcoin will move to 8000$ form here or pump to 12000$.

Did you guys pay attention how extremely precise Bawb has been lately with his dump calls? If I was a trader I'd make a boatload of money using those. But I'm a HODLer...  Grin
