3761  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Is Russia is on the way to adopt cryptocurrencies? on: April 11, 2018, 06:38:56 PM
Yes you are right. From what I know Russia is like other countries like Malaysia and Indonesia where they allow cryptocurrencies in their country but prohibits them to becomes means of payment. So indirectly using cryptocurrencies by converting is to their Fiat currency is a legal loophole. This is why the Russian legislative department are taking into action because they now want to properly regulate cryptocurrencies in their country. Adoption of the cryptocurrencies will soon follow as last time I check they are in favor of cryptocurrencies in their country.
3762  Economy / Speculation / Re: falling at a price of $ 6k on: April 11, 2018, 05:18:57 PM
I think that the opposite is coming as Bitcoin had failed to go down once more in the 6,500$ level and it has established a support out there, every time it goes down below 7,000$ it will quickly climb back up above it. But if it will really go down more than 6,500$ I believe that there will still have a small price rally up before it goes down to that level.
3763  Economy / Economics / Re: Why I am quitting ICO's on: April 11, 2018, 04:03:06 PM
Judging by how easy it is to create an ICO into a crytpocurrency exchange over an IPO on a stock exchange you will see that internal competition in the crypto market is tough, which became tougher when we are now on a bearish market. The amount of investors who have entered into the market is either not enough or not exploring on other cryptocurrencies aside from the popular ones like BTC, Ethereum, Ripple. Generally what I observed in ICOs are that they go up in the first day but will immediately lose traction and go down. That is why one of the best things to do is observed in their first day but do not yet buy. Right now you can buy some of this tokens at a more cheaper price compared to their original ICO price.
3764  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [10-04-2018] Couple Arrested For Scamming People Into Investing In Bitcoin on: April 11, 2018, 02:29:47 PM
probably preying on people who are not very tech or cryptocurrency savvy at all
also looks like they were tempted by some retardedly high profits, which is a huge red flag in any investment
especially dealing with the things you have some very vague idea about
what is really sad, that some of them might have given away their life savings
I have a very mixed feelings towards it,on one hand ,victims, you cannot be that gullible and greedy,on the other hand
people got to be protected from the scammers like that
You are right they are probably blinded by potential profits on their unknowing victims. Mostly this people who are scammed are people who trusted the criminal first rather than doing their own research. This is the kinds of crimes where they taint the image of Bitcoin with bad reputation. And to think about it this scams won't even last if people are not greedy and also careful with their investments. But we cannot blame only just one person here as a lot of factors lead to this from both the scammer and the victim.
3765  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How I handle crypto regret on: April 11, 2018, 09:17:36 AM
I too always feel regret not on losing gains but for selling early or sometimes in a loss opportunity to buy. But that is when I realize that what I am feeling is greediness. Not being able to be satisfied on the gains I am having and the buy orders I thought was good makes me feel regret. But then this feeling of greediness makes me have wrong decisions that will often lead to losses. That is why I now always think of being satisfied in what I am having.
3766  Economy / Economics / Re: Imagine a cashless society on: April 11, 2018, 06:09:26 AM
Nope. A lot of business men think this could be a possibility but they are not talking about Bitcoin as they now know that Bitcoin is not the best cryptocurrency out there in terms of payment. Look at what Howard Schultz said on that topic. Also in reality cryptocurrencies can be our main mode of payment but their value will still be based on its fiat currency equivalent. Without it they would be worthless, cryptocurrencies might dominate but they need fiat currency to be used as a kind of money.
3767  Economy / Speculation / Re: Cryptocoins are in a recovering mode on: April 10, 2018, 06:03:21 PM
Even though majority of the cryptocurrencies are in green today it doesn't mean that it is in recovery or reversal stage. You should always be careful to bear traps as well as fake breakouts as this are the things that will make you buy something prematurely and you might end up being trap at the end. You should have known by now that rising for a day or two in the cryptocurrencies doesn't mean anything as it can still go down fast. Just like what happened in the last few days where Bitcoin rise rapidly up to 7,160$ but fell quickly at 6,600$. In order to tell that we are in a recovery phase we need to see Bitcoin trying to break out of the long term down trend line.
3768  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to get Cryptocurrency Job?? on: April 10, 2018, 04:28:34 PM
Finding a job where there is an employer employee relationship that pays Bitcoin seems to be impossible. But if you are looking for a work online that involves freelancing you may find some that will pay up Bitcoin as your commission. Advertising or even finding freelance work on websites such as UpWork will help you land a work that will pay up depending on the mode of payment you want. Of course if you want to find a job online you must have the necessary skills and equipment in order to accomplish this things.
3769  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why is Bitcoin's daily price fluctuations getting smaller and smaller? on: April 10, 2018, 07:34:57 AM
One way to answer this one is of course analyzing it via charts. And Technical Analysis say so that Bitcoin on its weekly chart (sorry if I don't have time to post the chart) is on a descending wedge pattern, and on its wedge Bitcoin's price movement is becoming less and less volatile because it is following the pattern, meaning it will only be a matter of time before it shows any break out or break down. But a descending wedge pattern is generally a bullish pattern when all other indicators such as MACD and volume shows the upside of it. BTC could break out any time out of this wedge but by doing so it would mean a weaker reversal in the future.
3770  Other / Meta / Re: Merit is just a bonus on: April 10, 2018, 05:22:47 AM
But I think getting Merits for your post will show that you are indeed learning something from this forum. By other people agreeing with you some of them will give your merits as proof that they have points taken from what you have said. Remaining the same rank for months because you are not receiving merits from your post can only mean two things and that is your post is either low quality or no one is agreeing with what you have said, both of which will show that you haven't learn anything since you have joined the forum.
3771  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Help with filing Taxes on: April 09, 2018, 04:22:29 PM
I am not aware of the exchange you are using but I do believe that all exchanges are keeping all the records of your buy and sell transactions, this should be enough to support your income tax report if they ever tried an audit against you. IRS is pretty reasonable as long as you give them the necessary proof and it is consistent with your report you won't be having additional taxes with that.
3772  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-04-08] First Soros, Now Rockefellers Move into Cryptocurrency on: April 09, 2018, 02:56:41 PM
Funny thing is that the people here and on social media are more impressed by these 'announcements' than the actual market itself is, and I'm glad it is like that. It would be somewhat pathetic if the market reacted on this.

On the other hand, I can't really remember when the last time was that the market actually responded to 'good news'. From what I have seen in the last year or so, the only thing the market responds to is 'bad news'.

If these bobos start to invest in futures and options instead of crypto then all people's excitement is for nothing. The only reason people are hyped is because they believe this will result in much higher prices.
Agreed Bad news really has a negative and somewhat long lasting effect on the market. Good news like this are often translated to as nothing and they will always assume that this kind of news will have no affect on BTC whatsoever. Just like the positive news on the G20 summit as well as Japan having better regulations to their cryptocurrency exchange it made no significant impact on Bitcoin's price proving that FUD is worst, maybe it is because we are in the down market already that is why there is no hope in a good news.
3773  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Indian RBI issue doesnt effect crypto world on: April 09, 2018, 11:41:50 AM
But if you are an ICO developer, I don't think its a good idea to forget India as a potential target market. Remember India isn't really strict when it comes into Bitcoin and other altcoins as they are only strict when it is being used in a performance of an illegal activity. Missing the Indian market which has a billion in population and a lot of youth who are willing to enter into a fast growing investment will make the ICO missed out a lot of potential investors. I don't care about the current status of India now, but if the if it has potential I will still make my ICO available in their country.
3774  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: April 07, 2018, 05:06:13 PM
Looking like a bull trap, if Bitcoin does not go above 7,200 for a while this might be Bitcoin's last time to be in the 7,000$ level. Right now in the 30 minute chart Bitcoin is forming a Head and Shoulder pattern and we are now in the right shoulder. Breaking about the 7,200$ is key in order to make the H&S invalid. 7,200$ is crucial as not breaking it this time might make BTC go down more than 6,500$ this time.
3775  Economy / Gambling / Re: ▂▃▅▆█ BITSLER █▆▅▃▂🎁3 NEW COINS★★★24nd BILLION BETS PROMO★★★🎁 on: April 07, 2018, 08:45:19 AM
I decided to give the site a try... I deposited a bit of BTC, won a couple games, and requested a withdraw. It has been over 30 minutes now, and the withdraw is still pending due to "manual verification". What happened to the instant withdraws?

It's better to send a support ticket via the support button at the top of the site page or you can send an email to this address support@bitsler.com for the best solution. I hope they will give you a quick response!
I agree, and maybe it has something to do with you being a new member of Bitsler. A lot of newbie players have experience this during withdrawals as this I think is the way of Bitsler avoiding alt accounts of users or potential fraud getting money out of Bitsler . Submitting a ticket and waiting for their reply in your email is a better way of solving your issue. They are holding your withdrawal for a good reason.
3776  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to withstand whales? on: April 05, 2018, 06:46:37 PM
Still it cannot prove that not all whales are doing direct trading to each other. If whales need to push the price down they cannot do it just by selling or exchanging FIAT to each other. If Skype Transactions are there way to deal it is because they just want an exact amount or quantity of crytpocurrency they want to get in exchange of their money without influencing the market, but they will always base their trades on the current market value of the cryptocurrency, and they won't stray away far from it.
3777  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoin down trend to 3000 on: April 05, 2018, 03:49:57 PM
What would you think is that Bitcoin prices will fall below $ 5,800. It will never happen in the future. Twice since the beginning of the year, the price of Bitcoin has dropped to the lowest of 6k3, 6k8, never Bitcoin's price below 6k.

I don't want to make assumptions right now but even before this drop from the All Time High we never expected that we will drop below 10,000$ because of what they are calling a "psychological barrier" which a lot of people are proven wrong when it suddenly drop big. And now still a lot of people are arguing that it will never drop below 5,800$ but what is your strong basis this time? Remember with Bitcoin being this volatile and lack of regulation anything can happen to it and dropping below 5,800$ is one of it.
3778  Economy / Economics / Re: What IF? on: April 05, 2018, 09:26:51 AM
I don't think its a "smoke screen" at all. With the rapid growth of Bitcoin in just over a month going to 20,000$ there is no doubt in me that the market confidence will also shrink that one massive selling will give a big panic selling in the market. And if this "moon" happen too fast again we will just see another repeat of what is happening now. Which means another profit taking will happen. The only good thing that will happen is to start things slowly to make traders start buying cryptocurrency again.
3779  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: USA 2018 tax laws on: April 04, 2018, 05:33:40 PM
But when is a miner who trades their mined coins taxed? Quarterly or annually?
It all depends on when the government requires you to file an income tax report. I am not familiar with your taxing Laws but income coming from cryptocurrency will always be included every time you will file a tax report.

Can you deduct electric from gross (or whenever)?
Are you running your mining operations at home? If yes then how will you separate your expenses on your electric bill that is not mining-related. It would be harder to do that as you are sharing the electricity from your mining equipment as well as your other electric appliances and amenities. Too bad your 1500$ bill cannot be used to deduct expenses in that way.
3780  Economy / Speculation / Re: A signal of bull market or trap? on: April 04, 2018, 03:49:49 PM
I think we are on a trap and possibly we can experience again the market in a down trend. So the market would seems slowly recovered I think this mid of year onwards. No one knows actually, but we do hope we can see soon the continuous bull ran market.
The chart says so otherwise. You can see that the volume is neither increasing nor decreasing, there are candles where the volume is massive then the following candles will have a lower volume, this tell us that the traders are still unsure whether they want to participate in the market or not as they are also not aware or unsure of the current situation where Bitcoin is in. Right now with just over 30 minutes of time Bitcoin had drop from 7,200$ down to 6,800$ this shows us how unsure the market is.
