3762  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA EURO 2021 Discussion Thread | Current Phase: Qualifiers! on: November 13, 2020, 02:38:15 PM
I'm not happy about today's results at all. All 4 teams which I preferred to see in Euro lost their games.
North Macedonia qualified to EURO for the first time in history. It's nice that their legend, 37 years old Goran Pandev scored decisive goal.
After amazing performance in Euro 2016, this time Iceland failed to qualify. Pity for them, they didn't played bad today.
Scotland qualified to major tournament for the first time since 1998. They won after penalties, bur IMO they deserved it more than Serbia. Maybe now England, North Ireland and Wales fans will stop laughing from them Cheesy.

I never thought North Ireland would be laughing when they are equally poor in terms of football quality:P But yes, nice to see that and as I commented in another thread, nice to see teams who attack all the way to the end get what they deserve (except North Ireland who drew and then lost in the additional time).

Serbia losing probably is the biggest upset of the night even if because of penalties.
3763  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: help me analyze/predict YFI on: November 13, 2020, 12:41:05 PM
Hey, I'm kinda new to this world and I tried to analyze how will YFI perform in the future. I have also done some research and saw some graphics but since there are a lot of opinions and it gained a lot in just a week I would like to know yours.

Will it renounce to 40k again? Is it going down even more than the first time?

Thanks!

This is that same coin created by that guy whose first coin was a failure right? For me it seems pointless to try and analyze all these defi coins. Especially suspicious when the coin pumps so fast so soon when there really does not seem like there is a future for growth. Lots of opinions and they seem all equal to each other when you look at them. Utility is similar, so is the hype:)
3764  Economy / Gambling / Re: FORTUNEJACK.COM |Deposit 777 play with 1777 mBTC |Live Casino, Slots, Betting on: November 13, 2020, 12:03:07 PM
super slow withdraws, rude customer service.
do not recommend at all.

Hmm,,, not my experience. I was requested to confirm the withdrawal manually by email is all that happened but it withdrew almost immediately after that.

He's trolling.  I could be wrong but I think online books outsource live support to third parties which employees are trained and maintain a high level of standards of dealing with customers.

I think so, but not for crypto ones. Stake have people actually employed by Stake, same as other support at crypto ones I have used. FortuneJack I think so too as my support email came direct from them and they knew the site unlike normal bookies who seem to not even know their own site.
3765  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: YOUC a good example of project recovering from dump because of it's potential on: November 13, 2020, 10:51:00 AM
Hard to say a coin has recovered when it is still only 2% of the ATH. I mean, ETH fell to below 8% of ATH, and others like Litecoin also did the same, and Dogecoin too;) but these to me are what tell us are good coins. They will drop maximum 90% and not for long, and stay long periods in between 10-20% but eventually, they push back.
3766  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: November 13, 2020, 10:18:12 AM
Sadly there won't be any PL matches this weekend. So it's going to be a boring weekend. But I might check out UEFA National league. There's some good fixtures like Portugal vs spain.

That aside, looking at the current premier league table, I have a feeling that we would see a similar standing before the first half 9f the season comes to an end. Leicester, Southampton and Tottenham looking really good thus far.
In Pre-Season Aston Villa was @1000 and three new entries in EPL was nearly around your figure like @2,500 or some sites was offering near @5,000 for them as they feel these are very weak to acheive this mission.

The chances of Aston villa winning the title is pretty slim despite some impressive performance so far. At best, they would get either an Europa or UCL slot.

Ronaldo will play again for Portugal do you think? Some of the best players playing will make it look interesting for Premier League I think. Usually those who play well, come back and play better for their teams (thinking like of my very own Harry Kane for example).

5000 odds for a team to win? I do not think anyone did that anymore after Leicester;)
3767  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: New mining pool imposes KYC and censorship on: November 13, 2020, 08:41:05 AM
Hmm,,, so next time if ever anyone wants to get into the mining business then they are going to have to identify themselves. I guess it does not really matter in the end since they will only be joining a pool and not actually doing their own nodes. Or can you still make your own validating node and join a pool?
3768  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀 Sportsbet.io - Official betting partner of ARSENAL FC 🚀 on: November 13, 2020, 06:49:15 AM
Scotland did it as Serbia last penalty was so poor that I've seen it going miss by a mile.

Are we going to miss the fact that North Macedonia just made it to EURO ? That team barely have good players into their squad but with hard dedication and a really good coach they made it. Also the odds where never with them so this makes the qualification even happier for them and for their country.

Also Islanda lost in the last 2 minutes of the game against Hungary ...because this is what happens when you protect your goal for a full 90 minutes...

Poor Iceland after their last international tournament it looks like they will miss this one now, but like you said that's what happens when you protect you get tired after 90 minutes and start losing concentration. Scotland did that and almost regretted it.

So now Scotland, North Macedonia, Hungary and Slovakia. Georgia will be sad, but at least we have a new player in that tournament. I know nothing about N Macedonia. Will be interesting to watch them play. New format interesting:)
3769  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Golden Unicorn Digital Stamp and 3 Doge Stamps on: November 13, 2020, 06:15:05 AM
Cute things,,, where did you get these ones from? Also,,, may I know what is the value shown on the stamp? It shows from 700 to 50000 what number is this? Satoshi?

Also, this is digital so this means you transfer it to a crypto wallet, is it ERC20?
3770  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 2020... Altseason? on: November 12, 2020, 01:02:14 PM
However, Else and every altcoin can lead into exit scam except bitcoin. Decision is yours, if you pick standard coin since circumstance isn't as in the past.

I almost agree here but I have to say some alts can no longer scam even if they want to (like ETH or LTC or Monero) because they have become decentralized enough to succeed on their own, can also not be easily attacked 51% etc.

Of course, none of them are as solid as Bitcoin but if there is an altseason, it will be good for the coins I just mentioned.
3771  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔶 YOLOdice.com 🔶 commission on LTC investments is at 35% till 31. Dec on: November 12, 2020, 11:05:32 AM
Mempool went down to zero a couple of days ago so yay for us, I know it is back up again right now but hopefully we can maintain things now that hashrate is returning,,, still feel like the batch fee is a bit dear at currently over $8, I know Yolo is doing its best. But looking forwards to the possible rally coming and of course another blocked mempool, do we see any development for Lightning Network? I saw 1 casino already implemented that.

I opened up a new Litecoin bankroll investment yesterday and my ROI went up 2.5% overnight. You never know when you will have these big movements. For the past few weeks Litecoin investments had only seen minimal profits and then we had this sudden jump where the site saw a 200 LTC profit.

Exactly. It happened with Bitcoin even over 10% over a few weeks just suddenly when whales came to play and lost. Long term it always evens out to house edge + losing bets and that is what is important:)
3772  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Seriously Valuable tokens listed on uniswap?.. on: November 12, 2020, 09:53:20 AM
Blockchain platforms will do better IF they actually have utility not just use cases, where all they say is what is possible, not what is actually happening right now.

Defi tokens? They do well now but what happens when people get bored of losing money?
3773  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casinos Withdrawal Fees Rise (!?)|| November 2020 on: November 12, 2020, 09:13:37 AM
Mempool went to zero a few days ago but then back above 20k yesterday so I guess most casinos will be doing their best to keep up. Yolo still at 56k (for batch) so your table is correct, but Crypto-Games doing Lightning Network is a very interesting development. Maybe we can all ask different casinos to do something about it too:)
3774  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: *"LEAKED" Email on KuCoin CEO Johnny Lyu to Their Staff on: November 12, 2020, 07:53:07 AM
I see they are in control of things like what i see is the email sharing some of the things that happened to kucoin, i still believe that kucoin will come back strong in the near future because of the position of They, though people are careful when transferring money or transacting on Kucoin, now i can also deposit and withdraw via some of the top coins and maybe soon they will be back in operation complete with exchange.

Well,,, what can we say? Centralized company, and like any good business, they take care of themselves first and their employees. Like it or not, users and customers are the last people to be thought of their welfare,,, profit right?

We should never be surprised and in fact should expect this to happen all the time with CEXs and any company. Learn lessons, move on, never leave money anywhere.
3775  Economy / Gambling / Re: Sportsbooks that aren’t paying out on Biden winning the US Presidential Election on: November 12, 2020, 07:04:24 AM

I don't know man, official or not, it is obvious that Biden won, we are talking about potentially having 306 votes here and that is way too much to get back from by Trump, he can try whatever he wants, he can try to go to courts as much as he wants, Biden already won. So all sportsbooks should pay up, there is already a growing number of them paying right now and they are not going to change that at all, they are already paid up, so the job is done for them, Trump fanatics could try to make a noise but they will calm down when Biden is literally running the country. I would say just forget about what others are saying and try to make it a marketing thing and pay up, it would help with customer base more than you can imagine to pay "early" compared to other places.

Yes,,, even I who voted for Trump had my bet lost and well,,, I have to accept this. I would hate it if I won and then Biden took everyone to courts as well and then bookies get the stick for making us all wait on unsettled bets:)

Legally speaking, who is running the government now by the way?
3776  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Billionaire Hedge Fund Investor Reveals That He Owns Bitcoin on: November 12, 2020, 05:59:43 AM
In my opinion, there are indeed many rich people who buy Bitcoin as an investment in the digital world, it's just that these people don't know their investment in Bitcoin, maybe only close people who are told such as relatives, friends or wives. Because rich people like this very rarely tell or tell everyone about their investment with other people because this has to be really hidden to avoid unwanted things in the future.

Er,,, of course there are many rich people who buy Bitcoin, that is why we have stupid news like this (whether true or not). You know, most of them probably even "bought" Bitcoin because their investment relationship manager told them too, or worse, their staff member did so, and not even them. These guys do not even use a computer or wallet to access.

Which is why they end up telling. Because everyone else who actually made the decision for them already know.
3777  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Coins that would make a good short term #HODL on: November 11, 2020, 02:39:32 PM
Short term differentiates from each other, when you say short term do you mean like 1-3 months? Because that is short for me, and I think it is quite important that we establish that first. If you think 1-3 months, I think uni token and avax could actually have a good few months, they are really doing well already and they are already liked by many, they already had their super increase and drop from the hype.

However the reality is, they are done yet, they are just starting out, they did increased a lot and they are loved a lot and right now price got corrected but the reality is we are just starting with these things, so at the end of the day with more and more time going on, we are going to see price continue to go up as well. That is why I believe we are going to see higher.

That is what I keep discussing as well with traders and speculators,,, they are used to thinking in terms of days, which is absolute unsustainable for me. Short term is months for me,,, and I only do long term which is years. Medium term is 1 year in my mind. Think about regular investments even for stocks and bank funds, long term is 5 years to 10 years. Medium is min of 3 months:)
3778  Economy / Gambling / Re: Sportsbooks that aren’t paying out on Biden winning the US Presidential Election on: November 11, 2020, 01:04:29 PM
It's great to see sites like Sportsbet.io and Stake payout early (essentially as a promotion, since there's a non zero chance that Biden doesn't end up being president), but I personally wouldn't fault other sportsbooks for not paying out. It might seem like a clear victory for Biden if you look at mainstream media, but there's clearly a number of factors that somehow give Trump a 10% chance of winning.

Besides lawsuits/recounts/direct election effects, there's also the possibility that Biden wins, but dies and Kamala Harris becomes president (0.2% according to Betfair Exchange).

Thank you for sharing these sites,,, very very tempting to put bets on Biden now at 1.1 or even 1.05 seeing as that even by all the accounts of different media he has already won and will still win even with the proper recounts. "Easy" 10 percent winnings if you want to see it like that.

I do think the odds are good value but yes, I also would not blame any bookie for their decisions, whatever they did. This was always going to be a tough one to call.

One big point also is mainstream media is mainly democratic,,, so we cannot hardly see the alternative Republican news easily. Fair point to bring up.
3779  Other / Archival / Re: DeFi hyip is over? on: November 11, 2020, 11:19:08 AM
when hypes were over people can now go back on the old timer coins but there will be less people that are left and they are those that are geniuinely interested on the utility of the coin  .  the rest of them would be on thier hunt again for the new created projects . having an interest on new projects are  fine but i think we should better be foccus on the projects that are already been here before . they are so many of them already , are we still not contented ? im afraid that the cycle will just repeat if we keep on praising new released projects , there will be another hype again after defi

Well,,, there will always be people like me who have never left the öld timer coins as you say, so those people's numbers never decrease, they only slowly increase as more and more people learn the lessons of hype cycles.

I never see this as a problem because the bigger this quiet base grows, the higher the bottom for crypto markets, as we can clearly see over 10 years past:)
3780  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UEFA Nations League 2020/2021 Discussion Thread on: November 11, 2020, 09:53:24 AM
I hate national breaks but I can't stay too far from football bets. That's a too side stick. Grin

There are good clashes today, I'd like to watch Türkiye - Croatia and Germany - Czechia games. Greece - South Cyprus game is early but it looks very boring, I wouldn't waste my time on that.

We should wait for match times and see squads before placing our bets. International match squads are bigger than club squads and every player is fit and ready to play, that's why there's big a difference.

Greece is supposedly playing more attacking football these days but yes the opponents lack quality so they might just relax and try hit a few goals and defend.

Agree to watch for lineups and all that but actually,,, placing a well timed bet on good odds even before things are confirmed is a valid strategy (like how a key player playing will put the odds up or down but if you already know for sure he probably will not play).
