I'm sorry I have to say the situation are a bit different. You guys can delete my post if you think I am FUDDING or PROMOTING. Supercoin is bottoming out since July with very strong development and very good upcoming technology, this is a long process with some sign of strength in the road. Supercoin has been accused by Poloniex to have a "premine" and the whole thing was a mistake who sent the price down 677 satoshi. The difference here is that a mistake send the price of SUPER down and very good technology have been keeping the price alive. Now they are releasing all this stuff in a few weeks. I'm sorry I've been following VOOT and the situation is different, or at least it's not over yet. I remember POLONIEX senario happened before listing on mintpal, after that drama, super hit highest 15k sat after listing on mintpal. After the huge rise, there were rumors and FUDs there, finally super went down and hit hundreds sat, but now is reviving. The similar stories we have |

I say this because the whole organisation of the exchange release and who runs it in the future is a disaster. MsCollec and SmokeTeam between them have royally dropped the ball.
If the community takes on the exchange it absolutely has to take ownership of the code, the whole site. Everything, and no involvement from Smoke or MsCollec at all.
I personally wouldn't trust using the exchange with any of them involved.
So how do we get it? They proposed we buy it? I thought MsCollec paid for them to develop it from community funds? What exactly is the story here?
Unless we can take full control of it I say fuck it, fork the coin, change it's name(VOOT has been dragged through the dirt enough).
Get new devs, a new team and let's start a new coin run by honest people.

The anon exchange is not very important its hard to start an exchange, get recognition, pick up trading volume...especially if your name is VOOT.
You guys should focus on restarting this coin, new dev, new plan.

we are still waiting on what the community wants to do with exchange. the exchange is not beta it is finished and was released on time. we told trading was disabled until we find a legitimate business person to take it over and give control to, we told this to various people over and over again. we gave the link to jefferson before the deadline so the PR team could confirm that it is completed and he could show it to interested parties. currently we have no idea whats happening with it we are unable to do anything very few have made contact with us regarding it. please have a normal discussion about the options for it and then we can have discussions.
also we received no information on what was discussed on IRC or possible solutions in any way. PR is doing a good job but we are completely out of the loop on what the community thinks.
