Edit: mentions don't seem to work either
The Mention notifications are working well on my side. I don't know about the Merit notifications though, since I haven't received any yet today.
3783  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ BitcoinPRBuzz.com's ⚽ Spanish La Liga ⚽ Football Pool Discussion Thread on: September 12, 2020, 01:45:01 PM
Yes, that's the correct address, and welcome on board  Cheesy

You need to be very fast with the transaction, though. There is barely an hour before the first game gets underways and hopefully Trofo would confirm and accept your application to meet the kick off.
Thanks.
I just had to send the BTC using high priority fees and the transaction has one confirmation already. I hope Trofo sees my PM before kick off  Cheesy

Welcome to Bitcointalk Robodice.io

Just checked out the site and layout isn't bad. I also love the simplicity you used to explain how the game is played in the Ann, is it possible to put this somewhere on the website where some newbie can instantly know how your dice game is played?
You might want to policy your terms and conditions
1.  I wasn't able to see any jurisdictions that are prohibited to playing your game. Are all Gamblers from Countries allover the world allowed to use your game?

2. I see some repetition in the ToS

3786  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM] bitcoinmixer.org is a SCAM on: September 11, 2020, 06:59:32 PM
<...>
PM send.
Hey bud, I have seen it. I will also try to create one possibly by Sunday so that namecheap can have action to take it down after reviewing the evidence because so long as it remains only. Some won't even bother searching for scam accusations like the one you made until they get scammed.
3787  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: 6 confirmations questions on: September 11, 2020, 06:33:11 PM
The average time for each bitcoin block confirmation is 10 minutes but the block confirmation time is in actual sense random.
Have a look at this block explorer to see how random it is; https://mempool.space

Here's a little overview of the last 7 mined blocks at the moment, notice how random the time interval is between the mined blocks

3788  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Modifying a signature code, can or should this be considered as plagiarism?. on: September 10, 2020, 10:55:57 PM
It's something tricky and I could depend on how the person who designed the original signature code feels. This kind of topic has been coming up once in a while in the reputations boards. Maybe you can look through the threads to see how members reacted
1. Stealing signature design
2. Plagiarism of My Signature Design - The accused got tagged and profile is banned. Not sure if it was due to the copied signature
3. Copycat Signatures: Chipmixer and Wasabi
4. The signature plagiarism is happening again
5. PLUGIAT ON CREATING SIGNATURES
6. Stolen Signature Design

From my opinion, I think it's unethical especially if you are going to advertise a service. Asking for permission would reduce the possibility of someone being bitter seeing his/her signature design being used someone. I think some people around here are cool if you asked for permission.
3789  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM] bitcoinmixer.org is a SCAM on: September 10, 2020, 10:24:50 PM
I'm using the bitcoinmixer.org for a long time because they have the lowest minimum transaction to be mix and right now I'm getting shocked because the minimum deposit must be

0.0044 BTC and the funds I already sent are 0.001864 only and now I experience this.

https://talkimg.com/images/2023/07/19/Zx3mH.jpeg

At the start, I think it looks like a scam now because I don't have enough funds to make an additional deposit but BTC is BTC so I borrow some money just to complete this transaction. I'm glad I got my BTC.
It should probably be the last time you use them or else you will be the next victim. You were lucky because you mixed small amounts of BTC.

OP I insist you report the domain for fraud giving details of how you were scammed. Smartmixer.io pulled off the same scam tactic, the domain was reported and it was taken down
3790  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: September 10, 2020, 09:28:25 PM
In my opinion, the time has come for Manchester City or PSG. Barcelona and Real Madrid are unlikely to be able to compete. They are restructuring. Bayern Munich can hardly show the same game for the second time as this season. Chelsea and Manchester United have just begun to build a new team.
Manchester City, Naaah
In Champion's League, Pedigree matters a lot. I would rather say Barcelona stands a higher chance of taking it as compared to Manchester City  Grin
How come you guys are not talking about Liverpool anymore?

I see people suggesting Manchester United ahead of Liverpool. Folks here forget so quickly... hahaha
3791  Other / Meta / Re: Recover a blocked account on: September 10, 2020, 12:58:38 AM
What happened to this thread?
Making many appeal threads on Meta won't help. You already made an appeal and received some ideas from members. No positive response or action from the moderators simply means you've got to move on my friend.
3792  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: international online shopping scam(btcsolomining.pw) on: September 09, 2020, 11:58:16 PM
they just ask for BTC payment but not any bank account or anything , after receive payment they send you message to confirm they have received but then they will change their email address on the website which used to contacted to you and also delete your order details on the website
These are the kinds of details we need here in form of screenshot images and Bitcoin Transaction ID links. You should be more careful next time when buying items only. Always first research to see if a company is legit.
A warning about them was made in the forum earlier on before your accusation: [SCAM] BTCSOLOMINING - Fake reviews on product pages

Such warning are meant to keep people like you from getting scammed if only you would care to research first.
3793  Other / Meta / Re: Why was LN moved to altcoins? on: September 09, 2020, 11:30:29 PM
What's the matter if the topic was moved to Altcoins?  Smiley
It's still on bitcoin forum... right? Maybe it would have been an issue if;
1. The post wasn't taking about an ERC20 token wBTC and was major discussing about LN
2. The post was deleted.
3794  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: September 09, 2020, 10:58:29 PM
But I am happy that the Spanish League can be seen in my country. I heard the news that the Spanish League broadcasts will be new, they bring innovations such as real-time player movement statistics, Game Data Analysis, and holographic interviews. I hope this reaches my country.
Of course, you will be able to see everything on your Television. There is no reason they would have to omit fans from your Country from viewing such Match features  Wink

I agree with you about the Real Madrid squad, it is a very strong squad, and if we add the coming back of their loan players such as Odegaard and co, the senior players coming back from injury in Hazard, Jovic, Ascensio, Diaz, it is sure to say that Real Madrid are the strongest team on paper in the La liga, This season is definitely sure to be exciting.
I still feel so sad for Jovic and Diaz. I know Benzema has been the main man for a while now but I think it's time the other lads are also given enough play time so that they don't completely rot on bench like it has been the case for Bale and James.

I reckon Zidane should now prepare someone to take over from Benzema.
3795  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: September 09, 2020, 10:09:22 PM
Perisic should have joined Mourinho while he was still in prime. Now he is getting older and probably a bit more difficult to be the 1st choice in a big team.
Where will he go then.. hmm.. I think not EPL.
Mourinho? You are kidding right?
How many players that Mourinho signed at united did actual play some nice football. If he had gone to United, that would have been the end of his career  Grin
3796  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Warning] Cryptochrome - another DeFi with plagiarized whitepaper! on: September 09, 2020, 09:14:53 PM
I am removing the feedback but this should be the last warning @Wonder_woman or else i will be reluctant to remove my feedback next time.
Don't be greedy. Always research about a project before you start advertising it here.
3797  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Bitcoin transaction fees (in sats/kb). Sunday, Saturday are best to move BTC on: September 07, 2020, 12:22:58 PM
As a service provider, it is reasonable for them to give their customers fast withdrawal with high fee, at least to make sure withdrawal transactions will be confirmed within next 1 to 6 blocks (ideally 1 to 3 blocks). As said repeatedly, mempool size changes fast and they have to take the most safely option for them -- but mempool does not change exponentially within minutes, it is so rare to see such situations.
This is no excuse, I do withdraw from Bustadice and their withdrawal fee is dynamic. It literally changes every minute mimicking the changes in the mempool. The highest I have ever paid in Bitcoin fees for instant withdrawal is about 250 Bits (0.00025 BTC) and this was last month during weekdays when bitcoin fees are high. As for the other option of slow withdrawals (withdrawals are not instant but are processed in 24 hours) the fees are in the range of 40 bits (0.00004 BTC), sometimes even 10 bits. This is also dynamic.

Most of the so-called big exchanges are just hiding behind the withdrawal fee thing to profit more. They will charge you 0.0005 BTC but you will see only 0.0002 BTC paid as fee in your transaction through a bitcoin block explorer.
3798  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: i wrongly sent USDT To ETH address please help on: September 06, 2020, 07:36:00 PM
This should be a lesson to you. Next time you send funds to an address of an Exchange, Casino or service always triple check the address you are sending funds to.
Also find out if they support the coin you are sending to them. You are always warned not to send wrong coins or tokens to the provided addresses so it's partly your fault.
3799  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Bitcoin transaction fees (in sats/kb). Sunday, Saturday are best to move BTC on: September 06, 2020, 06:57:56 PM
If you are not in hurry, I expect mempool will be cleared next few hours and transactions with fee at 1 satoshi/ (v)byte can be confirmed. Remember if you use fee at 1 satoshi/ (v)byte, you will have to see your luck, even when fee dips to this rate, it does not mean all transactions at this rate will be filled. You will have to wait for other chances, next days, or next weekend.
I did manage to make a bitcoin transfer at 1 sat/byte about some 4 hours back. I didn't even wait for more than 30  minutes. All i did was first check out how the mempool looked like.

How I wish Centralized Exchanges would decrease their Withdrawal fee too when the network is not busy.
Because Centralized exchanges also profit from your withdrawal fees indirectly. They charge you excess so that they can take 80% of what you paid to their wallets.
3800  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance's own yield farming and swap platform on: September 06, 2020, 06:37:35 PM
Binance call it "Launchpool". How it works? Investors are required to stake a certain amount of BNB, BUSD, or other accepted crypto into their pool in return for new token as rewards.
I don't really understand the point one staking the BNB or BUSD that has value in exchange for another newly generated token as reward which we are not even sure will have value.
Imagine staking your  hard-earned BNB for 6 Months only to receive a new shitcoin that then dumps to zero value.

I was gonna hit the post button but I just saw another one of their new product. It's called "BSwap"  Grin
Needless to say, it's created to compete with Uniswap and other "____swap exchanges".
Their DEX has never been up to the game to this date, I don't think the "Bswap" or whatever they call it will out do uniswap. Maybe it's best they just stick to the CEX.
