Match fixing is a relatively new phenomenon, at least as far as cricket is concerned. Due to the way the game is played, spot fixing in cricket, which involves only manipulating certain small segments of the match, wouldn't be that difficult to do and it can easily be concealed from those that don't need to know. Be it the federations and anti-gambling committees, or the fans. Unless there is proof that a player was bribed, or there are records of calls or SMS messages, how would you know about it. A player can always he played badly for this or that reason. You are absolutely right. This is the kind of thing professionals do. They never discuss their cases on a mobile phone or on the internet. I assume that all meetings are held in a secure room where no outsider can get in. So proving anything is simply unrealistic.

If they have tiered KYC levels, such as LV.1 -> phone number, name, etc. without asking users to upload documents and selfies, that would be nice.
In many countries, such as in Russia, it was until recently possible to buy SIM cards which were not registered to a specific person. They were not even sold on the black market, but on regular public marketplaces in huge quantities. I don't think that passing the first level makes any sense for a gambling site.

|
I have a negative attitude towards KYC as lately our personal information is being stolen and used without our consent. In addition, I don't think any gambling provider can ensure 100% security of our personal data. No one knows what their leaks could lead to. I am in favour of giving my personal information and allowing it to be processed and stored only in exceptional cases.

Gambling is condemned or even considered a great sin in many religions such as Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, Judaism, Buddhism and others. So I am not surprised that in most cases gambling is portrayed in a negative light.

In some cases people are sentenced to several years in prison for match-fixing, add to that various disqualifications and we'll see that the penalties are severe enough to stop this unlawful and shameful activity. Only it's enough for people with brains. There's always a moron who will still be doing it.
In my opinion it is very difficult to prove that a player or his management was involved in a match-fixing operation. In addition, there is often corruption in law enforcement and minimal publicity plays into the hands of these types of scammers. Maybe that's why we don't see so many high-profile match-fixing cases.

Sometimes martingale works for odd numbers, having the right bank roll and choosing the right games. Because if we all claimed it was that bad people would have stopped talking about it way back ,but instead everyday we see a new betting strategy, somewhere in there some one will mention martingale, besides there is the right way and wrong way of using this strategy.
The standard Martingale strategy links the previous and the next step in the game, but in fact they are not linked by any mathematical or probability characteristics. The probability that every time you flip a coin, the same side will come up is 1/2. Therefore it is impossible to exclude the possibility of n number of one side falling out. Since the player's bankroll is finite, he will lose sooner or later.

But yes, the reason you continue to gamble online is because you still have a lot of money and time to spend on online gambling, but if that supply runs out then I'm sure you will slowly realize the need to take a break from online gambling.
Your advice is very good, and it may be true in most cases. But not all, I have also seen many cases, in my life, even online gambling and real-life gambling, there are many people who still gamble even when they don't have a lot of money, which is extremely bad and it has huge consequences for both them and their family members. Especially every time the big football seasons take place, for example Euro, World Cup. Lots of people have to sell their homes, even die, online gambling may not have such a big effect, but it will run out of money. That's right. I personally knew two guys who had a very strong gambling addiction. They repeatedly lost their entire paychecks in the slots and pawned gold chains, bracelets and rings at the pawnshop. Their craving for gambling was so strong that they not only didn't think about the consequences, but they consciously committed crimes in order to spend a little more time playing slots. I haven't met them in over 10 years, but I know that one of them died of drug addiction and I don't know the fate of the other.

Interesting information to think about.
Sports games have long been a business, and as you know the guys with big money like to control everything. So I am not at all surprised by match-fixing. Moreover, I believe that this kind of manipulation takes place in all countries.

usually this kind of fights are more on exhibitions and me as a childish person i loved it hehe but i noticed that mature people like my dad and uncle will favor real fights (ufc and boxing ) and not wrestling or sumo .
Yeah, it's probably an age thing. When one gets older, one stops liking shows and wants something more serious. Although it's been many years since I've watched wrestling, oddly enough I still remember some of the fighters, such as Hulk Hogan, Sting and Rey Mysterio. Unlike wrestling I never had any interest in sumo so I don't know any of the fighters.

On the contrary, I don't recognise the kind of fights like wrestling or sumo. In my opinion, real fights should be spectacular because of the fierce rivalry between the fighters, not staged shows in which a weaker fighter can defeat a stronger one. I would never bet on sumo.
|
|
|
I was watching a documentary about sumo and it said that the Japanese tradition and ranking system have a strong influence on the sport. Also, sumo has a bit of a stage show in it. Therefore, I fully support the point of view that in this sport the victory can be negotiated in advance and given to whoever needs it.
