I heard that in some other MMA organizations they are openly asking fighters to make up stuff, pretend and act all the time to attract more attention for upcoming fight. There was even one pre fight video of two fighters acting in some roles of detective and criminal, so I believe something like this is happening in UFC but in more subtle level. In one months we are about to see Bellator 277.
Lot of things can happen before next Bellator event and I think they will have to make some changes for their plans in future. In next fee days we have PFL Challenger Series 5, and KSW 68 that look interesting Featherweight Championship main event. I'd totally love to see AJ McKee in the UFC. I think that guy has legit skills and could carry his own vs the top 15 guys at 145 like Dan Ige, Edson Barboza or Shane Burgos. And I could see him go toe to toe against some of the top 10 guys too like Giga Chikadze or Josh Emmet. I hope the match makers don't move him up too fast tho.

There was a lot of hype going in to the fight with Thiago, with a lot of fans predicting a finish or at the very least a dominant performance. That's not what we got, and quite frankly I think his hype has taken a hit as a result. Thiago isn't exactly the Thiago that was fighting a few years ago, while still dangerous, he lacks movement, but Magomed was very gun shy for someone being the overwhelming favour going in to the fight, and he didn't even really try or do that much wrestling. I feel like if Thiago just did a little more he would have won the fight.
Before this fight I said there are two scenarios fight could go and I know most people expected quick finish but not me, because Thiago Santos did have some long boring fights before. It takes two to tango and I remember Santos losing from both Glover Teixeira and Rakic in long fights without much action, some would say boring fights. Let's face it, Thiago is getting older with 38 years and he can't always perform like people expect from him. |

Surprising results today in Championship.
Fulham lost from West Brom and I lost my bet, Bournemouth got only a draw with poor Reading but luckily I avoided betting on that match.
Derby couldn't hold the lead against Blackburn and they collapsed in second half, that could be one more nail in their coffin.
One quick betting predictions for tomorrow is X2 double chance in Millwal vs Huddersfield match.
Both teams are in very good form but I think away team is better and they have more motivation for direct promotion in Premier League.
Previous h2h matches are on Huddersfield side but I am not excluding possible draw here.

It's adios Champions League for Man United This was the lucky night of away teams and I was correct with my hunches that both matches could go as they did. Very low odds for Ajax to win against Benfica was super fishy suspicious, and I don't any Manchester United in any match they play this season. For tomorrow matches I think Chelsea will go in next stage, but Lille can still get positive result or draw,, and I think we can see Villarreal in next stage, odds are great. |

Last night should have been a hitter for most people. Ronaldo I switched out for Kane and he got his penalty so I'm safe on the first selection. We'll know today who's got a shot, I see a lot of people also have Saka (my fav) and Kane, so we'll have a lot of supporters here.

Magomed Ankalaev is seriously going up in rankings after winning against Thiago Santos who lost four from his last five fights.
Light Heavyweight is getting more interesting and I think Ankalaev that is currently ranked in six position must fight with one of the top five fighters next.

Kevin Lee was better and won the fight against Diego Sanchez that surprised a lot with his solid performance.
Sanchez hurt his knee bad with first kick but he managed to overcome pain and win with unanimous decision, getting more money for this then for his fights in UFC.
It was overall good Eagle FC event but I am wondering how Khabib will going forward in future with this world situation we have now.
This week we have other MMA events but nothing big and Bellator is taking a break, cancelling Fedor Emelianenko last fight that was planned for this year.

This midweek we have EFL Championship Round 38 with twelve new matches. Five matches are played in Tuesday and one of my picks is Fulham to win against West Brom. Home team is missing few players for this match and Fulham must punish someone after drawing in last round. I expect Fulham to win with more than one goal difference, and tradition is on their side because West Brom didn't win any match in recent h2h. My Bet: Fulham (-1) handicap. Bournemouth should win at home against weak Reading, but I don't like low odds so I am skipping this match. First half is going good so far for Huddersfield like I predicted, but there is all second half for West Brom to return. I made a double chance X2 bet so even draw would be ok for me in this case. We have ten matches for tomorrow in Championship and I found some interesting for betting. Call me crazy but I can't resist not to play something on Derby against Bournemouth, tradition of previous matches are totally on their side and they need points to survive. Odds are very low on home win, they have some missing players for this match, and my idea is to play some asian handicap like Derby County (+1). In case Derby loses with one goal, I will get my stake back, for more risky bet double chance X2 is also nice. My second bet is Fulham to win against Barnsley and that would be combined with Mitrovic to score anytime. I don't think Barnsley can surprise hottest Championship team, and I wanr them to lose so that Derby can stay in league  Fulham should go with full power now because in next rounds they are facing stronger teams. |
