3781  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why didn't the government leave Silk Road open... on: March 21, 2015, 10:43:47 AM
Quote from: Bizmark13
A decentralized Silk Road would be perfect and definitely worthy of implementation.
Agreed. It would make good business sense for one to begin working on such a site, keeping recent events in mind. And even if the U.S. legalizes all drugs, a decentralized exchange could still serve people from other countries. Also, even U.S. people could simply continue selling drugs on decentralized exchanges, rather than having to open storefronts or some unknown websites. The U.S. won't legalize all drugs anytime soon though, and the closest thing to it would probably be not outlawing nanotech-induced neurotransmitter manipulation.

Which money did the U.S. government steal exactly? Was it BTC that was placed in an escrow-like fashion for drugs that were awaiting delivery? Or was it simply BTC that potential customers were storing on the site for whatever reason? That is a huge distinction. In one case they are simply stealing from people who choose to do as they wish with their own bodies. But in the other case, it's literally guilty until proven innocent.

It is not simple to create a decentralized marketplace, I'm saying a really 100% decentralized and autonomos place for selling whatever stuff you want. We should wait something ethereum ( or maybe better) to start thinking to create a fully and functional decentral. online marketplace. At the end if who will create that marketplace if he will shut down their server, he will disappear with all the bitcoin (or altcoins).
3782  Economy / Services / Re: [BIT-X.com] Earn Bitcoins by Posting | Signature Campaign on: March 21, 2015, 10:33:22 AM
@marcotheminer, news about my question?

Hey marcotheminer,

News about local boards? I remember in the previous week that you said something about them. Can you inform us if there are new changes to the signature campaign rules?

Thanks for the attention.
3783  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why didn't the government leave Silk Road open... on: March 21, 2015, 10:30:53 AM
No one will denounce to the police station that the FBI seized his own bitcoin, are you serious  Roll Eyes? The blocked the site and all the operation because for their "rules" is illegal to sell drugs, weapon, etc...

3787  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Tourists killed in Tunisia museum attack on: March 20, 2015, 09:12:15 PM
Attacks like that are the reason why people won't be coming to islam controlled countries anymore. Egypt and Tunisia both lost so much money on this islamic jihad nonsense. They are digging their own grave at this point. If they want to be hated by everyone they are great at making it real.

Destabilizing the country and spreading poverty (by keeping paying customers away) is a good way to radicalise some desperate people.

Yes you are right, people are poor so they will do everything for a "couple of bucks".

The scourge of dignity that is tourism will persist until all national borders are little more than bitter memories.

People should not visit country at risk (no one knew that Tunisi was one of these country) but they will go in the same way.

3789  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Winklevoss Twins Is At It Again on: March 20, 2015, 08:24:31 PM
Everyone in the future will have the right to issue his own money and that means the cash aka fiat money will die (with the actual economy system). I think Winklevoss brothers have right when they say : 'Cash will be killed' .

3791  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Which Offline Wallet on: March 20, 2015, 06:11:00 PM
@eurekamazda, do you mean desktop wallet? An offline wallet is only for a cold storage (never connected on internet). If you want a desktop wallet I also suggest you electrum, in my opinion is the best (you should not download the entire bitcoin blockchain, is fast & 'secure' _ you should build your security, and the only way to build it is with the knowledge).
3792  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: I bought a painting this week for 20 BTC on: March 20, 2015, 03:29:10 PM
It is a really, really impressive. The painting is worthing 20 bitcoin, on the contrary I think more than 20 bitcoin.

Enjoy it Kialara  Wink.
3793  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: [WTS] bitcointalk member rank account CHEAP on: March 20, 2015, 03:20:56 PM
As far as i know, Hero Member accounts are around 1 BTC, and you are selling a Member account for 0.77, well. Good luck.

even hero member accounts don't go for that much anymore unless they have high activity (700 or more) or lots of posts and maybe some trusts

Hero account go for 0.7 if they have 550+ activity .
700+ activity means Close to Legendary , so they are little more over 0.8-1 btc

I read somewhere that only few user gets promoted to Legendry but not all even if they have much Activity
According to you how much Activity is required to get promoted to Legendry ??
Activity of legendary accounts is totally random, between 775 to 1030 activity. It is fairly rare and only some very early adopters get them.

I agree that OP is selling the account alot above market price. Since this is a free market, i cant say much.

It seems you don't read all the thread before post your "thought" :

Do you people read at all?
He said 0.08 and later 0.077. So the 0.77 was obvious mistake.

3794  Other / Meta / Re: Madness - Banned once again on: March 20, 2015, 01:35:01 PM
Well I think it would be somewhat implied that you would be banned from a campaign if you are denied payment, especially for that reason. This is further implied by the fact that marcotheminer has had a rhetoric of fighting spam.

The policy of allowing people to continue participating in the campaign after being banned is a policy that almost encourages spam.

That's not the problem of the enrolled users but of the manager (of sig. campaign). The staff (if want) should put some rules above the sig. campaign itself and try to enforce them; but I have seen only a lot of users banned (and banned again) like Madness and few others. It seems they didn't never read the forum rules.
3795  Economy / Services / Re: Offering Free Escrow Service | Fast, Secure & Reliable! | *Multisig Cold Storage on: March 20, 2015, 01:26:57 PM
Why did two random newbies make random "reserved" posts in posts 3 and 4? Are they alts of yours?

Also I don't think people should care how exactly you store your customers' funds as if they are somehow lost then you should cover the losses with your own funds.

Yes don't make my same 'mistake' set a limit max of the bitcoin for your escrow service and open your eyes there are a lot of scammers and dishonest person that want to 'screw' you.
3796  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Decentralized and Autonomous? on: March 20, 2015, 01:15:01 PM
Wait a few days and you will see ethereum  Roll Eyes

Ethereum is not a DAC. It's a platform for DACs.

So we should wait the platform and after we can start to think about DACs.

Wouldnt it be possible to make a CloudStorage DAO with software from Storj or others.

Maybe, but the question is about a working solution, not a hypothetical one.

No at the moment doesn't exist a really and functionally DAC, we are still in an "experiment".
3797  Economy / Services / Re: Offering Free Escrow Service | Fast, Secure & Reliable! | *Multisig Cold Storage on: March 20, 2015, 10:56:29 AM
Can I ask you to explain better what do you mean when you are saying multiSig cold storage? I have seen bitrated, maybe you can register on it and after put your profile link here.
3798  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Sweden the welfare state - I get $1k for doing nothing now on: March 20, 2015, 10:28:20 AM
how long til i become a sweden national and qualify for these benefits?
Google Sweden immigration, but I think it happens immediatly you become a legal Swedish person.

I think the system is fucked. Your world view seems very black or white, I don't deserve that much free money because of a diagnose that on paper says I have social faulties but am more intelligent than the avarage.
If the top 10% gave up their 90% wealth, everyone else would have 9x more money. Reflect on that before being so quick to utter the words, "I don't deserve".
Yeah true to some degree, but that's a differnet league, not gonna happen.

You are very lucky, 1'000 dollars "for free" is better than nothing or am I wrong? However good luck with your life, here at moment I'm here in Italy and we have an "strong crisis" right now (so each € is important for 'live').
3799  Other / Meta / Re: Madness - Banned once again on: March 20, 2015, 09:00:42 AM
Hi,
So yeah , after this thread here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=976685.0 , I waited for couple of weeks , got Unbanned Wednesday (couple of days ago) . well .. I was happy to come back and I started posting once again and today when I woke up I found my account banned once again and not sure what are the reasons ... and for 60 days which i honestly don't think it's fair and I need a second chance (if i did something wrong)

I'am only posting , what I did wrong exactly here ? Are my posts looks like a spam to you or off-topic ? beside none of my posts got deleted at all . thanks
=> https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=375915

"I'am only posting" maybe (as the other time) it is the content of those posts. Try to contact again BadBear or wait a reply (from him) here in the thread.

3800  Economy / Services / Re: Earn up to 2$ per survey on: March 20, 2015, 08:43:53 AM
Can you prove what did you say? Maybe put the link here between the tag code. I would like to scan it and open on another 'machine'.

Thanks.

I sent him a PM after he sent me the first one saying that they weren't affiliate links they were direct downloads and that pdf files are notorious for being undetectable with viruses when put through an antivirus.

He replied with the lower message, acknowledging that he knew the methods, yet he still expects people to trust him.

If you want your wallets, password & information stolen, proceed. If not, don't contact this user.

Thanks for the screenshot of the PM,  a warning to al the users (that are readin this post) : Don't open any link that Priiloader has sent you privately.

However Vod has already give him a negative trust.
