Mislim da je theymos tako negdje i napisao. Izvorni kod foruma je do sada toliko modificiran da je bilo kakva nadogradnja na noviju verziju praktično nemoguća. Interesting question. If you recall all the sports in which I know successful players from India, then I can name chess only. Apparently this is due to the fact that chess is the cheapest kind of sport and historically India was a poor country. I think after some time, when the standard of living in India rises, we will see many different successful athletes from there.
What about running (or walking, if you consider that a sport)? You can run anywhere and anytime without requiring any equipment or prior training. And what about football (not American)? Everyone plays football. You just need shoes and a ball. You can make goals out of just about anything you can find. Oddly enough, but these are expensive sports - running requires systemic training in good conditions, and not just a street where you can run. Football is an even more expensive sport - you need a field to play, a ball, a goal, a football boots and a lot of partners ready to train regularly. I agree. However, that only applies at a professional level. If we are talking about amateur sports, most of it is not really necessary. African and Southeast Asian countries generally don't have very big GDP and yet these countries produce some of the best runners in the world. Football is somewhat similar. Many world-class players come from less-than-optimal economic environments and there have been many cases of youngsters who were born in slums becoming professional footballers. Despite its heart-breaking nature, I think poverty can be an incredibly powerful motivator. |

As I understand it, are you not interested in amateur football competitions (now there is an olympics, for example)? No man, thanks for asking but that is not for me. These days I would rather do other things than betting on competitions which I know nothing about. I always prefer to bet on the major football leagues since I follow them and I have more info available before placing my bets. I can definitely wait, I have no rush to bet during the holidays. This is a good strategy, I also try to place bets on those events where I am well versed. Now the semifinals of the Olympic tournament between Mexico and Brazil are taking place and, apparently, if nothing changes in the next 5 minutes, we will see a penalty shootout. This is quite unexpected, and many bettors who made bets on the victory of Brazil have already lost. Yeah, that's what I think too. Most of it is on the sport I follow the most, football. There are so many games in a season, but I tend to stick to the teams I am familiar with. After some thought I am pretty confident in my selections. But of course, that doesn't mean a guaranteed win, it just gives a sense of security when placing a bet. |

I don't bet on sports very often because I prefer slots. But sometime sports betting for match that fall into the big match category will also be quite fun to place bets on. So far I'm not addicted to betting on football match because to be honest I'd rather watch than bet. That may be different from most other gamblers who have an interest in sports betting.
For sports betting, I prefer to choose the team I like or my favorite team regardless of how big the odds are given to it by the betting site. In most cases, the favorite team to win the match quite often gets a small odds from the betting site but the chance of winning the bet is much greater than the opposing team. The risk of losing will probably be much lower if I choose my favorite team in betting, that's why I can't win much in sports betting. I will take the odds of 1.5 for the favorite team if the site is willing to offer it or not bet at all.
Usually bookmakers understate the odds on the favorite, so it is quite difficult to be profitable here. Perhaps it is worth making bets online and waiting for the match to start unsuccessfully for the favorite, in this case the odds will increase and it will be possible to make a profitable bet. Yes, that's what I do sometimes if I'm watching the game live.
