I'm not convinced that Bitcoin can solve the problem of corruption. It's a problem deeply connected with the society and how it's functioning but the currency is actualy irrelevant. Maybe cryptocurrencies and Bitcoin could weaken it a bit but only at the begininig, later the corrupted parts of society would adapt and no significant progress would be done.

Nice to have this overview but I have to notice that the current choice of Bitcoin debit cards is very poor. Visa has made really big mess with the latest decision and currently working cards have either high fees and low limits or aren't usable everywhere and in all countries. Is there realy no provider that has serious business interest to cover this area?

Don't waste the words, seems like no one is listening. Is there realy so little number of experienced, cool headed users that behave rationaly and the majority are newbies in crypto world who react with panic on every bad sign on the market? By now it should have been different but looks that just the few have learned the lesson.

I think it's wise to listen to advice of experienced users. If you are planing to stay with Bitcoin on long term, then hold. If your goal is only short term profit maybe some other coins would be better choice for you. You have to decide on your own what is your strategy and the final goal. Then you will also now what to do.

I don't beleive that services close accounts for no reason. There is always a reason that is according to some of their rules, the question is only if users read the terms of service at all, are they acceptable for them and what did they do to violate them. However, I don't approve poor customer support so they should be more agile and user friendly in providing clarifications.

To my opinion we have already touched the lowest Bitcoin price in this round of downfall. However there is still time to buy because the price isn't that high yet and if you buy now you can look forward to future profit that will come soon. Still I don't expect very big and fast price rise, it will go more moderate this time.
|
|
|
Maybe you are not going to like this but you have made the first mistake when you bought at 19000$. You probably expected the price to reach 25000$ or more but that didn't happen and you're in trouble. To make it simple you invested more money than you could afford to lose. And with money you actually didn't have. Huge misjudgement. I suggest to hold that what you have, so forget about that funds as long as it takes to get to that value again.

This was just expected. Lack of legit Bitcoin debit card providers after Visa retreived from the market made a opportunity and opened a big space for suspicious sites to offer their services and scam people. Don't be naive and check everything twice, protect your personal and financial data. No matter how much you want or need the card don't fall for ponzi and scamer scheems.

Yep. That price is correct. I guess for many people it's the only option now.
Considering how many of these cards have disappeared I wouldn't lay out so much money unless I had a cast iron guarantee it was gonna be here to stay.
And I don't see how they can do that.
The fact funding takes so long tells me it's some type of improvisation that the card company is unaware of.
This price is exaggerated. They are actualy misusing situation that users have no choice and this could be called dishonest business practice. At least I would call it like that. They don't care about the users but only want to make as much money as they can while this gap on the market lasts. This is miserable.

What news? You haven't posted or quoted anything so I don't see any news and that they are coming from USA. But even without that we all know that Bitcoin will reach 8000$ and more again sometimes. You don't have to be an expert or scientist to see that.

When Bitcoin had such high price it wasn't the most convenient time to invest. But those who have bought then thought the price will jump to 30000$ or even 50000$ soon. Of course that wasn't very realistic to expect but now what is done, is done, no turn back. So don't make another mistake and sell now with such big loss. Wait and hold, it might take a while, even months but be patient, it will pay off.

At this stage it's too early to say if this is good or bad for Bitcoin. Anyhow, it's certainly promotion for Bitcoin that such prominent company has made such decision. On long term the time will tell what is their final goal. In the meanwhile that could also mean more competition on mining software market and lower prices.

Price is crossed 7000$ and it is now 7250 on Bitstamp,is this true recovery or just one more trap we'll soon find out. What is more important what will be reaction if price start to rise in the days ahead, some people just wait higher price to sell and return their investment and to end up with this story.
One thing is certain, some have earned big money and the vast majority is again lost due to panic and FUD.Let's see how high BTC can fly today,8000$ in sight?
Possible. I think the worst is behind us, Bitcoin has reached the lowest value in this dump and now it will start to go up again. Maybe not as fast as we all would like to but patience will be rewarded. And, yes some have and will make a fortune on this situation, like always. And some will never learn anything out of such situations.

To my opinion Bitcoin has kept its popularity among true and faithfull long term users. Those who have maybe abandoned it are people who were only looking for fast profit and nothing else. These kind of users come and go and they don't actualy matter that much. But Bitcoin will keep the number one position in crypto world, you don't have to worry about that.

Despite all theories I seriously doubt that Bitcoin market can be manipulated. Not for real. In situation like this when the price is falling users are looking for reasons and market manipulation could be one of them. But believe mr, there is no conspiracy theory and Bitcoin price is moving freely up and down.

To my opinion those people that you call "general population" are mostly users that have joined crypto world recently looking for a quick profit. And they are probably only making situation worse by panic selling. The price will recover but this doesn't function on demand and someone wishes. Patience is needed.

I suggest to read terms of service twice, this often can literaly save you. Many exchanges and other services could easily ban you because of withdrawing money from gambling sites. You could end with account and funds blocked, especialy if it comes to American site. Try some alternative method like to withdraw on card.
|

You are both newbies here on forum but on words you are saying I would also say you are newbies in crypto world and don't have experience with Bitcoin, at least not enough. I think this is sufficient to say, have no other comment to add. But if you wish you can continue to cry and panic.
|
|
|
The same story repeats every time when Bitcoin goes down. Panic and speculation about the end of the Bitcoin. The ones who are most to be blamed about that are new unexperienced Bitcoin users and those who wanted to become rich over night. I guess there will always be people who don't know enough about Bitcoin, who didn't go into deep of world of cryptocurrencies and that is why with every price drop we see the same situation.

I often see here people who are selling a house, car or now land to buy Bitcoins. I'm not sure this is the most clever idea, because like in every investment you should buy Bitcoins with extra money that you don't need. But now since you have already sold the land, don't do another reckless move. Don't sell Bitcoins but hold them long term. With time the price will eventualy go high and you will not having losses.
