3781  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investing in Casino tokens such as BFG, OWL or TFS on: July 24, 2022, 07:51:28 AM
If we do try to look on overall utility of these gambling-based tokens then i dont really see for it to be needed but rather just an another money-grab by the team. Why the heck they would be creating it out for what? Functionality or usage on the site itself? We do have bitcoin and other top ranking coins listed or option so it is really just understandable that it wont really be getting much attention
for people on making use or buying those coins for the benefit on using it into its dedicated platform. As long it wont really be seen on other places then dont expect for such improvement
or popularity to risen up.Their prices is almost into the floor comparing into its previous ATH and i dont see the point nor being worth for people to make out some investment
with these gambling based tokens/coins.
Extra benefits inside the platform, just like a VIP program for loyal customers, so they increase their business' range to investors, rather than solely gamblers. From all casinos' tokens I prefer FUN, because freebitco.in offers benefits in bitcoin (extra interest rate), so you earn more bitcoins by investing in FUN, while also earning interest over FUN tokens during the period of time you choose locking your funds.
On the other hand, I would avoid venturing myself with tokens which don't offer advantages in bitcoin for holders and investors. Bitcoin must be always the focus in crypto market, doesn't matter how high are the yields paid by altcoins' investments.
3782  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Profitable are Gambling Bots? on: July 24, 2022, 07:19:45 AM
By using the bots, there will be no fun as you will not be gambling. Its the bot who will gamble on your behalf and you will earn/lose money.

Obviously, that's why the user used the bot to gamble the money on their behalf.

What's the connection between it on the fun part?

If it's winning or losing in the end, then that's the question and we don't know the result at the end. Users considering using bots not actually to make income out of it but just to follow a certain algorithm that the users want to apply to that game.

Gambling has a big connection to the fun part too. There are gamblers who gamble to have fun and entertainment. Gaining money from gambling is a secondary thing for them.
I am referring to those types of people as they will never prefer to use bots and will always prefer to play themselves and have fun  Wink
Some gamblers also have fun using bots. That is because bots help gamblers testing complex strategies which involve more elaborated calculations to increase bet size or winning percentage on loss, then return to base bet after a determined length of loss streak or winning streak... The fun isn't always on the profit or on the excitement of clicking the roll button, but also on the possibilities of trying something new and reaching to different results. It's like challeging the own mind in search for the most efficient and cost benefit method.
3783  Economy / Economics / Re: You don't earn money only from others, but also when you avoid spending your own on: July 24, 2022, 05:53:24 AM
Taking out unnecessary expenses is definitely good, but looking for additional income streams is definitely the way to go. Very early on I stopped eating out frequently because I couldn't afford it, but I love eating out so much that I forced myself to look for more income streams to be able to afford it. Life is short! Hustle hard to be able to afford the things you enjoy.
I love eating out too, and someday I would like to do this more often, but first I think I must try building up the finances, so futurely I won't have to worry if I'm spending too much on this.

However, as you said, life is short, so we must do the best as possible with the time that is given us.

Eating out and shopping for unnecessary things becomes normal when they get used to it. Its just like us drinking beers every night when we know already how it feels even during out teen days. Old habit die hard I guess.

Its why I like reading success stories of people in the worse situation in life but had stand the test of time with success. There are many of these poor men disliked by their in-laws because they were not rich at all but prove to be successful in saving and investing.
Oh, talking about beers and drinks you reminded me another example: to drink at home vs. to drink at the pub. Some people go to the pub every night after the duty and pay much more for the same bottle of beer they could purchase at supermarket to drink at home. I see so many doing this where I live and then I have a clue of one of the reasons why they live in precarious conditions...

If you want some interesting info about the spins, here's my 1009 saved up spins
It gives you an average of 38,75 satoshis per spin (adding btc and RPs prizes together, while ignoring lottery tickets).

Your results are slightly above my first month's results, since my average was 33,95 satoshis per spin.

Thanks for sharing.
3785  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If There's No Casino Signature Will The Gambling Board Still Be The Same on: July 24, 2022, 04:29:45 AM
Probably it would remain as one of the most actives boards of the forum. For some reason crypto enthusiasts are also gambling enthusiasts and this has already become a traditional and popular board for gambling discussions even for non-forum members. I say that, because when I search for something related to gambling on google, some of the first suggestions redirect the reader to bitcointalk forum gambling's threads.

Moreover, I see gamblers stay active here looking for news regards casinos, so they don't miss any flash promotions and welcome bonuses in case of brand new casinos launching recently.
3786  Economy / Economics / You don't earn money only from others, but also when you avoid spending your own on: July 24, 2022, 04:12:33 AM
Usually people get anxious and frenetic for new sources of income, to find new jobs, so they can maximize their patrimony as soon as possible, but many of them forget you don't accumulate wealth only when receiving money or being paid by others for a work. We can also decrease our expenses and stop third-partying tasks we can do ourselves, so at the end of a monthly cycle we will have earned more money to invest and make it grow overtime.

People create so many worthless fixed expenses nowadays. It can be monthly subscriptions of services they barely use, eating out too often, purchasing superfluous clothes, accessories and items in general just for vanity towards the society. Sometimes people have all the tools they need on their hands to finish a solid building, however, since they don't know how to use them properly, it will look like they constantly need more and more tools indefinitely.
3787  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling in Moderation, Pros can out weigh its Cons in Financial and Health? on: July 22, 2022, 10:02:54 PM
In my opinion, besides the benefits mentioned on this thread, the biggest and most important learnship you can take from gambling is to recognize and accept your limitations, to be humble and to understand you can't win at all costs. And if you don't accept this fact, you are going to reach deeper and deeper in a dark pit of losses and failure until you finally accept that. There is no other path to trail or shortcuts in gambling. It's not easy to learn this lesson in life, but gambling has this capacity and is able to teach this to everyone who venture into betting activity thinking they are playing by their own rules, rather than the casinos' rules, which are in fact insurmountable.
3788  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Physical Bitcoin for the 3rd World on: July 22, 2022, 08:35:39 PM

To create physical bitcoin doesn't look a good idea, because it's not supposed to work like this. Bitcoin demands internet access, so people can deal in real time person to person, without involving any central middlemen and barter systems.

A holder of bitcoin cash is not restricted from cashing in if he wants. No one is stopping him. Bitcoin cash simply allows the use of bitcoin offline. It is even environmentally friendly because offline transactions do not require electricity - which has been a big concern lately.
But the holder will need to trust a kind of authority who will say what is the legal bitcoin cash and what isn't. This central authority is going to replace blockchain function, which inevitably demands internet connection to work guaranting legitimacy to every transactions in a decentralized concept.

To have a central regulator issuing bitcoin cash officially raises a lot of doubts about the legitimacy of the process. For transparency and autonomy purposes it's better to simply work to connect people to internet faster as possible. Contact the government's agents, contact crypto businesses which will be benefited by the spread of internet access, contact philanthropist organizations which give assistance to third world countries.
3789  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why does Bitcoin seem to have a high influence over other cryptocurrencies? on: July 22, 2022, 07:49:12 PM
Let's say bitcoin is the main representant of cryptocurrency sector, but not the only member of this sector. So, when people develop interest for bitcoin, it's normal the whole sector is affected positive as well indirectly, and that is when we see the impact and influence of bitcoin over other cryptocurrencies.

It's like a very popular shop localization. People go to the area for that shop in special, but every other businesses around will be benefited as well by that popularity, since people will cross by them and consequently some bucks will drop on their pockets too, although they aren't the main reason why people are there. Somehow it's what happens with altcoins.
3790  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Countries have banned Bitcoin; Do you believe is because of criminal activities on: July 22, 2022, 04:29:17 AM
Some governments are afraid of bitcoin, because their national fiat currencies are weak and valueless, what can encourage citizens to stop dealing with fiat and adopting bitcoin for every daily transactions. In case that happens, the local economies will collapse temporarily and that is the reason why I think some governments are so concerned about bitcoin adoption. In fact, they just need to learn more about bitcoin and open their minds to new ideas that could help them improving the life quality of their people and financial standards. They should follow the steps of innovative countries which are ahead in technological and social matters, also adopting a friendly stance towards bitcoin.
3791  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How can I earn from cryptocurrency as a starter? on: July 22, 2022, 03:28:29 AM
Short term trading is like gambling, you can't expect to make guaranteed income from this activity for a living. If you want to trade you need to be prepared to receive your first earnings after years of investment, by being a long time holder. The currently bitcoin price is relatively cheap, considering how further it has already reached last year (almost 60,000$). So you are a lucky person to be on the right place at right time, having access to an opportunity which is going to be missed by most people in this world. It's up to you to take this chance and to organize yourself financially to be able to hold for the period of time mentioned above, if necessary.
3792  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BTC or Gold Investment? on: July 22, 2022, 02:30:11 AM
For me bitcoin is a more versatile alternative, since you have simplified access to your coins, you can start investing any amount of money disponible and you can do much more with your bitcoins than you can do with gold. That is, you can pay for goods and services, invest, gamble and send money from one side of the world to the another side in a decentralized way, paying affordable fees.
Furthermore there is the huge potential of profit on long term, that is also an advantage compared to gold, which is pretty stable. On the other hand, if I were a big investor, with many assets and properties under my control, I would probably invest in gold as well to diversify the patrimony and protect myself against inflation.
3793  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Physical Bitcoin for the 3rd World on: July 21, 2022, 10:00:39 PM
So many of the people without electricity have a mobile phone, which means they go somewhere to charge it. It's also one of the most expensive countries for mobile data.
Even though "cheap" cellphones are more common than desktops and laptops, poverty inhibits Internet accessibility.
It is something which can be only overcome within time. You know 10 years ago internet access was much more scarce than now. But at this moment, areas where internet didn't reach before already have connectivity, while places where there was internet access, but it was precarious, have developed quality a lot. It's a process which takes time to happen, unfortunatelly, and we have to wait...

To create physical bitcoin doesn't look a good idea, because it's not supposed to work like this. Bitcoin demands internet access, so people can deal in real time person to person, without involving any central middlemen and barter systems.

The new generations have an essential role in poor areas, so they can introduce the older ones to technology. We have been seeing this on this forum from times to times in different threads, especially at Bitcoin Discussion board. A week ago I've seen an african teacher who bought a laptop with signature campaign income to teach his students about bitcoin and blockchain. Step by step things are improving thanks to these people.
3794  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Smartphones: Multi-tabling insanity! on: July 21, 2022, 09:13:23 PM
I do have those presumptions that people doing things too much and make it look cool just for the views.  Cool
That is a fact. People are constantly trying to find the most exciting thumbnail, video title, eccentric way of doing things in order to gather a public for the views.

I have always been fascinated by these players able to manage many tables together Roll Eyes ...
certainly here is a "record" case (among other things, he uses mobile phones and not a PC screen ... ) but I ask myself a question ... considering how much time/attention and other resources must be dedicated to an activity of this kind ...
is it really worthwhile? is the risk to be run adequately remunerated?
You mentioned other resources and it made me think it's not cheap to run so many devices at same time. You have to invest in equipments, energy to recharge all of them and there is also a natural degradation of each device, especially when using them often and for long periods of time. Someone must calculate every details very well before running a 'smartphone farm'.
3795  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Smartphones: Multi-tabling insanity! on: July 21, 2022, 06:57:03 PM
That is probably a fake situation to create hype on youtube for views. It's not possible for a human being to play on all those tables simultaneously while remaining efficient and sharped. Even if it were a simple repetitive grunt task where he needed to click the same buttons on every screens, it would be too much.

Just try playing 2 or 3 games of any kind (not necessarily gambling) at same time and observe what happens to your mind. It feels like it's going to blow up! Personally, I can't do this without having serious consequences later related to the body's capacity to relax and rest.
3796  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Advice from a stranger on: July 21, 2022, 06:44:29 PM
Don't invest your capital on new projects in this season of bearish, because many new projects are not favourable to traders in this season which many has changed their mind to continue with old projects that is well confident to achieve something good at the end of the project. I think, some new projects acted well in the beginning to make the traders to believe that the new projects is the best projects in the community just to attract many traders to invest huge amount of money before the project will start misbehaving to cause the traders regret at the end of the projects.

Same schemes from expert scammers, they will bring hypes and invest also with a good amount of money to pump the value of the project, once they've notice that they already gained the attention and the trust of the traders and investors they will start selling and dumping the coins that they are holding.

It's just a repeated system from same facilitators that will introduce another new coin/project with the same concept, lucky for the earlier investors who can ride in the pump while a sure lost to those who will invest when the market start to collapse.
That is why new projects should be avoided, at least with the biggest portion of your funds. It's much better to earn less profit over bitcoin and ethereum, but with the guarantee those are strong cryptocurrencies than investing in random recent created projects promising insane returns, that end not being that good after all.
I know it will really depend on the kind of investor he is, but by what I've already observed, conservative investors do better on long run in most cases, while very few aggressive investors do well on long run, with most of them totally going bankrupt meanwhile.
3797  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is yours thought about SLP( Smooth Love Potion) ? on: July 21, 2022, 05:12:23 PM
SLP has already had its ATH around 0,21$ or 0,23$ if I remember correctly. Now it values a dust of a cent, reaching its lowest price recently.

I don't know if this investment is a good idea, I only know it's a very risky one, because you are relying on two main factors to make it work: Axie developing a smart system through Axie Origin game to increase SLP demand plus value and players must feel encouraged and incentivized to start playing Axie again.

Just to illustrate what is happening right now, there are some good news going on, although I can't say how impacting they are going to be:
Axie Infinity's SLP Burn Rate Exceeds Minting Rate for First Time Since August 2021
3798  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Advice for poor people who wanna get some crypto on: July 21, 2022, 06:44:16 AM
The problem with bounties is you never know how much you are going to be paid to execute tasks (or if you are really going to be paid). When you are serious about what you are doing and want to make sure the employeer will be satisfied with your work it becomes a big issue, because you also expect reciprocity from him, and when you see the employer gives zero importance to you as worker, at a point he doesn't care if your payroll will value anything after all, you just conclude it doesn't worth to do those tasks anymore.

I think everyone, including newbies, deserve transparency and respect from their contractors. It's not because they are starting now that they should be treated in a different manner, with less consideration.

That is why I think every offers you are going to complete must set payrates in a currency which has value. For newbies, I think they could try offerwalls in generous platforms, like Cointiply. There you can complete simple tasks, download apps, reaching goals inside mobile games and be paid for that. Some are really easy and simple to complete and will rewards few dollars that can be saved and held in bitcoin with potential to grow x3 (or more) on the next years.
3799  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Gambling companies can get more users to deposit. on: July 21, 2022, 06:16:22 AM
Without a doubt some casinos are using know your customer policies as an excuse to try to not pay their clients their rightful winnings, now there are some cases in which something like this is justified like when there is a suspicion that the person behind the account is somehow cheating, using multiple accounts or connecting through a VPN, but when this is not true then I think that it is unnecessary to ask for personal information because the gambler has demonstrated that they are not trying to abuse the casino.
That's why asking KYC is useless since it doesn't actually solve the multiple accounts problem, one can create fake KYC or bought someone KYC. Actually the casino is take advantages to get user KYC, as we don't know what they will use our KYC for. I believe there's fraudulent site which have purpose to get KYC as much as they can, while their project will be abandoned after their purpose are completed.
True. There are people who use their parents or relatives' IDs in order to create multiple accounts at online casinos and take advantage at the maximum level of every bonuses, offers and VIP programs disponible there. And actually, casinos can do nothing about it, because how they can have assurance the person behind the screen is really the ID owner, and not someone playing through others' accounts? Moreover, I suppose casinos aren't too worried regards this issue, because they know the house always win after all, and the person playing in 2 or 3 accounts is going to start losing sooner or later...
3800  Economy / Gambling / Re: hello Players!! on: July 21, 2022, 04:53:32 AM
I would suggest you to visit popular gambling platforms, observe their layout, features, organization and interactivity to absorb and integrate on your website what players most like and desire when accessing a virtual casino. At same time, incorporating your own style and brand to your platform, so players can have an unique experience there.
Keep in mind even color patterns matter and will remain on the imaginary of gamblers after a gambling session on your website. So make sure to choose it carefully to be original, remarkable and stylish.
