I believe the picture below will be able to answer your doubts about copy trading. This is my own account with InstaForex.

Hope this helps!
3782  Economy / Speculation / Re: Silk road-founder-ross-ulbricht-predicts-bitcoins-price-falling-to-3200 on: May 10, 2020, 07:12:40 PM
Is Ross Ulbricht using Medium from Prison?

Anyway, just like John McAfee, Ross also lost his relevance from crypto market. God bless your wealth if you believe a dark web drug dealer can predict about the future of the bitcoin price.

Bitcoin can't see an abrupt drop now at this point. If it happens, it will be a total massacre because all mining operations will be forced out of business and bitcoin network will become unusable!
3783  Economy / Economics / Re: Foreigners being airlifted by countries but government is just ying to get money on: May 10, 2020, 05:58:18 PM
Hey

So apparently I had the chance to travel and study and due to Quarantine students cannot go home .
Government is broke and they are trying their best to get money from somewhere.
Economic situation is very bad in every country and every single person is suffering.
Government have agreed to send special planes to lift students off from where they were studying for the time being, but unfortunately they are asking them to pay 750$ for one side , when the normal fare is approximately 350$ .
Is this right ? Government is actually accumulating money from students and other people stranded abroad , charging them 2 X , when they should understand this is a time of need and they have to be helping their citizens.
Is it right to try and improve your economic situation by forcing some half of the society?

See people would have to certainly go ofcourse , their families are there , but government instead of understanding is actually making it worse for them .

I think government should focus for a while more on its citizens rather than look for forced financial help from them , this is not how you go about taking care of the economic health of your country.

Same thing is happening in my country as well. recently India started air-lifting their citizens from Middle East and the citizens have paid double than the normal price. More over these citizens are forced to pay for their 14 days isolation is various hotels at their home state. That's definitely not right but government is also helpless at this moment. In my country, government has closed down all liquor and tobacco shops when the lock down started almost 50 days ago and every single state is now facing a huge revenue shortfall. Also normal service class people and spending very cautiously so they are not generating a good amount of tax revenue as well.

It's a very uncommon time my friend. I am sure, our generation will remember 2020 for the rest of their life!
3784  Local / India / Re: Indian crypto exchanges see 10x volume during lock down on: May 10, 2020, 04:40:55 PM
At least some positive thing to hear during this lock down and utterly frustrating situations.
The halving is approaching and the exchanges have opened after the supreme court order and with literally nothing else to do people will start exploring new opportunities and i am sure it has a correlation with the price of BTCitcoin having a sudden increase in valuation over 20% in the past weeks, so it is a combination of things and once the rally starts i am expecting the volume to continue moving up.

Unfortunately the rally didn't continue and bitcoin is now down by 22% from the peak it had reached after a long time. But it is really great to see that Indians a re taking bitcoins seriously and pouring their money into it. That's really a positive sign after all the fights we had with the banking system. The halving indeed helped to generate mass interest among the mass. Just see the below search term in Google Trends,

https://trends.google.com/trends/explore?date=today%201-m&geo=IN&q=bitcoin%20halving

Hope it continues the same way!
3785  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: ₿ Bitcoin Halving Attracts World Attention on: May 10, 2020, 03:27:16 PM
Bitcoin halving is definitely an awaited event for long term holders. Because if you look at the history of bitcoin, you will see that the price has increased exponentially after each halving. So far we have seen two halving events and the upcoming one is the third one we are going to witness. The below picture illustrates the previous two halvings very well,

So it is no surprise that the interest around this halving is increasing among the mass which is directly reflecting in the google trends report.

Is it time to stop pushing this "everything will blow over by summer" narrative yet?

Trump's tone has changed quite a bit. Now the message is "more people are definitely going to die, but the economy is more important." That tells me the underlying economic situation is pretty dire.

I don't believe reopening is going to bring a miraculous economic recovery. Surveys show a strong majority are in favor of the shutdowns and are more concerned about the epidemic than the economy. That (combined with high unemployment) probably means we can expect very weak consumer spending going forward. The Trump administration is in for a rude awakening when that becomes more obvious.

Surveys will definitely show that people are in favor of lockdown in US. Because, unlike any other countries, US citizens are getting a monthly help of $1200 every month. So, their basic needs a definitely being taken care by the government. So they are not feeling that pinch to survive. Even though US government is printing money to cover that expense, still the citizens are in good shape financially. Now that the basic needs are taken care, economy is the area of priority for Trump.

Reopening may not solve the issue overnight, but that's the best bet that Trump has in his kitty. Unless and until people spend their money, the economy is not going to take a U-turn. Majority of the countries are facing similar issues and re-opening may solve this unemployment issue to some extent. Full-fledged impact can only be seen once the situation normalizes but it is very unlikely for another 2-3 months.

3787  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if every miner but 1 CPU stopped mining for 4 weeks? on: May 07, 2020, 03:51:34 PM
Although it is unrealistic I was curious what would happen to bitcoins mining algorithm and hash rate.

I see a lot of fellow community members have given technically correct replies. Let me emphasize on the real world scenario. Because It will create an ultimate chaos in crypto market. Below are the possibilities,

1. No block will be mined - it means no transactions will get confirmation from network which will create congestion and increase the transaction fees to an unrealistically high level.

2. Dire consequences on price - bitcoin will be termed as useless because no one would be able to use it. It will result in a huge price crash which may bring down the price to 2 digit level.

3. The halving will be delayed for an unreasonably long time because the halving happens after every 210,000 block. Since no blocks will be mined, the halving will be posponed indefinitely.

In a nutshell, it will create utter chaos in the crypto market.

3789  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I would like the confirmation of more expert people on what Bitcoin is on: May 07, 2020, 12:03:54 PM
Hello all Smiley
In my research and understanding of what Bitcoin is I struggled a lot as google keeps showing results that tell me too complicated things that talk in a jargon that I don't know/understand.
I seem to have found a website that looks very simple and I would like to know if what they write is true or it is just another scammy websites...
I don't know who else I can ask, so I am posting here hoping to see if you can confirm whether I found on this page is correct or not.
The guy seems legit to me as I follow him on YouTube and has some good advises, but yet, I don't  trust much what I find online talking about Bitcoin because I often feel that all the information ranking is just the same stuff reworded... I find this article completely different, but I have no clue Cheesy
Thanks in advance Smiley

This article seems to have spoken about a lot things along with bitcoin like inflation and demonetization. It has also talked about the decentralized ledger system and other stuffs which is "good to know". I have just glanced through the article and didn't find anything objectionable.

Is there anything particular you want to know?
3790  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Google to Shadowban Crypto - Bitcoin will get Hampered? on: May 07, 2020, 06:55:10 AM
I am not sure if Google wants to ride against the tide and wants to shadow-ban crypto related content! But if this has happened, that may have dire consequences on crypto market. While everyone is sitting at home due to the current situation, the interest about bitcoin and cryptos are increasing exponentially. I recently read an article which says that Indian cryptocurrency exchanges are seeing 10x surge in trading volume during the lock down period.

News reference: https://news.bitcoin.com/indian-crypto-boom/

Also we have seen surge in pricing as well during this time period. These are indicators which shows that interest about bitcoin is increasing among the mass. All online media websites have a habit of sensitizing news reports to get more hits. The one you referenced, seems like a classic example!
3791  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Wonder how much is the $1200 stimulus package worth now if invested on BTC? on: May 07, 2020, 05:38:59 AM
Lol! Let's just hope these people don't get tax notice for investing the support money to bitcoin! The stimulus package was intended to support the livelihood of US citizens and to increase market demand. Investing in bitcoin is going to solve the purpose. Let's just hope US Government does not retaliate on that!

But if the people are ok and have food, don't they have the right to use their money for the kind of investment they want to ? I think they do.  Grin
If the US government doesn't allow for bitcoin use or investment, then it can go after citizens who have invested in it but it is a right to if it is not outlawed.

Then they shouldn't have taken the help from government at the first place. The sole intention of providing such money is to help their citizens deal with the current time and to increase the market demand. But if someone is really well-to-do then they shouldn't have taken such monetary help from the government. You can read the below article,

https://cryptopotato.com/coinbase-sees-1200-deposits-peak-following-first-us-stimulus-package-distribution/

I am sure FED probably had not explicitly prohibited investment of this help but they can always come up with new rules and gives retrospective effect if they think their money is being misused.

3793  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: You may start CRYPTO trading (literally free) by writing posts on a forex forum. on: May 06, 2020, 03:39:48 PM
Thanks a lot for sharing this information. I see the cryptocurrency section of the forum is very much new and not a lot of posts are available. So it is indeed an opportunity for newbie online money makers to start trading and earning.

InstaForex is a old and reputed forex broker. It is really great to see that an old forex broker is taking interest in crypto trading. Definitely a positive for regular traders as it only expands their choice.

But full KYC is probably going to ruin this promotion for Instaforex.
3794  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is IEO not becoming to be worst than ICO, any future for bounty hunters? on: May 06, 2020, 02:18:23 PM
Those who blame bounty hunters for the dumping and prize crash - they probably don't know much about bounties. Usually 3% - 5% of total coin supply is distributed to bounty hunters. If dumping of that minuscule amount of tokens drags down the price of the token and never comes back to track, then you have to understand that this is the fate of the token.

Just one pro tip- don't invest in any IEOs for a long term. Just invest and get out as soon as the trading commences. You will usually see profit.

3796  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will change in bitcoin If permitted by Sataoshi Nakamoto? on: May 06, 2020, 11:48:33 AM
I understand it's a fun thread. But there are certain things I think, that will make bitcoin even better.

1. Fixed transaction fees - the current transaction fees is really dynamic and depends on a lot of factors. That's why whenever we see higher colume of transactions, the fees also goes higher. We have faced in back in late 2017. So if a fixed fees mechanism can be derived, that will be great and probably encourage a lot of merchants to adopt bitcoin as a payment method.

2. Increase the halving time by at least 8 years - we all know that bitcoin mining is a very costly affair nowadays. A person investing heavily on mining equipments, needs to see profit to continue operations. Increasing halving time will immensely benefit the miners who are mainly the backbone of the network. The current mining ROI is not enough to sustain an operation for a long time. Increasing halving time may help the miners.

Otherwise all are good at this moment!

1. Would this block be worth any more than other blocks?
Virgin blocks may be worth more to certain people and could this BTC have any premium ?

I don't think so unless some people want to keep it as a collector's item or if someone is willing to pay more for virgin bitcoin. Otherwise it's not really a big value addition as such. I am sure the miner will be very cautious before selling bitcoins after the reward reduces. Because the mining business is very price sensitive and there is a chance of many miners going out of the business post halving.
3798  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: John McAfee says he received call from Satoshi Nakamoto asking not to be reveal on: May 06, 2020, 06:15:36 AM
Really? again? He is saying that is about to reveal who Satoshi is, DÉJÀ VU, I've saw this so many times.
John McAfee said he not only knows who Satoshi Nakamoto is but he received a call from the creator of Bitcoin asking that his name not be revealed for fear of complications with the government and his personal safety.

Source:

We must not take it seriously. I mean, if you follow him in Twitter and see his tweets, you will understand the reason for not taking him seriously. Just yesterday, he spoke about cannibalism and how he enjoyed eating human.

I have a reason to believe he is a drug addict and majority of the tweets he does under influence. Let's take his tweets as a fun, nothing to be serious about!
3799  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the Faith of cryptocurrency after this pandemic period. on: May 05, 2020, 07:27:53 PM
The novel covid-19 crisis has created a massive awareness in cryptocurrency that thrends, social media sites confirmed that cryptocurrency is one of the most discussed topics on the platform. do you think that this awareness that cryptocurrency deserved has finally arrived or is their more to offer for people to consider cryptocurrency as a means of long term investment.

It's true that bitcoin or crypto in general, is getting better visibility during this time. But people are still investing in traditional assets because the uncertainty is higher than ever. It may be uncertainty about income flow or job stability or whatever it is, bitcoin has not seen significant increase in adoption. On the other hand, gold investment has increased to a solid level because it is still considered as a safe heaven.

Also, I don't think cryptos are getting the kind of attention they deserve yet. Probably people have more time in hand so they are just researching about it to know about the market in a better way, while the adoption is still not increased. However, there is no official data to prove the same but I believe cryptos deserve much more attention than what they are getting now!
3800  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin legitimacy may be improved by the hackers who are moving to Monero on: May 05, 2020, 05:46:48 PM
Human beings demand freedom, and you can't have freedom without privacy.

Therefore, currencies like Monero will replace the antiquated Model-T's like Bitcoin that are little more than 'payment tracking systems'.

So you support the hackers who are siphoning out millions of dollars from the pocket of legitimate owners to their own pockets and hiding behind the wonderful privacy feature of cryptocurrency? Human will definitely demand freedom but to what extent? And at what cost?

The cryptocurrency is just 11 years old and can you count the number of frauds it has been associated with? Can you count the billions of dollars were associated with such frauds. All these are happening because a computer algorithm is providing "privacy and freedom" to such scammers!

Bitcoin will never grow if the reputation is not taken care now. Mark my words!
