3781  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Curacao license scam on: April 21, 2021, 02:18:30 AM
Ok one, Curacao license does not guarantee that it's a safe site. Curacao basically just asks for money and some initial requirements (src: https://www.gamblingsites.org/laws/curacao/) so it's a lot easier to register compared to others. Two, Whatever the site said, afaik, those are Master licenses. Now if you don't know what a Master license is, under their explanation, it basically means that it's a license that can provide sub-licenses to other businesses that would prove them legal. The only difference between the two is that sub licenses can't provide another sub-license to others, while master licenses can. I reckon those are all under said Master license, instead of being the same license.

Lastly, and probably shouldn't be really considered when judging casinos, is that the article was made by Game-protect. Probably shouldn't be used to judge the casinos posted, but there are some reputable ones out there and as I said, Curacao license is quite easy to get compared to others, so there may be a few black sheeps there.
3782  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Who’s more powerful? The players, Fans or Clubs on: April 21, 2021, 01:48:54 AM
Aren't they basically equal? Like there's an equilibrium that mas be maintained between the three ALWAYS. A club exists because of players, fans exist because of their players, and players group up due to clubs. Players earn profit for playing for the club, the club earns profit for advertising the players to its fans, and fans enjoy watching the players. Without one of these three, it'd basically be non-existent. Without a club, players wouldn't even be able to group up, practice, and play in official games. Without players, what the hell is a club for? And without fans, there'd basically be zero profit for the clubs, even if we consider competitions, the bulk of profits from there come from the audience afaik.
3783  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: UNREALIZED PROFIT IS NOT YET YOUR OWN on: April 20, 2021, 10:52:46 AM
That's why you stop calculating for unrealized profits. In the first place, it's called unrealized since it's only a possibility, and possibilities run two sides, coming true or coming false. It also isn't involved only in trading, but also in starting up a plan to buy something. Never finalize anything until you actually have everything in place. Finalizing buying a coin when the funds used to buy it would come from selling another coin shouldn't be a final plan, but rather one that can adapt to changes.
3784  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Anybody to help me? on: April 20, 2021, 07:47:42 AM
I think most newbie traders are scared of such services is because they EXPECT guaranteed profit. It's like they expect that pros would always, ALWAYS earn money, and big ones to boot. Then they saw said services, try them out, reveal that they're bad, and that basically spreads to every other newbie trader, that services like that are fake and they don't give you guaranteed profit. Potential Investors aren't afraid of spending money imo, they're just afraid of spending money on nothing since it is their first time investing.

Let them do copy trading I suppose, like what mk4 said. It's still technically them doing the stuff, so i guess if they experience a loss they'd realize that trading isn't all profits and gains.
3785  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: You won today, but then you will lose often on: April 20, 2021, 04:24:28 AM
But with unlimited bankroll we can actually win if we follow a martingale strategy. I agree that there is a lot of luck involved in gambling, but also skill. The more experienced we are the better we adapt to our gambling outcomes. Managing emotions is key for success, which usually comes easier to us the longer we gamble. I still remember how devastated I felt during my first big blow ups. However now I know that the money can always be won again, its best to remain calm. As long as we don't lose borrowed money we will be fine.
A week late but oh well There's no skill involved in gambling. It's all about luck. Managing our emotions? Martingale strategies? Those are about handling your bankroll, your money, not about gambling. Gambling would always follow that 50/50 chance, no matter what. Odds may skew to lower your chances of winning (increased odds) but it would never increase your chances of winning.

Ever since my first win in a bet, I have been finding it hard to win again. It's very pathetic hoping and believing that am going to win again. It saddens my heart that I have spent much more money than what I have collected from my first win of bet.
How I wish I could let go of this stupid addiction to gambling. Am been bankrupt because of it (gambling)
Stop playing with odds stacked against you. Stop going for the big wins, but accumulate small ones. No one wins in a game that has the odds stacked against you, it's a minuscule chance and it probably wouldn't even be worth it risking the money you have. But hey, if you're in it to enjoy it's a whatever for me, but if you have that mentality that your saddened and depressed cause of the money you spent, stop betting big with high odds, and start betting slowly instead.
3786  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: I’ve been robbed by Binance ! Never again will I use them on: April 20, 2021, 02:26:01 AM
https://commodity.com/cryptocurrency/dogecoin/trading/ Here's a list. I won't guarantee the others, but Kraken is fine imo, Gemini I haven't personally used but afaik it's also good. There's also localtrading but i'm just gonna assume you want centralized exchange seeing as you've tried with both Binance and coinbase before (also an assumption).

Read the reason why Op hates Binance, hey, almost every exchange would have that problem if you don't really actively research about it, so I suggest that even with us recommending exchanges, DYOR. Same thing could still happen to you even if it isn't in Binance.
3787  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casinos: Internal notifications, message inbox vs Email. on: April 20, 2021, 01:58:32 AM
You mean that you want everything to your email? If you are too conscious about not missing out all of the above things then you should regularly check your casino inbox; I agree you must be playing in multiple places but you must prioritize your favorite and important houses so that you will be checking at least there alone regularly.

Because we cannot expect the gambling houses to send us email for each and every update; that will definitely ending up in spamming out our email. (Just yesterday I have  seen someone is complaining about binance for spamming out their inbox in trading discussion board; such people definitely may not have preferences like you).
And that's why an internal notification is needed. Email notifications are just general updates about what's happening in the site, including changes and major promos. Internal notifications, on the other hand, would include a lot more information and data with regards to free promotions, free rewards, etc.

I think a lot of casinos and gambling sites are self-confessed offenders to the fact that they don't actively update their users in any way shape or form that their terms of conditions have changed. A very big defining factor on how the users will enjoy their gambling and they do not exert even the slightest effort to at least email everyone that their conditions have changed. Just shows how the crypto gambling industry still has a lot of room to grow.
Well, it wouldn't be new, some crypto casinos literally started from just two, three people wanting to use crypto instead of fiat, and introduced it so as to innovate the system. Said people who are new wouldn't naturally be able to take into account everything since, again, it is their first time (though it isn't really a valid excuse imo).

3788  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BTC price VS gambling on: April 19, 2021, 11:21:58 AM
Some people are inspired to gamble because they know that a rally will come after a bitcoin price increase.
gamble using alts ? what if they loose their alts .
they wont have the chance to feel the rally but if they keep thier altcoins and use btc ,
the same event can happen when they loose thier btc
. the solution is they wont gamble but do hodl only or if they cant take limiting their selves they can divide their crypto for holding and gambling .
Man, it's not like you're going to use your entire bankroll for gambling. If your style is to gamble while hoping it actually increases due to rallies, then separate your expenses, properly manage your portfolio. Losing your alts? You lost it at that price, so it's going to stay at that price. No use in crying over spilled milk imo. Now if you're afraid of losing money due to missing a rally since you lost your funds in gambling, then don't bloody gamble in a crypto casino, look for a fiat-based one where it isn't affected by the crypto market. You're gambling and with crypto at that, price changes is a NATURAL thing at this point in time.

And if we were to pick of the two poisons, pick the one that involves less loses, in this case, altcoins since they offer cheaper fees compared to BTC.
3789  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: HOLDING VS TAKING PROFITS DURING BULL RUN on: April 19, 2021, 08:46:24 AM
Hodling is basically a strategy for those who don't really want to trade, who can't trade, or just want to hodl. It's a strategy that hopes in the long run, you'd still profit, and would most likely come true if you didn't invest during the bull run. It takes time, but not in a sense that it takes up YOUR time, unlike trading. Now dipping into profits every now and then while hodling is something that has the risk of you actually losing more than you could've actually gained supposedly. It has higher profits, but as you know, high rewards = high risk. Hodling is like a mix of high and low rewards, but it takes a VERY long time for it to be realized.
3790  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Lottery not honest on: April 19, 2021, 07:52:55 AM
Thanks for your feedback. My bet was made on auto bet, as shown in the image below. That's right, I was wanting to win 10 satoshis with more than 2k in my wallet, and the losing streak is that even though a higher number in HI I lost, the same happened the other way around, there was a sequence of losses, where I bet in HI , Hi came and I didn’t win the satochis to recover what was lost, counting on one more defeat, thus doubling my loss by this false negative.

~

The following images show that even winning, there was a loss in the bet, which saddens me, as how to believe my money in a bet that I think is honest, but has an AI algorithm to detect high winnings and make the user lose. I just think the site’s proposal is very good, good reputation and I just want to understand where I went wrong. In the images, which I do not know how to put them straight, only the link, show that the seed is true, but the number is false negative, making the bettor lose even if they win. I would like to understand, because I show above how I bet, contained in the first image.

there was a sequence of hits that were returned as a loss.
There wasn't a mistake, it IS a loss. You had your odds at 3.18, and to win, bet HI must be above 7013, and bet LO must be below 2987. From the image you gave, Highest value of a HI bet that was a loss was 6879. Clearly below the required 7013, so its a loss. As for LO, lowest was 3k something, which is above the required 2987. If you're odds were a clear 3.00, the bet with 6879 HI would've actually won it since it needs higher than 6833.

Clearly isn't a mistake in the system, it's just a natural result based on the odds you put out in the site. You can check the numbers needed at Manual bet, change the numbers around to see whether what numbers you actually need, then go to Auto bet and set it up the same way.

Also might want to move this to Gambling discussion maybe? Here's a guide if ever

3791  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you limit your gambling time? on: April 19, 2021, 06:23:07 AM
That is a very typical fallacy which I also observed in real life. People cross off numbers in roulette that just showed up believing that only because they just showed up, they can't show up again anytime soon.

Everyone with basic knowledge in statistics knows that if the 30 shows up this round, the probability that it shows up next round is the same as long as the events are considered to be independent.

Funny how they cross off these numbers while it makes no sense. Same with red and black whereas that is kind of a dependent event if you put your money on black and red shows up 15 times in a row. That probability is extremely low, but if it happens you are most likely broke.
Well, they are taking into account the past records, and basing off the possibilities of what they could based on those. It isn't necessarily wrong, but I think it was a misplaced notion, especially in gambling where all chances are reset to zero when a new game starts. Still, with that, they aren't able to find anything to base their bets upon, and betting solely based on luck at times isn't really what they want, so they instead base it on past numbers that showed up. It is still a valid statistic, just that it's in no way proof that the same number would pop up. They probably just use it solely for increasing their confidence levels with regards to their bet.
3792  Economy / Economics / Re: What is the purpose of (fiat pegged) Stablecoins? on: April 19, 2021, 04:35:00 AM
I suppose it's simply because we haven't (or can't) fully leave the influence of the need to use fiat. It's just THAT useful, especially in this world where the majority of the transactions are still heavily influenced by a centralized government. Not only that, as others (and you) have said, Stablecoins help in avoiding market fluctuations, which is very helpful for every trader out there. Not to mention that stable coins are probably the easiest method that the government or companies could use to create their own centralized digital currency.
3793  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have anyone tried to stop gamblers from losing while they keep on wagering. on: April 18, 2021, 11:01:59 AM
Yes, but I am afraid that we need to wait until he finishes the session, and if he finishes in the next hour with a big loss, I am worried that he can become mad, sad, or another negative feeling. Maybe at that time, we can let him alone and not disturb him but we need to watch out for him to make sure he does not do anything worse. That is what a real friend needs to do when he sees his friend is drops and still beside him no matter how his conditions. I am sure he will open his mind when he can calm down after losing that money.
Actually, the best option here would either take a snap of him gambling (and looking quite crazy) or let him take a peek at the amount he lost. Words aren't always enough to persuade someone, more so a person that's turned blind due to rage. It'd rather be helpful to actually present him with facts instead. I used to try talking it out with them, didn't really turn out THAT well, but it helped, albeit a little. That's why I tried turning into facts instead of encouraging words, no matter how damaging it may be.
3794  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: OH YEAH FRUSTATED TRADERS. on: April 18, 2021, 08:31:50 AM
People experience the FOMO if they wanted to expect or to gain something in the highest possible way. Greedy so to speak. It isn't necessarily bad, but there should be situations where you yourself should understand that you're overextending and that it's time to stop, or not even enter it entirely even. Opportunities aren't found with hard work imo, it's highly dependent on luck. Doesn't mean that you shouldn't work though, do something that would let you look for opportunities, and then grab hold of it. Just judge properly if that "opportunity" is actually a good or a bad one.
3795  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance.us market exchange just crashed!!! on: April 18, 2021, 07:29:04 AM
This ain't good when you are trading huge volumes of money from your pocket man.

In similar ways the WazirX get frozen many times but this is not good for the users. Whenever this happens you don't see the real time prices and your app do not synch up with the real time price from the server and thus you may loose lot of money if at the background the prices has gone up and down crazy.

Binance on the other hand grabbing billions of dollars in fees and they should increase their bandwith crazy high to tackle such problems.

This could be cause for major loss for someone with big trades on the line. It would cost nothing to exchanger since they still get their money no matter what.  Roll Eyes
I mean, no exchange would NOT ever crash. It'd crash sooner or later, plus, If you could think of increasing their server size to accommodate traffic, why wouldn't they? I'm pretty sure Binance has some extra servers up or something in case of traffic increase, just that it went above more than they expected. No server is absolutely future proof, at the very least, Binance is very active in informing if something happens. Sides, you can also set up stop losses to prevent huge losses in trading, instead of letting it sit there. That's probably the best option you have to avoid getting hit by a market dump/pump.
3796  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: An obvious rigging of Sports. on: April 18, 2021, 05:53:52 AM
Ok, that was such a huge disrespect for the game and for the viewers. I don't know how to play Basketball but I swear I'd put more effort than them at that point. They aren't even hiding it ngl, it's blatantly obvious. I mean, even a team that bloody played for 2,3 hours straight wouldn't be THAT bad. I'm just glad that the refs stopped the game midway, like holy even I as a viewer online would bloody stop watching, call it a day, and hope that it was just a dream.

Man, sports ethics have gone to be so low with some teams that it just feels so... odd? Out of place? Like idk, it lost that simple common sense value that we all hold. I'm pretty sure they themselves could realize how stupid they looked.
3797  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Transactions Fees x Gambling on: April 18, 2021, 04:41:32 AM
I just think, if you're a betting enthusiast, the best way to save money is to claim your payment right on their platform. You promote a platform by campaign, there's no reason for you to move money there to another platform, right? A lot of platforms that are paying participants on their campaign by credit money to the account, which is really good.
His campaign right now is playbetr, hosted by Hhampuz and afaik payments are sent to their Segwit BTC address. I'd reckon they wouldn't make a special case for OP to send the payment to his account, not to mention that he plays on FJ (or local ones), and not really on the campaign he's currently endorsing. I do agree though that campaigns sending payments to the accounts is helpful, had the chance to actually play quite a bit without having to deal with the pain in the ass fees.

https://ycharts.com/indicators/bitcoin_average_transaction_fee
https://ycharts.com/indicators/ethereum_average_transaction_fee

BTC= 27
ETH= 24

These are average fees and this is the best time on making use some Alts which does have much more cheaper fees
than these two.
Ha-Ha
Can't even take a look for a long time. It hurts, it really hurts damn.
Imagine you have a 50 USD worth of BTC salary a week in Telegram / Campaign, then you have to withdraw them out on your whatsoever wallet you are using for, damn, I can already make a lot of bets on slots @ FJ with that price.
On that note, BTC went up to 40 and ETH down to 18, I hardly doubt we'd still get a chance to see the fees go below 10 at this point when the average for it was way back in January.
3798  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casinos: Internal notifications, message inbox vs Email. on: April 17, 2021, 11:38:25 AM
It should be an option, but not a necessity. It's like those boxes you tick to agree on whether you want to receive promotional info about the casino you're currently registering on. Users should always be allowed to choose whether they allow casinos to email them or not. As for TOS changes, I highly doubt they wouldn't email users for something as important as that. They might even require users to re-register or just repartee that they still agree on the TOS that the site has.

I myself have had experiences with being emailed, though most of them are just promotional info and not really important stuff. Glad that I could read something else whenever I check my emails about some personal/work-related stuff though.
3799  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is the best Sport to bet on ? on: April 16, 2021, 02:52:07 PM
Does eSports count? What basis are we forming our opinions on anyway? How easy it is to profit or just based on interest? Imo, it highly depends on the teams that make up the scene, and how much you actually know about the sports. In my case, I'd take eSports then Basketball, both of which I know quite a bit of knowledge about mechanics and teams. I also like watching Football, but that's it, only watching. I don't really know much about the teams as well as the rules (the less known ones).
3800  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What Feature Do You Look for In Slot Games? on: April 16, 2021, 05:02:28 AM
Free spins and Type of game. There are WAY too many slot games out there, after all, so I want something that could let me differentiate it from others, a unique aspect to it so to speak. Though it's mostly just me looking for the graphics/layout, and not as much as concerning myself with the game dev (not that I have ever looked them up ofc). My 2nd would be free spins, cause why not? No one hates free spins anyway. Though chances are that the slots with free spins give you way fewer chances of winning, but hey, I'm in it to play as much, not to win as much. As long as I have fun, it doesn't really matter to me.
