3781  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin and not Paying Taxes on: January 08, 2018, 05:09:39 PM
I ran across this video a while ago on what can happen to you if you don't pay your taxes.  At some point during your Bitcoin career, the cryptocoin will be converted to fiat and that's how they will catch you.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hf2fNEUPjQw

I think that will be depending on the country you are in. I've been converting or selling of my bitcoin but the fiat that I am getting is still the same. I am not also taxed by the government, if there will be some additional deduction, I think that will be the fee of the exchange since they will just be adding the tax of that certain exchange and the tendency of that is to increase the fee of the converting of btc to fiat.
3782  Economy / Economics / Re: Will there ever be a Bitcoin Bank on: January 08, 2018, 04:41:18 PM
The bank can not successfully work with such high volatility of bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. It is impossible to work with loans and deposits at such fluctuations in value.

Banks will be banks, and I don't think that the volatility of bitcoin and other crypto currencies or digital currencies will affect this banks, if it was implemented since their only job is to be a place where people save their bitcoin and other crypto currencies, they are not exchanges that will be converting your bitcoin into digital currencies, and I think if they are converting, I think they can accept that fact since it will really happen when you are an exchange of a digital currency.
3783  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do We Need Social Media Promotion on: January 08, 2018, 04:18:23 PM
Still bitcoin needs to capture a huge market and social media is the best way to do marketing because today's youth is very much available in social media and bitcoin can promote their ads in social media.

I think bitcoin has already a huge price and I think that is enough but the I know that a lot of people still do not know what is bitcoin and even how to use one and I think even simple and small advertisements of bitcoin into some big social media pages can do the job. It is great to advertise bitcoin but to do this, we need someone to pay for it, which I think is the problem.
3784  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin or Altcoin on: January 08, 2018, 03:15:06 PM
better to halt in btc, halt in altcoin
the price of altcoin always jump up quick

Most of the time last year, bitcoin is having the great time increasing the price especially the bitcoin holders and users, but these days Ethereum is getting it's surge up and I do not know why is that. I am thinking that other digital currencies will eventually pump but I've never thought that it will come this early. If I just known this quickly, I would've just sold my tokens earlier.
3785  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: is it risky to turn all my money to bitcoins? on: January 08, 2018, 01:04:45 PM
If you don't risk, you won't have a chance to be better than others, so yes my recommendation is to to risk everything !

But even bitcoin is having a pump now and then, I think you don't need to immediately turn all your money into bitcoin. You can always monitor the price first so you can know when to turn your bitcoin with less risk. Well waiting for the low price of bitcoin in that time is the right move but who knows how low it will go since it is unpredictable. Better set a goal in buying them just like on selling them.
3786  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin vs. Gold Prices on: January 08, 2018, 12:32:29 PM
Now bitcoin prices far past the price of gold. No wonder some people start switching to bitcoin investments. But the legality problem of the government is still a major problem, especially for businessmen or big companies who will invest in bitcoin.

I don't think that that will be problem since there is a lot of exchanges that can quickly change or let you sell your bitcoin into fiat or commonly USD. I think the most common problem that big business mans think in investing on bitcoin is that the idea of it being a bubble. We do not know that for sure but they are thinking that bitcoin really is a high risk investment.
3787  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Is Now Climbing Back Again !! on: January 08, 2018, 11:29:00 AM
It's pretty nice to hear after its recent downturns the price went up in general the picture is pleasant

Still we do not know when will this pump stop since every body knows that bitcoin is volatile, it can still change and make a dump after some time. I am not saying that it will do eventually but we all know that bitcoin moves unpredictably. Let us just enjoy the pump and continue what we are doing, it can still pump this first month of the year to new ATH.

3789  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What impresses you the most about Bitcoin? on: January 08, 2018, 10:51:24 AM
Bitcoin has been impressive in a lot of ways since it's beginning but the one thing that blew me out the most was the ideology. A foolproof peer to peer online transaction system based on blockchain technology was just a beautiful set of works executed and implemented by Satoshi and no wonder it has already made its mark in every field it is being used in.
It's going to reshape the world I am sure and of course, it's gonna make some of us millionaires. Can't wait for that to happen! Smiley

Well it did make a lot of people millionaire, we just don't know who they were since bitcoin is a bit anonymous but the "reshape the world" thing, I don't think so since bitcoin did not really "reshape" the world but it did make some impact in the trading industry. And it really impresses me that even though bitcoin has still it's flaws, there are still a lot of people who keeps on using and supporting it.
3790  Economy / Speculation / Re: Holding will be a risk or not?? on: January 08, 2018, 01:10:13 AM
no holding the bitcoin is not a risk

And why is that? Any explanation here? Holding bitcoin, obviously and definitely is a risk. We all know that bitcoin and every other digital currencies are volatile, that means it does not stay in a one price the whole month but it changes quickly. Holding it means that you are risking your profit to go down, or to have a increase though you do not know that since you do not know when and how will it move.
3791  Economy / Economics / Re: Cashless society on: January 07, 2018, 03:15:43 PM
I think this is a sad thing. The current economic gap between countries is very high, in developed countries ordinary people spend $ 1000 per day while in developing countries people spend no more than $ 10 per day.

But even if it is a "developed country" or the first world country doesn't mean that there are no poor people there and not all of these ordinary people really spend $1000 per day which I think is an exaggeration. I am living in a third world country and I don't mind doing so, I don't really dream to live in a first world country I just want to follow a simple life and live my life.

I think this gap will not be a problem since card will be the first one to be used and not digital currencies. Digital currencies has a lot of improvements or developments to be done and I think it will still take a lot of years.
3792  Economy / Economics / Re: Is this the end for bitcoins ? on: January 07, 2018, 02:00:51 PM
Very recently I read an article , which assumed bitcoins to be exactly like the Dutch tulip mania , the Mississippi bubble and the south sea bubble.

The author of that article (which was published in the economic times ) said it's now time to move away from bitcoins , the market has ended and the sooner you forfeit the lesser will be your loss.

What do you guys think about it ?

That article is not true.bitcoin is not end soon or sooner if many people and investors are support this kind of crypto currency.and I think its fake news to get panic some other people that no trust in bitcoin.

Bitcoin is based on the law of demand and supply, we do not know when will it stop or end but we all know that it is impossible because it has a lot of users and supporters. There are also a lot of whales that can manipulate the price and I think they will not just throw it down, they will be also holding it for a long period of time.
3793  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why bitcoin is not supported in some countries? on: January 07, 2018, 01:29:44 PM
I guess those countries that doesn't want to be open minded about innovation is a country that can't foresee the future. I think Bitcoin would really unlock potential when applied everywhere. They are scared of people abusing it but it can't be abused in some cases, just how they are spent I guess.

It is not that they do not want to be open minded, they are just being cautious to what bitcoin can make in their current economy. We all know that bitcoin is so volatile so the more the people who might hold it and depends on it, goes down when the price also surge and might affect the economy of that country. Still they are just being cautious not closed-minded.
3794  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why you should focus more on saving bitcoins than selling your bitcoins on: January 07, 2018, 12:49:34 PM
Bitcoin is going much higher in the next few years, so selling isn't really what I have in mind right now.  Just accumulate more.

A lot of other bitcoin users are still holding since they are hoping that it will be surging up this year but this week even last week of the year 2017, Ethereum is the one surging up and not BTC, I wonder what is happening with bitcoin but I think we must really watch and be active to the price movement so we can have a good profit in the future.
3795  Economy / Economics / Re: Why people scam on: January 07, 2018, 06:32:13 AM
People that make or made scam, are people want to get easy money even they hurt the feelings of other's.

They do not care what they do and what it can affect other people, all they know is that they will be getting a good profit in that process which is fooling other people so they can have their money. Fooling other people to earn money is not a job, it is a crime that can make you and other lives miserable and worst.
3796  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you see alts have chances against Bitcoins? on: January 07, 2018, 05:21:24 AM
Bitcoin is the first digital currency, I can see some possibilities that it can be taken down by another digital currency still, bitcoin will be the first one and I think Altcoins has chances against bitcoin, well it is an alternative coin to bitcoin. Altcoin is better than bitcoin, but they can't defeat bitcoin in other terms especially bitcoin being the original and in terms of course of price.
3797  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin to be international currency on: January 07, 2018, 04:23:48 AM
Hi, how are you?, I have to say that it is already a reality, in Latin America it has had a relatively good acceptance.

Well there are some countries that accepted or legalize bitcoin but I think that is far from being an international currency. I mean it is pretty volatile, it is not stable to be an international currency. I think it is just widely accepted on that place but I don't think that it is an international currency the same in Japan which it is just accepted on the country.
3798  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you surprise by bitcoin price now? on: January 07, 2018, 03:14:01 AM
at the current time, according to the schedule, he should become $ 20,000 by the end of January afterward.
 Cool

Schedule? Well that is more like a prediction than a schedule. Bitcoin is so volatile so no one knows when it will be dipping or pumping but the good thing is, it is starting to pump. Last week the price of bitcoin is at $13K and just going back and fort at $14K but now it is at $16.6K which I think is great since it is starting again to pump and might go back to it's ATH at $20K.
3799  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is bitcoin the most popular cryptocurrency? on: January 06, 2018, 05:29:25 PM
foe me bitcoin is very popular because there's a lot of investors who invest in bitcoin and also many people believing in bitcoin

And why do you think there are a lot of investors and people who are believing in such a digital currency? Because it is expensive and gave a lot of people profit. Bitcoin is popular since it is the first digital currency that came up with a low price into an expensive price and gave a lot of bitcoin holders a huge profit since the first time they had bought it.
3800  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Difference between Bitcoin and real money? on: January 06, 2018, 04:07:49 PM
I think the difference of bitcoin and real money is that bitcoin is a business and a job and it is where we ca earn money which is the real money.

I think you are just saying that since you are earning some good number through bitcoin, but we all know that bitcoin is not a business nor a job but it is the first and most expensive digital currency that is successfully made. I think what I like in bitcoin is it's anonymity, even though it is not that anonymous you may still have a hard time knowing whom address it is unlike on fiats.
