Though a hypothesis that the collapse of the Chinese Plustoken, a classic Ponzi scheme similar to bitconnect or countless others affected the price of Bitcoin, this seem to be accceptible although it's unlikely to be the major factor but distribution of stolen funds correlate very well with market downturns.
Bitcoin is not a ponzie scheme like Bitconnect that people needs to convince you this is a good investment, or implies the promise of future returns. Bitcoin promises no such thing. In a pyramid scheme new investment is paid to previous investors. If investment stops in a pyramid scheme the entire thing collapses to zero. BTC acts just like a stock, If investment stops in BTC it's value simply stops rising, if people sell, it goes down. Thereby it cannot become a pyramid scheme technically, but it can become like a crappy stock. Bitcoin is a store of value if nothing we have to put on, it is simply dying. However, it isn't the way it looks like cause many people are still in trusting Bitcoin and store their money on it as a currency instead of the future use. And if we think that this is just a pyramid scheme or any scamming issue, supposedly it never takes 10 years to exist but rather to see it collapse long time ago. |

I strongly suggest reading a book  There is a shitload infos in the internet and they are almost all just quotes from a few books from 20-30 years ago. Google and read a little about known traders and their publications and learn from there. Internetz can be misleading sometimes and 'pro' tips from blogs are great example. Yes, they are and if we could read their reviews, not to think about being paid reviews but most likely it was. The reason for this is that they are selling their site and so traders will also be attracted but in reality...it usually far from what they experience. That is why I don't mostly believe those reviews that all of them are a positive cause most of it is a lie. Knowing about basic trading, it gonna be enough, only we need to elevate for sometimes to see its effectivity in the future. |

We have just crossed the 10 years of Bitcoin and you consider it not as good as the years before? Bitcoin is still in its infancy with that 10 years. We have yet to conquer the world. Bitcoin still has a lot to accomplish in the next years. If I were you, I would consider buying Bitcoin while the rest of the world has to join the market. We are still considered early adopters right now. Don't get too greedy as to want instant wealth out of it.
OP is already a part of crypto and I don't think that he never knows what really we are promoting and he probably knows that Bitcoin is a good investment rather than to have a local investment. I do not like prediction after all, all of us are thinking what will happen to the price of the bitcoin after halving. I've read comments and posts where most of the people are believing that the price of bitcoin will go up and there are only some people says that there is no effect. I'm also do not have any idea what will happen to the price of the bitcoin after halving. I just focusing on the price action and not to sentiments of other people.

I don't mind investing in alts, but personally I prefer to invest only in top alts, now you shouldn't invest in small alts, because it's very likely to lose money.
Just look into altcoins that surely we can expect for returns, not because they are at the top but because they have the guts to improve and go beyond the known altcoins in the market. You are right, it is impossible for us to predict the prices of ETH in 2020 because the company should release the ETH 2.0 which will help the ETH coin to boost its price. We don't have any specific date about the development, so it is impossible for us to predict the prices of ETH. But somehow I'm not really optimistic about that change. I know we are disappointed with the current ETH price trend, in fact, some investors leave ETH for Bitcoin cause they'll find out that ETH never been hot and aren't growing. If ETH will show some big jumps next year, it probably more investors will consider back again. Not looking to have another ATH but just only it hopes to have some price improvements. |

Honestly, i have been do it. but i think its not terrible idea and no problem during not disturb your mainly work. ussually when do offline work it feel so bored, so better to fresh my feeling and trade help me to remove feel boring. beside i trade, i always do my job as well so its not problem with me and especially thing is i get double profit from that Yes, you have that point, unless it won't disrupt your time and doing your job well, it is gonna be fine. But my job is different from you, most of the time I've been in the look of the entire business operation which I don't have enough time to think about my trade. That is why after my bad experience before, I'd learn that it is the best time to trade when we are not at the workplace and we are comfortable doing this without any distraction around. |

all speculations are not 100% accurate, so sometimes people only speculate based on their logic, without even reading any information. some people involve relating to information, charts, and others related to a coin. even I also have my own speculations. because of that, after knowing someone's speculation, do your own research, whether it really suits what you think or not. Daytrading can be a pain in the ass but the long-term fundamental swings are rather easy to predict, especially with some fundamental analysis in the back of your head. Almost no one is a true trading expert when it comes to Bitcoin, but the time in the market helps a lot when trying to eliminate emotions from your asset. That is the real scenario. Crypto remains to be unpredictable cause if someone could see the future of Bitcoin have we think that he could show up here. Maybe not and of course, he could probably stay to anonymous and never tell others for he would surely taking advantage of it. We all are aware of bitcoin halving and most of the users are discussing about a possible bitcoin pump post halving which might or not not give pump to the value of altcoins. So do you think halving will provide openings for altcoins with a pump or altcoins will continue to be bearish in 2020?
Have to expect for the pump? Maybe we are and most of us here are being optimistic for the next year and that is why most of us are currently hold their coins. Halving could be some reason why, and it helps to encourage us to be strong and patiently wait for the bull to come. Though we can't think of another 2017 trend hopefully at least we could see it moving high a little bit. |
