3781  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Rollover betting challenge system by Lordhermes on: November 11, 2020, 07:39:45 AM
Odds do not change whether you put a strategy of over many days or all in one session. The probabilities do not remember any preceding event, so you might as well try this all in one sitting. This only ensures you last many days, instead of only 1 day;)

I mean,,, all strategies are fun but they only make a difference of time used up, not of probabilities:)
3782  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should i run Masternode? on: November 11, 2020, 07:07:33 AM
I do not know if masternodes these days give very good returns, except perhaps for managed MNs, simply because of the admin problem. I think these days people are more into staking on Defi,,, but with blockchains like ETH also turning to POS it may be useful to stake nodes. I see also a lot of new ones coming up with better utility value than the POS of the past. Always thought about it myself but so far,,, my experiments with POS failed:) Lots of new coins but all no value haha.
3783  Economy / Gambling / Re: Sportsbooks that aren’t paying out on Biden winning the US Presidential Election on: November 11, 2020, 05:57:56 AM
Yes, I think Stake has the best policy, paying out Biden now, and waiting for other happenings to pay out on Trump if he so wins any of the lawsuits etc. with recounts going on and final result only out in December.

I also took the small Trump bet on Sportsbet. But I have no issues with the rules, for me Biden won as well and even if somehow they overturn it and Trump wins it back I will not claim anything. It is like football for me. If results are suddenly overturned from matchfixing etc, I am not expecting money back:)
3784  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A gambler living in England makes a $5M bet on Trump on: November 10, 2020, 12:50:56 PM
Crazy to bet such a huge amount when you were not even sure Trump would win,,, and all the polls suggested otherwise. I mean, credit to the guy, he pulled off a huge upset in 2016 but it was impossible to hold on to his seat when all the liberals and millennials on Twitter and Reddit are fighting back. Bet he is going to have sleepless nights for many weeks.
3785  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin break its previous ATH record of 20K before end of 2020? on: November 10, 2020, 11:48:42 AM
If you realize history will repeat then it's enough for us to prepare for that moment, but if it's before the end of the year I'm personally not sure. I wonder if you have bought and hold bitcoin so far because the worry is no proper preparation to enter the bull market, so far very real changes have occurred even in times of crisis and difficulty due to the pandemic, so there is no doubt because however history will definitely repeat and of course with new higher records.

I just wish people would stop flooding Twitter and social media with all these bullish predictions, for some reason you know the market always seems to react best when there is zero good news or good sentiments.

On the other hand with all the silence in mempool for both ETH and BTC I suppose that is a good sign for us silent lurkers;)

Wish I was a good designer seeing these new contests,,, first the cake and now a poster. 12 million tokens right now is worth like $180 dollars, I do not think there is any bounty poster design that pays out that much! Good luck to everyone participating, please draw in more people so I can recover my broken investments Tongue
3787  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A project to help make Ethereum the number one cryptocurrency. on: November 10, 2020, 09:33:10 AM
Ethereum don't need help from a project to become the number one cryptocurrency today, right from day one Ethereum have been doing what it was meant to do, it's the king of all altcoins and smart contract Platforms, ethereum is too strong and that's why many new smart contract projects can't over thrown ethereum today.

It has not always done what it was supposed to do, though,,, in fact from early on already the DAO concept did not work out, causing the split. And the very reason it is going to ETH 2.0 is because the original model proved that world supercomputer does not work as a concept without staking and sharding. Still,,, it is going in a right direction that cannot be denied!

Nicely done way of giving back to the community for voting/betting on the biggest event in 4 years in the US! And well done to the guy who won $500 for his $3 bet,,, I wish I could be crazy enough to bet that kind of odds on sports;) And well done for handling those betting results like that Stunna,,, that is what you call fair:)
3789  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: HEX over 120x since launch, being gatekept on: November 10, 2020, 07:46:42 AM
^ I commented neutrally here. I don't really like HEX but also don't hate HEX, I am surprised by the many negative comments about HEX. some say HEX is a ponzi scheme and others. I think it will take the next few months to see if HEX is scamming or not.

Well to be fair,,, it does have a big ponzi element, does it not? Because money is paid out from what ETH is put into it. Strange to see that average stake is 4.5 years though,,, but that seems easy to do as well when a lot of the initial tokens were given out free to BTC holders right?

Big payday dump I guess?
3790  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀 Sportsbet.io - Official betting partner of ARSENAL FC 🚀 on: November 10, 2020, 07:06:13 AM
Add me to that roll of Multi Magic, I am taking it every time now along with Multi Master promos, so hard to say no to good odds and great times;)

Nations League wow, so hard to predict, the favorites do not always perform and the team make ups change so much from game to game, this will be the toughest one I bet.
3791  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Mempool is clean after 2 weeks on: November 10, 2020, 05:51:15 AM
So a 1 sat/byte tx sent 2 weeks ago would have cleared now? That's not TOO bad if this is the worst mempool can be these days;) Disappointing;)

Anyway,,, I suppose this is a bit unfortunate I was forced to do an urgent transaction in that period,,, even though I "only" had to pay 52 sat/byte to get reasonable waiting times. That was probably the most I have paid in over 2 years. Not counting when I have to use Bitpay of course,,,
3792  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: November 09, 2020, 02:15:27 PM
I wonder who the other targets are besides Rice..  And it's pretty surprising how Lampard is getting this much support from Chelski's board.  This could mean Abramovich is going at it one last time and try to win the CL and EPL next season then sell the club.  I think...  Dunno.

I think I remember reading somewhere that Abramovich anyway is unable to move out some of his investments, so even if he sells Chelsea now, he would not be able to recoup a lot of money,,, and it is seen as a legit investment so I think guys like him need to have "good karma" on their oil money;)
3793  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: bitcoin and altcoins bull run every 4years. how many years already? 🐂🐃🦈 on: November 09, 2020, 12:53:17 PM
next year 2021, I'm not just bullshit but I can't prove it clearly here either. In the next year, Bitcoin will run a bull run and will definitely create new highs. prepare yourself and immediately invest there.

I would recommend taking a lot of salt with any comments and predictions in this forum. You learn after many years that whatever happens in the market will happen,,, regardless of how many experts weigh in on their opinions. We all believe a bull run is coming but even if we are right, we can hardly say when exactly this happens, or if it happens in the same way as before!
3794  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: November 09, 2020, 12:07:30 PM
i'm totally fine with the win  Cheesy I backed Spurs (even though they're a toss-up almost every week) in a single bet [asian handicap -1 at 1.78 odds], and good thing Kane scored, means i got my stake back, stake that i will probably not place on any Spurs bet slips until next year lol

didn't watch City - Liverpool, but from what i'm reading on social media, 2nd half was kind of a borefest? i guess both squads are pretty tired right now, you usually expect high intensity from both teams :/

Arsenal - A Villa...i predicted a 3-0 Gunners win in the btctalk pool...huge chance for arsenal to jump to the top 6, leggo Gunners!

I have to agree here and of course as a Spurs fan,,, I am totally happy with the result. 3 points is always preferable to any type of game, I am sick of playing well and then losing points (I do not want to remember 3-3 results no matter how exciting).

London teams are really not doing well these few seasons I have to say.
3795  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin (LTC) Huge Pump is coming with New Update on: November 09, 2020, 10:54:55 AM
Previously also we had several pumps with Litecoin. But none of them lasted for more than a few weeks. If you want to invest in Litecoin, go ahead and invest. It is one of the better altcoins out there and there is a good chance that you will end up with sizeable profit in the long-term. But if you invest in this coin hoping for quick profits and pumps, then you may end up disappointed.

Litecoin is that funny coin that you wonder if will ever become the promise Charlie Lee said it would all the while but I know deep down he also wants to fulfil his promise (of making it ATH again) so I do not mind holding my Litecoins, even add a bit every now and then. These days, you see many alts die but this one always proves itself as silver of BTC. It is coming,,, just when is the question.
3796  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Did anyone try to "gamble" with ponzi scheme crypto scam services? on: November 09, 2020, 10:12:06 AM
Guilty here. But this was at the end of 2010, and not even using Bitcoin (I did not know about it yet). Locally we have many types of ponzi scam games and when I first got it,,, it was from my friends who shared looking similar to MLM and done just with other types of digital money (paypal for example). I was not aware of hyip being around for years at the time. Learnt my lessons,,, never again.
3797  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: bitcoin and altcoins bull run every 4years. how many years already? 🐂🐃🦈 on: November 09, 2020, 08:06:50 AM
There is this fine line that I am worried about that I am not sure what will happen. We are at a place where we are doing very well right now and I believe we will continue to do well for a while as well, however I do not have a magic ball that shows me the future so I am not sure if this will continue until end of the year, we are still almost 2 months away from that so I am not entirely sure what is going to happen.

Obviously speaking we had 2017 where we looked like we were ending the year awesome but by the time 1st of January 2018 came along we already started to fall, it was still high but it was going down and it kept going down afterwards. So my question is, will we continue to grow well into 2021? Or did we just had the increase and from now on that is the end of it?

For me,,, I prefer to wait for the markets to consolidate right now. During this rally we have seen millions in ETH being pulled out of Defi, I guess people wanted to take profit at $460 and who can blame them taking during ATH for 2020.

Rallying even more right now at this stage means finishing all the "bull fuel",,, I would rather we sit where we are for one more strong month and Bitcoin bottom at $15k by end of 2020.
3798  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: November 09, 2020, 06:40:16 AM
Congrats for the yellow cap yaty! I was there at the top before the two last games so I can say thank you very much to City and Arsenal for doing what they are expected to do (and what I did not think would happen hehe),,, and yes on VAR goal. If neither team is protesting can we just allow it please? Technology is frustrating supposed to help not harm.
3799  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If you are new to crypto this is for you on: November 09, 2020, 06:00:11 AM

Many are complaining about the last IEO launchpad on binance exchange because it only gives 2x to investors, how is this not a big profit? Why saying binance IEO is not as profitable as we think when the success of the IEOs depend on the project's use case itself? One project giving 2x doesn't mean all projects will start bringing 2x from now on, ROI varies

Lol only 2x is too poor a return? What has this world come to Buffett would give everyting to get 100% returns. But anyway Binance launchpad does NOT give 2x my friend,,, it has not given that for a long time, which is why it is so hugely disappointing. I would never complain about 2x, what are these people that you talking about thinking?
3800  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Clubs to avoid per league in betting on: November 07, 2020, 07:16:47 PM
I love my Spurs team but I think if you are not a supporter,,, I would say my own club is the one to avoid. We constantly get close to 1.5-1.9x against all the other teams in the league who are not in the big four, and we do not always win that.

But you can choose us against the big teams we are around 4x to win then you feel we can at least win 1 out of 4 at any time. Sorry Spurs but you know it is true:)
