I think this is a good advanced project but when doing research I found a lot of reports how QTUM founder stole money from BitBay. There is article on reddit, medium, bitcointalk. Not only this but a lot of bad practices behind this guy's (pump and dump,fake ICO, and so on). I think all this is holding this coin price so low. People learned their lesson and won't invest in projects which leaders have shady past. There are chat logs on medium from this guys when they prepare to pump a coin with thousands bitcoins. I'm all on-board the Qtum project, but that logic is the definition of ignorant. If Bernie Madoff opens a new investment firm, I don't think you'd be so eager to invest. The same principles apply here, if you actually believe what is being said (which I, of course, don't). Exactly. This has been hanging over the project for along time now. Articles like the one above will only continue to pop up as people learn more and more about qtum. All these bloggers will happen on this story and report on it in hopes that a juicy story will get them more steem dollars, or youtube views. That's why I feel the matter should be settled sometime in the near future to help the project proceed forward. If there is so much misinformation and fud out there, then whatever truth will be overtaken at some point. It's been a very long time since I saw it but a while back they publicly commented that while he was at Bitbay he did not participate in the scam but obviously how are you going to prove any of that besides he said / she said Someone posted a while ago that the Qtum team had addressed the issue on Slack, but I did not see the conversation. Another person mentioned that the Qtum team posted a statement on their website regarding the matter, but if it were ever there, it doesn't appear to be there now. I really wish that they were more willing to speak out about the situation because making people guess leads to some cynical explanations on the whole ordeal. I don't think I said they posted it to their web site. I'm pretty sure that I said he issued a statement when the alligations where first made, which did happen. The only reason it is a big deal because FUDDERS are making it a big deal. I could go the rest of my life without hearing another word of all this BS and be just fine. Don't you guys have anything better to talk about? I'm not making any accusations, I clearly said I think they're inaccurate. To not address them, and to pretend like they don't exist is a huge mistake if you want community trust in your project. The cryptocurrency subreddit, for example, views Qtum very badly (most users say that they think it's a scam). Again, I am completely on-board the Qtum project and the amazing work that the devs have done, but I just don't see a way that Western users get over Dai's previous work in BitBay if it's not properly addressed and explained. So far, all I can find through research is the word of David Zimbeck, which certainly is biased in his favor. Let's not act as if it would be as hard as developing a VM that is compatible with x86 as it is to give a brief summary of Dai's involvement in BitBay. It wouldn't be hard to clear the air here. They already addressed this a while back. It's just he said she said. QTUM said that while Patrick was at Bitbay he did not participate in the scam. It'll never die down and that Smith & Crown article is very old. People want to throw FUD because they want other projects to succeed. Every coin suffers from it. While researching on this project, I noticed a very peculiar thing. Whenever someone is posting accusations against Qtum team, it was almost immediately followed by a long post by someone from Qtum giving some update. As if they are trying to hide the discussion, it looks perfidious to say the least. Also the sudden rise in volume and price of this coin, when other good recent projects are faltering like status, bat or TenX, does leads to the conclusion that there is some foul play at work here. Meanwhile I will keep checking the progress and hope this coin does not dump soon. |

Wow! It looks like Cryptodao definitely isn't winning any popularity contests on this forum. There seems to be nearly unanimous agreement that Cryptodao is a bad choice for an exchange and will likely hurt the value of the coin. I hope the coin will instead soon be listed to a different exchange. At least something that the majority of posters on this thread can agree is a suitable alternative and will likely help the value of the coin during its first few months.  Cryptodao has no volume and is slow as hell. The coin will never recover after it's listed there. Even etherdelt is better, but only hosts ethereum based tokens. We can try cryptopia or even hitbtc is multiple times better than cryptodao. |

just for the info, bull run for bitcoin means bad news for alrs where investors switch alts to bitcoin. you need bear market for bitcoin so that altcoins will go bull. I am not talking about price but in terms of satoshis. some of you getting it wrongly.

Can I store them at MyEtherWallet and is it secure to store them there? You can store them on Myetherwallet.com but make sure you are on the right site and protect your private key very well, there are alots of fake myetherwallet.com site now on the internet Speaking of MEW - so if someone gets my pvt key I'm fucked? Why there is no additional password protect when accessing with pvt key like there is when accessing with json file? There's a reason it's called private key, it's private. It's upto you, how you protect your privacy, same way you have to keep your key safe. Or better get a Nano ledger. |

I have all my TaaS tokens in myetherwallet since I got them and didn't move at all. I saw dividends will be distributed among all holders but still I want to be sure that having MEW will I be able to receive the dividends ? Somewhere I saw taas.fund mentioned which confused me little bit. Anyone can confirm ?

I sent 3800 LBC ( 0.66955392 BTC worth @ 0.00017664 BTC price ) from My Poloniex Account to my Bittrex Account. I haven't received anything on my Bittrex Wallet yet. When I went to explorer.lbry.io to check for my transaction, wallet addresses nothing shows up!
My Poloniex withdrawal limit has decreased and it also shows that the transaction is complete.
Can anyone help me here?

Poloniex is not looking good from last few months. After the removal of trollbox, it seems like everything stopped, looks like they are reducing staff/laying off. It used to be ag ood exchange with new coins added/removed every few days. Now it looks like they are dragging themselves. I removed all of my coins from polo, will sit this one out for the time being.

At the moment poloneix has to be one of the worst exchanges, I wonder if funds there have been frozen by the feds because their performance as an exchange is very bad. Great volume and liquidity but I doubt their legitimacy, it is taking too long to get just a reply from them. DON'T leave your coins there.
Same sentiment. Something is wrong, they have not added any new coins in weeks. Last one was gnosis. They are unable to respond to service requests, trollbox is down for over a month. It's like an imminent shutdown is coming. |

Bubble already started bursting. Most of the ICO coins are not even listed on proper exchanges. If your ICO coin is not listed on atleast cryptopia/liqui or above volume exchanges, then most probably it will be a bust. Instead of waiting to be listed on bigger exchanges, you should dump your tokens and move on. I repeat don't be a bagholder.

let me tell you something about LRY guys,
it's a good project with good development,but if you're a trader you must do a simple task,
if you heard they're going to realeas Beta,Aplha or whatever they called it you must dump your coin h-1 from releasing date.
because many trader holding their coin and accumulating it last year for more than 6 months or so,
but don't worry if you're buying it in higher prices,because someday it will go there again even further
Some traders are still gonna dump. That can't be helped. But for us having faith in the project, it doesn't matter in the long run It's been already dumped from 37k and there is no room to go lower. Dump was based on cypto market dip. Traders buy rumors and sell news. This "rumor" is going to lead to higher prices, but once the "news" is confirmed and out, they'll sell for profit. Doesn't matter to us anyway, we believe in the long-term prospect of the project Dump happened because someone wanted it to happen, crypto market was down to 50-60%, this went down to almost 80%. Now they have filled their coffers, and waiting it to pump. Some whales realized that this coin is going to be in double digits sooner. |

Reading some comments on this thread had me like  . Many ICO can reached many fund but this is the biggest as I know, for speculation maybe $5-$10 first Hit in exchange and after 1-2 month can reach more than $20.
I don't think the price will make more than a 5x, the market cap is already too high. But it doesn't seems the most risky investment, because of people involved and the huge community. Maybe a lot of people will try to buy it when it will reach exchange because they weren't able to get a few coins at the ICO. Let's see It should be traded at least $10 after opening its market just by following the trend where every newly added token with huge funds went at least 2 time to 3 time in first hours. For me $10 is good price even it will be between $20-$50 in medium time range seeing its funds and potential can be predicted.
Coming to the point - At the time of writing, only 42.69k Eth was remaining Price floor, to buy back BNT. It started with 130k. At this rate, the price floor will be gone in next few more days, and what follows after that will be dump of epic proportions. Better to get out, when you're breaking even, than sell at loss. |

BTC is down only 33% from it's ATH, whereas ETH and XRP are down 55-60% from it's ATH. Other alt's are down 60-70% from their respective ATH's. BTC is the biggest gainer here. You should have hodl'ed your BTC. |
