381  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Stop calling Bitcoin ''stable'' it's not. on: November 19, 2018, 11:56:01 PM
None is crying for bitcoin to be stable. We all know that bitcoin is very volatile which is the reason why traders are happy with it. If it were stable like the usdt and its kinds, the interest in it would have reduced. There are many good things that it comes with when a coin is volatile.
382  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH @ 158 USD on: November 19, 2018, 11:52:06 PM
It wouldn't surprise me to see such a prise looking at the graphs of the major cryptocurrencies. Even ripple that got a better support is now falling below the resistance which means all cryptos are in danger. For now, any price that we will see should be normal. There are a lot of analysts that predicted such a price so I am not surprised.
383  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why many projects are dead on: November 19, 2018, 08:13:22 PM
Most of the project managers have abandoned their projects doing new projects because they think bringing new projects is more profitable than working on the already existing projects. There are countless ones out there who have left their projects and beginning a new one. I think it's about time we do our own due diligence and reporting new projects who have team members who already have conducted ICO before.
384  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: does ethereum end? on: November 19, 2018, 03:55:11 PM
This year has been a two side for crypto, both good and bad. Crypto was very good at the beginning of this year and later on, it turns to be the opposite way. Ethereum is no different from this. So let's be aware of this. We may see it as very bad and that eth is almost dead but we should give crypto a second chance by not destroying the image.
385  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: XRP - Ripple is back with a bang ! on: November 18, 2018, 10:15:53 PM
I have been much impressed with the performance it has shown during this bear market trend. I think it'll be a good idea to have some and be hopeful things don't change along the line again.
386  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BULL RUN! BULL RUN! BULL RUN! on: November 13, 2018, 10:59:28 PM
We shouldn't be just happy for a bull run because it isn't going to happen now. Desperately expecting it can really harm us so I think it'll better to stop thinking about it and do what must be done. We all are crypto enthusiasts and wouldn't want to happen in a bad way but let's not be over expecting a bull run. we have to learn to live with our cryptos no matter the price.
387  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will 90 percent of the coins die? on: November 13, 2018, 10:57:59 PM
I do foresee most coins dying before we can get a better place in crypto. The many coins existing just makes it harder for well-known institutions to accept crypto because they think these monies were made out of tin air which should not be so. If it were so, no country will have been poor or in debt on this earth. We would have just made more of our respective fiats when we are in short of money
388  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH better or BCH ? on: November 13, 2018, 10:21:41 PM
To this extent, I prefer to choose BCH over ETH for investment because it has a very high potential compared to that of ETH. Some of the comparable features are the total supply and also the accpetability of it in the crypto communities. BCH is better in all these areas.
389  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is there hope for this year? on: November 13, 2018, 04:12:29 PM
All my hopes for that huge price in crypto this year is gone and I do not expect any good price this year. Looking at things, it is possible to finish this year within the $6Ks. However, I will build up another hope for next year which we all believe will be a big boom for crypto.
390  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why would people want to adopt Bitcoin as a payment option? on: November 12, 2018, 11:58:36 PM
Bitcoin is the oldest of all the other cryptocurrencies and as such, the majority of people trust in bitcoin than any other coins that are evolving with ease, without any use and get to become a shitcoin in a year or two. Ever since bitcoin's creation, we all trust in it so everyone will want to use it.
391  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best competitors to Ethereum? on: November 12, 2018, 11:29:23 PM
I choose tron to be the best match for ethereum for their unexpected advancement in making one of the largest crypto community and the fast nature of their transactions compared ethereum's blockchain although it is also fast when one uses the best gwei(fees)
392  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is everyone so quiet? on: November 12, 2018, 11:21:35 PM
If you ever expected something big before, you would have known why it seems everyone is quiet. of course, we are waiting for that big boom day when we will all smile again. We ain't that quiet though, we are always waiting for something. The fact that we are quiet doesn't mean we are sad, it's like waiting for a penalty to be kicked, even if it's in your favour, you don't make noise but sit quietly until it scores but that doesn't mean those the penalty is in favour of are sad or something bad is happening to them.
393  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Too many ICOs on: November 12, 2018, 10:12:03 PM
I think there should be s9ne kind of regulations when it comes to the issuing of new coins(icos) to prevent all these things. Well,  Crypto was build to be decentralized but not all its features can be decentralized.  Bringing in a new coin shouldn't be something that should be decentralized because it gives rise to fake/scam coins but other aspects like transactions, exchanging and a few others can be decentralized
394  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Should ICOs be put to an end? on: November 11, 2018, 11:16:51 PM
It seems to me that there are new projects everyday in this Crypto industry. This has made me to think about the total number of fiat currencies in the world. I got to know that there are about 180 fiat currencies recognized by the UN.  CMC recognizes 2094 cryptocurrencies as at now.  Looking at the difference, do you think it'll help us to compete with fiats?
How does the numerous cryptocurrencies affect the growth of our Crypto industry.
Will putting an end to ICOS do something good in the crypto industry?
395  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which altcoins are going to change our lives? on: November 08, 2018, 12:13:18 AM
Ripple is set to be a big life changer with its current partnership programs with well-known financial institutions. Tron is also another altcoin which I perceive a bright future too. I will consider these two coins and keep an eye on them in the meantime.
396  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: AltCoin Newbie on: November 06, 2018, 09:29:08 PM
Hello Everyone, I'm very new to Altcoins, Cryptocurrencies In General. I'm Looking for someone's advice that has been around for a while to kind of give me some tips or pointers on how to spot legit coin's, what to look for before investing. Really just any guidance on a basic level would be greatly appreciated.

If you are looking for legit coins, then go to coinmarketcap.com and look for the first 100coins. They have the biggest market capitalization which is an indication of how people believe in the coin and using it.
397  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should invest on ripple or litecoin ? on: November 06, 2018, 09:10:22 PM
Ripple will be a good investment for me to choose if I were to choose between the two because it has been able to resist most of the sharp falls in the market. Comparing the two, ripple has a huge potential to get a 10x gain than that of ltc.
398  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin To Drop As Low As $1000 This Year on: November 05, 2018, 11:59:14 PM
That is impossible for me to the best of my knowledge. You may see bitcoin to drop to some extent but it may not drop to how you are predicting the price. The market, in general, has gone low so we may see the price of bitcoin as following the prediction but it come never go below to that $1000 mark.
399  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is Bill Gate against investing into bitcoin? on: November 05, 2018, 11:41:10 PM
Bitcoin existence is like a bubble to some rich persons like Bill Gate so they do not advise people to invest in it because they think they are helping them to prevent them from losing money when it bursts. He may be right totally in his efforts against bitcoin but it may also be the other way round.
400  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do lot of people hate bounty dumpers? on: November 05, 2018, 11:06:21 PM
I also hate it when bounty hunters are called bounty dumpers because it is those who participate in private sales and large bonus earners that dump their coins but later on calls bounty hunters as such. Well, I do not like dumpers because they really make the market look awkward.
