381  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [BOUNTY] ⚡ United Traders ⚡ Payments will be in BTC and UTT tokens ⚡ on: December 23, 2017, 04:32:22 PM
We will send payment in BTC every Saturday
Has anybody get his reward for the week 5th?
Maybe I'm blind to see a post where it was said that the reward for week 5&6 will be paid simultaneously on the next Monday?  Huh
382  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] United Traders: ⚡️ The High-End Solutions in Trading Technology ⚡️ on: December 23, 2017, 04:07:18 PM

Real price and Real profit will be gained by the people who are holding the coins for the long term. I see many people are looking for long-term investment because in crypto we can't make huge profits within the short period of time.
You kidding me?  Grin Tell it to them who bought Verge (XVG) for $0.069176 yestarday and sold it today for $0.237059 today getting 3.42x?
Is it small profit to you?  Wink

how many post should we do on 6th week? 20 during 2 days or maybe only 6- 7,  i. e. 2- 3 per day?
384  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which alt coin has the best tech? on: December 22, 2017, 08:40:36 AM
The best tech. I.e. Not shitcoin tokens (unless it's a special example where main net hasn't launched yet e.g. EOS).

Examples of other shitcoins:
IOTA (various attack vectors that aren't even properly addressed - e.g. double spends etc.)
etc.

Examples of good tech alt coins:
Qtum (first UTXO based smart contract implementation) - What Ethereum was originally meant to be and what Bitcoin tried to be many years ago.
Raiblocks
EOS

Are there any other really good coins in terms of tech?

What would you tell about Verge (XVG) coin? This coin was pumped very high in the last week. Their roadmap is here.
What is your opinion? Is it a real coin with fine tech or another one shitcoin only made for taking profit by their devs?
385  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I have 12 Bitcoin. What should I do??? on: December 22, 2017, 08:26:15 AM
I have 12 Bitcoins. I am not a whale. I started about 6 months ago with 0.01 Bitcoins and $1000. I turned it into 12 Bitcoins so far and am pretty proud to say the least.

My question is, what do I do now?

As far as I can see, I have 4 options;

1) Hold the Bitcoin

2) Invest in altcoins and leave a little in Bitcoin

3) Fund a project and start my own cryptocurrency that solves a problem that current currencies face (scalability, Tx fees etc.). With the funds, I would be able to assemble a team, start a marketing campaign, get listed on exchanges etc. I am also a programmer which helps.

4) Convert it to fiat (probably the dumbest idea)

Edit: I should also add, I dropped out of school and have all the time in the world so can fully commit to any idea. I will earn my living of cryptocurrencies.

A few people have asked how I made my money so, if you are interested, here is a short summary:

Initially, I put it all into Bitcoin during the massive FUD of the fork around June when Bitcoin dipped to $1,900. Then I put half my money into NEO before all of the hype at around $12 and cashed out at $40. Then I invested in a couple ICO's and turned a pretty good profit of off the hype. After that, I got back in on NEO as soon as China announced the regulations regarding ICO's and rode the wave back from around $20 to $40 (I can't quite remember). Then, I rode the hype of Ethereum Dark, eBitcoin and a few other airdrop scams. Finally, I got in on Wincoin before it got to coinmarketcap and turned a 20x profit.

What are you doing right now with all your cryptocurrencies? Did you take any decision? Still holding'em or have already sold all of your Ethereum-Bitcoins? Maybe exchanged to some more promising coin ot token? If yes and it's not a secret which one (2,3 or more) you choosed? Too many questions? If you answer the last one I'll be happY!!!  Cheesy

Smiley

388  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Alt coins worth buying on: December 21, 2017, 10:04:02 AM
Vergecoin (XVG) has rank #19 $0.014012 on December 14 and today it costs $0.153689. Almost 11x growth during one week!
Tron token (TRX) has rank #17. Its price was $0.002168 on the 7th December. Today it costs $0.063117. It made 29x during 14 days.
Why not to invest in'em?
389  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Without Ethereum Network, will all tokens be useless ? on: December 20, 2017, 07:48:09 AM
No, you're wrong 'cause developers of new coins before working out their new crypto money should decide which structure they will use in their token the new one och they are going to use a structure of the existing coin. So if there were no Ethereum the devs will establish their token on another base for example such as Waves.
390  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Small altcoins – large profits on: December 19, 2017, 12:52:49 PM
Hello, folks! Do you ever pay attention how cool and large can be your profits if you invest not into the top-10 alts, but to the smaller, less known altcoins? Status, Peercoin and Stellar Lumens jumped so high! And Cardano showed everybody its real force!
What do you mean using the word Small altcoin? Its price or its capitalization?
If you mean the first one so you can invest in coins from top-15 such as NEM, if you mean the second one i.e coins with low cap you could on your own risk to play with them buying low and selling high with help of crypto worlds news but don't use big money (for you personally).
391  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The reason why litecoin is growing on: December 19, 2017, 09:54:17 AM
I can suggest that nowadays Litecoin's price growth has 3 reason:
  • 1. technical lead over bitcoin
  • 2. fast confirmation time
  • 3. lower  price than BTC has
Not everyone who's investing in cryptocurrency would like to buy 0.01, 0.001, 0.0001 half of a coin. The most of us prefer the whole numbers such as 1, 2 ...100 etc
392  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: $12000 to invest in long term. Which coin? :D on: December 17, 2017, 07:39:57 PM
Which is a safe coin to invest in the long term?
The thing is nobody here and not only here but everywhere will advise you a safe coin invest. There's no safe coin to invest at all. Cryptocurrencies are not US government bonds.  Wink

I am a noob in cryptocurrencies. Help.  Huh

Maybe if you is a newbie in the cryptocurrency world you should to be a little bit more patient and before investing start reading more crypto sites, forums, telegram channels, tweets during a couple of weeks and only after it when you will get a better idea of the crypto-world you make some research for choosing a promising coin?
P.S. IMHO, Litecoin is not bad choice...  Wink

394  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Where do you find your news? on: December 17, 2017, 06:59:15 PM
There are too many sources which you should watch and it takes a lot of time. IMHO the right way is using a kind of bot-aggregator which will collect crytpo news. I know a guy who wrote such a bot to track crypto news and he trades according his bot's news signals. If you want I could PM his telegram contacts to you but his bot is not free.
395  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin advice for a new guy on: December 17, 2017, 05:10:21 PM
Hey all. So... after a few weeks of studying crypto i decided to make some purchases. I only bought a couple of days ago, so not holding coins at their lowest point. Nothing huge, but with the idea of holding it for around 10 years to give to my children.
Great idea! Investing in your children is the most profitable investment man can invent.

My purchase is made up of some XRP, Iota and Data. I also bought a Ledger Nano to store it on ( guessing that will be as safe as anything ...) Here's the main questions i am wondering....
Can a Ledger Nano support IOTA? Before this I'd thought no, it can't but a guy whose name is Peter seemed make it real. Hope that article will help you!  Smiley
396  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cardano the new NEO? on: December 17, 2017, 04:26:37 PM
Cardano... does it have a Bitcointalk thread?
No, it hasn't. And it looks very strange for me. Cardano is in TOP-6 in terms of capitalization and not to have its own thread at this forum? IMHO, it's very strange...  Huh
397  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Buy and Hold 100 Cryptocurrencies for 5 Years – Day 9 – $841 USD in profit on: December 17, 2017, 04:05:43 PM
I think it would be better to invest his money in TOP-25, maybe TOP-50 of cryptocurrencies and every half month/ one month redistribute loss/profit between coins of his portfolio.
398  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 95% of Cryptocurrencies will Not Survive in 2018 on: December 17, 2017, 03:58:00 PM
Will Dash reach the top 5?
Today it's Litecoin which is Number 5 in the capitalization category and its capitalization is about $17 500 000 000.
Nowadays there are 7 758 663 circulating coins of DASH so if you wanna DASH to become the last coin in TOP-5 of the cryptocurrency world or another words to take rank #5 in the capitalization category its price should be 2 times more than now or about $2150.
My question is will DASH become coin #2 in the list (I mean the price of the coin)? Will DASH overtake BCH?
399  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What makes a altcoin valuable on: December 17, 2017, 12:25:51 PM
What makes an altcoin valuable?
The value of such virtual thing as a cryptocurrency in my humble opinion is just a kind of agreement between 2 or more persons who sell and buy some coin thinking it has some value that suits the buyer and the seller. The same thing is with artworks. Nobody knows the real value of them.
400  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Etherdelta Gone ?!?!?! on: December 17, 2017, 12:18:24 PM
Im from Russia and etherdelta is not working here. So I use a VPN to work on it. And its works with it. Now ED is alright - it not offline.
Very strange info you've given to us. I'm from Russia too and just now have used EDGE and Chrome browsers without any VPN and got access to Etherdelta.com in both. Then repeated this experiment with help of Firefox and Opera (VPN turned off) with the same success. Everything funktions fine!  Wink
