381  Other / Off-topic / Re: What's your way of spreading Bitcoin knowledge? on: October 31, 2017, 04:43:15 AM
Personally, if I'm in a coffee shop or any store with some people, I pull out my wallet and subtly show them my Xapo debit card. Then they get curious on what kind of card is that since it doesnt look like the usual Mastercard or creditcard. Then I explain it from there on.

What's your way of spreading Bitcoin knowledge? Smiley
im using social medias to spread my knowledge in bitcoin. because some of my friend as me now how to earn money with that bitcoin. now they are earning high like other and they always thank me for the knowledge i gave to them.

the difference between trading and investing, in trading you can check the details of your money and you are the one makes your money double or morethan high profits. but in investing you cant see want will happen in your money because some investing site are scammer so if you cant take the risk dont try investment.

384  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think Bitcoin will survive after 100 year ? on: October 31, 2017, 03:09:54 AM
I am asking this just to see the different opinions of Bitcoin community about its long term potential

I know Bitcoin is actually strong enough and stable as well

But what do you think about it after 100 years ?
i think  yes bitcoin is already 10year or morethan 10years, bitcoin has a big potential compare to other. i see bitcoin after 100 years still strong because many people are involve here. there are lot of investor and traders here, managers and ceos of different company is also involve here.
385  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin reduces unemployment on: October 30, 2017, 02:13:59 PM
I agree bitcoin can reduce unemployment because lot of people take lot of opportunity from bitcoin thats why it lessen the number of people who dont have work.
386  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Are Now Used in Crimes on: October 25, 2017, 02:31:51 PM
I think yes they use it as a payment for their illegal transactions. Because bitcoin is not traceable thats why they do an illegal exchange. Bitcoins use to scam people in comes of investment.
387  Economy / Economics / Re: How can we make more money? on: October 25, 2017, 01:27:14 PM
I make money with bitcoin now with the use of forum because in this forum there are lot of opportunity that waiting to all who wants to earn easily.
388  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it possible to find lost bitcoins? on: October 25, 2017, 12:17:44 PM
Millions of bitcoins are considered lost. Who will find them?
I dont think so that is the big disadvantage of bitcoin. We cannot trace all transaction of bitcoin thats why all hacker are always exist and all illegal transaction will exist also.
389  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: why do governments don't make BTC illegal worldwide ? on: October 25, 2017, 10:28:42 AM
I'm wondering this because is such a real threat to bank system and we all know how banks and governments are tightly linked !

BTC could make people more autonomous, self-resilient, being their own bank. You can use it like cash, making your transaction almost untraceable (or untraceable using e.g. monero or dash or laundry systems) : this is governments worst nightmare, isn't it ?

because they have some reasons thats why its illegal number one reason is bitcoin is not traceable illegal transaction will made if they cant fix it. they will use bitcoin as a payment for their drugs and other illegal things. lot of people use bitcoin to hack other holders and make an scamming sites to earn more money.
390  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: October 25, 2017, 09:29:56 AM
If you had to convert all your wealth to either Bitcoin or gold and keep it there for 10 years, which would you choose? Keep in mind the fact that Bitcoin has only been around for 5 years, and could be fundamentally different in any number of ways in 10 years.
bitcoin is very large why ? APPLE VPRESIDENT said that we cannot compute the number of bitcoin that can be mined  because it is not natural resource it comes from our computer. nobody can say how many bitcoin do we have in the future.
391  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happen if bitcoin build a headquarter bank on: October 25, 2017, 08:44:38 AM
what happens if bitcoin builds a bank just like a bank with a headquarters, savings account management and also makes a bitcoin account card ??
if bitcoin do that kind idea bitcoin become more popular to all people who dont believe. when time comes lot all investor will contribute to make bitcoin our 1st currency all over the world. it also helps all people to work with bitcoin and lot of company will make more ico.
392  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if holding the bitcoin becomes illegal? on: October 25, 2017, 06:27:05 AM
Just imagine what will happen if once the government will ban Bitcoin ?

https://blog.eth-price.com/2017/09/11/governemt-making-bitcoin-illegal/
I dont think it will happen because holding bitcoin is the same as hold gold because they are both investment. The price of each item has a chance to lose and to win because the price is unstable.
393  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Buying and Holding the only way? on: October 24, 2017, 08:45:09 PM
i tried to calculate how much would i make from bitcoin mining using an antminer s9, and i don't think it's worth it for me as the cost of electricity is high where i live, which is in the UK (it's 20 cents approx), i make like $300 profit a year. and obviously i can't use faucets as that will take years to get one bitcoin. so is the only way to even get any value from bitcoin is to buy it and hold it on for another few years? but it is a risky investment due to the price. or should i invest in new currencies that are cheap right now and have potential to grow to $4k a coin?  Huh

There are a lot of ways but different risks, if you want high return but high risks then gambling is for you, but if you want to earn steadily then go for campaigns and mining.
I agree if you want passive income but risky go gambled your money different site use bitcoin as a currency and they have small percent of house hedge. But if you want to earn money try to apply in bounty campaigns they give high salary to all who wants to have an steady income
394  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you OK with Bitcoin being called a token? on: October 24, 2017, 01:36:44 PM
Popular use of the word "token", in this community, is/was related to "ETH ICO bubble things", not the creation of Satoshi known as Bitcoin.

BTC = Bit COIN not Bit Token
"...bitcoin closed Tuesday at $4,009 per token — twice its price in July..."
https://www.usatoday.com/story/tech/news/2017/09/21/bitcoin-buyers-libertarian-bent-drive-prices-records/594971001/
The above is only one of way too many recent examples in the media.

Are you OK with Bitcoin being called a token?
Do you need to be sent to crypto re-education camp?  Cheesy

I dont care if bitcoin is token. Because you can use it in anytypes of payment when bitcoin is already use in markets.
395  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What to do with the people who don't like Bitcoin? on: October 24, 2017, 01:00:51 PM
What would you do when you're talking to someone but then he suddenly talks about his hatred on Bitcoin, what would you react to it?

I've never actually experienced anything like this before, I just want to be prepared when it happened to me.
Dont mind those people who dont like bitcoin because some reasons. Maybe they dont know how good bitcoin and also dont have knowledge to botcoin thats why they are bashing bitcoin.
396  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How and where to keep Bitcoins to get free Bitcoin Gold? on: October 24, 2017, 11:30:28 AM
I dont think bitcoin gold is free because if you want to have bitcoin you need to have bitcoin balance to get the free bitcoingold. Some exchanger supports that free bitcoingold.
397  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is there any way to destroy the bitcoin? on: October 24, 2017, 03:27:22 AM
Is there any way to destroy the bitcoin?  Not to hack or fake it but completely destroy the system.
i think people who make bitcoin as payment for illegal transaction will harm bitcoin. another thing is when you make a scam with the use of bitcoin they will  not trust bitcoin anymore and government is the other one who can destroy bitcoin when they ban it in their country.
398  Economy / Economics / Re: I want to invest 1000 USD into crypto on: October 23, 2017, 11:48:16 PM
Alright, let's say I have a budget of 1000 USD and I want to invest it into cryptocurrency. Is it better to buy my own setup and mine or do cloud mining or should I buy some coins directly ? What cryptocurrency might be the best for long-term profit ? I am willing to lose that money (although I would be sad ofc) but I wanna somehow start with cryptos since I believe it has got a great future.
If i have that money i will build a mining computer to have more bitcoin. When i get more profit i will upgrade or buy more mining cards for computer to have massive income
399  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin reaches a record level, surpassing $ 6,000 on: October 23, 2017, 11:08:06 PM
Bitcoin reached record value Friday, exceeding the $ 6,000 threshold, and reaching a total capitalization of over $ 100 billion, as investors continue to look optimistically at this virtual currency, which exists in limited quantities and which has opened the way for several  ... More
Soon bitcoin will reached a million each because it has a big potential in markets and when bitcoin is already legal in whole world.
400  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How ATM bitcoin work??? on: October 23, 2017, 02:33:47 PM
I dont know if bitcoin in the philippines has atm cards but virtual card i think coins.ph has. I dont think we need to have atms because we can withdraw our money using banks and other mode of withdrawals.
