Nice to see some progress on the wallet. Any dates when ready for download? We also need to hit a exchange soon before miners lose interest and we end up with a dead coin. Coinmarketcap should be a priority as well.

@longasleep, you spent around 60 000 Euro just in GPU-s, another 5000 in 13 motherboards, 13 RAM memories, 13 SSD and 13 Power supply. That is a big money, from my experience you will need at least 2 years for return. Or, just to hope a big pump like ETH last summer for faster ROI. Just my opinion.
write it off instantly makes it easyer to mine newer coins. its btw more power supplys 1080ti draw 200w~ at the best sol/watt setup. 8 cards on every board works so 10 rigs total. my approach is not mining the most profitable coin right now. i prefer mining coins that still have that 100x-1000x potential. without buying the actual coin it will only cost me power which is cheap. i got a big list of failed coins and a few big hits fun part of the game honestly. most part is being able to afford the losses and being patient for the wins. успокойтесь - купите сами на половину прибыли видеокарты а на другую половину прибыли научитесь торговать на биржах - и вы всё поймёте! ) Why are you replying a english written post in russian? Okey if we could do some price speculation for 2018. How high do you think nexus can go in 2018?
I would say that nexus is really undervalued at the moment and going under the radar. I think it could go up to $20 next year which mean they would be among the top 10 coins which I don't see impossible.

For the same cost i would get the rx 470 . generating less heat , power draw much better  1) 6 vga cards / psu / cpu cooling going to generating a lot of heat in a small room ... 2) mining rig can be quite , its all about the ambient temperature . if the amb temp is low , then the fans not going crazy 3) If you can keep the GPU temp around 55-60 that's perfect , you dont need extrnal fan , but yo still need to open a window , or circulating the air somehow ... Ahh thabks for your reply, hmmm seems that the main thing is needed to circulate the air out of the room, is this correct? Lets say in a Square room, it would need a hole to pass the air out. But here comes the problem, during night time i do on AC tho, if i turn on my AC, although i didnt open my windows, its okay in this case right? If you have aircon on during night time its no problem. I have my rig in a small studio and I sleep no more then a meter away from my rig. If I have ac on I cant even hear the rig with fans on 75%. Might be different depending on what cards. Im using palit super jetstream 1080ti which are really quiet. |

How come the wallet can't stay synced with blockchain after some time when solo mining? It's very annoying when checking the wallet and it's mining a few blocks behind and you wasted all the hashes. How can we solve this and what's the reason behind it?

So i just started experimenting with mining zen cash(first time mining) and i am having 140 sol with my GTX 770 and i was wondering is this somehow profit enough to just let it there while i m working my internship (8 hours) ?

With 140sol mining for 8 hours will earn you less then $0.20 a day. Up to you if you think its worth it or not. |

with 4 1080ti (953mh/s) better to mine in the pool or go solo?
Not sure. Been mining solo for 3 days with 700mh/s and found 1 block. Just started pool mining a few hours ago and looks like I'm about to earn 8-9 coins/24h. Not very profitable. |

I try really with both pools eu/us, and i can join in the pool, but the miner restart 2sec after joining in the pool!
I try also different miners (wolf0, SKminer, solo and pool)
Only with the eu/us pool .ru is connected, but after connect restart ...and this every 2sec!
Did you update to latest Nvidia drivers? I'm mining right now at us pool with skminer without problem. This is from there website: "Important! If you encounter infinite "timeout loop" please consider updating nvidia drivers". |
