381  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why? on: May 05, 2019, 08:29:57 AM
Take a look at Elon Musk and the way he is managing with Tesla's problems. Tesla is not bringing any kind of revenue and it is still alive only because of money, they get from governments, stock emission and some other kinds of loans. And every time everything is getting bad with tesla he announce a flamethrower (or some other geeky shit) to draw  the community attention on it. I bet that back in 2017 he could only tweet th word "Bitcoin" during another stock emission and get some free money.
382  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you buy lottery online in bitcoin payment? on: May 05, 2019, 08:08:52 AM
Hi, I’m Karolus and interested in lottery and blockchain.

I am now planning to make a lottery purchase platform where you can buy lottery in bitcoin.

So I’m doing a survey now. If you have the same points of interest with me, fill the form down below.

https://forms.gle/wEqK5oqrzTDYeFbQ8

You can also reply to me here.

Thank you anyway.
Why only purchase? Seems like people would lose pretty much on your service fees andexchange rate. Is it easier to make something like online casino? I guess a plenty of gambling websites should already have something like that.
Also, your Idea seems bad because you may have customers from different countries that want to buy their local tickets or maybe some other countries that are not available for your service.
383  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Have 1 BTC in alts should I transfer all to BTC on: May 05, 2019, 08:01:06 AM
First of all all newb / jr.members on this forum that claim they got 1-100 bitcoins are actualy are just spammers so you have to prove that you've got those coins.
Second is that everything depends on what you want to achieve. If you need to get some bigger profit then you may buy all those shitcoins and wait for pump. If you want to keep your money safe then just buy BTC. It have a larger cap and during all recent price changes it's correction was always not that hard that the other coins had. So if you are goind to hodl instead of speculation then buy BTC.
384  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] Earncryptointerest.com - Earn the most interest for your crypto on: May 04, 2019, 07:01:12 PM
First of all, this is the shittiest thread that I've ever seen. Have you had an idea to design your thread if you are going to attract some customers?
Second is for people that possibly may use their service: remember that owning a cryptocurrency is risky by default.  When you are trying to earn more crypto with your currency crypto you are multiplying the existing risks. Don't be too greedy.
385  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Facebook bans Alex Jones and others on: May 04, 2019, 04:57:27 PM

Most people on the left are mentally sick by now. Not only should these big corporations be sliced into peaces, there should be legalisation preventing this kind of nonsense (as well as hefty fines in % of total market capitalization). Facebook et. al. of today are the town square of yesterday. Don't bullshit with the "private companies" crap when there are next-to-no alternatives.
It feels like the only logical solution for that problem is creating some kind of Internet Bill of Rights. Considering how much our electronic identities are influencing our lives people may get their basic internet rights fixed in the law like they did with the other rights.
But the bad thing is that such solutions are possible only in the US because it is the only country with a free speech.
386  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Russia loses billions of USD to crude oil sabotage on: May 04, 2019, 04:50:24 PM
It seems like some kind of mistake rather than a planned sabotage. There is absolutely no reason for russians to sabotage the economy of other countries simply because natural resourses and they have absolutely no reasons to lose their money and markets. I suggest they would have to pay some extra compensations for that spoiled oil. Such things may easily happen in any other country. We see that scandal in the news mostly just because it is such a bad Russia.
387  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will they ever find Satoshi Nakamoto? Make your prediction... on: May 04, 2019, 04:22:06 PM
Considering that Satoshi is not really needed now and he is not working on BTC blockchain and for the last time his name was used only to scam people I guess that none of the serious people is care about finding him while all those scammers that use his name are getting a huge benefit of his anonimity.
Also it is pretty hard to find him. It is like looking for an old forum member that never left his real data and remains offline for years.
388  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Our bitcoin private key will be in danger, sometime in the future on: May 04, 2019, 09:03:55 AM
I allow you to take ALL of my Bitcoins as soon as you guess my private key and after that brute my wallet. I can even consider giving you my password if you show me my private key lol.
It will take decades for any existing computer to get a propper private key and then it may take the same time to brute its password (ofc it was set properly).
The existing amount of words is more than enough.
389  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NIGERIA's APEX BANK PROPOSES BLOCKCHAIN FOR ITS MARKET on: May 04, 2019, 08:41:40 AM
The apex bank of Nigeria has proposed to use the blockchain to transform its financial markets,
Oh, dat famous Nigerian financial markets... I'm definetely gonna buy some Nigerian obligations or some other financial instruments.
I guess that APEX decided very quickly with this. If the bank would like to adopt the blockchain technology then they must first know how it works and sees the potential of it. I understand that establishing a business could start with trials and errors but it is really possible to avoid a lot of errors if you will study first before entering something.

The youth embraced the cryptocurrency for the reason that they are thinking that they have a different approach in life. However, it doesn't mean they know everything about the cryptocurrency. Sometimes, they just wanted to feel belong to the group of people they admire or to society.
Nigeria is still struggling with high inflation. Any kind of blockchain implementation (and I'm sure that won't be cryptocurrencies) is a technical solution that would only support some possible solutions. To transform Nigerian financial markets first of all they need to make institutional changes to reorganize their financial system and build an economy, that would produce good quality projects. Without it any kind of blockchain implementation would be useless.
390  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Central Banks in the Age of Blockchains on: May 03, 2019, 09:34:02 PM
Central banks are regulating monetary supply in their countries. They are printing new money not because they are so dumb and they inflating their currencies but because they need to boost growth of their economy. There is absolutely no gap between economy and technology of blockchain. They are just operating in different fields and central banks don't really care about it.

I can agree with the first part of your explanation and yes, central banks are there to care about monetary stability and support the conditions for stable economy.
But I don't agree that they don't care about blockchain. They are also very well aware of future and developing technologies, they can't escape that. But they are obliged to a lot if law regulations and therefore more cautious. But cryptocurrencies will not endanger them because they will adjust.
Surely they can implement blockchain into their activities, but it would be something like a cyber security blockchain project or some blockchain database. It is good but it is not a groundbreaking change that would change the way central banks and global economy work. Everything would remain the same but someone would be able to cut some costs with a help of blockchain.

392  Economy / Services / Re: Translator Needed for Ongoing Project - VIMEE (VIMX) on: May 03, 2019, 05:21:08 PM
Considering that OP gave a link to altcoin translation  bounty he is going to pay in his ICO tokens.
So this thread have to be also moved to altcoin bounties section.

Why do you need Indonesian translator? I don't think you need an Indonesian version of whitepaper or announcement thread as this project is from Indonesia. There are a lot of Bahasa native speakers in your team already.
Have you ever thought about those on the team  not having the free time to do the translation? Besides, that isn't part of their term of reference for the job. More so, may I quickly remind you that not every native speaker of a language can write in that language. Just the same way spoken English isn't written English.
Ah, those smart indonesians that don't even think in indonesian and never make any sketches on their native language. Ofcourse they at first made and english version of WP and then decided to translate it into indonesian.

The country's apex bank governor once likened the cryptocurrency to a Ponzi scheme and said the people who were buying it were gamblers since the nation's apex bank has no control or regulation over its activities.
So if someone is storing his savings in extremely unstable virtual coin in order to catch a moment when his savings grow in price, that can't be considered as gambling?

It seems they have like Dimon Jamie the CEO of JP Morgan realize their error or they were actually hypocrite and have now make a U-turn.
He gonna issue a stablecoin that would be only used inside his bank and won't have any impact on the other cryptocurrencies. This guy is still not suporting traditional cryptocurrencies.
394  Other / Politics & Society / Facebook bans Alex Jones and others on: May 03, 2019, 04:09:40 PM
Source: https://www.cnn.com/2019/05/02/tech/facebook-ban-louis-farrakhan-infowars-alex-jones-milo-laura-loomer/index.html

Facebook (that also owns instagram) is completely banning some right opinion makers like Alex Jones and Milo Yiannopoulos with an official reason of "promoting violence". Which is obviously bullshit.
With a current level of society digitalization do you feel that those centralized corporations got too much power over common people?
395  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Stop chasing the "next" bitcoin on: May 03, 2019, 03:55:11 PM
This is some kind of greed that drives people. Some people saw how BTC grew from almost nothing to $5.5k and they want to believe that with a help of this breakthrough technology he will become rich with their $1 of their pocket money investments. But it is pretty obvious that BTC won't make a fast x100+ so they are searching for something, that would become a new super global currency that is still able to bring them huge profits.
396  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Htc Reveals Plans For New Gen Blockchain Smartphone In 2019 on: May 03, 2019, 02:24:28 PM
It is important to remember that blockchain may be used outside cryptocurrency sphere. And many of those companies that announce that they are implementing blockchain into their activities means that they for example may just store some of their data on blockchain which would limit their security costs or some other expences. It will have absolutely zero impact on all cryptocurrencies. The same thing is probably happening with smartphones.
397  Other / Politics & Society / Re: CNN trying to manufacture consent backfires hilariously! on: May 03, 2019, 01:53:39 PM
Even in the picture of the candidates they buried Bernie Sanders under almost everyone else.
No matter if anyone is burring him or not. Bernie is probably still in the same shit.
But you should remember that literally all media were against Trump on previous election, so your favorite candidate still have his chances.

P.S. The only fact of existence such candidate like Bernie in such country like US isscreaming about degradation of the american political system.
398  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: mass-adopted of crypto on: May 03, 2019, 01:46:43 PM
Boosting transactions speeds, hard forks, and bolt-ons, like the lightning network with atomic swap capability, are all well and good, but try and explain this to someone in their late fifties who first posted on Facebook in 2017, and you’ll see the problem.
We already had several hard forks with different kinds of retards staying behind them which only used it to wash the market cap of  BTC and cut their own piece of cake. Now can you please point at the point that boosted cryptocurrency adoption?

Each technology uses a different frequency range, so why doesn't your smartphone need several separate antennas, one for each frequency range?
For now, the usability of the technology of cryptocurrencies if far behind the usability of mentioned Visa. Why should people use cryptocurrencies?
399  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Britain keeps the penny but micropayments might promote crypto adoption on: May 03, 2019, 12:17:16 PM
This article argues that clever pricing strategies and the ability to current transaction fees payments less than $1 may help speed the adoption of cryptocurrencies.
All those crypto transaction fees are still much bigger than 0 fees that we pay when we give some cash for our purchases at the local grocery. From this point of view any fee decrease is not pushing the adoption.

The marketing side in Bitcoin is something that is really lacking. This is in my opinion a big disadvantage for a decentralized platform. As in anything, there is a need for a marketing strategies. On this matter, there must be an effective and less costly way for people to spend Bitcoin on products and service below $1. This can be helping towards more Bitcoin adoption everywhere. And of course, can push for more merchants to join the Bitcoin bandwagon.
If benefits of using some particular payment methods are so small that you have to promote them aggressively then  you are using a bad payment sustem. Same thing is appliable to cryptocurrencies.
400  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What can you buy with bitcoin? on: May 03, 2019, 10:59:04 AM
I've seen a plenty of listings with places that accept BTC and in almost all cases that was a some kind of PR move where either BTC prices were much higher than the market prices to that stuff or it is simply  far not the cheapest shop and you may find another one with everything 50% cheaper. So it may be much easier and cheaper to sell your BTC on exchange and buy whatever you need in any store with your fiat.
