381  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Many big powers agains crypto on: December 26, 2019, 08:44:11 AM
I just read this article and it really startled me. Seems "the big boys" are not betting on the crypto horse and would hope to see it die out.
Guess that is no news but when social media platforms are applying this type of censorship it crosses some limits in my book.
https://news.bitcoin.com/speculation-abounds-regarding-youtubes-removal-of-crypto-content/
Is this the beginning for a new crypto exclusive youtube clone?
Maybe the main reason why those people doesn't want cryptocurrency in youtube is because they always got left behind on our era. Maybe they cannot adapt that is why the main reason that they did is to report those cryptocurrency videos in the youtube platform.
382  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin on 3rd January? on: December 25, 2019, 02:39:08 PM
I do not really know this kind of event. Maybe people are now preparing for the upcoming halving event. But as we all know, halving will not gonna have an instant effect instead, it needs some time and it might affect the market after a year. So be mindful to the transactions that you are going to make this upcoming 2020.
383  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: All of you Bitcoin Hodlers are mentally ill - *Must Read! on: December 25, 2019, 01:58:38 PM
Some of the other people really relies all of their money in the market trend of the bitcoin. They have invested all of their money there that is why they become so paranoid when the price of it drops. Little did they know that volatility is the main characteristic of bitcoin and they must accept it. The good thing is that bitcoin price recover so fast so do not lose hope everyone.
384  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Outclasses Other Cryptocurrencies as an Investment Option, Here’s Why on: December 25, 2019, 09:42:11 AM
When it comes to the value, bitcoin really outcast other cryptocurrency but technology wise, some altcoins already performed well compare to bitcoin and this is true. Bitcoin is still limited, and altcoins are the best alternative when it comes to the usage and not just about the investment side.
The main reason why bitcoin outclasses other cryptocurrency is because it is the most trusted coin in the cryptocurrency scene. Even though the value of it is unstable, it is gonna be easy for it to recover because it has so many investors. Some investors tend to check the ranking of the coin first and as we all know, Bitcoin is on the top list that is why they are investing into it.
385  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin has gone up the past week. on: December 25, 2019, 08:16:18 AM
It has gone up around $800, do you think they could run it up and then I would come down before January 1 before the new year. Or they will not come in to play?  I’m waiting for some money to clear to buy some. And I don’t know right now is the best time to buy
You could try to invest in bitcoin now since the current value of it is lower than usual. Take this opportunity to have some bitcoin and try to hold it as long as you can. Wait for the perfect moment that the price of it will rise up and that is the time that you are going to sell it so that you will gain a profit. Patience is really the key to success in investing.
386  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the fate of Scammers if bitcoin later becomes a traceable Currency. on: December 25, 2019, 07:49:42 AM
Bitcoin as a currency that is decentralized, they is no Headquarters for Bitcoin and it has no Central office where they distribute information concerning Bitcoin, Like illicit transactions that money was lost but recovered after some investigations through the distributed information.

like someone said on my previous thread that more people will be comfortable using bitcoin if these features comes into place.

Share your thoughts.
Actually almost all of your transaction is traceable in bitcoin. The only thing that they cannot do is to retrieve their lost coin if someone scam them using beautiful words. That is the only problem if the currency that you have is decentralized. No government is involved and you cannot complain if something happens to your money whether it is stolen or sent to the wrong address.
387  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much bitcoin to buy? on: December 25, 2019, 06:20:14 AM
You must at least plan first before investing in bitcoin. Do not invest all of your physical money because you will need it for your daily needs. Invest your money in bitcoin only if that is your extra money because investing is a long term process. Meaning, it really needs some patience before your money grow.
388  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "Can I pay in Bitcoin here?" - go and ask this each time you pay something! on: December 25, 2019, 05:31:22 AM
Me and my friends go over to asking the staff every time we have to pay a bill somewhere at the checkout if we can pay with Bitcoin. Of course the answer is always no. We are much more concerned with raising awareness among the general public about cryptocurrencies and Bitcoin in particular. Because we often see that shortly after this question, employees tell their colleagues about this presence, and they will almost certainly do so at home.  A single question can reach dozens of people and Bitcoin is becoming more aware.

So: go out and invest those few seconds during each payment process to push the Bitcoin!
The thing that you are doing will have a huge impact to our community in terms of economy. If they say no in your question, they will probably gonna ask their manager what bitcoin is and someone is requesting it as a payment for the products that they want to buy. In that case, our community will go bigger as well as the price of bitcoin.
389  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What’s the best coin to buy apart from bitcoin on: December 25, 2019, 05:02:21 AM
Hi,
Need to know the best coin to buy.
Since last 2 years nearly every coin has struggle to keep up.
Suggestions on the future predictions.

Well for me Ethereum and Ripple is the best coin to invest to since they are the one that has a faster recovery than any other coins out there. Their price might drop since they are volatile but those coins has a faster recovery of price since it is trusted by so many investors out there.
390  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would a Crypto Based Economy Make Things Safer? on: December 25, 2019, 03:55:41 AM
I really do not think so. We all know that cryptocurrency works around the internet. Everything on the internet is vulnerable to hacking cases such as stealing of private information and use it to log in to your cryptocurrency wallet. In that case, they would be able to steal some of your money there.

392  Economy / Speculation / Re: Best time to selling the BTC Now on: December 20, 2019, 07:04:48 AM
Good Morning! Bitcoiners.
Please sell the BTC now ASAP.
The price of bitcoin will fall down more and more.
It will be hard to defend $7000.
I think now is good time to get your original money from cryptocurrency.
Regards  Shocked
As long you earn income from selling bitcoin maybe its the best time to sell. But, in the current condition of the market, it is advisable to sell your bitcoin and the good decision you can make right now is to hold or to buy more bitcoin. Even bitcoin will fall down some investors are have a strong hand where they will still hold it than selling it because I know they will regret in the future if they going to sell their bitcoin right now. Try to be more patient and just wait until the price start on rising.
393  Economy / Economics / Re: One faithful day that change my life. :) on: December 19, 2019, 02:52:37 PM
What changed your life? Bitcoin has changed my mind and my life. Initially, when I first heard about the field of digital money, I did not believe. After that, I saw a lot of people going up from investing in digital currencies. I decided to try my luck. First, I participated in bonus campaigns to get free coins. More successful than expected, Bitcoin earned me more money than any other job. And from there I expanded my investment on the Bitcoin exchange.
That is the greatness of bitcoin and this forum because besides investing from our own money, we can still get it for free to grow the investments we have and everything is done according to the skills we have.
bitcoin can change someone's life for the better and can restore disappointment or loss that we have experienced before, and OP is a very valuable experience that will be a lesson when finding the same thing and will not fall into the same hole and for that money problem very sensitive who can turn a situation into a disaster or disappointment without seeing whether it is another person, friend, family or anyone and they will justify any means to achieve it.
Someday, you will just laugh because of that bad memories and experiences because it helped you to be a good version of yourself. Maybe that experience will lead OP into a much better situation, it's good to see that people can stay positive regardless of what they experience it can inspire a lot of people like me who sometimes doubt ourselves because of some stupid decision we made but I perceived that we don't have to stop chasing our goals just because of some things that did not go well. We have to understand we also made some mistakes and because of that there is a possibility that we can lose our money. We have to take it and face it because it is the only way for us to succeed.
394  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [What IF] Part 9 on: December 19, 2019, 10:39:18 AM
Hello, running a bit late again,...
So let's get started already, I hope everyone is on a very good condition this time even though holidays are pretty coming near.

What if,... you're just watching someone on a Casino that suddenly keeps winning for a streak then after that he notice you and gave some money as a tip for his luck. Would you use the money he gave you to try your luck on that game (or any game you like) ? Or just keep the money for yourself for a good cause?

So tell me, what's gonna be...
For me, I will use the half of money to play because we do not know if I also luck like him. Then, I will keep the half of money in my wallet. Maybe, my decision is just like a win win situation, because despite of losing the half of the money it is okay since I still have some money left from what he gave me. But, the best decision is keep it and do not use it to play again.
395  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: MAY CHANCE BA NA MADEFEAT NG XRP ANG BTC BILANG TOP 1? on: December 19, 2019, 08:42:48 AM
XRP has a pretty solid foundation. Over the years XRP has grown steadily in the cryptocurrency market. But if compared to BTC, it may not be comparable

396  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to introduce crypto currency to newbies on: December 18, 2019, 04:56:36 PM
In your opinion, what is an effective way to introduce crypto currency for newbies, and how important do you think?
I think platform like the Brave browser are a very effective way, this is important because newbies are the future?
Give all your thoughts here
We have different ways on how we will introduce cryptocurrencies to the newbies. For me, I will guide them by hand and I will tell them that they need to watch some videos on Youtube so they can have more background on cryptocurrencies. Moreover, always ask them if they need help so you can answer all their question on the things that they do not understand. You can also talk to them personally than chatting them because you can fully explain it well.
397  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which Online Casino has the Most Fun Games? Recommendations? on: December 18, 2019, 03:36:41 PM
I already play in the different gambling site but in terms of the games, I usually play the Dice game in Bitsler because it was recommended by my friend. Besides on dice games, I also play online poker and blackjack and I played in Cloudbet. Windice is also a great gambling site where you can play dice games. Here are the 3 gambling sites where I usually play Bitsler, Cloudbet, and Windice.
398  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: You selling to buy Xmas gifts or using bitcoins to buy Xmas gifts? on: December 18, 2019, 02:26:37 PM

Are you using your coins to buy Xmas gifts and to pay for your holiday expenses?

Actually, I do not use any cryptocurrency to buy Xmas gifts and even paying holiday expenses. I just use our fiat because for me it's more convenient in buying stuff like Xmas gift and there are few stores that accept cryptocurrencies in our country. I rather use my save money than selling my bitcoin just to buy stuff. I know many members here will sell their bitcoin just to buy some Xmas gift and it's their decision to sell their bitcoin but for me, it's better to hoard your bitcoin than selling it.
399  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Bakit mas magandang gamitin ang linux for mining on: December 18, 2019, 01:53:41 PM

400  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Which 3 exchanges would you recommend? on: December 18, 2019, 12:56:22 PM
To those who feel too lazy to read the article, 3 exchanges sites which OP suggested are Kucoin, Coinbase and Bittrex

All of them are good exchanges, but if you are asking about my personal opinion, i would go for Binance, Poloniex and Forkdelta as the 3 best exchange site
Same with you, I will also go with the Binance exchange. This exchange is one of the great trading platforms that I have used and aside from having great coins that now belong to the good coins in the market and many members here have their account in Binance exchange. I do not have an account in Poloniex but I have some experience in using Forkdelta and it just like Etherdelta which you need to import your private key.
